General Tips
• Click on New game (A) to begin a new game. • Click Continue (B) – to continue the saved game after closed the game and launched it again. • Click Resume (C) to go back to the game from the menu. • Click Save (D) – to save the game. • Click load (E) – to load a saved game if there are several save files. • The Options (F) button allows you to adjust the screen size (wide screen and fullscreen), music and sound. The Options menu is accessible from both the main screen and the in-game menu. • The Quit (G) will close the game and save your progress. • There are no profiles in the game. • You can save the game at any moment from the menu. • The game will be saved automatically before you quit it. • This guide will refer to Hidden Object Scenes as 'HOS'. • Items will stay in inventory until they are used. Inventory is unlimited. • Some puzzle and mini-games solutions are random. • The HINT button is accessible in HOS, in the task list inside the notebook and in mini games. You must wait for hint to recharge in between uses. In HOS and mini-games Hint needs 60 seconds to recharge, while in My Entries it needs only 0 seconds to recharge. • When you see a character you must always click on it to talk. Characters can give you tasks, as well as give items. You cannot use or pick up items while the dialogue is shown. You can click through current phrase by clicking anywhere on the screen. Cursor changes to a mouth icon during dialogues. • Inventory items are sometimes given after completing HOS, but sometimes they lie around non HOS screens. When you pick up an inventory item, it will go to inventory automatically. • You can tell if an item can be picked up when the cursor changes to a grabbing hand. • The cursor will change to feet when you hover over an area, which will take you to another screen. • The cursor will change to Magnifying Glass if the area opens up a HOS or a close-up. • If you hover over an item you can pick up in a non HOS screens, you will see it labeled. • You need to pay attention to all the pieces of papers, notes on walls, trash cans. Everywhere there can be useful information and keys to get and solve tasks. • Your inventory is unlimited. • Options menu allows you to adjust Music (A) and Sound (B) volume. • Also turn full-screen on and off (C). • Select a difficulty level. Extreme Adventure Mode (D) will provide no hint. • We suggest always start with Light Adventure Mode (E), which will provide numerous hint. • Cursor will change to shoes to show a click in this area will take you to a new screen (A). • Cursor will change to magnifying glass to show this area can be expanded (B). • Click Menu button to go to menu (A). • Click Tutorial button to go to game help (B). • Click the Map (C) to open game map. • The Wallet (E) shows your money balance. • Click Inventory button to expand inventory (F). The arrow direction is your eyes sight direction. • Click on any area of the map to close it. • You can pick up the flag and change its position or click on the flag button to turn it off. • If you have a flag located on the map and you have not reached that location yet, in regular outdoor locations you will see white arrows next to regular green arrows. Such white arrows show you the correct way to reach your target location, the one marked with flag. • As soon as you reach it, arrows and flag will disappear.Chapter 1
• You are a journalist. Your boss sends you to Tundel city to interview its mayor. • First you need to pick up some stuff before going. The items in a HO list are hidden in several locations: • You have to give a ticket to a conductor on the platform. • Here you are in Tundel. You start out on a train station. You only have 24$ in your wallet. Use the money carefully. Complete tasks and collect empty bottles to earn more money. Your inventory is unlimited. You need to pay attention to all the pieces of papers, notes on walls, trash cans. Everywhere there can be useful information and keys to get and solve tasks. • Take a look inside the trashcan. Pick up everything you can. • On the sheet of paper we see the number of the box in the locker room and a part of the code. • Enter the train station. • Talk to the man. He asks for lemonade and a sandwich. After receiving them he says that the mayor lives outside the town, on his own island. Air plane is the only way to get there. In the cash register you learn that you can buy an airline ticket in the airline ticket counter. • Open the map to find its location. Place the flag there and go there following the arrows. • Go to airline ticket counter. The cashier says that you have to show a special admission card to buy a ticket to the mayor’s island. • Open the notebook “My Entries”, to learn where you can get the admission card. You can receive it from an Egyptologist who lives at 33 Balding St. • The Egyptologist agrees to exchange the admission card for an ancient papyrus. • Open the note book and see that the scroll can be found in the library. Go to the library. • The librarian asks you for eye-glasses that can be bought in the pharmacy. • Go to the pharmacy. Buy the eye-glasses. • Give eyeglasses to the librarian and get the papyrus. • After you bring the papyrus to Egyptologist, you can open a safe. • Opening the safe you will see a letter. Based on it you have to find the WC. • It is in the Egyptologist’s yard (to the right). Enter it. • You have found the admission Card. Pick