General Tips
- This is the official guide for Final Cut: Fame Fatale.
- This guide will not mention each time you have to zoom into a location; the screenshots will show each zoom scene.
- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. This guide will not show screenshots of the HOPs, but it will mention when a HOP is available and the inventory item you'll collect from it.
- This guide will give step-by-step solutions for all puzzles that are not random. Please read the instructions in the game for each puzzle.
Chapter 1: A VIP Event
- Open the envelope and read the note (A); take the COMPARTMENT KEY (B).
- Open the compartment with the COMPARTMENT KEY (C); move the bag until it falls out (D).
- Play the HOP (E).
- You receive a HANDBAG.
- Access the HANDBAG; open the flap and take the CANDY BAR and FESTIVAL INVITATION (F).
- Take the NAIL CLIPPERS (G).
- Go forward.
- Talk to the bouncer; show him your FESTIVAL INVITATION (H).
- Take the ELEPHANT HEAD (I).
- Take BOX TOKEN 1/3 and place the ELEPHANT HEAD (J).
- Talk to the lady; move the paper and take the HAIRPIN (K).
- Walk down.
- Use the HAIRPIN (L); take the EMPTY GLASS (M).
- Walk forward.
- Use the EMPTY GLASS to get a GLASS OF WATER (N).
- Place the CANDY BAR and GLASS OF WATER (O); take the map (P) and zoom into the box (Q).
- Place the FESTIVAL INVITATION for a mini-game (R).
- Select the masks (S) and pull the lever (T); you receive a VIP PASS.
- Give the VIP PASS to the bouncer (U).
- Go forward.
- Take the VELVET GLOVE (V).
- Walk down.
- Use the VELVET GLOVE (W); take the LIGHTBULB and MAINTENANCE KEY (X).
- Walk forward.
- Use the MAINTENANCE KEY and open the grate (Y); take the JUKEBOX TOKEN (Z).
- Walk forward.
- Take the EXTENSION CORD (A); place the JUKEBOX TOKEN and take the BROKEN RECORD PIECE (B).
- Take the LENS REMOVER and BOX (C).
- Walk down.
- Take the LENS with the LENS REMOVER (D).
- Connect the EXTENSION CORD (E).
- Play the HOP (F).
- You receive BOX TOKEN 2/3.
- Walk forward.
- Use the LENS (G); take the SEA SHELL (H).
- Walk down.
- Access the SEA SHELL and use the BROKEN RECORD PIECE; take the PEARL (I).
- Place the PEARL (J); take the GOLDEN LOBSTER (K).
- Walk forward.
- Place the GOLDEN LOBSTER; take the LOBSTER CRACKER and BOX TOKEN 3/3 (L).
- Walk down.
- Access the BOX and place the BOX TOKENS; take the STATUETTE and EYEBROW PENCIL (M).
- Place the STATUETTE and move the statuettes so their bases match the symbols on the box; take the FESTIVAL MENU LIST (N).
- Walk forward.
- Place the FESTIVAL MENU LIST for a mini-game (O).
- Solution: Q-Q-P-P-Q-P.
- Walk forward.
- Take AUDREY'S ADDRESS (R).
- Walk down three times.
- Give AUDREY'S ADDESS to the driver (S).
- Go forward.
Chapter 2: Quinn Manor
- Open the gates.
- Take the SILVERWOOD STAR (T).
- Go left.
- Open the parcel and read the note; take the FLOWERPOT (U).
- Place the SILVERWOOD STAR (V); take the BROKEN UMBRELLA (W).
- Use the BROKEN UMBRELLA (X).
- Play the HOP (Y).
- You receive an S-HOOK.
- Walk down.
- Place the S-HOOK and FLOWERPOT; move the pots and take the SECURITY NOTE (Z).
- Go left.
- Place the LIGHT BULB and SECURITY NOTE; use the EYEBROW PENCIL and take the COMBINATION CODE (A).
- Place the COMBINATION CODE on the box and turn the panels (B); take the QUINN MANOR KEY (C).
- Walk down.
