General Tips
- You can scroll through the cut scenes faster by clicking anywhere on the screen or by clicking on the word “Next” in the lower right. “Skip All,” in the lower left, will skip the cut scene.
- When you click randomly on the scene it will become blurry for a few seconds.
- Puzzles can be skipped once the Skip Button in the upper right has been filled.
- The cylinder next to the Hint Button in the upper right of the screen displays your progress.
- Clicking on enchanted characters in the scenes will bring up new tasks in the Journal.
- The Hint Button can show hidden parts of a scene. Click those hidden areas to find MAPLE LEAVES and fragmented items.
- If there is nothing else to do in a scene, the Hint Button will take you to the map and show you the next area of interest.
- There are several, often hidden, MAPLE LEAVES to collect in each scene.
- Each leaf you find will fill a silhouette in the upper left of the scene.
- A green bookmark in the journal signifies that there are still MAPLE LEAVES to be found in a location. The leaf number corresponds to unfinished tasks, not undiscovered MAPLE LEAVES.
- You must collect all 65 leaves to complete the game.
- The Hint Button will not help you locate MAPLE LEAVES.
- Inventory items will appear as fragmented pieces in the lower part of your screen.
- As you find each fragmented piece it will disappear from the box below.
- A large box with smaller boxes beside it means a combination of smaller items will create a larger item.
- Fragmented Items that can be found in the same scene will be brightly colored. Items that cannot be found in the same scene will appear dark and cracked.
- Click on the boxes of the dark and cracked items to view the location in which they can be placed.
- Collected Inventory Items are stored in the lower right corner of the scene.
- Place inventory items on areas featuring Gears Icons.
- Inventory Items that belong in a different location will have tiny footsteps attached to them. Click on that box to view a thumbnail of where that item can be used.
- Some Inventory Items will be automatically combined with others.
- When your cursor touches an area that you can enter, a Walking Icon will appear.
- The Eye Icon appears when you can take a closer look at something, or obtain information about a particular item or person.
- The Down Arrow Icon will appear at the bottom of a scene if another scene in your current location is accessible.
- A Compass Icon will take you to the map.
- The “?” Icon opens in-game puzzles.
- The Hand Icon allows you to open doors or pick up items.
- The Gears Icon denotes a spot in which an Inventory Item can be used.
- When you pick up an Inventory Item, its icon will appear on your cursor.
- The Map can help you travel to different areas in the game.
- Click at the bottom of the scene to access the Map.
- You can also access different parts of the game by clicking on the sketch in your Journal.
- The Journal is in the upper left corner of the scene. It contains valuable game information, such as tasks, undiscovered MAPLE LEAVES, and more.
- The number outside the Journal tells you how many tasks need to be completed.
- Your tasks are listed on the left pages of the Journal. Completed tasks will be scratched off the list.
- The blue bookmark gives you access to the Story in the game and shows you how many MAPLE LEAVES you’ve collected.
- The green bookmark gives you access to each location and shows a Maple Leaf Icon if any MAPLE LEAVES remain undiscovered there.
- The number attached to the green bookmarks has to do with the incomplete tasks in that location.
- The Magnifying Glass in the lower right corner gives you a larger view of all the items in a scene.
- Left-click on the magnifying glass icon to pick it up; right-click to release it.
- Center an item beneath the Magnifying Glass and click to pick that item up.
Level 1
- Select the old man’s cabin on the right side of the map.
- Click on the front door and you will be asked to find the doorbell.
- Click on the DOORBELL above the roof and you will be asked to find several tools.
- Pick up the items marked in the screenshot.
- Click on the small window on the right side of the cabin for a closer look.
- Pick up the item inside the window.
- Place the PLIERS on the stump in the lower left to obtain the nails. The ladder pieces have all been gathered at this point.
- Place the HAMMER on the ladder pieces on the box in the lower left.
- Place the LADDER on the right side of the cabin.
- Pick up the DOORBELL on the right side of the roof.
- Click the Journal to view your tasks.
- Place the DOORBELL on the door.
- Click the DOORBELL; then click the door to unlock it.
- Go inside the cabin.
- Click on the old man to trigger a list of items at the bottom of the scene.
- Pick up the items as shown in the screenshot.
- Click on the shelves on the left for a closer look.
- Pick up the MATCHES on the middle shelf.
- Click on the book in the lower right to trigger a puzzle.
- Rotate the rings until the floral image is correctly aligned.
- Rings that are placed correctly will lock.
- Pick up the last SPOON fragment inside the box.
- Go outside.
- The 3 THISTLES are marked in green.
- The 4 DAISIES are marked in red.
- Place the EMPTY BUCKET on the barrel of water on the right side of the cabin to create the BUCKET WITH WATER.
- Go back inside.
