General Tips
- The 'Options' (A) Button allows you to adjust the screen, music, cursor, and sound.
- The 'Click here to change player' (B) can be used to manage your profiles in the game.
- The 'Extras' (C) Button is only accessible in the Collector's Edition
- The HINT button only appears in HOS; it will not appear in regular scenes.
- The items in the HOS (Hidden Object Scenes) are random.
- Some puzzle solutions may be random.
- There are 24 CRYSTALS OF SOULS to find in the game. This guide marks all the crystals with the '@' symbol in the screenshots.
- Inventory items will stay in inventory until they are no longer needed.
Chapter 1: The Mayor's Office
- Click on the Mayor.
- Click on the painting to knock it down; zoom into it and take the STAINED GLASS (1).
- Examine the chair; take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@), the WRENCH (2), and read the NOTE (3).
- Zoom into the shoe; examine it and take the STAINED GLASS (4) and the SAFE KEY 1/3 (5).
- Examine the window; place the 2 STAINED GLASS pieces into it (6).
- Go through the window.
- Click on the little girl.
- Look at the window (A).
- Zoom into the left door; remove the 4 bolts with the WRENCH (B).
- Open the door and take the LEVER 1/2 (C) and SAFE KEY 2/3 (D).
- Head forward.
- Click on the dwarf.
- Zoom into the jacket; take the SPRING (E) and take the DIARY NOTE (F).
- Read the plaque (G).
- Click Down.
- Zoom into the right door and put the SPRING in the mechanism (H).
- Go through the door.
- Click on the little girl and you will receive the SAFE KEY 3/3 (I) after she stops talking.
- Take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Play the HOS.
- Remove the cloth and take the IRON (J) and the MASK (K).
- Click on the branch in the upper left; take the items marked in orange.
- Click on the cheese; take the NIBBLED CHEESE (L).
- Drag the GLUE (M) to the shards; take the JUG (N).
- SAFE HANDLE will be added to inventory.
- Click down twice.
- Play the HOS.
- Examine the book; take the MOSAIC FRAGMENT (O).
- Click on the globe; take AFRICA (P).
- Crack the egg and take the DUCKLING (Q).
- Open the scroll and take the CRAB (R).
- The MOSAIC FRAGMENT 1/4 will be added to inventory.
- Examine the safe; place the SAFE HANDLE on it (S).
- Use the 3 SAFE KEYS in the lock and click on each of the 3 keys.
- Turn the SAFE HANDLE; take the CHISEL (T) and read the DIARY NOTE (U).
- Go through the window and head right.
- Examine the back wall; use the CHISEL on the brick and click on the brick to remove it (V).
- Take the STRANGE KEY (W).
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the match to light it and drag the match (X) to the lamp; take the LAMP FLAME (Y).
- Drag the chalk (1) to the wall; take the HORSEMAN (Z).
- The GAFF HOOK will be added to inventory.
- Click down and head forward for a brief cut scene.
- Examine the debris; pull out the 5 logs with the GAFF HOOK (A).
- Head left.
- Examine the ground; collect the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@) and the HORSESHOE 1/2 (B).
- Zoom into the posters; remove the poster and take the DIARY NOTE which shows the lever positions (C).
- Examine the left window (D).
- Head towards the tower.
- Click on the dwarf.
- Play the HOS.
- Remove the cloth; take the TURKISH COFFEE POT (1).
- Open the box; take the BRACELET (2).
- Click on the burner; take the HOT CHOCOLATE (3).
- Examine the microscope (4); take the BACTERIUM (5).
- The SLATS will be added to inventory.
Chapter 2: The Playhouse
- Examine the window; take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Click down twice.
- Zoom into the water and place the SLATS over it to activate a puzzle (6).
- Place the planks in the correct order over the stones by dragging them into place.
- Please look at the screenshot for the solution. Use the dotted lines on each log as a placement guide (E).
- Head right.
- Examine the niche; loosen the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@) with the CHISEL and take it.
- Grab the HAMMER (F).
- Zoom into the vines; take the KNIFE (G) and the DIARY NOTE (H).
- Examine the gate; use the CHISEL on the lock (I).
- Tap the CHISEL with the HAMMER.
- Go through the gate.
- Click on the little girl.
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the party hat; take the SOLDIER (1).
- Click on the horse (2); pick up the CANDIES (3).
- Tear the cloth; take the SWORD (4).
- Drag the candle (5) to the light; take the BURNING CANDLE (6).
- Zoom into the horse head; take the CARROT (7).
- The CANDLE will be added to inventory.
- Examine the door; click on the button (8).
- Place the STRANGE KEY on the lock (9).
