General Tips
- This is the official guide for Christmas Stories: Puss in Boots.
- This guide will not mention each time you have to zoom into a location; the screenshots will show each zoom scene.
- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. This guide will not show HOP solutions. It will identify the location of the HOP and the inventory item acquired.
- This guide will show solutions for non-random puzzles. Please read the in-game instructions for each puzzle.
Chapter 1: Santa
- Talk to Simon (A); play the HOP.
- Select pairs (color-coded) (1-3).
- Talk to Santa; earn the TORN PICTURE (B).
- Restore the TORN PHOTO to make the PHOTO (inventory).
- Take SIMON (C).
- Take the 1st RING (D).
- Use SIMON; take the SNOWBALLS and 2nd RING (E).
- Talk to the Kitten; earn the TORN BEAR (F).
- Take the COIN; place the 2 RINGS (G).
- Solution (H).
- Walk right.
- Use the PHOTO (I).
- Find the differences (green).
- Select (J).
- Use SIMON; earn 1/2 WEIGHT (K).
- Read the note; take the CAT AMULET (L).
- Take the NEEDLE AND THREAD and the 1st BULB (M).
- Use the COIN, open the door, and take the BEAR'S PAW (N).
- You earn the 1/2 COIN.
- Combine the TORN BEAR, BEAR'S PAW, and NEEDLE AND THREAD to make the BEAR (inventory).
- Walk down.
- Give the BEAR; earn the MITTEN (P).
- Walk right.
- Use the MITTEN; take the SHARD OF GLASS (Q).
- Use the SHARD OF GLASS (R).
- Take the CLOCK HANDS and 2nd BULB (S).
- Walk down.
- Place the 2 BULBS (red).
- Use the SNOWBALLS (A).
- Select a snowball (B); select the gift (C) when the meter is in the bar (D); do this 3x.
- You earn the GIFT.
- Open the GIFT to find the SOLDIER (inventory).
- Give the SOLDIER; earn the 2/2 WEIGHT (F).
- Walk right.
- Place the CLOCK HANDS and 2 WEIGHTS; set to 12:00 (G).
- Walk forward.
- Select the Barista Cat (H).
- Take the 1/2 SQUIRREL and MATCHES (I).
- Take the 1/3 STAR and the 2/2 SQUIRREL (J).
- Take SANTA'S HAT (K); use SIMON to take the SPARKLER KIT (L).
- Walk down 2x.
- Place the 2 SQUIRRELS, open the door, and take the SPARKLER AMULET (M).
- Combine the SPARKLER KIT and SPARKLER AMULET; take the SPARKLERS (inventory).
- Walk right and forward.
- Use the SPARKLERS and MATCHES (N); open the door.
- Talk to Birthday Cat (O); take the FEATHER DUSTER (P).
- Select each feather of the FEATHER DUSTER to make DUSTY (inventory).
- Walk down.
- Use DUSTY (R).
- Play the HOP; earn the SANTA FIGURINE (S).
- Walk down.
- Give the SANTA FIGURINE; earn the GINGERBREAD MAN (T).
- Walk right and forward.
- Place the GINGERBREAD MAN; adjust to fit, and turn the handle (A).
- Walk forward.
- Select the pile 3x; talk to Confectioner Cat to earn the 1st CUPCAKE ICON (B).
- Take the SPOON (C).
- Take the TONGS (D).
- Take the 2nd CUPCAKE ICON and RED LOLLIPOP; use the TONGS to take the CORKSCREW (E).
- Place and press the 2 CUPCAKE ICON (F).
- Take the VALERIAN BOTTLE and BIRTHDAY CANDLES (G).
- Combine the VALERIAN BOTTLE, CORKSCREW, and SPOON to make the SPOONFUL O' VALERIAN (inventory).
- Give the SPOONFUL O' VALERIAN; earn the CAKE TOPPER (H).
- Place the CAKE TOPPER; take the HANDLE (I).
- Walk down.
- Place and use the HANDLE; take SANTA'S HAND (J).
- Walk forward.
- Place SANTA'S HAT and SANTA'S HAND; select the hand (K).