- Use the QUINN MANOR KEY (D).
- Go forward.
- Take the PURSE (E).
- Access the PURSE and use the NAIL CLIPPERS (F); take the locket and TWEEZERS (G).
- Take the SCARF and take SILVER ADORNMENT 1/2 with the TWEEZERS (H).
- Go upstairs.
- Take SILVER ADORNMENT 2/2 (I).
- Remove the bed spread and play the HOP (J).
- You receive a BROOCH.
- Walk down.
- Place the BROOCH; take the SCALPEL (K).
- Go forward.
- Use the SCALPEL; take the FILM REEL and WOLF PAW (L).
- Place the FILM REEL (M).
- Remove the sheet (N).
- Remove the room divider; take the FLASHLIGHT (O).
- Place the WOLF PAW for a mini-game (P).
- Solution (Q).
- Take the BAMBOO STICK (R).
- Go to the Garden.
- Place the SILVER ADORNMENT; take the RELEASE MECHANISM (S).
- Use the SCARF; take the SCARAB AMULET with the LOBSTER CRACKER (T).
- Go down and forward.
- Place the RELEASE MECHANISM and take the ANGEL FIGURINE (U).
- Go forward.
- Place the ANGEL FIGURINE; take SAFE PART 1/2 (V).
- Place the SCARAB AMULET (W); take the WOODEN GECKO (X).
- Walk down.
- Place the WOODEN GECKO; take the note, SAFE PART 2/2 and the ROULETTE CHIP (Y).
- Roll up the poster (Z).
- Remove the cover and place the SAFE PARTS for a mini-game (A).
- Take the book and BLUEPRINT (B).
- Walk down.
- Talk to Bernard (C).
- Use the FLASHLIGHT (D).
- Open the vent; take the SCREWDRIVER (E).
- Use the SCREWDRIVER (F).
- Go forward.
Chapter 3: Bernard's Negatives
- Talk to Veronica; give her the BLUEPRINTS (G).
- Open the suitcases and play the HOP (H).
- You receive the VAN LOCK CYLINDER.
- Place the VAN LOCK CYLINDER for a mini-game (I).
- Read the note and take the BOARDING PASS (J).
- Use the BOARDING PASS (K).
- Go forward.
- Take the EMBLEM BASE (L).
- Read the note and take the EMPTY TORCH LIGHTER (M).
- Go forward.
- Place the ROULETTE CHIP (N); take the CREDIT CARD, SHIP 1/4 and CARABINER (O).
- Talk the PALM OIL (P).
- Go right.
- Play the mini-HOP (Q).
- You receive the CAKE DECORATING KNIFE.
- Take the CLEANING SPRAY and remove the handle (R).
- Take the SIEVE; use the BAMBOO STICK to receive SHIP 2/4 (S).
- Open the fridge (T).
- Take the BRASS FISH (U).
- Walk down.
- Use the SIEVE; take MARITIME ORNAMENT 1/3 (V).
- Use the CAKE DECORATING KNIFE (W); take WIRE 1/2 (X).
- Walk down.
- Use the PALM OIL; take the ICE BUCKET (Y).
- Walk down.
- Use the CLEANING SPRAY, open the compartment and take the CLAM KNIFE (Z).
- Go forward.
- Use the CLAM KNIFE and play the HOP (A).
- You receive the SECURITY EMBLEM.
- Take WIRE 2/2 with the CLAM KNIFE (B).
- Walk forward.
- Place the SECURITY EMBLEM (C).
- Go forward.
- Take the MARKED CIRCUIT (D).
- Take MARITIME ORNAMENT 2/3 (E).
- Walk down.
- Place the WIRES and MARKED CIRCUIT for a mini-game (F).
- Go left.
- Take the SUCTION CUP and ORNAMENT STAND PART (G).
- Walk down and right.
- Use the SUCTION CUP (H); take MARITIME ORNAMENT 3/3 (I).
- Walk down twice.
- Place the MARITIME ORNAMENTS (J); take the FIREHOSE PLUG and SHIP 3/4 (K).
