General Tips

This is an Interactive Hidden Object Game.
Click on the Options button to adjust the Music, Sound, and Ambient Volumes; and choose between display options.
You can turn off the tutorial in Options.
In Options you can choose between Casual or Normal gameplay. In the Casual mode, hints recharge quicker, sparkles are turned on, and the cursor will change to a hand in areas requiring action.
If playing on Casual Mode, be sure to move your cursor around the screen to find areas or objects to interact with.
Click on the question mark in the lower left to get a hint.
Some items may be hidden in the scene and will require you to open or move objects to find them.
Random clicking will cause you to lose control of the cursor for a few seconds.
Click on the map to pull up puzzles or locations you have previously completed.
If you exit and have not completed the location, you will need to repeat that location when you start again.
When you are given a task to do, click on the pad and pencil in the lower right to get the directions again and click on “more info” when the border around it turns peach colored to get a diagram on what is required to succeed.
You may skip the mini-games. You’ll need to wait for the rectangle around the Skip button to turn orange before using it.
There are a few scenes which have a few differences in the list of hidden objects while replaying. Some of your objects may differ from those in this guide.
Press the Esc key or Menu to exit the game.

Level 1

Journalistic Investigations: Stolen Inheritance Case

Find all the items on the list. Your items may be different than mine.

Pick up the BLENDER KNOB and the JAR and click on the blender to zoom in.
Place the BLENDER KNOB and the JAR on the blender to assemble it.
Find the LEMON, STRAWBERRIES, and the COCKTAIL UMBRELLA.
Place the STRAWBERRIES in the blender and turn it on to get the SMOOTHIE FILLED JAR in inventory.
Use the SMOOTHIE FILLED JAR in inventory on the glass on the table. Use the LEMON and the COCKTAIL UMBRELLA from inventory on the glass.

Find all the items on the list.

Find the CLEANING SPRAY.
Click on the towel on the floor to get a close-up and spray the CLEANING SPRAY on it to get the SOLUTION SOAKED TOWEL in inventory.
Use the SOLUTION SOAKED TOWEL in inventory on the record on the floor to get a POLISHED RECORD.
Click on the record player to get a close-up and place the POLISHED RECORD on the record player.
Find the NEEDLE and place it on the record player.

Connect the circuitry so that all the green lights are lit at the same time.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a POCKET WATCH heirloom to add to your display case.

Level 2

Find the 13 differences in the picture.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a DAGGER heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the SCREWDRIVER and the PLIERS.
Click on the speakers on the bookshelf to get a close-up. Click again to turn the speaker around.
Use the SCREWDRIVER on the 4 screws on the back of the speaker.
Use the PLIERS on the BLUE WIRE.
Click on the bomb to get a close-up.
Attach the BLUE WIRE in inventory to the blue wire on the bomb.
Cut the red wire on the bomb with the PLIERS.

Click on the bomb and use the magnifying glass to find the 5 PIECES OF EVIDENCE on the bomb. See the screenshot for locations.
Place the EVIDENCE from inventory on the microscope; click on the top arrows to change the database slide to cotton.
Slide the bottom controls to adjust the focus on the sample and the database slides.
Click on the Compare Button to see if you have it set correctly. It will let you know if you are blurred or incorrectly set. See the screenshot for exact settings.

Find all the items on the list.

Collect the TOILET PAPER, HAIRDRYER, HAIRDRYER ATTACHMENT, and KNIFE.
Click on the envelope to get a close-up.
Use the TOILET PAPER on the envelope.
Combine the HAIRDRYER ATTACHMENT (in inventory) with the HAIRDRYER and use it on the envelope.
Use the KNIFE from inventory on the letter.

Level 3

Find all the items on the list.
You will get the EGYPTIAN CAT heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the 3 TELESCOPE PIECES.
Click on the eyeglasses, on the lower left, to get a close-up; remove the unbroken LENS.
Click on the glass on the table; take the PAPERCLIP from inside.
Click on the notebook left of the stairs; take the PAPERCLIP.
Click on the telescope case on the table to get a close-up.
Use the 2 PAPERCLIPS on the telescope case and then click on the lid to open it up.
Place the 3 TELESCOPE PIECES in the case and then put the LENS from inventory on the end of the telescope.

