General Tips
- This is the official guide for Mayan Prophecies: Cursed Island.
- This guide will not mention each time you have to zoom into a location; the screenshots will identify each location.
- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs in this guide. Items listed in green are hidden or they require additional actions to locate. Interactive items in HOPs are color-coded.
- During the HOP, you have the option of playing Mahjong. Select the button in the upper right corner. Locate 2 sets of matching pairs to remove 1 item from the HOP list (A).
- Mini-games and HOPs are sometimes randomized; your solution may vary.
- Use your map to see where actions are available and quickly travel (B).
- Refer to your Journal for notes, clues, and the map (C).
- Prevent your inventory from auto-hiding by selecting the lock (D).
- Select the compass for a hint (E).
Chapter 1: The Beach
- You will have the option of some interactive help.
- Talk to Marco (A).
- Take the BROKEN OAR (B).
- Use the BROKEN OAR to scrap away the algae (C).
- Enter the ship (D).
- Note the mini-game on the cabinet (E).
- Take the MAYAN ARTIFACT PART and the 1st LOCK PART (F).
- Select the shelves (G).
- Play the HOP to earn the SLINGSHOT (H).
- Walk down.
- Use the SLINGSHOT to get the COCONUT (I).
- Enter the ship.
- Use the COCONUT on the saw to get the COCONUT MILK (J).
- Walk down.
- Give the COCONUT MILT to Gregory (K).
- Take the 2nd LOCK PART (L).
- Enter the ship and select the cabinet mini-game.
- Place the 2 LOCK PARTS on the board.
- Slide the pieces to the spots with the same shape and gems (M).
- Remove items to get the BLUNT SABER (N).
- Use the BLUNT SABER on the grindstone to get the SHARP SABER (O).
- Walk down.
- Use the SHARP SABER on the tarp (P).
- Take the 1st CLIMBING CLAW and the MAYAN ARTIFACT (Q).
- Look at the man, and then place the MAYAN ARTIFACT in the vines (R).
- Walk forward.
Chapter 2: The Jungle
- Talk to Nai (A).
- Take the MAP (B).
- Place the MAYAN ARTIFACT in the stone (C); take the SAW EMBLEM and the 1st STONE HEAD (D). Take the MAYAN ARTIFACT again.
- Select the fountain (E).
- Play the HOP to earn the 2nd CLIMBING CLAW (F).
- Walk forward.
- Pull the branches back on the left and right (G).
- Take the BOW (H).
- Walk down twice and enter the ship.
- Place the 2 CLIMBING CLAWS on the mast (I).
- Climb up the mast.
- Use the BOW on the sack (J).
- Open the sack; take the ARTIFACT PART, BIRD FIGURINE, and RIGHT WING (K).
- Walk down twice and go forward.
- Place the BIRD FIGURINE on the nail and take the 2nd STONE HEAD (L).
- Walk down.
- Place the 2 STONE HEADS on the statue and take the PIRATE AMULET (M).
- Enter the ship and go up the mast.
- Place the PIRATE AMULET in the indentation and take the LEFT WING (N).
- Climb down.
- Place the LEFT WING and the RIGHT WING on the idol; take the HAWK IDOL (O).
- Walk down and go forward twice.
- Give the HAWK IDOL to the Mayans (P).
- Take the 1/5 COUNTERWEIGHT (Q).
- Walk to the right.
- Take the LEVER HANDLE (R).
- Take the 1st STONE EARRING (S).
- Talk to Marco (T).
- Walk down.
- Remove the old handle, insert the LEVER HANDLE, and take the RELEASE LEVER (A).
- Walk to the right.
- Insert the RELEASE LEVER to free the pup (B).
- Take the BRUSHWOOD (C).
- Remove the leaves and take the WOLF CLAW (D).
- Walk down.
- Place the WOLF CLAW in the indentation and take the IDOL CROWN (E).
- Walk to the right.
- Place the IDOL CROWN on the figure (F).
- Cross the bridge (G).
Chapter 3: The Village
- Take the 2nd STONE EARRING and note the mini-game (A).
- Remove the cover and place the BRUSHWOOD in the fire pit (B).
- Note the path to the Sacred Cave (C).
- Walk down.
- Place the 2 STONE EARRINGS on the idol (D).
- Walk right to the Boeing B17 (E).
- Take the TRUCK COIN and the BLUE BUTTON (F).
- Look at the nest (G).
- Note the mini-game on the plane (H).
- Take the TORCH (I).
- Walk down, go across the bridge, and select the trunk mini-game.