- Go forward and left.
- Place the FIRE HOSE PLUG and pull the hose (L); knot the hose (M) and pull the lever (L).
- Take the CHAIN (N).
- Go forward.
- Access the CARABINER and attach the CHAIN; take the PULL CHAIN (O).
- Attach the PULL CHAIN (P).
- Take ORNAMENT STAND PART 2/2 and attach the chain to the grid (Q).
- Take SHIP 4/4 (R); pull both levers (S).
- Use the ICE BUCKET; turn the valve (T).
- Drop the hatch (U).
- Walk down twice and go forward.
- Access the EMBLEM BASE and place the SHIPS; take the EMBLEM SHIP BASE (V).
- Place the EMBLEM SHIP BASE and push it; take the ORNAMENT STAND and OFFICE KEY (W).
- Walk down twice.
- Open the lock and open the door with the OFFICE KEY (X).
- Go right.
- Read the note and take the DIVIDER TOOL (Y).
- Take the ANCHOR SYMBOL (Z).
- Access the ORNAMENT STAND and place the ORNAMENT STAND PARTS; take the CABINET ORNAMENT (A).
- Place the CABINET ORNAMENT (B) for a mini-game (C).
- Take the WRENCH EMBLEM (D).
- Go to Security.
- Place the ANCHOR SYMBOL (E); take the PROJECTOR LENS (F).
- Walk down and left.
- Place the WRENCH EMBLEM (G).
- Play the HOP (H).
- You receive the LIGHTER FLUID.
- Go forward.
- Use the DIVIDER TOOL and take the MARLIN SPIKE (I).
- Go to the Kitchen.
- Access the EMPTY TORCH LIGHTER, open it and use the LIGHTER FLUID; take the TORCH LIGHTER (J).
- Use the TORCH LIGHTER and take the KITCHEN MALLET (K).
- Go down and left.
- Place the MARLIN SPIKE and use the KITCHEN MALLET (L); take the HYDROFLUORIC ACID and SMELLING SALTS (M).
- Go forward.
- Use the SMELLING SALTS (N).
- Untie Bernard with a mini-game (O).
- Take the PASSWORD (P).
- Go to Security.
- Place the PASSWORD (Q); enter 2431 (R) for a mini-game.
- Solution (S).
- You receive a CODE.
- Go to the Office.
- Place the CODE, turn the dials and open the tube (T); take the NEGATIVE (U).
- Place the PROJECTOR LENS and NEGATIVE (V).
- Open the shutters and play the HOP (W).
- You receive the NEGATIVE.
- Walk down.
Chapter 4: The Beach Cabin
- Avoid the objects coming towards you (X).
- Take the FLINT AND STEEL (Y).
- Play the mini-HOP to receive a SEA SNAIL (Z).
- Read the note and take the MAGNET (A).
- Walk forward.
- Place the SEA SNAIL and take the POI WEIGHTS (B).
- Move the hats and blanket and place the BRASS FISH (C); take the MINIATURE BOAT (D).
- Access the POI WEIGHTS and use the FLINT AND STEEL; you receive FLAMING POI WEIGHTS (E).
- Use the FLAMING POI WEIGHTS and play the HOP (F).
- You receive a SUN RAY.
- Walk down.
- Place the SUN RAY and MINIATURE BOAT (G) for a mini-game (H).
- Solution: 8, 5, 4, 7, 8, 5, 7, 8-7, 4-8, 7-8, 6-4, 9-5, 3-9, 8-9, 9-7, 5-6, 2-3, 1-8, 7-8, 8-7, 4-8, 7-8, 6-5, 3-9, 8-9, 9-4, 4-5.
- Go left.
- Read the note, assemble the engine and remove the tubing (I).
- Take the SEAGULL SYMBOL (J).
- Use the CREDIT CARD (K); take the JAR and EMPTY GAS CAN (L).
- Walk down.
- Place the SEAGULL SYMBOL (M); take the OIL TUBES (N), place the EMPTY GAS CAN and take the GAS CAN (O).
