Whether you use this document as a reference when things get difficult or as a road map to get you from beginning to end, we’re pretty sure you’ll find what you’re looking for here. This document features a helpful introduction and a complete Autumn’s Treasures: The Jade Coin game walkthrough, with annotated screenshots from actual gameplay! INTRODUCTION

GAME OVERVIEW

This game has nine chapters total. Each chapter has several scenes and a couple of puzzles between each chapter.
The premise of this game is to find hidden pieces in the scene to complete the items in silhouette at the bottom of the page.
Once the items have been completed you need to use them in other areas in the scene.
The game does not make you complete scenes and puzzles in a certain amount of time, but it does keep track of how long you’ve been playing. However, it adds or subtracts time to your overall playing time depending on your actions.
If you complete a puzzle without skipping it, the game deducts two minutes from your overall time. If you use a hint, the game adds five minutes to your total.
Each scene has different doors that you can travel through to access other areas. Some of these doors may need to be unlocked before you enter through them.
New pieces appear constantly in the scenes. The broken pieces will not be in a scene until you unlock them.

INVENTORY ITEMS/BROKEN PIECES

At the bottom of the screen you will have a picture of the items you need to look for in the scene. Those items will be broken into several pieces throughout the scene.
Make sure that you scroll through your inventory items by using the arrow on either end of the box so you can see all your available items.
Each time you complete an item, the green bar in the lower right corner will become fuller. The greener the meter is, the closer you are to completing that chapter.

HINTS

To obtain a hint in the game, you have to click on the red amulet in the lower right corner. Then, you have to click on the item you want to find, and it will show you where the item is.
A beam of light will shine on the item that you need to pick up. If the item is in a different room, the game will automatically take you to the room in which the item is located.
Each time you use a hint, the locket will be discharged. As soon as the locket is completely red, it will be ready for use again.
If you don’t want to use a hint, you can click on the silhouetted (incomplete) item at the bottom of the page, and the game will show you exact images of the broken items you need to find.
Each hint you use will add five minutes to your cumulative playing time.

PUZZLES

There are several puzzles in the game. You can choose to skip a puzzle if you do not wish to play it, but you have to wait for the hint button to be green before you do.
If you don’t understand the instructions for a puzzle, just click on the help tab located in the lower left corner of the scene.

WALKTHROUGH

In the walkthrough all the broken pieces will be highlighted in the screenshots, since they always stay in the same place.
The item in inventory will be highlighted in a particular color. The fragmented pieces for that item will be highlighted in the same color in the scene.
This walkthrough contains solutions to all the puzzles in the game. The results should be the same for everyone.

CHAPTER 1 – SEATTLE, USA

HANGER & JOURNAL PIECES

When you first enter the scene, the game asks you to click on the hammer piece that is in the lower right corner.
It will then take you to another room to get the last piece of the hammer.
Go back to the front of the store and use the hammer on the portrait that is on the back wall.
Once the hammer is used, a safe will appear on the wall in place of the picture. Two new items will be added to your inventory.
The fragmented items can be found in either room, please look at the screenshots for the location of all the broken pieces.
Once you put the journal pieces together, they will automatically go into the lower right corner of the scene. You can use the journal to read entries and clues about your next tasks.

USE HANGER

Go into the back room and place the hanger on the chain that is hanging in the center of the ceiling.
Once the hanger goes on the chain, you will see that something fell on the pile of litter on the floor. You will now have to look for the broom pieces in the scene.

BROOM AND NOTE PIECES

USE BROOM

Go in the back room and place the broom on the pile of litter that is on the floor. The game will now ask you to find the magnet pieces.

FIND MAGNET PIECES/ USE MAGNET

The first two screenshots show you the location of the magnet pieces.

Once the magnet pieces have been found, go to the back room and place the magnet on the crack on the floor. You will now be asked to find the pieces of a key.

KEY PIECES

KEY AND NOTE USAGE

Go to the front of the store and place the note and the key on the safe and you will be automatically taken to a puzzle.

KEY PUZZLE

The note you picked up had several symbols on it: star, star, square, circle. The key has the same symbols on it.
Click on the symbols in the following order, from left to right:STAR STAR SQUARE CIRCLE
Once the puzzle has been solved, the safe will open; click on the paper that is inside the safe.