- Enter the playhouse.
- Click on the little girl.
- Take the ICE CANISTER (10).
- Click down 3 times; head left and go towards the tower.
- Examine the niche; use the CANDLE on the wax seal (A).
- Click on the 4 chains and take the CANNON BALL (B).
- Return to the playhouse area.
- Play the HOS.
- Open the door; take the PUZZLE PIECE (C).
- The PUZZLE PIECE will be added to inventory.
- Put the CANNON BALL on the empty side of the seesaw so it can knock down the bag (D).
- Examine the bag; open it and take CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@) and the FIRE CANISTER (E).
- Return to the tower.
- Play the HOS.
- Drag the KNIFE (F) to the watermelon (G); take the WATERMELON SEEDS (H).
- Drag the brush (I) to the garlic; take the RED GARLIC (J).
- The FLINT AND STEEL will be added to inventory.
- Zoom into the tower door; place the FIRE CANISTER and the ICE CANISTER on the device to trigger a puzzle.
- Click on two containers to mix 2 of the elements in order to create the missing element.
- Hover your mouse over each canister to read the name of the element. Fire (F), Ice (I), Metal (M), Ash (A), Steam Engine (SE), Wood (W), Ore (O), Water (H2O), Earth (E),and Steam (S).
- Fire and Wood creates Ash, Ice and Fire creates Water, Ash and Water creates Earth, Water and Fire creates Steam, Fire and Ore creates Metal, Steam and Metal creates Steam Engine.
Chapter 3: The Tower
- Enter the tower.
- Click on the dwarf.
- Take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@) on the bench.
- Examine the left side of the bench; take LEVER 2/2 (1).
- Examine the device on the left (2).
- Place the 2 LEVERS in the slots.
- Position the levers as shown in the screenshot in order to lower the stairs (4). This puzzle will not work unless you discovered the diagram that's outside.
- Go up the stairs.
- Play the HOS.
- Examine the wood; take the COIN (5).
- Remove the cloth; take the MASK (6).
- The MUG will be added to inventory.
- Zoom into the sconce; light it with the FLINT AND STEEL (7).
- Take the LADDER (8).
- Click down 4 times.
- Remove the rope on the side of the monument.
- Put the ladder on the side of the monument (K).
- Examine the bottom of the statue; take the KEY (L) and the BRONZE NAIL (M).
- Return to the tower and go upstairs.
- Zoom into the door; place the KEY in the lock (N).
- Turn the KEY and then turn the HANDLE.
- Go into the demon's den.
- Click on the little boy and he will be dragged away.
- Open the cabinet; zoom into it and take the 2 CRYSTALS OF SOUL (@).
- Examine the plaque; it says FEAR and GREED. (O).
- Zoom into the window; take the WOODEN MECHANISM (P) and the DIARY NOTE (Q).
- Examine the BOOK; run the KNIFE through the pages.
- Flip the page and take the STRANGE RECIPE (R).
- Click down 4 times.
- Examine the right door; place the WOODEN MECHANISM on the door to activate a puzzle.
- The robots can only pick up the barrels that match their color. Click on the robot's head to pick up or drop off a barrel.
- Click on the large circle to rotate the barrels.
- Click on the rotation button in the center to rotate the dummies.
- To solve the puzzle, please follow these steps: C, YR, R, BR, Y, RR, C x 2, Y, YR, R, RR, B, BR, C, YR, Y x 4, RR, C, Y, BR, C, B, BR, YR, C x 2, R x 2, YR, Y x 2, BR, C, R x 3, RR, YR, C x 2, B, RR, R x 2, YR, C, B x 3, BR, R x 3, RR, Y x 2, and YR.
Chapter 4: The Brewery
- Enter the brewery.
- Click on the ghost; click down after he finishes talking (S).
- Take the CRYSTALS OF SOUL (@) on the right.
- Zoom into the shield; Click on the 2 animal legs and take the COAT OF ARMS (T).
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the tap; take the POURING WINE (1).
- Zoom into the bottle; take the PEPPER (2).
- Examine the frame; take the SEAL (3).
- The SOLVENT will be added to inventory.
- Zoom into the table by the fireplace; use the SOLVENT on the medal and take the PUZZLE PIECE (4).
- Return to the second floor of the tower.
- Put the COAT OF ARMS on the shield on the wall (5).
- Examine the top of the coat of arms; take the PUZZLE PIECE (6) and the DIARY NOTE (7).
- Play the HOS.
- Open the locket; take the RED HEART (8).
- The STOUT KEY will be added to inventory.
- Return to the brewery.
- Examine the door; use the STOUT KEY on the lock and turn the key (9).
