General Tips

Choose Casual or Expert game mode.In Casual mode, there are one or more glittering areas.
One glittering star indicates an interactive area. They appear where you need to either use or take an object, read a document, or move to the next location.
When you see a sparkle area, click on that spot to load a Hidden Object Scene (HOS). When you complete a HOS, you'll receive a useful tool or object.
Click 'CONTENTS' to return to the menu (B).
The cursor changes to a magnifying glass when it's close to a zoomable area, where you can find objects of interest. The cursor also changes when you move it over a document.
The cursor changes to an arrow (up, down left, or right) when you're close to an exit from the current location. To move in that direction, click on the arrow.
The cursor changes to a hand when you can use an object at that spot.

The screen freezes momentarily when you click too many times on random objects in a HOS.
Click the hint button in the lower right corner when you're stuck.
When you click the Hint Button in a HOS, a blue puff of smoke will surround an object of interest. When you need to use an object that's in your inventory and press the Hint Button, an arrow will point toward the object you need to use and a blue puff of smoke will surround the area where you should use it.
If there are no actions to perform at a location and you click the Hint Button, a blue arrow will indicate where to go next.
The hint button recharges over time.
Some of the objects you find are automatically placed in your inventory and are displayed at the bottom of the game screen when you move your mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen (A).
To use an object from your inventory, click on the object and then click on the area of interest.
To skip a mini-game, click the Skip Button once it's fully charged. The Skip Button is available only when playing a mini-game, and is displayed in the right lower corner of the mini-game window.
All important game events are automatically recorded in the Journal. Click the Journal (B) and then the corresponding tab (C) to read about an event.
To use the Map, click on the Journal (A) and then select the Map (B). The Map shows your location, the places you've visited, and all Hidden Object Scenes and other places of interaction.
