Friendly ghosts are looking for new places to settle. They've found a beautiful valley by the sea, but seasons don't change there. Seasons should be recreated! A whole town is to be built for that purpose. Spring, Summer, Autumn and the Winter along with all of the weather effects for each season such as wind, rain, snow have to be recreated manually in Laruaville 3!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Match 3 series, those friendly ghosts are back and looking for a new place to call home. They have found a new place to lay their welcome mat down, problem is, there's no seasons, no clouds, no wind, no rain! First things first, we need to play Match 3 games to earn coins and help the ghosts solve yet another dilemma.
This game is available in a Relaxed, Limited Time and Limited Moves mode. I played the game on the Timed mode, and let me tell you, there were a couple of levels that I had to replay because I ran out of time! Keep this in mind when playing, it's all about the coins, don't worry about obstacles UNLESS they are standing in the way of getting to a coin. Coins are collected when you make at least a Match 3 adjacent to them, beside them, over them and directly below them. Some Coins are in half, requiring matches next to them to make the halves come together in a straight line. Eventually there are dirty coins that need a power up to clean, icy coins that require fire, molds to fill with gold to create coins, and coins with locks and keys that need joined, along with obstacles such as wood, vines, chains, fog, fur, ice, walls and stones.
Matches of 4 will give you a Star powerup that can be matched or double clicked on to make a small explosion, a Match 5 gives you Dynamite, a Match 6 gives you a Pack of Stars, and a Match 7 gives you a Pack of Dynamite. You can "move" the powerups by making matches above them to move them up, beside them, and below them too.
The money you earn allows you to build houses, and various buildings that will help the ghosts create seasons, clouds etc. The first thing you build is a Calendar which holds your Achievements and eventually let's you switch between seasons. After a few levels you get to play various types of Mini Games such as Mahjong and Spot The Difference, so get your Match 3 game on and enjoy! Show less

I have played several series loyally -- Fishdom and Jewel Match come quickly to mind -- but Laruaville is now also much a favorite. I played one and two in the series many times, and bought this version without even trying it out. I've only played 10 levels, and rarely write a review so quickly, but this is definitely another hit. A new difficulty is that several obstacle types can only be removed with exploding power-ups. Those can only be earned by making large matches. Often, there is no room for large matches near some of the obstacles, so you have to move the bombs, and the do not move very predictably. I think, but am not sure yet, that they only move when you create one or several empty cells next to them with a match or blast. Anyway, the game is fairly difficult already by level 10.
Like Laruaville 2, the story requires a suspension of disbelief about what "friendly ghosts" are capable of. Yet, within its own magical world, the story is consistent and logical. The characters are funny, and not too chatty, and the town building takes very little time.
The Mahjong and spot-the-difference mini-games are fun for variety, and seem to get progressively harder, as in earlier games of the series.
If you like Match-3 games at all, you should definitely give this one a try. Show less

The first Laruaville, and another FRH game Floria, have been favourites of mine since they came out, and Laruaville 3 takes an original idea to a new level. The basic gameplay is to collect coins, clear fog, etc. by making adjacent matches.
The really innovative bit is the use of bonuses. They are created in the usual way by matching 4 or more tiles, but can then be moved in any direction by making adjacent matches, or exploding another bonus nearby. On some levels the only way to clear obstacles is by manoeuvring a bonus near to them.
The story is unconvincing - the friendly ghosts are looking for a new place to live, the place they find is supposed to have no seasons or weather, but there are patches of snow on the ground! But that's not important, it's the play that's special.
There are also occasional levels of Mahjong, which I like, and Spot the difference, which I don't - both can be skipped.
The boards have a larger number of smaller tiles than a lot of games, so not so relaxing.
Highly recommended if you want to try a new kind of challenge.

We've met the people of Laruaville several times before. When we first met these wacky characters, we helped them to build a town. Next, we helped them find the moon. And now we're helping them rebuild another town but the area they've chosen has no seasons.

Relaxed, Timed and "x" Number of Moves are your choices of difficulty.
The game play is a typical match 3 with a twist. There are obstacles in the form of locked boxes, etc. but there are bonuses for matching 4 or more like items. And the fun doesn't stop there. Make matches so you can move a key across the line to the lock. NOT so easy - lol. There is also a mini game between levels.
I found this demo so relaxing to play and got my personal 'wow' factor at the end of the demo (WHAT????? OVER???? NO!!!!! NOT YET!!!). It's also a great standalone game, meaning you don't need to have played the previous games to 'get' the story .... but ...... it's be nice - smile. Great for all levels of experience and perfect for a quite evening, rain storm outside, or just a lazy sunny afternoon. A definite purchase for me ..... again.
Who knew you can actually build ............. seasons!!!???!?!?!?!

Another great Laruaville . The game is more challenging than the first two Laruavilles. The ghosts are trying to move to a new location, you have to help them along the way. There are half coins that you have to match up . New mini games to play, so much more to interact with. This game is a keeper.

This is an excellent addition to the Laruaville series, and by far the toughest! I played half of the demo in timed mode and the other half in limited move mode and found the boards challenging enough that I had to replay a few, even at that early stage! Graphics are gorgeous, characters as cute as ever. There's a lot to do on the boards, overcoming obstacles to get to the coins. Be careful of the boulders, which will drop down and block your coins (doh!) if you don't pay attention. A new touch is to bring two halves of a coin together, which is fun and power-ups are earned by matching 4 or more tiles.
There are two mini-games so far, Spot-the-Difference and Mahjong, both enjoyable. Show less