JOURNAL PAGES & PLASTIC EYE PIECES

PLACE PLASTIC EYES

Put the plastic eyes on the skull that is on the counter in the front of the store.
Grab the journal piece that appears on the skull after the eyes have been placed.

CHAPTER 1 PUZZLE

Grab a journal scrap from the left side of the page and place it on the right side of the journal.
The pieces will automatically stick to the page when they are placed correctly.

CHAPTER 2 – BROOKLY, USA

HACKSAW PIECES & USAGE

This screenshot shows you the location of all the hacksaw pieces.
Once the hacksaw has been assembled, place it on the padlock that is on the door and it will open the door.

PALLET JACK PIECES & USAGE

All the pallet jack pieces are highlighted in green in the screenshot.
Once all the pallet jack pieces have been found, use it on the barrels that are blocking the entrance.

STEPLADDER, EXTENSION CORD, HOOKS & LIGHTS PIECES

There are four pieces that you need to find in this scene. Use the arrows on the inventory box so you can see all the items you need to look for.

USE LADDER, CORD, HOOKS & LIGHTS

On the ceiling inside the freight car you will see some chains. Place the stepladder on the chains, followed by the hooks, the fluorescent lights, and the extension cord in that order.

FUSE

You will now be asked to find the fuse in the scene. The fuse is on the right side of the freight car.

Go back to the scrap yard and place the fuse in the fusebox on the upper right side of the scene.

CLAY STAR PIECES

CLAY STAR PLACEMENT

Go back inside the freight car once all the clay pieces have been found and place the star on the vase that is in the back of the scene.

JAR LID PUZZLE

The rule of this game is very simple; all you have to do is match the shapes that are on the lid to the pieces that are scattered on the field.
Once the right piece has been dragged into place, the shapes on top of the jar will disappear.
The pieces do not have to face in the same manner as the one on the jar; all you have to do is make sure that they have the same shapes in the same places.

BALLERINA, PAGE, GEARS & EGG PIECES

GEAR & BALLERINA PLACEMENT

Grab the gears and place them on the music box that is in the back of the scene.
Next, place the ballerina on the music box and you will be asked to find journal pieces.

The journal pieces are highlighted in green in the screenshot.
Place the Faberge egg on the stand that is on the lower right side of the scene. You will be asked to find two more journal pieces after the egg is on the stand.

CHAPTER 2 PUZZLE

CHAPTER 3 – EVERGLADES, USA

OAR & DOLL PIECES

Once you arrive in Guatemala you will be taken to the storefront. There will be several locations you can visit.
If you place your cursor on the steps located on the left side, you will be taken to the dock.
If you go inside the door on the right, you will go inside the store.
Please look at all three screenshots to see the locations of all the items.

OAR USAGE

Use the oar on the alligator that is in the water by the dock and you will be asked to find the fishing rod and fishing net pieces. You will also be asked to find pieces for the grappling hook and tether post.

ROD, NET, POST & HOOK PIECES

NET AND FISHING ROD USAGE

Grab the net from inventory and place it on the gold shimmer that is in the water by the dock.
Grab the fishing rod from inventory and place it on the “gold shimmer with fishing net” that is in the water.
A gold box will appear on the dock, and you will be asked to find a key.

TETHER POST & GRAPPLING HOOK USAGE

Drag the tether post from inventory and place it on the canoe that is in the water.
Place the grappling hook from inventory on the canoe; the canoe will move closer to the edge of the dock.

NATIVE DOLL USAGE

Give the native doll to the dog in the lower right corner of the storefront, and you will be asked to find the parts of the native blanket.

GOLD KEY, BLANKET & PAGE PIECES

GOLD KEY/ GOLD BOX

Use the gold key on the gold box that is on the dock, and a new box will appear. You will be asked to find a silver key.

SILVER KEY PIECE & NATIVE BLANKET USAGE

Grab the silver key that is on the canoe by the storefront and it will go into inventory.
Place the native blanket on the shopkeeper that is on the chair by the storefront. You will now have to find the arrowhead, spear, and blue heron pieces.

SILVER KEY USAGE

Go to the dock and place the silver key on the silver box. You will be asked to find an onyx key.