it up. • By picking it up you will get dirty. • You have to clean yourself and the card in any water source, for example in a fountain next to the train station. • After you are clean bring the card to the airlines cash register. After taking the card, the cashier asks you for $1264 to buy an air ticket. This now becomes the main goal of the game – to collect enough money for the ticket. • Go to the train Station. The man will ask for a shaver. Open up the map and find a barbershop. • At the barbershop, open up close up of a trashcan. • And put a shaver together from the parts lying in the trash can: • Go back to the station and give the shaver to the traveler. You will earn some money! • Talk to the officer near the lockers room of the terminal: He asks you to show your ID. After seeing it he asks you for a receipt for the locker. • The receipt is in the asphalt pit. • Take the receipt and give it to the officer. Now you can enter the locker room. • Go back to the lockers at the station. Find the box 12, mentioned on the sheet of paper which you found in the trash can on the platform. • You have to guess the last 2 digits, which are also 46. So the code is 4646. Take the money go add another $183 to your account. Exit the train station. • Talk to the artist. He asks you for a ruler. It can be bought in the stationery. • This place is marked with a cross on the town map: • Buy the ruler at the stationary. Bring it to the artist and get $20. Now the artist asks you for some purple pain that can be obtained in Ferelli's garage. Go there… • Go to the garage. • Click on the paint jars on the shelves…Blend blue and red colors to receive purple. Bring it to the artist to get $20.Chapter 2
• Go up from the fountain where the artist is. You see a wallet and try to take it. • But it disappears in the bush, and a boy laughs at you. In order to take the wallet you have to cut the rope with garden pruners. • Go to the gardener's house. Take the pruners. • Go back to the wallet and apply pruners to the wallet. You will get $32. • Let's turn right to find another task…Turn to the right again. • Open the door of house #3 and enter. • You see a door in front of you. Ring the doorbell. • Talk to the old woman and enter the flat. • The woman asks you to find the missing buttons which must be in the next room. Click left arrow to go to the nest room. • Open the refrigerator. • Find all the hidden buttons. • Look at the TV. You need detail to fix it. • Go to the House of Radio to get them. • Look for needed parts in the box on the floor. • Find all the parts and go back to the old lady. • Place parts to corresponding places. Fix the TV-set to receive $17. • Exit this apartment and go one floor up. Ring the bell and enter the flat. • Talk to the strange knight. He lacks a sword, so, we go away to find some. A sword can be found in the Cinema House • Go to the Cinema House. The crew won't help you until they can shoot a beer commercial. The beer won't froth, but shaving foam could help the situation. Go to the barber's. • Enter the barber's and take the shaving foam. • Return to the shooting ground and apply the foam to the beer. The director is happy and asks you to get a script of Titanic. You can find it in the library. • Go to the library and buy the script. • Give it to the director to get $160. Now he asks you to bring the shooting properties from the next room. Here you also find a sword. • Do a HOS in the properties box. Give the things you found to the director to get $20. • Go back to the knight, Give sword to him and get $73. • Descend to the street and click UP arrow. Enter the house #70: • The door you see on the ground floor leads to Prof. Shultzman's apartment. We'll return here later. Let's climb the stairs: • Ring the doorbell. They ask you for the password. As the soldier now asks for a nuclear missile, you assume that he has gone mad and needs treatment. • Go to the pharmacy and buy pills for manias. • The treatment works and you earn $213. • Exit to the street. • Go to Shultzman's apartment. Ring the door and enter the flat: • Talk to Prof. Shultzman. • When you ask the Professor for some recipe, their list appears on the right. Give it to him. • You get the recipe and now need to find all the ingredients. This time these are film developer, lens, cement and a gum. Click the recipe to put it into the inventory. • You can check it any time if you click it in the inventory or in My Entries. • You should find the ingredients now. Go to the House of Radio to get the film developer. • The cement is on the building ground. Take the cement and a crowbar. • A glass lens can be taken in the astronomer apartment. He lives at 16423, 23 No Lightbulbs St. Enter the house #23. • Enter the apartment 890. • The girl is in a hurry and asks you to find her make-up. • Go to the room on the right. • Complete the HO scene to get $23. • Climb the stairs, as you are still searching for a lens. You see a boarded door. • Apply a crowbar to it to enter the flat. • The astronomer be indignant at your breaking in. You need to give him a telescope to calm him down. • Go to the next room, assemble the telescope and give it to the astronomer. Now he needs a star catalogue which can be bought in the library. • Go to the library and buy catalogue. • Give catalogue to astronomer and receive the lens in exchange: • Finally, the gum can be found on Unpretentious St. As you come up, you