- Place the TRUCK COIN on the grid and zoom in.
- Draw line to connect each matching pair without any crossing (J).
- Take the RED BUTTON and the CLIMBING EQUIPMENT (K).
- Walk down and right.
- Use the CLIMBING EQUIPMENT on the nest (L).
- Select the mini-game on the plane (M).
- Place the BLUE BUTTON and the RED BUTTON on the right.
- Color all the shapes so none of the same color are touching (N).
- Select a button (O), and then a shape to color it.
- Select the same area on the plane.
- Play the HOP to earn the SPADE (P).
- Walk down.
- Use the SPADE on the dirt, and then take the EARTHWORM (Q).
- Walk to the right.
- Give the EARTHWORM to the baby hawk (R).
- Take the STONE FACE (S) and the HAWK FEATHER (T).
- Walk down twice.
- Place the HAWK FEATHER in the indentation (U).
- Take the CRYSTAL EYE (V).
- Walk to the right twice.
- Place the CRYSTAL EYE on the lid of the box (W).
- Take the GLASS LENS (X).
- Walk down and go forward.
- Use the GLASS LENS on the fire pit (A).
- Use the TORCH on the flames to get the BURNING TORCH (B).
- Walk to the cave (C).
- Use the BURNING TORCH on the 3 pots (1-3).
- Place the STONE FACE on the statue and take the STONE PIECE (D).
- Walk down.
- Place the STONE PIECE on the center, and then take the STONE DISC (E).
- Walk to the left.
- Take the ARTIFACT PART (F).
- Place the MAYAN ARTIFACT on the left and the STONE DISC on the right (red).
- Take the JAGUAR FANG (G) and retrieve the MAYAN ARTIFACT (H).
- Walk down 3 times.
- Place the JAGUAR FANG in the indentation (I).
- Select the gate (J).
- Swap the blue and yellow totems by moving them along the lines.
- Opposite colored totems must not be placed so a line connects them.
- Move the totems (M-O), (O-N), (V-T), (T-R), (U-S), (S-V), (V-T), (N-P), (P-S), (S-U), (L-N) (N-P), (P-S), (K-N), (N-P), (R-O), (O-L), (T-R), (R-O), (O-M), (W-T), (T-R), (R-O), (S-V), (V-T), (T-W), (P-S), (S-V), (O-N), and (N-K).
- Walk forward.
Chapter 4: The Valley
- Take the 2/5 COUNTERWEIGHT (A).
- Select the spears to move them aside, and then select the idol (B).
- Play the HOP to earn the RIGHT FOOT (C).
- Walk forward.
- Take the drawing (D).
- Use the SPADE to take the STARRED DISC (E).
- Walk down.
- Place the STARRED DISC in the stone circle (F).
- Take the LEFT FOOT (G).
- Walk forward.
- Place the RIGHT FOOT and the LEFT FOOT on the idol (H).
- Take the 1st HALF AMULET (I).
- Remove the debris (J).
- Walk forward.
- Take the 3/5 COUNTERWEIGHT (K).
- Select the urn (L).
- Play the HOP (M).
- You will earn the 2nd HALF AMULET.
- Use the BURNING TORCH on the pot (N).
- Take the VINE and the STEP (O).
- Take the BAMBOO LADDER (P).
- Place the BAMBOO LADDER against the boards (Q).
- Use the STEP, followed by the VINE to repair the ladder (R).
- Climb up the ladder and walk down twice.
- Place the 2 AMULET HALVES in the opening then select the amulet (S).
- Restore the amulet by swapping pieces (T).
- Take the AXE (U).
- Select the idol (V).
- Play the HOP to earn the TURQUOISE STONE (W).
- Walk forward twice.
- Use the AXE on the column (X).
- Note the box (Y).
- Walk forward.
Chapter 5: The Lower City
- Remove the leaves and take the 1st PEARL (A).
- Touch the snail, and then take the SNAIL TRAIL (B).
- Take the 1st HALF EMBLEM (C).
- Walk forward (D).
- Take the STICK (E).
- Note the fire and the log blocking the paths (F).
- Walk down twice and climb down the ladder.
- Use the SNAIL TRAIL on the lid (G).
- Remove the lid and take the EMPTY JAR (H).
- Go up the ladder and walk down.
- Place the EMPTY JAR on the shelf, and then use the STICK on the termites (I).
- Take the TERMITES (J).
- Walk forward 3 times.
- Use the TERMITES on the log (K).
- Note the monkey with the key (L).
- Walk under the arch (M).