The object is to drag the zodiac symbols until a star is lined up in each hole. When correct they will light up and lock in place. See the screenshot for solution.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a PORCELAIN HORSEMAN heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the TAPE in the picture.
Click on the projector case and remove the BROKEN TAPE and the REEL.
Take the BROKEN TAPE and the REEL from inventory and use them on the splicer.
Use the TAPE on the BROKEN TAPE in the splicer and remove the FIXED REEL.
Place the FIXED REEL back into the projector.

Level 4

Find the 22 Map pieces.
Assemble the map by dragging the pieces into position.
The pieces are all in the correct position, there is no need to turn them. The finished map can be seen in the screenshot.

Find all the items listed in the picture.
You will get the GOLD COINS heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the NEEDLE, THREAD, PINK BOW, and 5 TEDDY BEAR PIECES.
Place the 5 TEDDY BEAR PIECES on the Teddy bear torso on the ground.
Place the PINK BOW on the Teddy Bear.
Combine the NEEDLE and the THREAD in inventory and use the result on the teddy bear.

Match the coins to remove them from the screen. You will be left with one rusty coin.

Find the CHEMICAL and the COTTON SWABS.
Click on the coin to get a close-up.
Use the CHEMICAL from inventory on the rusty coin by clicking and dragging the mouse across the coin till it is covered.
Use the COTTON SWAB on the chemical coated rusty coin by clicking and dragging the mouse across the coin.

Level 5

Find all the items on the list.
Click on the broken binoculars on the right to get a LENS.
Click on the hot dog stand and get a NAPKIN.
Click on the binoculars on the left to get a close-up and remove the broken lens.
Insert the LENS from inventory into the binoculars.
Use the NAPKIN on the dirty left lens.
Use the COIN in inventory on the binoculars.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get the ANTIQUE VASE heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the ANTENNA, the CABLE, and the CELL PHONE.
Click on the spy gadget in the sand to get a close-up and place the ANTENNA, CABLE, and CELL PHONE on the spots indicated in the close-up.
Click the red button on the spy gadget to see what was recorded.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get the FAN heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the SPRAYER and a PAPER SHEET. Take the torn sheet on the upper part of the pad and leave the sheet with the marker scribbles.
Hold the PAPER SHEET from inventory against the candle to get the code 542 and a circled 1.
Use the SPRAYER on the marker scribbles to reveal the code 378 and a circled 2.
Use the codes on the suitcase locks. Click on the tumblers to change the numbers.
Use 542 on the left one and 378 on the right one.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get the CASKET heirloom to add to the display case.

Level 6

Find the CD, BATTERIES, and the HEADPHONES.
Click once on the clock to get a close-up, and again to turn it around; click on the battery compartment to get to the BATTERIES.
Place the HEADPHONES and the BATTERIES on the CD Player before the CD.
Place the CD on the player.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get the STAMPS COLLECTION heirloom to add to the display case.

The goal is to attach all the chips on the circuit board.
You need to line up the orange wires with the holes in the board. They will light up when correct. See the screenshot for the solution.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get the GOLDEN CLOCK heirloom to add to the display case.
Assemble the broken plate. They will snap into place when correct. See the screenshot for the solution.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a GOLDEN FRAME heirloom to add to the display case.

Level 7

Find the CAMERA and the FILM.
Place the CAMERA on the tripod.
Click on the CAMERA to turn it around and click again to open it up.
Remove the green film in the camera and place the new roll of FILM from the inventory into the camera.
Close the case on the camera will take a photo.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a CASKET heirloom to add to the display case.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a PORCELAIN STATUETTE heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the 4 COINS and the 4 QUARTERS OF THE CIRCLE.
Click on the locked cabinet on the right side of the back wall.
Place the 4 COINS and the 4 QUARTERS OF THE CIRCLE on the locker door.
Take the NEGATIVES out of the opened locker.

Find the SPRAY PAINT, the SPRAY BOTTLE, and the DEVELOPING SOLUTION.
Use the SPRAY PAINT on the lamp.
Use the DEVELOPER SOLUTION on the tray.
Place the NEGATIVE in the tray after the solution is poured in; remove it when it develops into a photo.
Hang the PHOTO on the orange clip on the line.
Spray the hanging PHOTO with the SPRAY BOTTLE.

Move the cars out of the way of the red sports car so that the red sports car can move through to the exit.
Please look at Figure A for the Solution (same for B and C).

Level 8

Find all the items on the list.