see and old man stuck to a bench. Click the gum to help him. • Take the gum. Now you have all the needed ingredients. • Go to Prof. Shultzman. • You will have to prepare all the potions yourself. Go to the room on the left. • Here is a special device for making potions. If you have any recipes in your inventory, they appear on the screen. As you click the needed recipe, it unfolds on the right. • Put all the ingredients from the inventory to the cauldron. • The ingredients are ticked in the recipe as you add them to the cauldron. • You can't put wrong ingredients in the cauldron. • After adding them all you pull the lever. • Take the potion and give it to the ghostly man. You receive $21 for completing the task. • Descend to the street and go right up to the house #65: • As you enter the house you see an iron door. Switch the toggle and enter the flat. • Talk to the strange astronaut. He asks for a sticky tape to fix the “jets” of his rocket. • Go to the stationery to buy the sticky tape and give it to the astronaut • Now he needs a drill, a perforator and a screw. • Go to Ferelli's garage to buy a drill. • A perforator and a screw can be found under the hood of a blue car standing on the corner of houses #71 and #18. Go there and open the hood. • Complete a HOS to find a perforator and a screw. Go back to the astronaut. Give the astronaut all he needs (+ $61). • Go away to find new tasks… • Go to the yard on the left. Enter the hospital. • Go up the stairs. • Open the door on the right. • The man in plaster asks to help him and buy a medicine for rhinitis. • Buy the pills in the pharmacy and bring them to the man in plaster (+ $17). • Leave the room and go to the dentist. • An old man was sitting behind the door. He thought the opened door would pull an aching tooth, but lost his jaw instead. • Bring him another jaw. • Go to 49, 71 Half entered St. and try to take a jaw lying in the glass. • Its owner wakes up and doesn't let you take it.Chapter 4

A branch prevents you from entering the flat. • Go to Ferelli's garage to buy a hand saw. • Saw the branch and enter the flat. • The woman asks you to help her put everything to its place in the next room. • Complete the mini-game using the outlines of the objects and return to the hostess (+ $17). • Descend to the street and enter the house #18. • You see the flat #649. Simple rules. You need to make a bet using chips of 1$, 2$, 3$ value. You should bet on a certain number. If the resulting number matches the number of your bet, you will win sum of our 10 bets. If you lose – you will lose your bet. • You can play unlimited amount of times. But don’t waste too much money! • Leave the Casino. • In front of it there is a house #10. Enter it. • You will see a man who asks you to play Thimbles game. • You can try as many times if you want. • If you guess where the ball is, you earn $2. If you don’t guess – you lose $1. • Go to museum on a Culture Lane. • Talk to its Director. He will ask you to put his favorite statue back together. He broke it by accident. • Go inside and then to the left. • Fix the statue. • After you are done, go to the director and earn $60. • Go up to the stadium on Pot St. • Talk to the soccer team captain. He asks for a ball. • The ball is located in the apartment with the hungry baby, who we brought the milk for. • Go there and take the ball. • Give the ball to the soccer team and earn $32. • The captain suggests a bet. • You have to score in 3 tries. If you do, you earn $50. • If you lose – you lose $50. • Go north to the top of Nothing St. • See a dog and a barrier. • The dog will eat nothing but sausage and bacon. • Go to the Food Store next to the fountain. • Buy sausage and bacon first. • Go to pharmacy and buy sleeping pills. • Now use the pills on sausage and bacon in inventory. • Go back to the top of Nothing St. • Give sleeping sausage and bacon to the dog. • After the dog falls asleep, go through the barrier. • See the underwater machine. Get inside. • You need kerosene to dive. • You can buy it from Ferelli's garage Go there. • Ferelli won’t give us kerosene unless we have corresponding container – kerosene lamp. • Go to Antique store. Its address is 8, Nothing St. Buy the lamp and go back to garage. • Ferelli give us kerosene. • Go back to the submersible. And fill it with kerosene. • Now find all the items from the list and get $52. • Now go to 2, Halfcentered St. • Enter the building and the 2nd apartment. • A cigarettes pack collector lives here. • He will pay you $20 for each pack. By now you should have at least 2 packs and will earn $40. • Go to the end of Chicken St. • You will see a poor man under a hen’s control • He needs any kind of bait to place in the cage. • Go buy bread in the Food Store and come back. • Place bread into the cage and save the man. • He will pay you $20. • Go to the left to the house #5. Go inside. • Go to the basement. • The man in black will ask for a book called : “The Children of the Moon” • Go to the library to buy the book. • Go back and get 56$ for the book. • But the man now asks for a time travel potion. • Go to professor Shultsman. • Select a needed recipe and try to find the ingredients. • You will need: coal, old clock, granite, mistletoe, brown glass, wine, thermometer • Start with the coal and go to 64, Milkguesler St. • Enter the building. • Enter the boiler room and pick up coal. • No go to antique shop and try to buy the old clock.