- Take the 4/5 COUNTERWEIGHT (N).
- Take the PALM (O).
- Select the debris (P).
- Play the HOP to earn the AXE (Q).
- Walk down twice.
- Place the PALM in the indentation (R).
- Take the 1st HALF STAR (S).
- Use the AXE twice on the fallen wall (T).
- Enter the house.
- Take the EMPTY BUCKET (U).
- Note the mini-game on the table (V).
- Walk down and go forward twice.
- Use the EMPTY BUCKET on the water to get the BUCKET OF WATER (W).
- Walk down.
- Use the BUCKET OF WATER on the flames (X).
- The EMPTY BUCKET will return to your inventory. Return to the waterfall and get another BUCKET OF WATER.
- Walk down and to the left.
- Talk to the child spirit (A).
- Take the SEED (B).
- Take the HAMMER EMBLEM (C).
- Walk down twice.
- Place the SEED in the soil and use the BUCKET OF WATER on the seed (D).
- Peel the skin back 5 times and take the JUICY FRUIT (E).
- Enter the house.
- Place the SAW EMBLEM and HAMMER EMBLEM in the lock (F).
- Select the inside of the cabinet (G).
- Play the HOP to earn the SICKLE (H).
- Walk down twice.
- Use the SICKLE to cut the STRAW (I).
- Go forward twice.
- Give the JUICY FRUIT to the monkey (J).
- Take the KEY (K).
- Walk down and enter the house.
- Use the KEY in the lock (L).
- Take the RIBBONS (M).
- Select the table (N).
- Place the RIBBONS and STRAW on the table (GREEN).
- Move some straw to the center of the mat and place 2 ribbons on that straw (P). It will move to the corner.
- Move more straw to the mat and use a ribbon on it (Q).
- Spread the bottom of the straw and add the first piece to it (R).
- Use another ribbon to complete the DOLL (S).
- Take the DOLL, walk down, forward, and left.
- Give the DOLL to the spirit child (T) and she will give you the FIRE symbol.
- Place the FIRE symbol on the guard (U).
- Walk forward.
Chapter 6: Upper Town
- Take the RING and remove the scrap (A).
- Note the water tanks (B).
- Take the 5/5 COUNTERWEIGHT (C).
- Select the tower (D).
- Play the HOP to earn the NET (E).
- Walk down 3 times and enter the house.
- Use the RING in the lock and take the MALACHITE STONE (F).
- Select the cabinet (G).
- Play the HOP to earn the HAMMER (H).
- Walk down and go forward twice.
- Place the MALACHITE STONE and the TURQUOISE STONE into the eyes (I).
- Take the EASTERN TREE (J).
- Walk down, left, and forward.
- Attach the NET and place the 5 COUNTERWEIGHTS inside (K).
- Use the HAMMER twice on the panel, and then lift it up (L).
- Walk through the flowers (M).
- Take the CHISEL (N).
- Try to walk to the left (O).
- Walk down 3 times.
- Use the CHISEL on the shell, followed by the HAMMER (P).
- Take the 2nd PEARL (Q).
- Walk down twice.
- Place the 2 PEARLS on the lid of the box (R).
- Take the 2nd HALF STAR and the SNAKE (S).
- Select the debris (T).
- Play the HOP to earn the MITTEN (U).
- Walk forward twice and left.
- Place the 2 HALF STARS on the box (V).
- Select the top of the box.
- Slide the points to the correct locations (W).
- Take the CLAY PIECE (X).
- Walk down and forward.
- Place the CLAY PIECE in the water to get the MALLEABLE CLAY (A).
- Select the debris (B).
- Play the HOP to earn the 2nd HALF EMBLEM (C).
- Walk down and left.
- Place the 2 HALF EMBLEMS on the door (D).
- Enter the house.
- Take the CHARCOAL (E).
- Select the shelves (F).
- Play the HOP to earn the RAIN GOD (G).
- Walk down and go forward.
- Use the MALLEABLE CLAY on the stones (H).
- Walk forward through the flowers.
- Use the MITTEN to take the HIVE (I).
- Walk down.
- Use the HIVE on the bees (J).
- Enter the house (K).
- Note the mini-game on the wall (L).
- Take the FLASK (M).
- Select the crate (N).
- Play the HOP to earn the ASHES OF THE PHOENIX (O).
- Walk down.
- Use the FLASK to get the NECTAR (P).
- Walk forward twice.
Chapter 7: The Temple
- Talk to Marco (Q).
- Place the EASTERN TREE in the red circle (R).
- Take the BAG OF HERBS (S).