- Play the HOP; earn the BLUE LOLLIPOP (L).
- Place the RED LOLLIPOP and BLUE LOLLIPOP (M).
- Play the randomly generated match-3 (N).
- Fill the meter (O).
- You receive the CAKE.
- Combine the CAKE, BIRTHDAY CANDLES, and MATCHES to make the BIRTHDAY CAKE (inventory).
- Walk down.
- Give the BIRTHDAY CAKE; earn the ROPE LADDER (Q).
- Walk forward.
- Place the ROPE LADDER (R).
- Go forward.
Chapter 2: The Toy Factory
- Take the 2/3 STAR (A).
- Take the 3/3 STAR (B).
- Use SIMON; take the CAT FIGURINE (C).
- Place the 3 STARS; open the doors (D).
- Talk to Gift Shop Cat; earn the CANDY CANE (E).
- Use the CANDY CANE; take the 2/2 COIN (F).
- Use the 2 COINS; earn the PAINT (G).
- Place the CAT FIGURINE and PAINT (H).
- Use the brush; paint the cat to match (I).
- Walk left.
- Use SIMON (J).
- Take the 1/5 COIN (K).
- Take the 2/5 COIN (L).
- Read the note; take the MUG and 3/5 COIN (M).
- Walk down 3x.
- Give the MUG; earn the COFFEE AMULET (N).
- Walk forward.
- Place the COFFEE AMULET; take the 4/5 COIN and the BALL (O).
- Go forward and left.
- Place the BALL (P).
- Solution (Q).
- Take the COFFEE BEANS, SMALL BOX, and POWDER BOX (R).
- Place, open, and select the POWDER BOX (S).
- Press 3-2-1.
- Take the 5/5 COIN (T).
- Walk down.
- Use the 5 COINS; earn the MILK (U).
- Walk down 2x.
- Open the doors; place the COFFEE BEANS and MILK; earn the COFFEE (A).
- Walk forward 2x; go left.
- Use the COFFEE (B).
- Walk down.
- Talk to Master Cat; earn the 0/6 TOOLBOX and SEARCH LENS (C).
- Walk down 4x.
- Use the SEARCH LENS; take the 1/6 TOOLBOX (D).
- Walk right.
- Use the SEARCH LENS; take the 2/6 TOOLBOX (E).
- Walk forward.
- Use the SEARCH LENS; take the 3/6 TOOLBOX (F).
- Walk forward.
- Use the SEARCH LENS; take the 4/6 TOOLBOX (G).
- Go forward.
- Use the SEARCH LENS; take the 5/6 TOOLBOX (H).
- Walk left.
- Use the SEARCH LENS; take the 6/6 TOOLBOX (I).
- Walk down.
- Use the TOOLBOX (J).
- Take the PLANE (K).
- Open the PLANE; take the 10 DUCATS (inventory).
- Use the 10 DUCATS; earn the BOOK (L).
- Walk left.
- Place the BOOK (M).
- Play the HOP; earn the SPYGLASS (N).
- Walk down 5x.
- Give the SPYGLASS; earn the GOLDEN ROPE (O).
- Return to the Toy Quarter.
- Use the GOLDEN ROPE and SIMON (P).
- Select (Q).
- Play 5 mini-HOPs (red).
- Take the 1st CRACKER AMULET (A).
- Take the BOTTLE (B).
- Take the 2nd CRACKER AMULET (C).
- Take the 3rd CRACKER AMULET (D).
- Combine the SMALL BOX and the 3 CRACKER AMULETS; take the CRACKER (inventory).
- Use the CRACKER; select pairs (color-coded). Take the HOUSE KEY (E).
- Use the HOUSE KEY (F); select 1-4.
- Walk forward.
- Use SIMON; earn the 1st ANGEL (G).
- Take the BROKEN ANGEL (H).
- Take the TRUMPET and NUTS (I).
- Walk down.
- Place the NUTS; take the KNOB (J).
- Walk forward.
- Take the ANGEL WINGS (K).
- Place the KNOB; take the GLUE (L).
- Combine the BROKEN ANGEL, TRUMPET, ANGEL WINGS, and GLUE to make the 2nd ANGEL (INVENTORY).