- Place the BUCKET WITH WATER in the cauldron.
- Place the THISTLES and the DAISIES in the cauldron.
- Place the MATCHES on the firewood below the cauldron.
- Place the SPOON in the cauldron. You will be asked to find 2 cups once the spoon is done stirring the cauldron.
- Pick up the 2 EMPTY CUPS marked in yellow in the screenshot.
- Place the 2 EMPTY CUPS in the cauldron to obtain 2 CUPS OF TEA.
- Give the 2 CUPS OF TEA to the old man to trigger a cut scene.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF on the table, close to the cauldron.
- This location is disenchanted! Select the Blacksmith’s Lodge on the Map.
Level 2
- The 2 MAPLE LEAVES are circled in white.
- Click on the door to be given your item list.
- Pick up the 2 DOOR HANDLE pieces.
- Place the DOOR HANDLE on the door.
- Look for all the tools in the scene, marked in yellow in the screenshot.
- The LOG pieces are marked in green; the DULL PIECE OF TIN is marked in purple.
- Click on the hotspot in the lower left.
- Pick up the HALBERD piece inside the hotspot.
- Lift the anvil with the CROWBAR.
- Cut the log below the anvil with the SAW.
- Pick up the resulting 3 LOG PIECES.
- Place the LOGS below the anvil to roll it.
- Prop up the gutter above the door with the HALBERD.
- Put the DULL PIECE OF TIN on the whetstone next to the anvil to obtain a SHARPENED PIECE OF TIN.
- Cut a piece from the rag above the barrel with the SHARPENED PIECE OF TIN.
- Place the RAG in the oil pail, in the lower right, to obtain the OIL-SOAKED RAG.
- The OIL-SOAKED RAG goes on the rusty door hinges.
- Go through the door.
- The MAPLE LEAF is circled in white on the ground.
- Open the hotspot in the lower center and pick up the MAPLE LEAF inside.
- Click on the blacksmith.
- Click on the dagger above the stove. Look for all the fragmented items that pop up at the bottom of the screen.
- Once you’ve collected all the pieces of the BROKEN DRAWER KEY test it on the locked drawer on the right. You’ll find that it needs to be fixed with the smithy’s tools.
- Place the BROKEN DRAWER KEY on the workbench close to the window to trigger a puzzle.
- Drag the files to the teeth of the key you want to file down. A faint light will appear over the section of the key you will be filing.
- You may have to use 2 different files on certain teeth to achieve the desired results.
- A faint silhouette of the correct teeth can be seen behind the key to guide you.
- Any mistakes will reset the puzzle. Play close attention to the correct outline during each reset.
- The files have been labeled A through C; the teeth have been labeled 1 through 5. Place the files on the teeth as follows:1 – File “A” 2 Times 2 – File “A” 2 Times & File “B” 1 Time 3 – File “A” 4 Times 4 – File “A” 1 Time & File “B” 1 Time 5 – File “B” 1 Time
- The NEW KEY will be added to your inventory.
- Place the NEW KEY on the locked drawer behind the blacksmith.
- Pick up the FLINT inside the drawer.
- Go back outside.
- Pick up the SHOVEL HANDLE by the door.
- Pick up the SHOVEL HEAD inside the hotspot behind the barrel.
- Place the EMPTY COAL BOX close to the pile of coal in the lower left.
- Pick up the 2 PLANKS marked in green in the screenshot.
- Place the PLANKS on the empty coal box.
- Place the HAMMER on the empty coal box.
- Place the SHOVEL on the pile of coal in the lower left.
- Pick up the BOX OF COAL that is created.
- Go back inside.
- Place the BOX OF COAL next to the furnace.
- Place the SHOVEL on the box of coal.
- Place the STEEL AND FLINT in the furnace.
- Place the BELLOWS on the fire to be given a new list of items.
- Pick up all the items marked in the screenshot.
- Click on the drawer behind the blacksmith. Pick up the last BOLT next to the horseshoe.
- Place the PLIERS on the dagger on top of the furnace. The GLOVES will be used on the dagger when the pliers are picked up.
- The FORGED DAGGER goes into your inventory.
- The blacksmith wants you to fetch him some water.
- Pick up the window handle pieces marked in red.
- Place the WINDOW HANDLE on the window behind the blacksmith.
- Click on the open window for a closer look.
- Pick up the HOOK PIECE by the window sill.
- Place the HOOK on the KETTLE in the upper right.
- Click on the footsteps in the kettle icon to travel to the Old Man’s Cabin.
- Place the EMPTY WATER KETTLE on the barrel of fresh drinking water. The KETTLE OF WATER goes back into your inventory.
- Click on the KETTLE OF WATER in inventory to return to the Blacksmith’s Lodge.
- Give the KETTLE OF WATER to the blacksmith.
