This game has been around since June 2014 on other sites. I have played it since then. It is a simplified version of the theme hospital game from 10+ years ago. Unlike the more advanced game there are set spaces for where a room can go and apart from the hall you cannot personalise.

The later levels are quite challenging to complete in the time limit.

I really loved the theme hospital game and there is enough of that essence in this game for me to have kept playing it.

The game through other sites has been prone to crashing so will be interested to find out if it is the case here Show less

This is a supposed to be a strategy based game, but nothing I came across during the demo required me to "think" about my next move. In a nutshell, you take care of patients in two steps, first diagnosing them and then treating them. Once you diagnosis the patient, they can be sent to the treatment phase. If the patient is treated he will be cured and your reputation will increase. If the patient leaves for any reason, your reputation will decrease.

The first step is to build a diagnostic room in an available section of the hospital, there are several types, such as psychiatry or a general physician. The second step is to hire a doctor, which have stats as to their Stamina (how many patients they can handle) Speed (how fast they can manage patients) and Prestige (how much they charge) any of the doctors can be trained at any time to boost their stats. Once the doctor diagnosis the patient, they will automatically be sent to the treatment room corresponding to their illness, the rarer the diagnosis, the lower the odds are for succeeding.

The Time Management aspect comes into play as you try to keep the patients in a good mood. You can purchase items in the Shop such as Benches to make waiting patients more comfortable, Plants and Decorations to put patients in a better mood, or Vending Machines to keep them from being hungry. The bottom line is to keep the patients happy at all costs because you need them to be cured.

As for the game itself, it's glitchy, it's too automated, and not all that fun. It's not a horrible game, it's just a take it or leave it kind of game. Show less

I'm not impressed. I thought maybe it would be a little time management even though it said strategy. It is just clicking to buy and upgrade. Not much skill involved. I lost interest pretty quickly.

I don't recommend this game.

Oh my goodness. This is a newer game than Theme Hospital and runs on the same tracks but it seems they learned NOTHING from the original game. I purchased the full version anyway because, to be honest, I'm desperate for a TM like this and was hoping it might get better as I advanced through the game. That did not happen.

As other reviewers have explained, this is a simple game: Open your hospital. Chose facilities where patients can be treated; there wasn't much choice and after about half way through, no new diseases showed up so the rooms were always the same. Build a lab where you can research illnesses, doctor training (speed, worth, and longevity), and "other" which is basically room and janitor upgrades. There aren't many options in any of the categories.

Once your patients arrive, train your doctors up, improve your environment, and get prepared to just keep clicking away on the doctors and lab, training and researching until you max out or win the level which is fairly easy.

Of special note: I did not appreciate the "teaser" that there was something special that you could do, only to have the character become so distracted that they never tell you what the special "thing" is. I don't care enough to research whether it's some sort of easter egg or not. Just don't tease that something new might come along to get us out of a rut and then not deliver. That sucks.

An issue with the sound/music: Cat Head and Possession forced me to turn the sound off. The complaints I received from housemates about it were embarrassing. Someone actually thought a cat was hurt outside our door. I don't like playing games with the sound off so I tried headphones. OMG. Don't. It's not worth trapping that screeching inside your head.

Anyway, I bought it because as I mentioned, I'm a fan of Theme Hospital, and this type of TM, and was hoping it would get better after advancing past the demo. I finished the game and didn't have any glitches. That is, not until I tried to play again to get 3-stars on every level. That's when the game started freezing, black-screening, and causing me to force close the laptop. It's a nightmare that I don't care to endure so I'll just have to be happy that I got to play the whole game once through and, I guess, my afternoon was worth the $. Show less

This was an OK game, but I didn't like that you could not put your name in at the beginning of the game. The visuals were good, but you have to concentrate to make sure you make the goals. I have played better TM/Strategy games.

I recommend this game!

O.k. game, but way too short, only 20 levels and that is including the 1st 4 which are tutorial levels.

I am pretty sure I played this game a few years ago and it gets boring rather quickly. Don't know why BFG would put this out as a new game, although it was nice to see something besides HO for a game release.

I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed playing this game but found it regularly frustrating. There are not enough rooms available to provide for all the patients and monthly statements absolutely hammer you so you can't improve your hospital for ages.

This game is almost an exact copy of "Theme Hospital," which was released by Bullfrog in 1997. The sad thing is that the graphics & sound aren't any better and this new game is way less fun. I played through the demo but there isn't much to do other than what the tutorial tells you to do.

I don't recommend this game.