- Place the 2 ANGELS; open the lid (M).
- Play the HOP; earn the PICTURE (N).
- Place the PICTURE (O).
- Select differences (red).
- Take PUSS'S DIARY (P).
- Open PUSS'S DIARY; take the RECIPE (inventory).
- Walk down.
- Place the RECIPE; take the THORN (A).
- Place the RECIPE; take the SNOW LILY (B).
- Place the RECIPE; take the RED FLOWER (C).
- Walk down 2x.
- Place the RECIPE; take the MINT LEAVES (D).
- Go forward 3x.
- Place the RED FLOWER, SNOW LILY, THORN, and MINT LEAVES (E).
- Place the BOTTLE (F).
- Move each ingredient to (G).
- Place the ingredients into (H) in the order 1-4.
- Turn (I), pull (J), and push (K).
- Take the DEVELOPER (L).
- Combine PUSS'S DIARY and the DEVELOPER (inventory).
- Walk down and left.
Chapter 3: Puss in Boots
- Talk to Puss in Boots (M).
- Take the PRUNING SHEARS (N).
- Take the KITTEN'S LETTER, 1st STATUE PART, and EGG (O).
- Use SIMON; take SIMON (P).
- Combine SIMON and the PRUNING SHEARS to earn the ROPE (inventory).
- Walk down.
- Use the PRUNING SHEARS; take the 2nd STATUE PART (Q).
- Enter the House.
- Replace the bottle with the EGG; take the FIRE SALAMANDER (R).
- Walk down and left.
- Use the GLUE and 2 STATUE PARTS; take the BLACKSMITH GNOME (A).
- Use the FIRE SALAMANDER; take the FIRELESS SALAMANDER and HOOK (B).
- Place the ROPE and HOOK; use SIMON (C).
- Play the HOP; earn the OWL (D).
- Select the OWL (inventory); restore the feathers (E).
- Take the CERTIFICATE and 1st MASTER'S AMULET PIECE (F).
- Walk down 2x, and go left.
- Give the CERTIFICATE; earn the 2nd MASTER'S AMULET PIECE (G).
- Place the 2 MASTER'S AMULET PIECES; take the MAGNET and FUSE (H).
- Place the FUSE; move the lever (I).
- Move the 3 red packages (J).
- Move the 3 yellow packages (K).
- Move the 3 blue packages (L).
- Take the MUSKETEER KIT (M).
- Open the MUSKETEER KIT; add SIMON to make ARMED SIMON (inventory).
- Walk down, forward, and left.
- Use ARMED SIMON (A).
- Select the dice to push Puss in Boots off the bench (B).
- The dice are randomly generated.
- PUSS IN BOOTS replaces SIMON on your menu bar.
- Walk forward.
- Select the hat; take the HEART (K).
- Take the STICK (L).
- Walk down 2x.
- Give the HEART; take the SQUIRREL and EMERALD (M).
- Walk left and forward.
- Give the SQUIRREL; take the REEL (N).
- Combine the STICK, REEL, and MAGNET to make the FISHING ROD (inventory).
- Walk down.
- Use the FISHING ROD to take the LEVER (O).
- Walk down 3x.
- Give the KITTEN'S LETTER; earn the 2nd CAT AMULET (P).
- Return to the Grotto Entrance.
- Place the 2 CAT AMULETS (Q).
- Place the EMERALD and LEVER; lift the lever (R).
- Take the BERRIES (S).
- Walk down 4x.
- Give the BERRIES; earn the SNOWBERRY SURPRISE (T).
- Walk down 3x.
- Give the SNOWBERRY SURPRISE; take the KITTENS (U).
- Return to the Grotto Entrance.
- Use the KITTENS; select the window (A).
- Move B-C, D-E, H-G, F-I, C-J.
- Move M-N, O-P, N-M, P-Q, M-N.
- Move R-S, T-U, N-V, Q-W, V-X, S-Y, W-Z, Y-S, Z-@, S-Y.
- Move A-B, C-D, E-C, D-F, C-D, G-C, D-H, C-I, B-J, I-K, H-L, J-H, K-M, L-I, H-L.