Find the LIGHTER, PLATE (bowl), POISON, BRUSH, and POWDER in the scene.
Use the PLATE on the burner; add the POISON first and the POWDER next.
Use the LIGHTER on the burner.
Dip the BRUSH in the poison solution in the bowl (PLATE) and brush the poison onto the paper in the center of the desk.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a MUSIC BOX heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the INSTRUCTIONS, 3 HAIR DYE SOLUTIONS, A BRUSH, and the DICTIONARY.
Click on the instructions in the box until they come out fully; use the DICTIONARY on the INSTRUCTIONS.
Click on the bowl to get a close-up.
Empty the 3 SOLUTIONS in the bowl to make the hair dye.
Dip the BRUSH in the hair dye.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a GOLDEN CUP to add to the display case.

Find all the items on the list.

Level 9

Duplicate the floral arrangements using the options shown. See the screenshot for the solutions.

Find all the items on the list.

Find the NOZZLE and the HANDLE.
Click on the fire extinguisher to get a close-up.
Put the NOZZLE and HANDLE on the FIRE EXTINGUISHER.
Use the FIRE EXTINGUISHER on the fire.
Take the DOLL out of the burned out trunk.
You will get a DOLL heirloom to add to the display case.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a PISTOL heirloom to add to the display case.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a GOLDEN FRAME heirloom to add to the display case.

Level 10

Find the KEYS, BROOM, and LOCK PICKER.
Click on the transom to get a close-up of the trash.
Use the BROOM on the trash.
Click on the door to get a close-up.
Use the KEYS on the top lock.
Use the LOCK PICKER on the bottom lock from left to right on the 4, 1, 2, 5, 3 and 6 tumblers.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a CRYSTAL VASE heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the KETCHUP, MUSTARD, and HOT DOG.
Use the HOT DOG from inventory on the fire.
Use the GRILLED HOT DOG on the bun that is on the basket under the tree.
Put the KETCHUP and the MUSTARD on the HOT DOG.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a CANDELABRUM heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the BLUE RIBBON, WHITE RIBBON, MAGIC POWDER, JEWEL, and SCISSORS.
Use the SCISSORS to cut off the BLUE RIBBON and the WHITE RIBBON.
Click on the bow template to get a close-up.
Place the BLUE and WHITE RIBBON from inventory on the bow template.
Place the JEWEL from inventory in the center of the bow.
Sprinkle the finished bow with the MAGIC POWDER.

You will get a CANDELABRUM heirloom to add to the display case.

Level 11

Find the UTILITY KNIFE, 2 TASSLES, A CANVAS, and a RED CLOTH.
Place the JEWELED BOW in the blue box.
Click on a CANVAS and use it as a backdrop to the stage. In Casual Mode it will do this automatically when you pick it out from the canvas rolls.
Hang the RED CLOTH over the CANVAS backdrop.
Use the UTILITY KNIFE on the RED CLOTH to make a curtain.
Use the TASSLES on the left and right sides of the red curtain to tie them back.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a CASKET heirloom to add to the display case.
You will need to complete the painting by clicking and rotating the squares. See the screenshot for the solution.

Find the PITCHER, DRINK, and ROSE.
Use the PITCHER from inventory on the VASE on the table.
Pour the DRINK into the VASE.
Place the ROSE in the VASE.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a PORCELAIN STATUETTE heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the MILK, SUGAR, CHERRIES and VANILLA.
Place the CHERRIES and the SUGAR in the frying pan and turn the knob on the right to cook them.
Click on the blender to get a close-up.
Place the MILK, VANILLA, and CHERRY MIXTURE in the blender and slide the knob to the left to blend it.

Level 12

You need to create the cakes pictured by selecting the layers in order, starting with the bottom layer. See the screenshot for the solution.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a FAN heirloom to add to the display case.

Find the CAN LID, 7 SHOTGUN ROUNDS, MATCHES, LIGHTER FLUID, and FUSE.
Click on the table to get a close-up of the can.
Put the FUSE in the can.
Place the LIGHTER FLUID on the FUSE.
Place the SHOTGUN ROUNDS in the can.
Place the CAN LID on the can and get a BOMB in inventory.
Place the BOMB by the door on the right.
Use the MATCHES on the BOMB.

Find all the items on the list.
You will get a FABERGE EGG heirloom to add to the display case.

Find 3 LIGHTBULBS, STICKY TAPE, AND PAPER.
Place a LIGHTBULB in each of the 3 lamps.
Place the PAPER on the lamp to the right.
Use the STICKY TAPE on the sparking wires, on the upper right.
