General Tips
- This is the official guide for Dark Realm: Guardian of Flames.
- This guide won't tell you when to zoom into a location; the screenshots show each zoom scene.
- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. Only the locations of the HOPs will be shown.
- Use the Map to fast travel to a location.
Chapter 1: Castle Terrace
- Examine (A). Receive MEDALLION.
- Talk (B).
- Offer MEDALLION (C).
- Take GOLD SKULL (D).
- Move down.
- Take WINDING KEY (E).
- Open (F); turn page; take document; turn page; take CLUE PIECE.
- Move left.
- Lift (G); take PLANET 1/5. Insert WINDING KEY; take SMALL GEAR 1/2. Press burner, then take RAIN-SUMMONING SCROLL. Take SMALL GEAR 2/2.
- Move (H); take CLUE.
- CLUE PIECE to CLUE; receive CONSTELLATIONS.
- Place CONSTELLATIONS (I).
- Solution: (J). Open; move book; take SWORD.
- Move right.
- Place SMALL GEAR (K).
- Play HOP (L); receive SILVER FIGURINE.
- Move left.
- Use the RAIN-SUMMONING SCROLL (M); move cloud to put out flames.
- Talk (N).
- Remove PLANET 2/5 from SWORD; receive BROKEN SWORD.
- Use BROKEN SWORD (O); take PLANET 3/5.
- Move left.
- Open (P); take pot and mold. Use BROKEN SWORD; take mold. Press burner; add SILVER FIGURINE. Place mold lid; pour silver. Remove lid; take PLANET 4/5.
- Take PLANET 5/5 from GOLD SKULL.
- Go (Q).
- Place PLANET (R).
- Find items (S). Touch medallion.
- Find items (T). Examine.
- Find items (U).
- Take map (V).
- Examine (W).
Chapter 2: The Dam
- Examine (X).
- Take WEDGE (Y).
- Play HOP (Z); receive CHAIN.
- Take BELL 1/2 (A). Add CHAIN. Move down.
- Move items (B).
- Take Zimora, the Hammer (C).
- Take IRON ROD (D).
- Take BELL 2/2 (E).
- Move down.
- Add BELL (F).
- Use Hammer (G).
- Enter Forge.
- Take BUCKET (H).
- Take GOGGLES (I) and CLOTH. Add IRON ROD; use Hammer. Take LONG HOOK.
- Move down.
- Take STICK (J).
- CLOTH on STICK; receive WRAPPED STICK.
- Add WRAPPED STICK (K); receive IMPROVISED TORCH.
- Enter Underground.
- Use BUCKET (L); receive BUCKET OF WATER.
- Return to Forge.
- Add IMPROVISED TORCH (M); receive TORCH.
- Read (N); turn pages. Take LABYRINTH MAP. Close book. Pour BUCKET OF WATER.
- Move (O).
- Solution: B-D-F-(E-H), A-B-F-(E-G) (P).

- Take TILES (R).
- Return to Dam Approach; enter Underground.
- Add TILES (S).
- Enter.
- Use LABYRINTH MAP (T) and TORCH.
- Solution: F-R-F; take; Rx2; place; F (U).
- Take; D-Lx2-D-L; place; F-L-F; use Hammer; F-R. Move up. Climb (V).
- Examine (W).
- Use LONG HOOK (X). Look down. Move items; take HANDLE.
- Insert HANDLE (Y), lift.
- Enter Elevator.
- Pull (Z).
- Move forward.
- Add Hammer (A). Take Hammer.
- Offer BROKEN SWORD (B).
- Solution: C-B-E-A-D (C). Take ENCHANTED SWORD.
- Take OILCAN (D). Use ENCHANTED SWORD; take STEEL CABLE.
- Move forward.
- Use EXTINGUISHED TORCH (E); receive BLUE-FLAME TORCH.
- Move down.
- Use BLUE-FLAME TORCH (F).
- Move down.
- Use BLUE-FLAME TORCH (G).
- Move right.