ONYX KEY PIECE & USAGE

Go inside of the storefront and pick up the onyx key that is on the lower right side of the scene.

Go back to the dock and place the onyx key on the onyx box and you will be asked to find the last piece of the journal.

JOURNAL, ARROWHEADS, LONG SPEAR & FEATHER PIECES

BLUE HERON FEATHER PLACEMENT

Place the blue heron feather on the cap of the shopkeeper that is in front of the storefront and you will be asked to find the journal page.

ARROWHEAD & LONG SPEAR PLACEMENT

Place the long spear on the alligator skull that is on the upper right corner of the scene.
Place the arrowheads on the carving that is inside of the store, and a puzzle will appear.

CHAPTER 3 PUZZLE

CHAPTER 4 – GUATEMALA

MAYAN KNIFE PIECES

You will begin this scene at the ruins, but you can also access other areas. You can go up the steps to access the inner ruins. You can go into the gift shop by entering on the left side of the screen.
The screenshot shows you the locations of all the Mayan knife pieces. One of them is on the ground in the ruins. The other piece is inside the gift shop.

USE MAYAN KNIFE

Go up the steps of the ruins and place the Mayan knife on the branch of the tree on the left. You will now have to find the parts of the taser pistol.

TASER PISTOL PIECES

The taser pistol pieces are located on the field in the ruins.
Use the taser on the remote control that is on the lower right side of the scene, next to the man on the ground.

MANGO, CAGE, EGG FRUIT & BOLA PIECES

CAGE & MANGO USAGE

Place the angry coati in the cage; then give it the mango from inventory.

EGG FRUIT & NET USAGE

Give the hungry coati the egg fruit, and it will get off the ground.
Give the agile coati on the tree the net from inventory.

BOLA USAGE

Give the shy coati the bola from inventory, and it will drop the artifact.

PERSIAN BOX, TILE, CLAY FIGURE & LAMP PIECES

TILE USAGE

Place the tiles on the puzzle that is on the monument and you will get a closer view of the puzzle.

TILE PUZZLE

Your goal in this puzzle is to fill in the empty spaces with the right tiles. You cannot have the same tile in the same row or column.
Grab a tile and put it where you want it to go. If you want to change a tile from its location, simply drag it to another spot.

STORE KEY

Once you finish the tile puzzle you will be asked to find the store key. The store key is on the tree.

STORE KEY USAGE

Go back to the gift store; place the store key on the door in the back of the scene, and a crate will appear.

CROWBAR

The two crowbar pieces are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.
Place the crowbar on the crate that is in the back of the store.

DRILL PIECES

DRILL USAGE

Use the completed drill on the metal box that is inside of the gift shop. You will be asked to find the iron sword and the iron helm pieces.

IRON SWORD & HELM PIECES

HELM & SWORD USAGE

Give the Iron helm and the iron sword to the statue of Leonidas that is in the back of the gift shop.

GEARS

The gear pieces are circled in yellow in the screenshot. Once all the pieces have been found, place the gears on the door lock that is on the iron door.

GEARS PUZZLE

Your goal in this puzzle is to drag the gears into the right spots.
A gear will not lock into place, even if it’s in the right spot. Once all the locks are in place, the gears will start moving.

PUT ITEMS INTO CRATE/ JOURNAL PAGE

Pick up the journal page that is on the upper right side of the scene. It is circled in green in the screenshot.
Place the Persian box, the clay figure, and the halter lamp into the crane that is in the lower left side of the gift shop.
You will be asked to find five more journal pieces. Please look at the screenshot.

CHAPTER 4 PUZZLE

CHAPTER 5 – EGYPT

AXE PIECES & USAGE

Pick up the two axe pieces that are on the island.
Use the axe on the covered pit that is on the right side of the scene and an empty pit will show up in that spot.

WOODEN POLES, PULLEY & VINE PIECES

GO INTO THE PIT

In the following order, place the wooden poles, the pulley, and the vines into the empty pit.
You will now have access to a new area.

SCARAB PIECES

Find all the scarab pieces; then place the scarab on the chains that are on the left side of the scene.
Once the scarab is placed, a firebowl will appear on the chains. You will now have to find the coal pieces in the scene.