- This location is disenchanted! Go to the Fisherman’s Hut.
Level 3
- The MAPLE LEAF is circled in white in the lower right.
- Click on the front door and you will be asked to find the fisherman.
- Click on the upper right side of the hut to access the back of it.
- The sleeping cat in the lower left is clutching a key you can’t currently take.
- Click on the fisherman to find out that he is cursed and trigger a new task.
- Click at the bottom of the scene to return to the front of the hut.
- Pick up all the items marked in red.
- Pick up the CHEESE in the close-up of the basket in the lower right.
- Pick up the EMPTY CAGE inside the hotspot on the lower left side of the hut.
- Place the MOUSETRAP on the ground near the barrel.
- Place the CHEESE in the mousetrap.
- Place the EMPTY CAGE on the occupied mousetrap to create the MOUSE IN A CAGE.
- Go behind the hut.
- Place the MOUSE IN A CAGE on the cat in the lower left.
- Pick up the KEY after the cat moves.
- The MAPLE LEAF is circled in white in the lower right.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the tree hotspot, on the right.
- Go to the front of the hut.
- Place the KEY on the locked door to break the sign above.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the hotspot above the door.
- Pick up the KEY in the hotspot.
- Put the KEY on the locked door.
- Click on the crowbar item box in the lower left corner to return to the Blacksmith’s Lodge.
- Click on the hotspot to the right of the furnace.
- Pick up the CROWBAR inside the hotspot.
- Click on the CROWBAR in the inventory box to be returned to the Fisherman’s Hut.
- Remove the hanging sign above the door with the CROWBAR.
- Go inside.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower center.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the hotspot on the ceiling.
- Pick up the CAN OF BARLEY in the hotspot.
- Pick up the BURNER SUPPORT in the hotspot.
- Pick up the BURNER WICK in the lower left hotspot.
- Pick up the BURNER BASE in the lower left corner.
- Go outside.
- Place the CAN OF BARLEY in the shallow water in the lower right to create WATER-SOAKED BARLEY.
- Go back inside.
- Place the WATER-SOAKED BARLEY on the burner in the lower left to cook it.
- Pick up the FISH FOOD on the burner.
- Go to the back of the hut.
- Place the FISH FOOD on the left side of the water. The fisherman will wake up after a few seconds.
- Give the FORGED DAGGER to the fisherman.
- Pick up the SHOVEL pieces marked in red in the screenshot.
- Return to the front of the hut.
- Pick up the PAIL handle marked in red.
- Pick up the EMPTY TIN CAN in the hotspot below the left side of the hut.
- Place the SHOVEL on the fertile soil in the lower left.
- Place the EMPTY TIN CAN on the worms in the hole, in the lower left.
- You now have a CAN OF WORMS in inventory.
- Go inside the hut.
- Pick up the items marked in green and white.
- Pick up the PLIER PART inside the hotspot in the lower left.
- Open the small door marked in red, near the ladder.
- Click on the TACKLE BOX to trigger a puzzle.
- Correct pieces will lock into place.
- Moving pieces aside can give you a better look at the board.
- You will find that one hook is missing.
- Place the PLIERS on the hook attached to the fish above the doorway.
- The TACKLE BOX will be added to your inventory.
- Go to the back of the hut.
- Give the TACKLE BOX and the FISHING ROD to the fisherman.
- Give the PAIL and the CAN OF WORMS to the fisherman.
- Find the items that appear at the bottom of the scene.
- Pick up the SLINGSHOT inside the tree knot.
- The collected pieces will create a FORKED BRANCH in your inventory.
- Go back to the front of the hut.
- Place the FORKED BRANCH on the signpost below the seagull in the upper left.
- Pick up the FEATHER that falls in the lower left.
- Go inside the hut.
- Pick up the CORKSCREW in the lower left hotspot.
- Get the CORK from the bottle in the lower left with the CORKSCREW.
- Place the FEATHER on the burner in the lower left to create a BURNT FEATHER.
- Place the BURNT FEATHER on the CORK in the box on the lower left to make a BOBBER.
- Go to the back of the hut.
- Give the BOBBER to the fisherman.
- Go back to the front of the hut.
- Pick up the IRON BAR from the grass near the stump.
- Place the IRON BAR on the trap by the stump.
- Place the CORKSCREW on the barrel close to the door.
- The PAIR OF BOOTS will go into inventory.
- Go to the back of the hut.
- Give the PAIR OF BOOTS to the fisherman. He’ll go to the front of the hut.
- Click on the fisherman to receive instructions on what to do next.
- This location is disenchanted. Go to the Castle Gates!
Level 4
- Click on the mechanism on the right side of the scene.
- Find all the items in the item list.
- The MAPLE LEAF is in the upper part of the guard’s hut.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and BOLT inside the green-outlined hotspot in the guard’s hut.