- Go through the door.
- Take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Examine the table; take the TROWEL (A).
- Click on the lever to open the book (B); read about the potion (C).
- Examine the basket; use the TROWEL in it to take some HOPS (D).
- Click down 3 times and head right.
- Zoom into the door and put the 3 PUZZLE PIECES on the door to activate a puzzle (E).
- Use the arrows and the center button to move the pieces in the center until you form the correct image.
- Use the Flip Button (F) to rotate the center image 180 degrees.
- To solve the puzzle follow these steps: R, F, R, L, F, F, L, F, R, and L.
Chapter 5: The Workshop
- Enter the workshop.
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the birdhouse; take the SONGBIRD (1).
- Remove the paper; take the PICTURE (2).
- The WIRE CUTTERS will be added to inventory.
- Zoom into the man; open the flap and take the MAGNIFIER (3).
- Click on the DIARY NOTE (4) in his hand.
- Click down and go up the steps.
- Open the left door to activate a HOS; play it (5).
- Click on the bottle; take the CHAMPAGNE FOAM (6).
- Drag the knife (7) to the door; take the LIGHTNING (8).
- The HEXAGONAL TILE 1/2 will be added to inventory.
- Click on the ceiling; cut the wires with WIRE CUTTERS (9).
- Remove the gate and go through the roof.
- Take the BRANCH (A).
- Click in the lower right (B).
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the soldier; take the TRUMPETER (C).
- The PLANKS will be added to inventory.
- Click down.
- Place the PLANKS over the gap (D).
- Examine the scroll; open it and read the NOTE (E).
- Go forward.
- Examine the window; use the BRANCH to retrieve the JACK (F) and take it.
- Take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Play the HOS.
- Open the purse; take the FLAG (G).
- The MIRROR will be added to inventory.
- Click down and head into the lower right side of the scene.
- Zoom into the bars on the right; use the JACK on the bars (H).
- Go through the bars.
- Examine the piano; take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Examine the window; take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Click down 4 times.
- Play the HOS.
- Open the drawer; take the DIPPER and the FLACON (I).
- The SET OF PINS will be added to inventory.
- Click on the lever (J).
- Zoom into the table and place the MIRROR and the MAGNIFYIER on the table to activate a puzzle.
- Slide the mirrors and adjust the magnifier so the light shines on the magnifying glass.
- Please look at the screenshot for the solution (K).
- Examine the wall; look at the drawing of the stairs (L).
- Return to the attic.
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the bell; take the JINGLE BELL (M).
- The PALETTE KNIFE will be added to inventory.
- Examine the cabinet; place the SET OF PINS on the board to activate a puzzle.
- Read the in-game instructions.
- Please look at the screenshot for the solution (N).
- The HORSE EMBLEM will be added to inventory.
- Click down; go into the lower right side and go through the back door.
- Zoom into the piano; place the HORSE EMBLEM (1) in the slot and take the FORKED KEY (2).
- Click down 3 times.
- Zoom into the chest; insert the FORKED KEY into the lock and click on the key to open the lock (3).
- Take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@), the HANDLE (4) and take the DIARY NOTE (5).
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the chair cushion; take the SPRING (6).
- The GLOVE will be added to inventory.
- Go through the roof and click in the lower right area.
- Play the HOS.
- Move the leaf; take the CATERPILLAR (7).
- Click on the flower; take the BLOOMING FLOWER (8).
- The SCOOP will be added to inventory.
- Examine the leftmost window; click on the 5 glass shards with the GLOVE and take HEXAGONAL TILE 2/2 (A).
- Head right.
- Zoom into the chest (B); insert the 2 HEXAGONAL TILES into the slots to activate a puzzle.
- Rearrange the hexagons to form the correct image.
- Click on any hexagon to rotate it.
- Please look at the screenshot for the solution (C).
- Look into the chest; take the INGREDIENT (D) and the DIARY NOTE (E).
- Return to the workshop.
- Zoom into the poster (F); remove it with the PALETTE KNIFE.
- Zoom into the mechanism; place the HANDLE on it (G).
- Turn the handle so you can lower the stairs; go down (H).
- Open the cabinet; zoom into it and take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@) and the DIARY NOTE (I).
- Zoom into the coals; use the SCOOP on the coals and take the COAL (J).
- Open the furnace and zoom into it.
- Place the COAL in the furnace and click on the lever (K).
- Switch the valves so the molten metal comes out of it.
- To solve the puzzle click on these valves: E, D, H, G, C, A, E, and J.
- The TAP will be added to inventory.
- Return to the brewery and go through the left door.
