Best Time Management Game In A Long Time

I loved the first Moai: Build Your Dream, and Path To Another World is even better! Bright Light has been kidnapped by Miru the Master of The World of The Dead. You must travel to Awaika the Domain of the dead, to pursue your beloved across three different realms!

Each Time Management level has different goals to achieve such as building stone quarries, food mills, and Tree Groves, and you must collect the productions quickly to allow them to get back to production. There are repairs needed bridges that need fixed, holes to fill in, stones and trees to remove, trees to cut down, locals and thieves to bargain with and Chests to open. The Chests will contain extra resources, as well as bonuses and artifacts to collect. All of this needs to be done within a specific time before the meter runs out, but you can replay any level. Each level has an Alternate level available with different goals, which will give you more points if you can beat the clock.

My favorite feature was within the Backpack Icon on the map. The Artifacts you collect will be stored in the backpack, there are 24 Artifacts available throughout the game. You can choose 5 of the bonuses to "put on" your character such as the Forest Talisman which will increase the amount of wood you acquire when cutting palm trees! There are 49 Achievements to earn for accomplishments such as fishing in ponds 25 or 50 times. This is a fast paced game, but definitely a fun and addicting game, enjoy! Show less

So chuffed to see they made another one.
Just as enjoyable as the first.
LOVE the lamp men, they are gorgeous.
Love the magic staff to bump off the witches.
Love the all the detail that goes in to the people, the farm fields etc.
I can't beat the timer either but I don't care because I am still able to continue.
Thankyou everyone !

I just wanted to respond to the reviews which say this game is not fun because the timer is too hard to beat. First, for me, this is exactly what makes the game fun: that it's not so simple that you can just play through it in the demo period.

But second, there are ways to do it, you just have to find them. If you can't beat the timer, you can change strategy and find a way through. For me, this ...Show more

Also, a free bonus tip for those who are stuck, though I was able to make it past the timer on quite a few levels before I realized it myself: check your backpack. Show less

Character chatter is still cute and indicates what's going on. Took me awhile in the first Moai to figure that out. Game play is pretty much the same as the first Moai so far. What I enjoy about the Moai series is that buildings are built and swept for resources rather than running characters along roads to pick up items. Strategy is critical. The only thing I didn't like about the first Moai was clicking on the ghosts but I found on my re-plays that I was doing too much clicking and not building statues. Don't know how this one will work out but hopefully it will be as interesting to plan activities. I highly recommend this game to anyone with the perseverance to play through and go back for gold stars later. It's not for anyone easily discouraged. Show less

I loved Moai-Build the Dream, so when I saw the sequel I just bought it straight away. Have only played 12 levels, however it is as much fun as the first and I have already had to restart a level d'uh!!! I highly recommend this game and if you enjoyed the 1st game you'll enjoy this one. However, as usual try it, enjoy it and then buy it. I love the 2nd one better then the first for sure. It keept me playing and playing. When I was done and did not have a gold time in every level, it gave me still another round of playing with a star next to each level. so now I am playing to make it all gold :)
Have fun and I hope you like it as much as I do :)

It might not be the best Game for beginners it is not as easy as some of the others.

I recommend this game!

Kudo's to the developers...the artistry in this game is second to none... it is sharp and clear!!

As far as the levels go you know exactly where you are going and what needs to be done to complete the task. The whole game is clear and concise and so much fun.

You are missing a fun time by NOT playing this awesome game its just a total delight to play !!! Show less

I had just contacted BFG about the lack of TM games, and 2 days later .. ta dah!! I loved the first installation of this game, and the 2nd does not disappoint.

I see some are upset about the timer, and I will admit, at first, I was like, "Oh no!!! Not another impossible TM game (one came out a few days ago that I quit after 6 levels#. I love a challenge, and this game delivers, but if you stay ...Show more

I love a challenge, and this game delivers, but if you stay with it, the game will give you hours of fun. Yes, there are times I had to replay certain levels up the 3-4 times, but isn't that the point of TM? If it were easy to beat every level, why bother with TM and just play w/out the timer #not sure this game has that option).

For those who can't seem to figure out how to beat a level, there are videos on U tube for each level.

Looking forward to meeting the challenges on this game. Give me more of these BFG!! Show less

I agree this is a challenging game, however if you think slightly differently when trying to complete each level you can finish them all in gold time, even that dreaded level 19a! I had to try it 5 times but finally got it! every other level I completed in gold time no worries, just think outside the box on some. I want more of these games!! actually just time management in general would be great! ...Show more

This game was great, it lasted a long time and getting gold was tough but not impossible. I haven't played the original game, but I may go back and try it.
