I am enjoying this game much more than I anticipated, after reading some of the prior reviews. It is as good as these type of games get, but even better with the scream sound effect when I make a mistake! I only wish I knew what each puzzle was supposed to be when solved.

I recommend this game!

This is a decent fill and cross game with a Halloween theme and haunting music including a chilling scream if you make a mistake. You will start out with a tutorial unless you choose to skip, and the puzzles start out with a 5 x 5 grid and work their way up. I will say I enjoyed the unusual sized grids such as 15 x 5, which breaks up the monotony. Some of the tiles you uncover will have candy ...Show more

You will start out with a tutorial unless you choose to skip, and the puzzles start out with a 5 x 5 grid and work their way up. I will say I enjoyed the unusual sized grids such as 15 x 5, which breaks up the monotony. Some of the tiles you uncover will have candy which can be used in the shop to purchase 2 starting hints, rights for a mistake x3 or to refill the hints on that particular level. The goal here is basic, earn 3 stars for completing the game without mistakes, each mistake you make, takes away a star. There are trophies to earn for different milestones such as not using a hint or mistakes for 5 games in a row, enjoy! Show less

I love nonograms but this starts at 5x5. and the music and the graphics came from Shadows so really there was not to much thought that went into this game. I love nonograms but this starts at 5x5. and the music and the graphics came from Shadows so really there was not to much thought that went into this game. I gave an overall rating of 4 stars mainly because it's Halloween and I DO like the visual/sound quality even though it came from another game but the challenge was fair. In the beginning you get only three stars (when you get more points, you can shop for more) make a mistake and a star is removed. When all three stars are removed there is a scream. Sadly, if you make a mistake you get nothing. The only spooky sound is from the scream and the music. Like I said before, this game was not thought out. I will purchase this game because of Halloween but will not pay the full price of it. Maybe when the game is on sale or if I get a free game coupon. Show less

I like Fill and Cross games, but in this one every time a new puzzle comes up one is reminded not to make a mistake or you'll lose one star. The message becomes quite tiresome. The music is the same as another fill and cross I own. Some of the puzzles look like Halloween items, but others just geometric shapes. Not very imaginative, but the puzzles are challenging.

I am one of those people who HAS to get a "perfect" on every single individual game...therefore it can take me upwards of 20 min PER puzzle (it takes a while to write everything down). To get a PERFECT on each level you must not make ANY mistakes, must "beat the clock" and, of course, must complete the puzzle! Each level is somewhat easy to complete...but getting a PERFECT is much more difficult!

If anyone is interested in how I write down the solutions in order to complete the puzzle PERFECTLY, this is how I do it:

For every square that is NOT supposed to be filled in I write down an "X"....for each square that IS supposed to be filled I write down a "check."

So, say the first line has 10 empty squares, 4 "filled" squares, 5 empty squares, and then 6 "filled" squares...I would write down on a sheet of paper the following:
(I am going to use a "+" for the checked/filled in squares)

10x (4+) 5x (6+)

Then when I go back in I will know EXACTLY which squares to fill in and which ones to leave blank....providing me with a PERFECT score!

although I love the griddler puzzles, this one, not so much. The Xs are too faint and hard to see, you are only allowed 2 mistakes before you have to start over and the quality of the graphics is not great. No buy for me - not even worth a free bonus buy.

I don't recommend this game.

I have many nonogram games and having almost finished the first Gizmos game, this just did not measure up.

However - I think it worked. Though I do not remember it it had numbers to count the blocks.

Did not have the sound on so cannot comment.

The graphics were boring. I only made it through about 6 puzzles. Not a buy for me.

I don't recommend this game.

There are far better game of this type available. I found it VERY hard to distinguish between empty squares and those I had eliminated. There's not enough contrast. Save your money.

I don't recommend this game.

Hmm... this game consists of recycled graphics from previous games x2... similar if not exact music from the solitaire Halloween game just offered by them (which also had the recycled graphics from a H0G pc game) and overall an extremely simplified and unforgiving game mechanic.

I own most of the games by this developer and this is just not on par. For my gaming dollar, I expect a much better ...Show more