- Pick up the BONE inside the yellow-outlined hotspot in the guard’s hut.
- Place the COGWHEEL and the CHAIN on the mechanism. The mechanism that releases the deadbolt is broken.
- Go back to the inside of the Fisherman’s Hut.
- Pick up the DOG BOWL in the ceiling hotspot.
- Go back to the Castle Gates.
- Place the DOG BOWL on the dog; the BONES will land in the plate.
- Click on the Bag icon to be transported to the Fisherman’s Hut.
- Pick up the BAG on the roof of the hut.
- Go to the back of the hut.
- Place the BAG over the cat to create the BAG WITH A CAT.
- Go back to the Castle Gates.
- Give the BAG WITH A CAT to the dog.
- Pick up the HANDLE on the floor to complete the MECHANISM HANDLE.
- Place the MECHANISM HANDLE on the mechanism.
- Clicking the mechanism will break a cog and wake the guard.
- Choose the Guard’s Residence on the Map.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF on the right side of the house.
- Click on the door. Pick up all the items in the item list.
- Place the WOODEN RUNGS on the ladder on the right.
- Place the LADDER on the side of the house missing the roof tiles.
- Place the ROOF TILES on the right side of the roof.
- Place the TWIG on the attic door above the roof.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and the WHEEL PART in the attic hotspot, behind the attic door.
- Place the WHEEL on the wheelbarrow on the side of the house.
- Place the WHEELBARROW on the cannon muzzle blocking the front door.
- Enter the residence.
- Click on the recipe attached to the post.
- The MAPLE LEAVES are circled in white.
- Pick up the BREAD in the lower left corner.
- Go outside.
- Pick up the items marked in red.
- Pick up the LONG ROPE from the hotspot behind the logs in the lower left.
- Place the WELL PULLEY on the well hook.
- Drop the BUCKET down the well. While retrieving the bucket, the rope breaks and the bucket falls into the well.
- Try to place the LONG ROPE on the well to receive a new task.
- Click on the cannon on the left; it will roll towards the well.
- Attach the REST OF THE LONG ROPE to the wheelbarrow.
- Click on the well to go inside.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAVES inside the well.
- Pick up the TRIGGERING DEVICE on the upper right.
- Click on the BUCKET to obtain the BUCKET WITH WATER.
- Click on the top, or bottom, of the well to leave; then go back inside the house.
- Click on the recipe attached to the post.
- Pick up the MATCHES in the cauldron by the fireplace.
- Place the MATCHES on the unlit candle above the fireplace.
- Click on the CANDLE to add it to your inventory.
- Place the CANDLE on the invisible recipe box in the lower left corner to trigger a puzzle.
- The recipe will become visible once you’ve fill the bar at the bottom of the screen.
- The GLUE RECIPE will be added to your inventory.
- Pick up the PESTLE on the table.
- The MORTAR is on the lower right corner.
- Go outside.
- Pick up the DRIED PITCH from the tree.
- You now have the INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING GLUE.
- Place the INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING GLUE on the bucket on the well.
- Go to the Castle Gates.
- Place the GLUE on the broken cogwheel on the ground near the guard.
- Attach the COGWHEEL to the mechanism.
- Click on the puzzle on the statue’s base, behind the foliage.
- Buttons in the correct slots will protrude from the holes. Incorrectly placed buttons will remain flat.
- Please look at the screenshot for some random solutions.
- Go back to the inside of the guard’s residence after you’ve solved the puzzle.
- Click on the gun part, on the table, to get your item list.
- Pick up all the items marked in red.
- Pick up the BULLETS inside the hotspot in the upper right.
- Piece together the gun using the BARREL, FORESTOCK, LOCK, and TRIGGER, in that order.
- Place the BULLETS in the gun; the RAMROD will be added as well.
- You now have a LOADED GUN in inventory.
- Go back to the Castle Gate.
- Give the LOADED GUN to the guard.
- Give the TRIGGERING DEVICE to the guard.
- Click on the mechanism.
- This location is disenchanted. Go to the Garden!
Level 5
- Pick up the MAPLE PIECES circled in white in the screenshot.
- Click on the picture piece the gardener is holding.
- Find the picture pieces in the scene, marked in blue.
- Pick up the PICTURE PIECE in the hotspot on the lower right.
- Place the PICTURE PIECES on the gardener’s picture piece.
- Click on the PICTURE PIECES that fall on the ground to trigger a puzzle.
- Some pieces have already been added to the puzzle; use those as a guide.
- Correctly placed pieces will lock in.
- Click on the left side of the scene to access the other side of the garden.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower center.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower left hotspot.
- Click on the flowers at the base of the statue.
- Go back to the main garden.