- Zoom into the mechanism; place the STRANGE RECIPE, the HOPS, and the INGREDIENT on the table.
- Create a potion using the recipe.
- Open the lid; place the BARLEY (B) in. Stir the barley with the PADDLE (PD).Close the lid. Set the pressure to 6 (P) and the temperature to 40 (T).
- Open the lid; place the BRINE (BR) in. Stir the brine with the PADDLE (PD).Close the lid. Set the pressure to 4 (P) and the temperature to 80 (T).
- Open the lid; place the HOPS (H) in. Stir the hops with the PADDLE (PD).Close the lid. Set the pressure to 8 (P) and the temperature to 60 (T).
- Open the lid; place the MAGIC POWDER (M) in. Stir the magic powder with the PADDLE (PD).Close the lid. Set the pressure to 12 (P) and the temperature to 100 (T) to solve the puzzle.
- Place the MUG below the barrel (1).
- Put the TAP on the barrel (2).
- Click on the tap and take the POTION.
- Click down.
- Play the HOS.
- Drag the coffee beans (3) to the coffee grinder and take the GROUND COFFEE (4).
- Drag the sponge (5) to the water (6); take the WET SPONGE ().
- Click on the calendar and then click on SUNDAY (7).
- The HANDLE will be added to inventory.
- Zoom into the ghost; give the POTION to the ghost (A).
- Go through the right door.
- Zoom into the DIARY NOTE and take it (B).
- Go forward.
- Take the CANE (C).
- Click down.
- Zoom into the basket on the ground. Use the CANE on the 2 bags (D).
- Examine the fallen basket; take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@) and the FISHING ROD (E).
- Go forward.
- Zoom into the water; use the FISHING ROD in the water and take the GEAR (F).
- Examine the mechanism; put the GEAR on it to activate a puzzle (G).
- Use the arrows in the center of each large circle to rotate the icons on them.
- Place the 2 icons on each circle that match the image in the center.
- Click on 'INSTALL' to enter your selection. You must repeat the above process until all 6 images have been placed correctly.
- Please look at the screenshot for the 6 solutions in order of appearance.
- Place the HANDLE on the mechanism and pull on it.
- Go forward towards the Mayor's house.
Chapter 6: The Mayor's House
- Examine the bushes; take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@) and MOSAIC FRAGMENT 2/4 (A).
- Go up the steps.
- Take the BLOWTORCH (B).
- Zoom into the steps; read the NOTE (C).
- Head left.
- Examine the back of the horse; put the BRONZE NAIL on the latch and click on the latch (D).
- Use the BLOWTORCH on the lock (E).
- Open the door and enter the horseman.
- Click on the 2 levers marked in yellow (F).
- Examine the back door to activate a puzzle.
- Click on the correct buttons so you can turn all the lights green.
- Click on 1, 2, and 4 to solve the puzzle.
- Go through the door.
- Zoom into the PIN (G) and take it.
- Click down.
- Zoom into the latching mechanism; place the PIN on each of the slots marked in red (H).
- Open the cover and take the ROUGH CLOTH (I).
- Go through the door.
- Place the ROUGH CLOTH over the wires (J).
- Go forward.
- Click on the dwarf.
- Zoom into the Mayor and then click on him (K).
- Click down.
- Take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Open the cabinet to trigger a HOS; play it (L).
- Drag the HAMMER (M) to the glass; take the BROKEN GLASS (N).
- Use the BLACK INK (O) on the tulip; take the BLACK TULIP (P).
- The WHEEL will be added to inventory.
- Go forward.
- Play the HOS.
- Open the envelope; take the POSTCARD (Q).
- Drag the POWDER (R) to the mirror; take the HANDPRINT (S).
- The ACID will be added to inventory.
- Take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Click down.
- Examine the statue in the back of the room; pour the ACID on the arm and take the SPEARHEAD (T).
- Go forward.
- Examine the painting; use the SPEARHEAD to remove the canvas and take the KEY PANEL (U).
- Go through the left door (V) to access Mike's room.
Chapter 7: Mike's Room
- Move the rocking animal out of the way (W).
- Zoom into the book; place the KEY PANEL on it (X).
- Open the book and take the CLUE SCROLL (Y).
- Examine the hat box; use the SPEARHEAD on the lid and take the PIN (Z).
- Click down.
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the globe; take the SNOW GLOBE (1).
- The SCREWDRIVER will be added to inventory.
- Zoom into the right door; place the 2 PINS in the lock (2).
- Go through the door and go down the steps.
- Click on the dwarf.
- Take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Examine the chair; place the WHEEL on it (3).
- Drag the SCREW (4) to the wheel.