- Go forward.
- Use the JAR, move the coins and take the TURTLE GEMSTONE (P).
- Go down and left.
- Place the TURTLE GEMSTONE (Q); move the items and take the CALIPER (R).
- Walk down.
- Use the CALIPER; take the SPARK PLUG (S).
- Go left.
- Attach the OIL TUBES and SPARK PLUG; take the MOTORCYCLE ENGINE (T).
- Walk down.
- Place the MOTORCYCLE ENGINE and use the GAS CAN (U).
Chapter 5: Emerald Street
- Take the CLOTH (V) and TREE (W).
- Take SCREAMING MASK 1/3 with the MAGNET (X).
- Go forward.
- Play the HOP (Y).
- You receive a DOVE.
- Use the HYDROFLUORIC ACID and take the DANCING BOY and POLE (Z).
- Take BRACELET ORNAMENT 1/3 (A).
- Walk down.
- Use the POLE (B); take the METAL LEAF (C).
- Go right.
- Place the METAL LEAF and take the MIRROR (D).
- Take the DECORATING RIBBON (E).
- Access the TREE and place the DOVE; you receive the DOVE TREE (F).
- Read the note, take the ETHER and place the DOVE TREE (G); take SEAM RIPPER and EYELASH CURLER (H).
- Go down and forward.
- Take the WEDDING BOUQUET with the EYELASH CURLER (I).
- Remove the cork with the SEAM RIPPER (J).
- Move the barrel (K).
- Go right.
- Access the ETHER and use the CLOTH; you receive an ETHER-SOAKED CLOTH and BOTTLE OF ETHER (L).
- Use the ETHER-SOAKED CLOTH (M).
- Use the DECORATING RIBBON (N).
- Use the BOTTLE OF ETHER and take the XYLOPHONE MALLET and BRACELET ORNAMENT 2/3 (O).
- Use the MIRROR and take BRACELET ORNAMENT 3/3 (P).
- Take the LUBRICANT (Q).
- Take COIN 1/2 (R).
- Go to the Bridal Shop.
- Place the BRACELET ORNAMENT and take SCREAMING MASK part 2/3 (S).
- Zoom into the boxes and place the WEDDING BOUQUET for a mini-game (T).
- Solution (U).
- Flower solution: Y-X-W-V-Z-Y-X-W-Z-Y-X-Z.
- Take the DANCING GIRL (A).
- Go to Bernard's Room.
- Place the DANCING BOY and DANCING GIRL and take the PURPLE JEWEL (B).
- Go to the Bridal Shop.
- Place the PURPLE JEWEL for a mini-HOP (C).
- You receive SCREAMING MASK part 3/3.
- Go to Bernard's Room.
- Place the SCREAMING MASK for a mini-game (D).
- One possible solution is shown (E).
- Take the BACKROOM KEY (F).
- Go to the Bridal Shop.
- Use the BACKROOM KEY and go forward (G).
- Give the NEGATIVE to Stanley (H).
- Take the PROJECTOR NECKLACE (I).
- Play the HOP (J).
- You receive the TAILOR'S CHALK.
- Use the XYLOPHONE MALLET three times; take the ORNATE BUTTON (K).
- Place the ORNATE BUTTON and take the SEWING MACHINE FOOT (L).
- Take the SCISSORS, use the LUBRICANT and activate the machine (M); take the NEEDLE with the SEWING MACHINE FOOT (N).
- Walk down twice.
- Use the NEEDLE (O); take the POSTCARD (P).
- Go right and forward.
- Give the POSTCARD and TAILOR'S CHALK to Isabell and take the TAGGED MAP (Q).
- Walk down twice.
- Use the TAGGED MAP (R).
Chapter 6: The Floating Theater
- Take the HAND DRILL (S).
- Take the NUMBERS SEQUENCE (T) and SMOKE BALL (U).
- Open the clock, place the NUMBERS SEQUENCE and select the 5, 10 and 1; you receive the SYMBOL COMBINATION (V).
- Use the SCISSORS; you receive a BALLOON (W).