COAL PIECES

Use the elevator on the left side of the scene to go back up to the island.
Please look at the two screenshots for the location of all the coal pieces.
Once the coal has been collected, place it on the firebowl and a second “firebowl with coal” will appear on the right side of the scene.

FLINT, STEEL & TINDER PIECES

After you find the flint, steel, and tinder pieces, place them on the “firebowls with coal” and you will be asked to find the clay tile pieces in the scene.

CLAY TILE PIECES

After you collect all the tile pieces, place them on the puzzle that is in the back of the scene and a puzzle will appear.

TILE PUZZLE

Your goal in this puzzle is to slide the pieces into place until you form the correct picture.
Just click on a tile that has an empty space next to it, and the tile that you clicked will move into the empty space.
Keep in mind that the tile in the upper right corner has to be empty in order to complete the puzzle.

JOURNAL, FLAIL & SCEPTER PIECES

PLACE THE FLAIL & SCEPTER ON PHARAOH

Give the flail and the scepter to the pharaoh, and you will be asked to find the column pieces.

COLUMN PIECES

Once all the column pieces have been found, place them on the location where the pharaoh was originally.
Once the column is in place, you will be asked to find the vase pieces.

VASE PIECES

Find all the pieces of the vase, and fill it water from the island.
Once the vase is full of water, take it back to the tomb and place it on the column trigger. You will now have to look for a key.

KEY

Find the key located in the upper right corner of the scene.

Go back upstairs to the island and you will see a secret compartment rise up from the ground. Place the key on the secret compartment, and it will open.
Find the rare coins hidden in the scene.

FIND RARE COINS

Please find all the rare coins hidden in this location.
Give the rare coins to the merchant that is on the island.

JOURNAL PARTS

CHAPTER 5 PUZZLE

CHAPTER 6 – PARIS, FRANCE

CHEESE

After you find all the cheese pieces, give them to the man standing in front of the door and he will go away.

CROWBAR

The crowbar is underneath the door; grab it and place it on the manhole cover located in the center of the ground.

Once all the numbers and letters have been found, place them on the back wall.

LIGHTER & HEATER PIECES

Place the kitchen lighter and the heater parts on the heater that is in the back of the room.

CIRCUIT LIGHTS & CIRCUIT PIPE PIECES

Place the circuit lights and the circuit pipes on the grid that is on the back wall.

VALVE PUZZLE

Your goal in this game is to open four valves without having any of them cross each other.
Each time you click on a valve you will see water flow out of it. Make sure that the next valve you connect does not cross with the water stream from another valve.
If you click an incorrect valve, a red light will flash and you will have to start over.

VALVE PIECES

Place the valves on the pipes in the back of the scene, and steam will start coming out of the pipes. You have to find the wrench in the scene.

PIPE WRENCH PIECES

Place the pipe wrench on the burst of steam that is coming out of the pipes. You will now have access to the alchemist’s lab.

DOLL, CLOCK, POTION VIALS & POTION STAND PIECES

ALCHEMIST’S LAB

Place the potion stand and the potion vials on the table located in the alchemist’s lab.
Place the clock part on the clock reaper that is on the top left side of the back wall in the alchemist’s lab.
The doll parts go on the nested dolls that are on the table in the lab.

GEMS, LONG MATCH, BELLOWS & JOURNAL PIECES

PLACE ITEMS IN THE CRUCIBLE

Place the long match, followed by the bellows on the crucible that is in the lab. Now add the gems to the crucible and a puzzle will open up.

GEM PUZZLE

Your goal is to add the right colors to the coals so you can duplicate the colors of each gem that is on top of the scene.
To mix colors, simply click on two vials and they will mix. If your mixture is correct, the gems will light up.
Mix the following colors to solve the puzzle:Yellow and Red = Orange Yellow and Blue = Green Red and Blue = Purple

REPAIR KIT PIECES

There are two locations available right away. You can click on the door on the left to enter the shrine.
Place the repair kit on the backpack that is on the floor outside of the shrine.

TEA SERVICE & KINDLING PIECES

Place the kindling and the tea service on the stone dais outside.

TELESCOPE, DUCT TAPE & CAMERA PIECES

Place the camera, the telescope, and the duct tape on the scenic view that is inside of the shrine and you will be taken to a puzzle.