- Return to Dam Controls; move forward.
- Play HOP (I).
- Return to Dam Rampart.
- Look up; add STEEL CABLE (J).
- Attach cable (K).
- Pull (L).
- Go (M).
Chapter 3: The Village
- Take RED ALGAE 2/4 (N) and IMPROVISED LOCKPICK.
- Move items (O); take FIREWORK KEG. Insert IMPROVISED LOCKPICK.
- Solution: B-C-A-C-Bx4-C (P).
- Lift lids (Q); take RED ALGAE 3/4. Turn pages; take SHIPMENT LABEL.
- Add SHIPMENT LABEL (R). Open; move items; take FLASH DUST.
- Move forward.
- Take RED ALGAE 4/4 (S).
- Move down.
- Hammer on FIREWORK KEG. Take GUNPOWDER.
- Use OILCAN (T); then add RED ALGAE, GUNPOWDER and FLASH DUST. Turn crank; take BLINDING EXPLOSIVE.
- Move forward.
- Add GOGGLES (U) and BLINDING EXPLOSIVE. Wear goggles; throw blinding explosive. Touch. Use ENCHANTED SWORD.
- Move forward.
- Take PAINTING PIECE 1/3 (V).
- Take QUILL (W).
- Take VELVET BAG (X) and PAINTING PIECE 2/3.
- Use QUILL (Y), turn page.
- Replace items (Z). Turn page.
- Replace items (A). Turn page.
- Replace items (B). Turn page.
- Reassemble (C). Take ring. Turn pages; take PAINTING PIECE 3/3.
- Add PAINTING PIECE (D).
- Solution: (E).
- Move up.
- Hide (F).
- Take SKULL (G).
- Move down.
- Add GOLD SKULL (H) and SKULL; take CROSSBOW.
- Move down.
- Open VELVET BAG; take COINS.
- Insert COINS (I).
- Play HOP (J); receive CROSSBOW BOLT.
- Return to Altar, then move right.
- CROSSBOW BOLT on CROSSBOW; receive LOADED CROSSBOW.
- Use LOADED CROSSBOW (K).
- Take Medallion (L).
Chapter 4: The Dark Realm
- Examine (M).
- Grab (N); then talk. Use Teeth.
- Go to Pump (O).
- Use Fire (P).
- Remove (Q); take battery.
- Move down.
- Go to Machines (R).
- Use Claw (S).
- Play HOP (T).
- Return to Pump.
- Use Fire (U).
- Go to Machines.
- Use Claw (V). Talk.
- Examine (W). Talk. Use Fire.
- Remove (X); take battery.
- Move down.
- Add batteries (Y).

Chapter 5: The Flying Fortress
- Take FLUTE (A).
- Take WING 1/2 (B).
- Take WING 2/2 (C).
- Add WING (D).
- Move forward.
- Talk (E). Take COMMUNICATOR.
- Place hand (F). Take Box.
- Take TONGS (G), PIE, GLOBE PIECE and CLOTH.
- Add GLOBE PIECE (H).

- Move down.
- Open (J); take CANNONBALL.
- Take SADDLE (K). Use CANNONBALL. Open; take LADDER and SPYGLASS. Use CLOTH; receive IMPROVISED KNIFE.
- Insert, turn GREENHOUSE KEY (L).
- Enter.
- Take MAGNIFYING GLASS (M).
- Offer PIE (N).
- Use TONGS (O).
- Play HOP (P).
- Insert Box (Q).
- Move down.
- Place LADDER (R). Add Box and FLUTE.
- Solution: C-A-B-D (S).

- Touch (U).
- Move forward.
- Remove LENS from SPYGLASS.
- Expand (V). Add LENS and MAGNIFYING GLASS. Add Box. Open Box. Take SCRYING CRYSTAL. Add SCRYING CRYSTAL.

- Return to Greenhouse.
- Add SADDLE (X).
- Use IMPROVISED KNIFE (Y).
- Mount (Z).
- Use MAP (A).
Chapter 6: Snail House
- Examine (B).
- Take SPONGE (C).
- Take PLATE 1/3 (D).
- Examine (E). Use SPONGE. Note symbols.

- Knock (G). Talk, knock again. Take SHOVEL.
- Move down.
- Use SHOVEL (H); take LAMP PLATE.
- Insert LAMP PLATE (I).
- Play HOP (J); receive PLATE 3/3.