- Pick up all the items marked in red.
- Pick up the watering can HEAD in the hotspot near the vase.
- Go back to the left side of the garden after you pick up all the items.
- Place the FLOWERPOTS on the flowers at the base of the statue.
- The FLOWERS IN THE POTS will be added to your inventory.
- Return to the garden.
- Place the FLOWERS IN THE POTS in the flowerpot near the fountain.
- Place the WATERING CAN on the flowers you just potted.
- The gardener wakes up.
- Follow the path of lanterns on the right side of the garden.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAVES circled in white in the screenshot.
- Click on the musician.
- Go back to the main garden.
- Click on the gardener.
- Get the SUNFLOWER SEEDS from the sunflower in the lower right.
- Pick up the PICKAXE pieces in the scene.
- Place the PICKAXE on the little door above the fountain.
- Click on the little door to trigger a puzzle.
- You cannot have any open ends in the puzzle and all the pieces must be used.
- Click on the hotspot in the fountain for a closer look.
- Go the left side of the garden.
- Pick up the DOOR PROP in the upper right.
- Pick up the ROPE in the lower left hotspot.
- Go back to the inside of the Fisherman’s Hut.
- Pick up the BIRDCAGE FOR THE NIGHTINGALE in the hotspot amongst the hanging fish.
- Go back to the left garden.
- Set the BIRDCAGE FOR A NIGHTINGALE on the ground.
- Place the DOOR PROP on the cage.
- Place the SUNFLOWER SEEDS inside the birdcage.
- Pick up the BIRDCAGE once the bird flies in.
- Go to the right garden.
- Place the BIRDCAGE on the musician.
- The KINGDOM’S ANTHEM goes into your inventory.
- Go to the main garden.
- Place the KINGDOM’S ANTHEM on the vent in the fountain hotspot.
- Go back to the right garden.
- The melody has lowered the bridge.
- This location is disenchanted. Proceed to the Cook’s House.
Level 6
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF circled in white.
- Click on the cook.
- Pick up the SALT in the hotspot, in the upper right corner.
- Go to the Fisherman’s Hut.
- Give the SALT to the fisherman.
- Go back to the Cook’s House.
- Click on the steps on the left side of the house to go upstairs.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF on the bottom bunk.
- Pick up the RECIPES marked in red.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the closet hotspot.
- Pick up the RECIPE in the closet hotspot.
- Once you have the RECIPES, the ingredients will appear at the bottom of the scene.
- Go downstairs.
- Click on the small door in the lower left corner.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and the KNIFE in the drawer hotspot, near the cook.
- Cut the knot on the small door with the KNIFE.
- Go through the door.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF circled in the screenshot.
- As you pick up some items, others will appear on the list.
- Pick up the item marked in red in the screenshot.
- Pick up the bowl marked in the hotspot in the upper right corner.
- That hotspot will close; reopen it.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and BOWL OF SUGAR in the hotspot.
- Click on any of the locks in the room.
- Go back to the Fisherman’s Hut.
- Pick up the DRIED FISH hanging near the ladder.
- The fisherman gives you the SALT.
- Go to the Blacksmith’s Lodge.
- Give the DRIED FISH to the blacksmith.
- The blacksmith hands you the MASTER KEY.
- Go back to the basement in the Cook’s House.
- Unlock as many locks as you can with the MASTER KEY.
- You will be unable to open the lock in the upper center.
- Click at the bottom of the scene to return to the kitchen.
- Take the FIREPLACE POKER from the hood of the stove.
- Go back to the basement.
- Place the FIREPLACE POKER on the lock in the upper center.
- Pick up the EMPTY BOTTLE in the cabinet.
- Place the EMPTY BOTTLE on the wine barrel in the lower right. The CORKSCREW will automatically uncork the barrel and fill up the bottle.
- This location is disenchanted. Go to the Mill.
Level 7
- Click on the miller.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower left corner.
- The GRAIN FLAIL is just left of the miller.
- Pick up the MILLSTONES in the lower center.
- Place the MILLSTONES on the ground near the miller.
- Go inside the Mill.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAVES circled in white in the screenshot.
- Pick up the WHEAT BUNDLE on the right.
- Go back outside.
- Place the WHEAT BUNDLE on the millstones.
- Separate the wheat in the bundle with the GRAIN.
- Place the WHEAT on the millstones to break the miller’s spell.
- Pick up the PLANKS marked in red.
- Open the hotspot below the wheelbarrow.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and PLANK in the hotspot below the wheelbarrow.
- Place the PLANKS on the right, above the water wheel.
- Go back inside.
- Pick up all the items marked in yellow.
- Place the BARREL on the tar barrel in the lower right to fill it with tar.
- Go back outside.
- Pick up the GRAIN BRUSH on the wheelbarrow.