- Walk forward.
Chapter 4: Inside the Grotto
- Use PUSS IN BOOTS; earn the BROKEN RAPIER (N).
- Take the 1st TREE AMULET (O).
- Take the 2nd TREE AMULET (P).
- Place the 2 TREE AMULETS; take the SEAL (Q).
- Walk down 3x.
- Place the SEAL; take the CAT PAW and the 1st STATUE FRAGMENT (R).
- Walk forward.
- Place the CAT PAW; take the GOLD NUT (S).
- Go to the Grotto Entrance.
- Give the GOLD NUT; take the CHARM POWDER (T).
- Select the BLACKSMITH GNOME; add the BROKEN RAPIER, and CHARM POWDER to make the FIRE RAPIER (inventory).
- Walk forward.
- Give the FIRE RAPIER (U).
- Take the GRAVITY STONE (A).
- Place the GRAVITY STONE; take the 2nd STATUE FRAGMENT (B).
- Place the 2 STATUE FRAGMENTS; restore the statue (C).
- Answer 5 random questions; earn the GRAVITY STONE (D).
- Place the GRAVITY STONE (E).
- Walk forward.
- Take the 1st BAS-RELIEF PIECE (O).
- Take the ICE SPHERE (P).
- Use PUSS IN BOOTS; earn the 2nd BAS-RELIEF PIECE (Q).
- Walk down.
- Use the ICE SPHERE; earn the FIRE SPHERE (R).
- Use the FIRE SPHERE; take the SPROUT (S).
- Walk forward.
- Place and press the 2 BAS-RELIEF PIECES; take the EMPTY VIAL (T).
- Place the SPROUT; take the FIRE FRUIT (U).
- Combine the FIRELESS SALAMANDER and FIRE FRUIT to make the FIRE SALAMANDER (inventory).
- Use the FIRE SALAMANDER; use the EMPTY VIAL to take the VIAL (V).
- Use the VIAL (W).
- Play the HOP; earn the CHEST (X).
- Open the CHEST; take the CHRISTMAS STAR (inventory).
- Walk down 9x.
- Give the CHRISTMAS STAR; earn the MESSAGE (A).
- Select (B).
- Locate the landmasses 1-6.
- The perspective matters.
- Note the cloud symbol (C).
- Select the clouds (1-6).
- Take the 1st HORSESHOE (D).
- Take the 1/4 BELL (E).
- Take the 2/4 BELL, WELL HANDLE, and 1st SAW HANDLE (F).
- Walk left.
- Take the MALLET (G).
- Take the WEDGE (H).
- Use PUSS IN BOOTS; select to earn the 3/4 BELL (I).
- Walk down.
- Use the WEDGE and MALLET; take the 2nd HORSESHOE (J).
- Walk left.
- Place the 2 HORSESHOES; take the 4/4 BELL (K).
- Walk down.
- Place the 4 BELLS; select 1-6.
- Walk forward.
- Give the MESSAGE, earn the 0/5 RECIPE (L).
- Take the ROLLING PIN (M).
- Remove the cover; take the BUCKET (N).
- Take the 1/5 RECIPE and CARROT (O).
- Take the WING (P).
- Walk down.
- Place the WING; take the 2/5 RECIPE (Q).
- Walk left.
- Give the CARROT; earn the WELL COVER HANDLE (R).
- Walk down.
- Place the WELL COVER HANDLE; remove the cover (S).
- Place the WELL HANDLE and BUCKET; take the 3/5 RECIPE (T).
- Use PUSS IN BOOTS, select the handle, and earn the CHRISTMAS TREE AMULET (U).
- Walk forward.
- Place the CHRISTMAS TREE AMULET; take the 4/5 RECIPE and PATTERN (V).
- Place the PATTERN; take the ROOSTER (W).
- Place the ROOSTER (X); play the HOP to earn the 5/5 RECIPE.
- Place the 5/5 RECIPE and ROLLING PIN; select 1-6.
- Select the dough 2x, talk to and take the KOLOBOK (A).
- Take the BUCKET (B).
