At first glance, I thought this was going to be a really horrible game. Everything was so tiny, the cursor was bigger than the people and I have a 30 inch screen! At first glance, I thought this was going to be a really horrible game. Everything was so tiny, the cursor was bigger than the people and I have a 30 inch screen! I kept playing, and what I discovered was an incredibly well crafted game! A young boy and his sister are the sole survivors of a devastating earthquake. They have been traveling aimlessly through the woods as they seek a new village. A kind and gentle man discovers the orphans and invites them to stay with him in a nearby village. The brother wastes no time, he scours the village in search of work to earn their keep.

This game takes some getting used to, basically you click on the exclamation points above each villager. That person may need help medically or may need help with finding lost items, they may even be willing to barter with you. Each task requires different things such as energy or food, or it may require the use of a specific tool. That's where it becomes fun, when you have to figure out what needs to be done in order to achieve each goal. You have to find food and rest, those are necessities, sleeping means bring the old man some food, therefore you have to do favors for other villagers in order to get food so you can rest and receive health! This is a quirky game, an unusual game, it will take some time to understand how the game works, but once you figure it out, it's really fun, enjoy! Show less

Hero of the Kingdom was one of the best games I have played, and there are only a handful in that category. I am probably half way done now, just set sail on the ship, and Hero of the Kingdom 2 is a bit better than the first one. It seems to appeal to more intelligent people because it does require thought at times and planning, but together all of the elements work well. The plot isn’t too demanding to understand, quite the opposite, but the game play is one long series of quests often overlapping with one another. I have a hard time stopping to eat or sleep. It is that good.
The game is quite long, so plan to be entertained for a long time. Show less

The story is about you a brother and your sister is orphan and now live in the woods but one day an old man invite you two to stay at his village and meet other villager at fisherman village. Then Black Rose pirates attack the village kidnapped your only family member , so its your duty to save your sister.

The gameplay is very similar to the older one , meet people with problems or quest to solve . It's not only a quest but also a STORY that make the game is very solid. This game have RPG , HOG , and strategy elements so you have to thinks smartly on resources , money , and energy. While seeking items need a keen eyes as all of them are small as an ant but can easily spot if you understand me. Of course FIGHT with monster , GO HUNTING , and other heroic duty.

The visual is very at the finest and every audio aspect is top notch. The game provides achievements and XP levels or fame as a part of challenges. Also meet various characters and fulfill their quest , get a clue to find your sister.

If you looking for something different , unique and engaging this is for you and me to play. Why 5 stars ? Because it is very original. Have a fun and safe weekend / weekday. Show less

I have been waiting for this game since I played the first one. Played the demo from the developers website quite a few times.

It's such an unusual mixture of time management and strategy with a dash of hidden object.

The second seems to be a bit longer than the first but just as interesting with better graphics. It you enjoyed the first one you will definitely enjoy this one.

I recommend this game!

This is one of the best time management games out there. I loved the last one and this one didn't disappoint. Lots of treasures to seek and find and lots of missions to take on. I love games like this. I wish there were more of them....and more often.

I bought the first one and loved it. I've bought this one and love it. I wouldn't class it as hidden object though. It looks as if I might be about a fifth of the way through and I've been playing for several hours so far. This game might be confusing to begin with if you have not played the first though.