- Cut the flax plant in the lower right with the SICKLE.
- Place the GRAIN BRUSH on the cut flax in the lower right.
- The FLAX BRUSH goes into your inventory.
- Apply tar to the drain above the water wheel with the FLAX BRUSH.
- Go back inside.
- Click on the mill; look for the pegs marked in red in the screenshot.
- Pick up the PEG in the lower right hotspot.
- Place the PEGS on the mill.
- Go outside and ask the miller where to find fresh grain.
- Go to the Castle Gates.
- Ask for, and receive, the KEY TO THE KING’S STOREROOM from the guard.
- Go to the King’s Storeroom.
- The KEY TO THE KING’S STOREROOM is exhausted upon reaching the storeroom.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF circled in white in the lower left.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the upper left hotspot.
- Pick up the BAG OF GRAIN on the right.

- Go inside the mill.
- Try to pour the BAG OF GRAIN in the slot in the upper left..
- Go outside.
- Pick up the PAPER CONE in the hotspot under the building.
- Go inside.
- Place the BAG OF GRAIN in the upper left, above the grinding mechanism; the PAPER CONE will automatically be used to catch the grain.
- Go outside and ask the miller about the other ingredients.
- This location is disenchanted. Go to the Farm!
Level 8
- The mirror will appear at the bottom of the scene once you’ve clicked the rooster in the upper right.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower left.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the hotspot below the rooster.
- Go inside.
- Click on the farmer.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the upper left hotspot.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the upper right hotspot.
- Go outside; click right to access the barn.
- Click on the left chicken.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower left.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower right.
- Click at the bottom of the scene to go outside.
- Pick up the items shown at the bottom of the scene.
- Pick up the flowers marked in red.
- Pick up the FLOWER in the hotspot below the steps.
- Grab the PITCHFORK on the left edge of the scene.
- Place the PICTHFORK on the pile of hay.
- Go to the barn.
- Place the FLOWERS on the cow.
- Feed the HAY to the cow.
- Go to the farmhouse and speak with the farmer.
- Go back to the Guard’s Residence.
- Pick up PLUMS from the plum tree.
- Go back to the Cook’s House and up the left steps.
- Pick up the MIRROR on the right, inside the closet door.
- Go back to the Farm.
- Disenchant the rooster with the MIRROR.
- Go to the Mill.
- Go inside the mill.
- Pick up the GRAIN in the upper left.
- Go back to the Barn.
- Feed any one of the chickens with the GRAIN.
- Go back to the Farmhouse.
- Go inside.
- Click on the farmer; she will leave to milk the cow.
- Pick up the items marked in red.
- Pick up the BARREL in the upper right hotspot.
- The BUTTER CHURN will be added to your inventory.
- Go back outside.
- Give the BUTTER CHURN to the farmer.
- The farmer gives you MILK, BUTTER, and EGGS.
- Go into the farmhouse.
- Click on the trapdoor on the right side of the floor.
- Pick up the LANTERN in the upper left hotspot.
- The RING is in the upper right.
- Place the RING on the trapdoor.
- Place the LANTERN on the open trapdoor.
- Pick up the APPLES in the cellar.
- The CAKE will go into your inventory.
- Go to the Cook’s House.
- Open the oven door.
- Pick up the open BAG near the cook.
- Pick up the BAKING SHEET behind the stovetop.
- Go to the Blacksmith’s Lodge.
- Go inside.
- Place the BAG on the BOX OF COAL in the lower left to create the BAG OF COAL.
- Go to the Old Man’s Cabin.
- Pick up the KINDLING behind the wheelbarrow.
- Go back to the Cook’s House.
- Place the BAKING SHEET in the oven top.
- Place the KINDLING, BAG OF COAL, and MATCHES in the oven bottom.
- Go upstairs
- Pick up the FAN in the upper right.
- Go back downstairs.
- Place the FAN on the oven top to disenchant the cook.
- Go back to the Farm.
- Talk to the farmer.
- Go inside.
- Pick up the SPOON hanging from the lower shelf.
- Pick up the BOWL on the table.
- Go back outside.
- Give the BOWL and SPOON to the farmer.
- Go to the Doctor’s Quarters.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAVES circled in white.
- Go inside.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF by the window sill.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and VANILLA STICKS in the cabinet hotspot.
- Go outside.
- Click on the hive box on the right.
- Pick up the HAT PIECES marked in red in the screenshot.
- Go inside.
- Pick up the SMOKER pieces marked in yellow.
- Pick up the SMOKER piece in the lower right hotspot.
- Go outside.
- Use the SMOKER and HAT on the hive box.
- Pick up the BIRCH BARK BUCKET in the fountain’s hotspot.
- Go inside.
- Pick up the SCRAPER on the table.
- Go outside.
