- This is the official guide for Family Mysteries: Poisonous Promises.
- This guide won't tell you when to zoom into a location; the screenshots show each zoom scene.
- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. Only the locations of the HOPs will be shown.
- Use the Map to fast travel to a location.
Chapter 1: Beach
- Select (A). Play HOP. Select (A).
- Select (B) 2x, select (B1).
- Talk (C). Select (C1).
- Select 1-4. Move 5-6. Place 7-8-9-10 as shown. Select 11-12-13-14. Select 15x6.
- Open envelope and select twice.
- Talk (D); take FLASHLIGHT (D1).
- Use FLASHLIGHT (E). Play HOP; receive MEDALLION NECKLACE.
- Go (F).
- Take MEDICAL INLAY (G).
- Place MEDICAL INLAY and select; take MEDICAL BAG and PANEL CARD (H).
- Open MEDICAL BAG; get COTTON SWAB and DNA SOLUTION.
- Use PANEL CARD (I).
- Solution: 2-3-6-4-1-2-3-4. Select (6).
- Return to Shark Cliff Bay.
- Open (J).
- Use COTTON SWAB (K); receive SAMPLE TUBE. Take TIME OF DEATH (L).
- Go (K1).
- Enter 468 (M).
- Use DNA SOLUTION and SAMPLE TUBE (N); select (O).
- Solution (Px1-Qx2-Rx3-Sx4-Tx5); receive DNA RESULT.
- Select (U).
- Select 6x (V). Solution (1-6)-(2-8)-(3-9)-(4-6)-(5-7).
- Solution: fill (W-X-Y). Solution is random. Example (Z). Complete twice to solve.
- Talk (A); take MARK'S WALLET (B).
- Open MARK'S WALLET; take ELLENA'S LOVE LETTER and STICKER CARD.
- Take HOT COFFEE (C).
- Use HOT COFFEE (D); receive SUN STICKER.
- Use SUN STICKER and STICKER CARD (E). Play HOP; receive ELLENA'S ROOM KEY.
- Use ELLENA'S ROOM KEY (F).
- Go (G).
- Talk (H); take KEY CARD (I).
- Walk back.
- Use KEY CARD (J).
- Go (K) to play HOP.
- Select 2x (L); select 2x (M) drag to (N); select and drag to (O).
- Take EPI KIT (O).

- Use LOCK PICKS (K). Select 2-4-5-3-1.
- Go (M).
- Select all (N).
- Take GRABBER (O).
- Walk back.
- Select (P); use Smartphone and GRABBER; receive DOG COOKIES.
- Go (Q).
- Use DOG COOKIES (R); receive DISPOSABLE CAMERA.
- Open DISPOSABLE CAMERA; get UNDEVELOPED FILM.
- Take PHONE CARD and HEART TOKEN (S).
- Walk back.
- Select (T); use PHONE CARD (U); take ENCRYPTED PHONE and COIN TOKEN (V).
- Go (W).
- Select 2x (X).
- USE COIN TOKEN and HEART TOKEN.

- Select (C); take USB CABLE (D).
- Use USB CABLE (E); use ENCRYPTED PHONE (F).

- Take UNDEVELOPED FILM, FLASHLIGHT, and SMARTPHONE (C).
- Select 2x (D).
- Use FLASHLIGHT (E); take AIR PUMP and OLD PARASOL (F); select 6x and take POCKET KNIFE (G).
- Open OLD PARASOL; get INFLATABLE BUOY.
- Use INFLATABLE BUOY and AIR PUMP (H). Play HOP (H1); receive SET OF WRENCHES.
- Open SET OF WRENCHES; use POCKET KNIFE; receive TAPE.
- Open OLD PARASOL; use SET OF WRENCHES; receive CLIMBING POLES 2/2.
- Go (I).
- Use CLIMBING POLES (J).
- Solution (Kx2-L)-(M-Nx2)-(Ox2-Px2).
- Play HOP. Drag (Q) to (R); receive BRIEFCASE.
- Select (S); take NOTE and CAR INLAY (T).
- Open NOTE; take SD CARD.