CAMERA MINI-GAME

Use the camera’s viewfinder to take five pictures of the mysterious person.
You can only take a picture when you see the green frame on the background. If it is red, it means that it is out of focus.
The center of the lens has to be on the person in order to take the picture.

TRANQUILIZER GUN PIECES

Give the tranquilizer gun to the guide that is standing on the left side of the shrine.

PRAYER WHEELS, ELEPHANT & JOURNAL PIECES

PRAYER WHEEL PLACEMENT

Put the prayer wheel on the wheel frame that is on the right side of the shrine.

ELEPHANT

Place the elephant on the broken statue that is outside.

INCENSE, BELL, CUSHION, SCROLLS & JOURNAL PIECES

Go to the chambers and place the incense, the bells, the scrolls, and the cushion on the meditation area that is on the floor.

MIMIC GRAMPA

In this mini-game, you have to choose the Buddha that has the same positions as Grampa.
Simply click on the correct Buddha, and Grampa will come back with a new pose.
Look at the positions of the hands. Most buddhas in a row are holding at least one hand in the same position.

WINCH PIECES

Place the winch on the gears that are on the left side of the warehouse.

BOLT CUTTERS & JOURNAL PIECES

Place the bolt cutters on the chains that are wrapped around the man in the warehouse.

MASK PIECES

Place the mask piece on the mask that the man on the chair is wearing.

MANACLE KEY PIECES

Place the manacle key on the manacles encircling the wrists of the man in the chair.

MANUAL PIECES

Give the manual to the man in the chair.

DIFFUSE THE BOMB

Your goal in this game is to place the wires according to the order in the manual.
Click on two wires and they will swap places. Place the wires in the following order, from left to right:GREEN YELLOW BLACK WHITE BLUE RED ORANGE PURPLE
Once the bomb has been diffused, the man will be free to go.

COMBINATION & TELESCOPE PIECES

Place the combination on the safe in the office, and it will open up. The game will ask you to find some more journal pieces.

EVIDENCE & JOURNAL PIECES

Give the man in the warehouse the evidence from inventory.

COMPLETE THE EVIDENCE PARTS

Give the man in the office the evidence you just found.
Place the telescope on the telescope stand that is by the window in the office.

CONSTELLATION PIECES

Place the constellations on the Chinese screen in the office and you will find a lantern behind it.

FIREFLIES

Place the fireflies on the lantern in the office and you will have access to the temple.

EVIDENCE PIECES

Give the man in the temple the evidence and you will be asked to find even more evidence.

EVIDENCE PIECES

Give the man in the temple the extra evidence you just found.

FOUR GODS & JOURNAL PIECES

Place the four gods on the altar.

CROWN, FAN & JADE LOTUS PIECES

JADE ITEMS

Place the jade crown, the jade fan, and the jade lotus on the jade emperor that is inside the temple.

MAHJONG TILE PUZZLE

The goal in this game is to complete the images on both triangles.

JOURNAL PIECE

JADE COIN

Collect the jade coin pieces and give them to Gramps who is in the temple.

CHAPTER 9 – BOSTON, USA

HAMMER, CROWBAR & KEY PIECES

Place the hammer and crowbar on the crate that is out in the hall.
Put the closet keys on the cabinet that is in the back of the storage room.

SONS OF HORUS, LETTER, AND ANKH PIECES

Give the ankh to the Goddess of Justice that is out in the hall.
Place the four sons of Horus on the altar that is in the back of the hall.

ANCIENT DAGGER & JADE AMULET PIECES

Place the ancient dagger on the secret compartment that is in the storage room, below the cat statue. An iron box will appear on top of the crate in the storage room.

JADE AMULET PIECES

Place the jade amulet and the golden amulet on the iron casket that is on the crate in the storage room, and a puzzle will appear.

TRIANGLE PUZZLE

Arrange the triangular pieces so they all fit comfortably in the box.
The pieces will not lock into place until they have been properly placed.

SCARAB PIECES

Place the scarab on the closed book that is on the right edge of the scene in the hall.

LETTER, CARTOUCHE, AND PAPYRUS PIECES

OPEN BOOK

Place the cartouche and the papyrus on the open book that is on the right edge of the scene in the hall.