- Use the SCREWDRIVER on the screw.
- Click on the chair to trigger a HOS on the painting; play it.
- Drag the KNIFE (5) to the lemon; take the SLICE OF LEMON (6).
- The APPLES will be added to inventory.
- Click down.
- Examine the wall; take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@) and the COAL (7).
- Zoom into the apple tree; put the APPLES on the tree (8) and take the GLASS TRIANGLE (9).
- Go through the next 2 left doors.
- Examine the top of the bookcase; put the GLASS TRIANGLE and the CLUE SCROLL on the board to activate a puzzle.
- Click on the tubes to transfer the colored sand in between the glass triangles.
- To solve the puzzle, click on the tubes in this order: C, C, B, B, B, and C.
- Examine the bookcase; take the DIARY NOTE (10) and the BANDAGES (11).
- Return to the Mayor's Office.
- Zoom into the window; take the DIARY NOTE (12).
- Examine the Mayor; give him the BANDAGES (13) to receive the MOSAIC FRAGMENT 3/4.
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the fan; take the POUCH and the STAR (14).
- The DOOR KNOB will be added to inventory.
- Return to the study.
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the peanut shell; take the PEANUTS (15).
- MOSAIC FRAGMENT 4/4 will be added to inventory.
- Examine the back door; put the DOOR KNOB on the lock (16).
- Click on both handles and go through the door.
- Zoom into the MOSAIC and place the 4 MOSAIC FRAGMENTS on the wall (17).
- Examine the handle; remove the 2 clamps and take the HANDLE (18).
- Return to the demon's den in the tower.
- Put the HANDLE on the rope (19).
- Click on the handle to go through the window.
Chapter 8: The Dwarf's Lair
- Play the HOS.
- Move the doll on the left (A) over to the one on the right; take the TWINS (B).
- Drag the pot (C) to the stove (D).
- Place the corn (E) in the pot; take the POPCORN (F).
- HORSESHOE 2/2 will be added to inventory.
- Examine the back door.
- Put the 2 HORSESHOES in the slots.
- Pull the lever (G).
- Go through the door.
- Examine the chair; use the COAL on the INSTRUCTIONS (A).
- Examine the cabinet; open the door and take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@) and the CONTROL PANEL (B).
- Zoom into the mechanism; take the FUSE (C).
- Click down.
- Examine the lamp; place the FUSE on the table to activate the puzzle (D).
- Assemble the lamp as shown in the screenshot (E).
- Turn the VALVE (F).
- The LAMP will be added to inventory.
- Play the HOS.
- Open the violin case; take the VIOLIN (F).
- The HOOKED CABLE will be added to inventory.
- Go forward.
- Zoom into the mechanism; flip the switch (G) and put the LAMP on the mechanism (H).
- Zoom into the back wall; put the CONTROL PANEL on the ground to activate a puzzle.
- Use the levers to navigate through the labyrinth using the instructions found on the chair.
- The left (L) and right (R) levers will make you go left and right respectively. Click on the center (C) lever to reset the puzzle.
- To solve the puzzle, click on the levers in this order: R, L, L, R, R, and L.
- Click on the dwarf once you reach the correct destination.
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the fan; take the ANCHOR and the SNAIL (1).
- The ROUND KEY will be added to inventory.
- Examine the well; put the HOOKED CABLE in the well (2) to retrieve the MACHINE LEVER 1/2.
- Head right.
- Zoom into the caged boy and talk to him (3).
- Exit the cage.
- Examine the ceiling; take the CROSS KEY (4).
- Click down.
- Examine the desk; use the CROSS KEY in the lock and turn the key (5).
- Take the CRYSTAL OF SOUL (@).
- Click down.
- Zoom into the drawers (6); use the ROUND KEY in the lock.
- Take the FREEZING LIQUID.
- Go forward.
- Play the HOS.
- Click on the eye; take the EYE CLOSED (7).
- The SLEDGEHAMMER will be added to inventory.
- Head right.
- Zoom into the cage; pour the FREEZING LIQUID on the lock (8).
- Hit the frozen lock with the SLEDGEHAMMER to open the cage.
- Talk to the boy and he will exit the cage.
- The MACHINE LEVER 2/2 will be added to inventory.
- Examine the machine; place the 2 MACHINE LEVERS on the mechanism (you must have the 24 crystals in inventory to activate the puzzle).
- Use the levers to move the colored honeycombs which transport the crystals.
- To solve the puzzle click on the levers in this order: B x 5, P x 5, R, G x 4, R, G, R x 2, and G x 2.
- Congratulations! You have completed Haunted Legends: The Bronze Horseman.
