I couldn't agree more with Biscuitmama, I too have been eagerly awaiting for another Claws & Feathers game to be released....oh happy day! When the first C&F was released, I purchased the game after 5 minutes of playing because this game is just like one of my all time favorites, DaVinci's Secret (only with balls not birds) I never grow tired of playing this game, you have to give it a try, it's totally worth it.

The basic goal of this game is to match at least three of the same colored birds to remove them from the board. Sounds easy, and it is, but of course this gets more difficult as you progress. Those cats are devious, and they must be removed from the board by making matches of at least two of the same colored birds (depending on the size and type of cat) next to the cat. The cats are thieves, and they often are hiding color coded keys to the treasure chests you must open, or they hide bombs and fireworks from you to try to deter you from using it against them!

Some levels have directional arrows that will only allow you to drag the birds in one direction, and the mischievous cats often kidnap birds and chain them up which requires you to make the first match to unchain the bird and the second time frees him. If this game still sounds easy, then maybe I forgot to tell you that every time you move a bird but aren't able to make a match, several new birds will hatch from the eggs that are also on the board! Sometimes the eggs are beneficial when you run out of the color of bird you need that are still blocking the keys, chests and artifacts on the board. You can place a bird of any color on top of an egg to get rid of it as well.

You need to read each level's goals because you might find all the keys and open all the chests, but still lose because the goal might be to unchain all chained birds, clear out 85% of the board or free less than 6 blue birds, as well as open all the chests or assemble the artifacts. You can replay the level as often as you want until you meet all of the goals. This game is addictive, so pull up a comfy computer chair, you're going to be playing for a while, enjoy! Show less

As other reviewers have said, C&F 2 is FUN and challenging, but without being frustrating. Even on some of the more difficult levels, where you have a certain amount of moves to obtain gold, I will stare at the screen for awhile, not sure of where I can move, but with a smile on my face knowing it will come to me, and I feel a real sense of accomplishment when it does!

The sound effects and music are just perfect for this game, and that also puts a smile on my face. LOVE IT!

It was released on BFG for two days before I noticed it, but when I did, I dropped everything I was doing and made time to play this wonderful and uplifting game! Show less

Okay, I will have to admit it, I am a hopeless addict of the original Claws & Feathers game and have been eagerly looking forward to the release of Claws & Feathers 2. I don't seem to be able to get through a day without playing a couple of levels in the game so you have no idea how happy I was to see that Claws 2 is finally here at Big Fish Games.

As much as I play the original Claws, I never realized until recently that I could turn off the tutorial - I guess it always pays to look carefully at the options - lol. As with the first game we can turn off the tutorial in Claws 2 if we don't think it is needed. I recommend keeping it on if you are new to the game - at least until you have learned all of its secrets.

In Claws & Feathers 2 we are pirates on a hunt for treasure so the theme is a bit different. Initially, I found the boards and colors not to be as sharp or as intense in the primary colors but I soon became used to the new style and look. I will say that in Claws2 the birds are insane and seem to multiply almost as if they are on steroids. I had fun just trying to surround them and eliminate them from the boards. Since I couldn't wait for the game and got it from the dev a couple of weeks ago, I have already made it to level 60 thus far and it still has more to come so the game is longer than the original.

Claws & Feathers 2 has a variety of challenges in its levels and in my first time through I was lucky if I could even complete some of the levels. In some ways the boards are trickier and a bit tougher than in the original and I like that since it keeps me on my toes and my brain working.

Claws & Feathers 2 is even better than the first game in the series and is sure to provide hours of fun and challenge. If you are a fan of Claws 1 then you are sure to love this game. IMHO, this is one of the best match 3 games on the market. As always, I recommend that you try the demo to see if this is a game you will enjoy! Show less

Have been waiting for this to come out since I Bata tested it. Really enjoy the characters of the birds and cats. A pleasant way to take a break or just sit back and relax. Need to pay attention to "eggs" about to hatch when placing birds and some levels are a bit challenging too.
Thank you Big Fish and thank you developers

Now back to playing Happy Happy Happy

C&F 2 - at last! Claws & Feathers really is a unique type of Match 3 game. I was thrilled when I saw a sequel had been released & bought it (with no hesitation) without even trialling it first. No regrets there! Well done, guys! :-)

Absolute delight! Got stumped more than once - thought it was (of course) a flaw in the game. NO TIMED challenges which turn me off, but timed moves (must complete in a certain number to get "the gold") - which I could have done without, but admittedly raises the challenge as well.

This game is so much fun. I suppose it qualifies as a match 3 game, but it is so much more. Tons of strategy and such a cute story. I even love the sound effects, which is so rare for me. I usually turn the sound off on match 3 games. I only hope they keep making these.