- Place the SCRAPER and BIRCH BARK BUCKET on the hive box.
- Go to the Old Man’s Cabin.
- Go inside.
- Talk to the old man.
- Go to the main garden.
- Talk to the gardener.
- Pick up the GARDEN SHEARS on the ground, near the purple potted flowers.
- Cut the ROSES in the lower right with the GARDEN SHEARS.
- Go to the Mill.
- Talk to the miller.
- Go to the King’s Storeroom.
- Pick up the OLIVE OIL on the shelf amongst the jars and kettles.
- Take a WALNUT from the basket on top of the rightmost shelf.
- Go to the Old Man’s Cabin.
- Go inside.
- Give the old man the OILVE OIL and ROSES.
- Go to the Mill.
- Trade the WALNUT to the squirrel on the tree branch for some PINE NUTS.
- The CAKE will go into your inventory.
- Go to the Cook’s House.
- Give the CAKE to the cook.
- Go upstairs to her chambers.
- Pick up the FROSTING BAGS marked in red.
- Take the CAKE KNIFE from the upper left hotspot.
- Go downstairs.
- Give the CAKE KNIFE and FROSTING BAGS to the cook.
- Click on the CAKE in the lower right to trigger a puzzle.
- Choose your frosting bag and apply it to the desired areas. Once a frosting bag is selected, you can use that color an indefinite number of times. Click on another bag when you want to switch colors.
- Decorations that are correct in size, color, and position will sparkle.
- Flower size depends on your clicking. Click once for small roses, twice for medium roses, and three times for large roses.
- Use the cake knife to fix any mistakes.
- Pick up the decorated CAKE in the lower right after you’ve solved the puzzle.
- This location is disenchanted! Go to the Throne Hall.
Level 9
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAVES circled in white.
- Disenchant the king with the CAKE.
- Go to the Seamstress’ Quarters.
- Click on the seamstress to receive a new task.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower right.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and LADLE in the dressing screen hotspot.
- Pick up the IRON on the table.
- The SHEET is above the fireplace.
- Place the SHEET on the table.
- Dip the LADLE in the pitcher of water above the fireplace.
- Place the LADLE OF WATER on the wrinkled sheet.
- Wake the seamstress by placing the IRON on the sheet.
- Go to the King’s Storeroom.
- Pick up the SPOOLS OF GILDED THREAD in the upper left, lower left, and right hotspots.
- Pick up the rest of the items marked in white.
- Go to the Seamstress’ Quarters.
- Give the seamstress the SPOOLS OF GILDED THREAD and CLOTH.
- Collect the SCISSORS from the basket of yarn hotspot, on the table.
- Go to the Blacksmith’s Lodge.
- Sharpen the SCISSORS on the whetstone, on the stump near the anvil.
- Go back to the seamstress.
- Give the SHARPENED SCISSORS to the seamstress.
- Click on the cloths on the table to trigger a puzzle.
- Run your cursor around the entire area marked on the cloth to cut it. There’s no need to click.
- Once the cloth has been cut correctly, the cut piece will separate from the rest of the fabric and a new piece of cloth will appear.
- You must cut four pieces of cloth to complete the puzzle.
- Go to the Farm.
- Talk to the farmer; she’ll give you a BAG.
- Go to the Doctor’s Quarters.
- Click on the garden area behind the hive box in the far right.
- Pick up the SCRAPER (SHOVEL) hidden under the bench on the left.
- Place the SCRAPER (SHOVEL) on the garden behind the hive box.
- Create a BAG OF POTATOES by gathering potatoes from the garden with the BAG.
- Go to the Farm.
- Trade the BAG OF POTATOES to the farmer for some STARCH.
- Go back to the Seamstress’ Quarters.
- Give the STARCH to the seamstress.
- Pick up the queen’s gown on the left.
- Go to the Throne Hall.
- Give the QUEEN’S GOWN to the queen.
- Go to the garden.
- Go to the right.
- Talk to the musician.
- Go to the Music Room.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and PHONOGRAPH HORN in the fireplace hotspot.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and BOW in the piano hotspot.
- Pick up the rest of items marked in the screenshot.
- Go to the right side of the garden.
- Give the GUITAR, VIOLIN, and FLUTE to the musician.
- The PHONOGRAPH will stay in your inventory.
- This location is disenchanted! Go to the Princess’ Chamber.
Level 10
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower center.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF from the oval frame hotspot, left of the bed.
- Place the PHONOGRAPH on the table in the lower right.
- Talk to the king in the Throne Room.
- Go to the Castle Gates.
- Talk to the guard.
- Go to the Guard’s Residence.
- Go inside.
- Pick up the HACKSAW hidden at the top of the post.
- Open the hotspot on the left and pick up the CHINESE GUNPOWDER.