- Use the BALLOON and play the HOP (X).
- You receive a GOLDEN STATUE.
- Go right.
- Give Victoria the PROJECTOR NECKLACE (Y).
- Take the SMALL CYMBAL (Z).
- Place the GOLDEN STATUE and take the CROSSED PADDLES (A).
- Take the ORNATE BOW TIE (B); place the SYMBOL COMBINATION and change the symbols (C), and take the GUNPOWDER and FLARE (D).
- Walk down.
- Use the GUNPOWDER; you receive a FIRECRACKER (E).
- Go right.
- Place the FIRECRACKER and use the FLARE (F); take COIN 2/2 (G).
- Walk down.
- Place the SMALL CYMBAL and insert the COINS (H); take the COMPASS (I).
- Go right.
- Place the CROSSED PADDLES and COMPASS (J) for a mini-game (K).
- Go forward.
- Open the case and take the BANDAGE (L).
- Place the ORNATE BOW TIE and take the TIE PIN and CAMERA ORNAMENT 1/3 (M).

- Play the HOP (N).
- You receive a HELICOPTER.
- Use the TIE PIN and take the VACUUM HOSE (O).
- Walk down.

- Place the VACUUM CLEANER and move the hose; take the FULL VACUUM CLEANER (Q).
- Access the FULL VACUUM CLEANER, open it and take the PLANE (R).
- Place the HELICOPTER (S) for a mini-game (T).
- Go right.
- Use the SMOKE BALL (U).
- Play the HOP (V).
- You receive the PAINKILLERS.
- Take the HANDYMAN SIGN (W).
- Take the LION HEAD (X) and place the PLANE (Y); take the SCENERY CONTROLS MANUAL and MUSICAL NOTE (Z).
- Use the BANDAGE and PAINKILLERS (A); take the ALLEN KEY (B).
- Walk down.
- Place the HANDYMAN SIGN (C); take the DRILL HEAD and NIPPERS (D).
- Access the HAND DRILL and place the DRILL HEAD; you receive the HAND DRILL (E).
- Go right.
- Take the WHEEL with the NIPPERS (F).
- Walk down and forward.
- Use the HAND DRILL and play the mini-HOP (G).
- You receive CAMERA ORNAMENT 2/3.
- Place the WHEEL (H).
- Go forward.
- Move the hook (I) and place the SCENERY CONTROLS MANUAL and ALLEN KEY (J); turn all three handles.
- Play the HOP (K).
- You receive an EARRING.
- Take the BENT HAT (L).
- Walk forward.
- Use the EARRING (M); take the REEL (N).
- Go to the Balcony.
- Open the case and place the MUSICAL NOTE (O); take the FRET TAPE (P).
- Place the LION HEAD (Q); take CAMERA ORNAMENT 3/3 (R).
- Go to the Control Room.
- Use the FRET TAPE and plug in the device; place the BENT HAT, close the lid and take the JESTER HAT (S).
- Walk down.
- Place the JESTER HAT (T); take PUZZLE PIECE 1/2 (U).
- Go to the Helipad.
- Place the CAMERA ORNAMENTS for a mini-game (V).
- Solution (W): 7-1-8-9-6-8-9-9.
- Take the STAND HANDLE (X).
- Go to the Control Room.
- Use the STAND HANDLE and take the EMPTY REEL (Y).
- Walk down.
- Place the REEL and EMPTY REEL and take PUZZLE PIECE 2/2 (Z).
- Go forward.
- Place the PUZZLE PIECES for a mini-game (A).
- Take the CLEF KEY (B).
- Go to the Balcony.
- Place the CLEF KEY (C); take the TUNING WRENCH (D).
- Walk down and forward.
- Move the ladder (E).
- Read the note and take the CROWBAR (F).
- Use the TUNING WRENCH (G).
- Use the CROWBAR and take the NAIL (H).
- Place the NAIL and turn the handle (I).
- Talk to Nancy (J).
- Select the highlighted areas (K).
- Congratulations, you have completed Final Cut: Fame Fatale.
