I like this little game. It's fun to make something and find out how they work. I may buy it, but I'd want to try other games in this genre first.
The learning curve is steep, and the tutorial isn't particularly helpful. More information on the qualities of the different building materials would be helpful, and some explanation of what you have to do to get the different badges would be good. They ...Show more

I like this little game. It's fun to make something and find out how they work. I may buy it, but I'd want to try other games in this genre first.
The learning curve is steep, and the tutorial isn't particularly helpful. More information on the qualities of the different building materials would be helpful, and some explanation of what you have to do to get the different badges would be good. They could be made more achievable too. For example, the badge you get if you make a functional bridge for a certain cost, say $4000. In one of the tutorial levels, even if you make the bridge exactly to the tutorial's specifications, you can't meet that cost. I also spent about 50 minutes of the demo on the tutorial trying to work out what I had to do to get the necessary badges to advance to the next levels. This was irritating.
All in all this is a fun little game, but there are some issues that the developer needs to address. I would recommend that you try this game, but I'd wait to see if its problems get fixed before buying it. Show less

If you like physics type games and have a lot of patience you might enjoy this game. The game allows you free play to build with no limits, however you must earn badges to unlock further levels. Some badges are quite difficult to earn (especially ones that limit the amount of money that can be spent). If you like more challenging games and have the patience to keep building the same bridge 50 ...Show more

If you like physics type games and have a lot of patience you might enjoy this game. The game allows you free play to build with no limits, however you must earn badges to unlock further levels. Some badges are quite difficult to earn (especially ones that limit the amount of money that can be spent). If you like more challenging games and have the patience to keep building the same bridge 50 times to figure out how to earn all the badges for each level, you will probably enjoy this. If you have a lower patience level, I would recommend something else. Show less

While I found the concept interesting, I think this game needs some polishing to smooth out the rough edges. The tutorial left a LOT to be desired, given the steep learning curve…you're sort of thrown into gameplay without adequate information.

The idea is to build a bridge with a specific weight tolerance while staying within your budget, something I found exceedingly difficult after the first few levels. It would have helped to know the structural specs of the materials and how much they cost.

It was hard to find the perfect balance between spending money and creating a sturdy bridge. If I built on the cheap, my bridge failed. If I built a solid bridge, I exceeded my budget. I'm sure there was a sweet spot for each level, but I didn't have the information to find it.

The game mechanics could have been designed better. Left click was used to attach materials to anchor points, one after the other. Right click to stop building or to delete a previously-built segment. The issue is that it was rare to build multiple segments from the same material, so the "building in series" design was more annoying than helpful. And I accidentally deleted segments when I merely wanted to stop the series and switch materials.

Once you've managed to build a bridge, it's time to test it by choosing a vehicle to cross the bridge. You get more points if your bridge can support a truck, less for a car. I did like this part, because it let me see exactly where the flaws in my design were, and where I needed more or less support.

Graphics were mixed in style. The backgrounds were standard Unity-generated shapes while the game elements were more cartoonish. I turned off the music, which doesn't affect my rating since the music for these types of games is generally repetitive and annoying.

My recommendation for fishies is to try the demo, as you might like it. My recommendation for the dev is to change the game mechanics, create a better tutorial, and present more information about materials, goals, badges, and the like. If the design were better, I would buy it. Show less

It did not seem to matter where I clicked. Clicking on the little round ends of the line sections maybe made the lines surrounding disappear, but not always.

After you built a bridge, you had to patiently wait for cars or trucks to drive over the bridges to test them. Boring.

After a few levels, I had fun dumping some trucks into a ravine. I knew they were gonna fall because the newly-constructed bridge was light green and wiggling. That was the coolest part of the game. Seven year old boys would love dumping the trucks in the ravine.

Really annoying music. Graphics cute and sort of fit the game.

There are awards and badges to be won. I did not continue playing long enough to learn about them.

Sorry, fellows, it's a no buy for me. Show less

I suppose if you enjoy autocad drawing, this game would be right up your alley, but I was bored before I finished the Tutorial levels. Basically you are tasked with building a bridge from point A to Point B, using different materials to accomplish your goal. Each type of material has it's strengths and weaknesses, and you will have to decide which materials will be appropriate for each scenario, Concrete is the strongest but costs more, Cables can be used when there is a large span to cover, Steel beams are stronger than wood etc. You can incorporate Triangles, or even suspension type bridges depending on the area of construction, and right clicking any section will undo that element section. Once you have completed the bridge you click on the Play or Test icon and then choose Autos or Semi's to see if the bridge holds (semis yield more points because they are heavier) and you can earn up to 5 Badges for each level. Any level can be replayed to achieve a better rating. Show less

I did the tutorial and then could not get past choosing 2nd region to play the next level as it would not let me out of the menu.As far as the game itself- its boring and not worth trying to figure out the challenge really.

I don't recommend this game.