- Go to the Belfry Tower.
- Click on the cannon on the right.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF on the lowest shield.
- Pick up the CANNONBALL inside the cannonball box hotspot.
- Pick up the HALBERD in the lower left.
- Place the HALBERD on the chest’s lock.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF and WICK inside the open chest hotspot.
- Place the HACKSAW on the CANNONBALL box in the lower left corner.
- Add the WICK and CANNONBALL to the cannon.
- Talk to the king in the Throne Hall.
- Go to the Old Man’s Cabin.
- Go inside.
- Talk to the old man.
- This location is disenchanted! Go to the Witch’s Den.
Level 11
- Click on the door.
- Click on the shining piece above the doorway.
- Go to the Old Man’s Cabin; go inside.
- Talk to the old man.
- Go to the Royal Library.
- You can only pick up the glowing books using the magnifying glass in the lower right corner.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF on the book in the lower right.
- Pick up the MAGNIFYING GLASS in the lower right corner.
- Place the magnifying glass in the lower right corner.
- Click on the glowing book in the lower right corner.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the hotspot near the ladder.
- Find the rest of the books in the room (5 in total).
- The BOOKS ON BLACK MAGIC will go into your inventory.
- Go to the Old Man’s Cabin.
- Give the old man the BOOKS ON BLACK MAGIC.
- Pick up the CANDLE WAX on the table.
- Go back to the Throne Hall.
- Speak with the king and queen to receive the PEARL and GOLD COIN.
- Go to the Royal Library.
- Pick up the BAG FOR DUST on the table in the lower left.
- Click on the large book to trigger the appearance of new items.
- Pick up the HANDLE on the right.
- Go to the Witch’s Den.
- Collect the CAPPED MUSHROOMS near the fallen tree.
- Go to the Seamstress’ Quarters.
- Receive THREAD from the seamstress.
- Go to the Farm.
- Go right to access the barn.
- Pick up the FEATHERS marked in green.
- Pick up the feather inside the wooden crate hotspot.
- The FEATHER BRUSH will go into your inventory.
- Go to the Royal Library.
- Place the FEATHER BRUSH and BAG FOR DUST on the large book on the table.
- The DUST OF CENTURIES BAG goes into your inventory.
- Go to the Old Man’s Cabin.
- Go inside.
- Place the PEARL, GOLD COIN, CANDLE WAX, and CAPPED MUSHROOMS into the cauldron.
- Pick up the white CUP next to the old man.
- Collect the broth from the cauldron with the CUP, creating the CUP WITH POTION.
- Go to the Witch’s Den.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF on the left.
- Collect the MAPLE LEAF from the lower right hotspot.
- Place the CUP WITH POTION near the door.
- Place the DUST OF CENTURIES BAG on the Cup of Counterspell Potion; go through the door.
- Click on the ceiling to trigger a ladder construction task.
- Go outside.
- Pick up all the pieces marked in the screenshot to create the LADDER.
- Go inside.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF on the left.
- Collect the MAPLE LEAF from the upper right hotspot.
- Use the LADDER to climb into the attic through the ceiling hole.
- Pick up the MAPLE LEAF in the lower right.
- Collect the MAPLE LEAF in the chest hotspot. (This is the 65th and final MAPLE LEAF!)
- Collect the SPHERE OF EQUILIBRIUM from the door hotspot.
- Go to the left side of the garden.
- Give the SPHERE OF EQUILIBRIUM to the ghost.
- Go to the Throne Hall.
- Talk to the king.
- Go to the Princess’ Chamber.
- Collect the LOCKET hidden in the chest hotspot.
- Collect the DIARY from the stack of boxes hotspot.
- Open the chest again and pick up the KEY.

- Go to the Royal Library.
- Place the PRINCESS’ LOCKET in the hotspot behind the ladder.
- Click on the BOOK OF MAGIC MEDICINE.
- Go back to the Old Man’s Cabin and give him the BOOK OF MAGIC MEDICINE.
- Go to the attic in the Witch’s Den.
- Click the book on the ground.
- Pick up the items marked in red.
- Collect the BAT from the chest hotspot.
- Collect the SPIDERWEB from the basket hotspot.
- Collect the FROG from the hotspot in the bottles.
- Go outside.
- Pick up the MUSHROOM in the lower center.
- Collect the other MUSHROOMS from the lower right and lower left hotspots.
- Go inside.
- Place the MUSHROOMS in the mortar and pestle on the table.
- The SEARCHING POTION goes into inventory.
- Gather the LOGS.
- Collect the LOG from the upper right hotspot.

- Place the LOGS, TINDER, and MATCHES in the oven.
- Place the SEARCHING POTION in the fire.

- Give the old man the PAGE FROM THE MAGIC MEDICINE BOOK.