- Walk down and left.
- Place the KOLOBOK (C).
- Use PUSS IN BOOTS (D).
- Take the 2nd SAW HANDLE; use PUSS IN BOOTS to take the HARE FIGURINE (E).
- Place the 2 SAW HANDLES; use PUSS IN BOOTS (F).
- Select the handle 3x; take the LOG and DRILL (G).
- Use the DRILL; take the FROZEN FIGURE (H).
- Combine the FROZEN FIGURINE and FIRE SALAMANDER to find the 2nd HARE FIGURINE (inventory).

Chapter 5: The Witch
- Select (P).
- Take the ELEPHANT; place the BUCKET (Q).
- Take the SPADE (R).
- Use PUSS IN BOOTS; earn the 1/2 FEATHER (S).
- Walk down 3x; go forward.
- Place the ELEPHANT; take the 2/2 FEATHER (T).
- Walk down.
- Place the 2 FEATHERS (U).
- Play the HOP; earn the CARROT (V).
- Walk left.
- Give the CARROT, touch the bunny, and earn the TUNING FORK (A).
- Go forward 2x.
- Use the TUNING FORK; take the PIKE (B).
- Walk down.
- Place the PIKE; earn the MATRYOSHKA (C).
- Open the MATRYOSHKA 5x; take the SILVER KEY and MATRYOSHKAS (inventory).
- Use the SPADE; open the chest and take the 1st MAGIC SWORD AMULET (D).
- Walk down 2x; go forward.
- Place the MATRYOSHKAS; arrange as shown (E).
- Take the HONEY (F).
- Return to the Forest Hut Entrance.
- Give the HONEY; take the 2nd MAGIC SWORD AMULET (G).
- Place the 2 MAGIC SWORD AMULETS; take the MAGIC SWORD (H).
- Use the MAGIC SWORD; take the OWL FIGURINE (I).
- Walk down 2x.
- Place the OWL FIGURINE; earn the MAGIC WORDS (J).
- Walk forward 2x.
- Use the MAGIC WORDS (K).
- Walk forward.
- Use PUSS IN BOOTS (L).
- Use DUSTY; take the SNOW MAIDEN'S PAGE (M).
- Walk down 4x; go forward.
- Give the SNOW MAIDEN'S PAGE; earn FATHER FROST'S RIDDLE, ANNA'S RIDDLE, and GHOST'S RIDDLE (N).
- Walk down 2x.
- Give FATHER FROST'S RIDDLE; earn the GOLDEN KEY (O).
- Go to the House.
- Use ANNA'S RIDDLE; earn the DIAMOND KEY (P).
- Go to the Grotto.
- Give the GHOST'S RIDDLE; earn the APPLE (Q).
- Go to the Forest Hut.
- Place the APPLE; take the BRONZE KEY (R).
- Walk down 2x.
- Place the GOLDEN KEY, BRONZE KEY, SILVER KEY, and DIAMOND KEY; open the chest (S).
- Play the HOP; earn the AMULET OF KINDNESS (T).
- Select the AMULET OF KINDNESS and read the note (inventory).
- Select H-E-F-C-B-A-D-G-H-I-F-C-B-E-F-I-H-E-D-G-H-I-F-E.
- Solution (J); take the ACTIVE AMULET.
- Walk forward 2x.
- Use the ACTIVE AMULET (K).
- Select pairs (color-coded) (L-N).
- Take the KIND WITCH (O).
- Walk down 4x; go forward.
- Use the KIND WITCH; earn the 0/7 RECIPE and SNOW MAIDEN'S WAND (P).
- Walk down.
- Use the SNOW MAIDEN'S WAND; take the 1/7 RECIPE (Q).
- Walk left.
- Use the SNOW MAIDEN'S WAND; take the 2/7 RECIPE (R).
- Use the SNOW MAIDEN'S WAND; take the 3/7 RECIPE (S).
- Walk forward.
- Use the SNOW MAIDEN'S WAND; take the 4/7 RECIPE (T).
- Use the SNOW MAIDEN'S WAND; take the 5/7 RECIPE (U).
- Walk forward.
