Sylia is a wonderful and enthralling game and very much worth playing.
All those who don't like reading a lot in games shouldn't drop Sylia just because of the dialogs at the beginning.
The story is really nice and unusual. Playing with animals and taking advatage of their special abilities and skills is a lot of fun.

Sylia is a wonderful and enthralling game and very much worth playing.
All those who don't like reading a lot in games shouldn't drop Sylia just because of the dialogs at the beginning.
The story is really nice and unusual. Playing with animals and taking advatage of their special abilities and skills is a lot of fun.
There's a lot to explore and discover, quests to solve, and there are some really unique features. My favorite is being able to recruit enemies during fights, who then will follow you and fight alongside your party.
I fell in love with this game I very much recommend trying it! Show less

There is some opening dialogue to get everyone, including anyone who has not played Sylia Act 1, up to speed on the story, and then you're off to play a game that has great exploration, one of the most unusual cast of characters you will ever meet, side quests, great story and just simply hours of fun. There is some opening dialogue to get everyone, including anyone who has not played Sylia Act 1, up to speed on the story, and then you're off to play a game that has great exploration, one of the most unusual cast of characters you will ever meet, side quests, great story and just simply hours of fun. This is not one of those games that is over in the time it takes to cook the Sunday dinner, it has enormous value for money, and with the range of characters, and number of places to explore, it has huge replay value.

Dungeons, battles, relics and artifacts - Sylia is a well polished classical RPG. But the animal crew is what definitively makes it stand apart.
Recommended.

Your guess is as good as mine, but obviously somebody figured out how to play this archaic style game, and liked it, why else would they make a sequel? In all fairness I gave this game two stars instead of one simply because I couldn't figure out how to play the game, this could be my lack of knowledge so I will give the game the benefit of the doubt and say I dislike this game. Your guess is as good as mine, but obviously somebody figured out how to play this archaic style game, and liked it, why else would they make a sequel? In all fairness I gave this game two stars instead of one simply because I couldn't figure out how to play the game, this could be my lack of knowledge so I will give the game the benefit of the doubt and say I dislike this game. What I do know about the game is that the Queen of Aliens has ordered her minions to blow up planet Earth with bombs because her plans were thwarted several times before presumably from the first episode. Humans have been turned to stone temporarily, therefore it's up to Nestor the puppy, Katie the cat, Hans the rooster, James the sheep, and other random farm animals to save the world. To stop the bombs, the furry heroes must stop 3 alien cubes at the same time so they break into 3 teams. You can access the menu at any time via the esc button which allows you to call the remote controlled balloon to travel to another location, switch team members and equip team members as well. All of the stats are displayed for each animal such as health, points and skills. There are several rest areas within the game that will allow you to rest any time to recover your life and skill points, these rest areas also allow you to auto save the game up to that point so you want to take advantage of that if you decide to exit the game or if you lose your lives. You are given different quests from time to time and this will be displayed on the menu also. Then there's the fights, that's right, battles will be fought between the furries and the alien monks and I can tell you that I have absolutely no idea what you are supposed to do, in fact I just sat back and watched because no matter what buttons I selected there seemed to be no effect upon the outcome so you're on your own to figure that one out. Hopefully Nestor the puppy can lead his team to victory, find the three keys to those deadly alien bomb cubes and send the aliens back to their own planet so that I don't have to worry about trying to figure out Sylia-Act 3. I downloaded this because-A:) it looked fairly challenging, B:) it was a supposed strategy game and- C:) the characters looked interesting. I like most strategy games if they are well executed. This one wasn't. After six minutes of endless dialog, and I do mean endless, I gave up. No real instructions, animation was very amateurish, music was annoying. I haven't played a game with this type of animation since the early days of games. I cannot see how anyone would give this 5 stars. Must have a lot more patience than me. I gonged this after 6 minutes. All comic book, no play. Not even a way to exit, except to get the Task Manager to close it. If you like to read a game instead of playing it, knock yourself out on this one. I would have given it no stars, but it won't let me.

I read dialog boxes for 6 minutes into the trial and all I could see were endless more boxes of dialog. Is there a game here somewhere or is this just a story? I quit reading what was in the boxes after the first couple of minutes and still they kept popping up. I erased whatever this is. Is it a game or a story or an on line comic? I never found out.

I don't recommend this game.
