Another fantastic edition of Strike Solitaire with beautiful locations such as Sunset Beach, Babbling Brook, Palm Island, Golden Bay, Chrysanthemum Garden and lot's more. The object of this solitaire game is to make matches of cards regardless of the suit. Gold cards get 1 point and if you remove all gold cards before the cards are returned to the deck you get a strike. Just as in bowling, if you get a strike, the score from the next frame will be added to the points from the current frame. Removing cards fills the multiplier bar and the more cards you remove the higher the multiplier becomes. The money you earn can be used in the shop to purchase an additional card slot (from 2 slots to 3) an extra shuffle, or another Joker which can be matched with any card. There are two modes of difficulty, Junior which allows you to replay any frame and Pro which will only allow you to replay an entire match. You must complete the first lane in the Junior mode before switching to Pro. What are you waiting for? Go have some fun and enjoy! Show less

This is an awesome game for match two cards solitaire. Some don't get the premise of this type of strategy. I get tired of the old higher-lower types and this match two cards is refreshing to play. The strategy involves getting all the GOLD pins before your deck runs out. They are the only cards that count in your score even though you do get cash for other matches. This game involves a bowling attitude. You get 2 balls per frame just like in real bowling. Your ball is represented as a complete deck of cards which is your draw pile. Try to knock down as many pins which is represented as the gold cards as you can. When you strike, the next two balls will be added to your score in the present frame. When you spare, the next one ball will be added. A perfect score in bowling is 300 which means you have to strike in every frame. Don't worry though because you only have to bowl a 100 in order to unlock a new level. This is fairly easy in junior bowling because you can repeat each frame as many times as you need to improve your score. In the professional mode you will have to restart at the beginning of your game and forfeit any previous frames at that resort. Each game has 10 frames and your score will depend if you get a strike which is matching all the gold cards on your first turn of the deck or whether it will take two turns of the deck which will give you a spare. If you leave any pins on the board after two turns of the deck you will just complete that frame and no extra points will be added. After the 10th frame your final tally will determine if you can travel to the next resort playing if you pass the required score. Don't worry they give you plenty of money to earn to buy some useful power-ups each time you replay a frame if you want to improve it's score. So there is a range of difficulty to master in junior vs. professional and tons of fun trying to get strikes and spares. Try not to throw a gutter ball after one of those coveted strikes or spares because that makes a big difference in your score. I understand some of the low reviews only because it might be just like the previous strike solitaire one and two, but how can you improve on perfection? Well I guess they could of varied the game to a higher, lower type in one of their games or maybe added some trophies for strikes and spares. I'm not sure if this game offers trophies, forgot to check since I'm just having a blast just bowling. Glad there aren't any useless stories attached to this game or annoying goals per frame. I can just concentrate on achieving a perfect score because sometimes I'm not in the mood for booby traps and a lot of reading. I just want to bowl. I think most will enjoy this game if they know bowling, If you don't, it's easy to learn, I hope I explained the gist of it in the review. I did purchase this game but don't remember if they have a help section in-game explaining the rules because I already knew how to bowl and how the scoring is tallied so I didn't look for it. I hope you try this game enjoying it at the perspective of being in a bowling alley trying to bowl a perfect game, whoo hoo, lets get some strikes. Show less

When I saw this edition of Strike Solitaire (3) I thought, Great, Something new! Maybe the Devs have come up with
a whole new game . Awhile ago I bought Strike 2 and like it. No story line but interesting card play with some good challenges and power-ups you can buy. Nothing exciting but nice and relaxing play.
I just downloaded this version and what a big let down.

I played it about 10 minutes which was long enough to see there's no difference between the two games. The music is the same, the scenery is so much like Strike 2 it's boring.
The extras you can buy = power-ups are the same. I really don't understand why the developers weren't more creative. From what I saw and played it's little more than just giving the old version a new name. This is definitely a No buy for me as I already have the same game in Solitaire Strike 2 Seaside Season.
I only recommend this game if you don't have the previous version. You don't need both!

If you own #1 or 2 of this series then you don't need to waste your money on this one. It's exactly the same with a few new pictures stuck into the background. How about a little originality developers? You've beaten this one to death.

There was absolute nothing about this game that grabbed me.
I did not understand the title: 3 Dream Resort. What "Resort" was it referring to, much less what "Dream Resort:?
The game was based on the game of bowling. You played 10 "frames"/games, trying to get your best score for each "frame"hand.

All you do is match cards - 5 and a 5, 4 and a 4, etc. There are gold cards that if matched get you money money/points, which you can spend at the shop for various bonuses.
The music wasn't even "resort" relaxing music. I'm not sure what kind of music it was supposed to be.
There was no story (if there would have been it would have bumped up the game tremendously), no bonus levels, mini games or anything else to break up the monotony of playing endless rounds of the same game of solitaire.
What I LIKED:
The demo finally ended.
Obviously, not a purchase for me, nor will I recommend as there are much better solitaire games on the BFG site. Show less

I will not be buying this Game and it is the first time I have not bought BFG Solitaire, not even for 2 for 1 price or free coupon is is worth my time. The store with high price has 3 choices. The graphics are boring. I have bought every solitaire Game BFG offers enjoy them but when the demo ended I knew I would be uninstalling this gutterball of a game! Try Avalon legend Solitaire instead.

Based on 23 minutes of the demo. This might be the worst solitaire game ever. You can only match same to same, no building, no runs, no strategy available! Sometimes there are bonus so you can buy more things in the store, and sometimes the game makes different sounds, but none of it makes any sense. "Winning" or "losing" is by pure chance. Ugh! Not for me.