- Walk down twice, enter the house, and select the table.
- Place the ASHES OF THE PHOENIX, NECTAR, and the BAG OF HERBS on the table.
- Place the ASHES OF THE PHOENIX, NECTAR, and the BAG OF HERBS into the bowl (green).
- Select the utensil and use it on the bowl (T).
- Place the funnel on the flask (U).
- Place the strainer on the funnel (V).
- Use the cup on the bowl, and then pour the cup into the flask (W).
- Take the RESTORATION POTION (X).
- Walk down and go forward.
- Use the RESTORATION POTION on the bridge (Y).
- Walk to the left (Z).
- Talk to Nai (A).
- Take the BAMBOO PIPE and note the mini-game (B).
- Take the CLAWS (C).
- Walk forward.
- Take the KEY and note the mini-game on the tree (D).
- Select the debris (E).
- Play the HOP to earn the EARTH (F).
- Walk down 4 times and enter the house.
- Use the KEY on the drawer and take the MAIZE GOD (H).
- Place the CLAWS on the furnace cover (I).
- Place the CHARCOAL in the furnace followed by the BURNING TORCH (J).
- Select the shelves (K).
- Play the HOP to earn the SUN (L).
- Walk down, go forward, enter the house, and select the crate.
- Play the HOP to earn the MOONSTONE (M).
- Select the mini-game on the left wall.
- Place the SUN, EARTH, and MOONSTONE on the board.
- Move the moonstone to the marked spot (N).
- Move the piece: up, left, up, left, down, right, up, left, up, left, down, and right.
- Walk down, forward, left, and forward.
- Use the SICKLE to take the ECLIPSE LOTUS (O).
- Select the debris (P).
- Play the HOP to earn the SILVER ORE (Q).
- Walk down 4 times and enter the house.
- Place the SILVER ORE in the crucible, and then take the MOLTEN ORE (R).
- Pour the MOLTEN ORE in the mold (S).
- Use the HAMMER on the form and take the NORTHERN TREE (T).
- Walk down 7 times.
- Use the ECLIPSE LOTUS on Gregory (U).
- You will earn the DRUM.
- Walk forward 5 times, go left, and forward twice.
- Place the BAMBOO PIPE on the left statue and the DRUM on the right statue (V).
- Take the WESTERN TREE (W).
- Walk forward.
Chapter 8: The Tunnels
- Talk to Nai (A).
- Place the NORTHERN TREE in the white circle (B) and the WESTERN TREE in the blue circle (C).
- Enter the hole in the ground (D).
- Take the ROD (E).
- Use the ROD on the cage (F).
- Take the GIRAFFE (G).
- Walk down 3 times and select the tower.
- Play the HOP to earn the HUMMINGBIRD (H).
- Walk forward and left.
- Place the SNAKE, HUMMINGBIRD, and GIRAFFE in the indentations (I).
- Take the 1st LOCK PART (J).
- Walk down, go forward, and enter the hole.
- Place the 1st LOCK PART in the upper left (K).
- Take the RAKE (L).
- Exit the close-up and walk down 3 times.
- Place the RAKE in the holes (M).
- Take the 2nd LOCK PART (N).
- Walk forward twice, and enter the hole.
- Place the 2nd LOCK PART in the lower right (O).
- Rotate the rings to form paths for the discs to travel to the center (P).
- Select the rope ceiling.
- Play the HOP to earn the CROCODILE (Q).
- Walk forward.
- Talk to the Priest (R) and take the 1st HIEROGLYPH (S).
- Take the RED MONK (T).
- Note the door (U).
- Walk down 3 times and go left.
- Place the CROCODILE in the opening and take the WIND GOD (A).
- Walk forward and select the mini-game on the tree.
- Place the RAIN GOD on the upper shelf (B).
- Place the MAIZE GOD on the left shelf (C) and the WIND GOD on the bottom shelf (D).
- Rotate the rings to create a path linking the 2 nodes (E).
- Take the CENTRAL TREE (F).
- Walk down twice and go forward.
- Place the CENTRAL TREE in the green circle (G).
- Take the 2nd HIEROGLYPH (H).
- Walk down, left, and select the mini-game on the door.
- Place the 2 HIEROGLYPHS on the board.
- Slide the tiles into the column with the matching tile (I).
- Enter the door on the left.
Chapter 9: The Altar
- Take the ARTIFACT PIECE (J).
- Take the code (K).
- Take the STAR (L).
- Select the debris (M).
- Play the HOP to earn the 1st GEM (N).
- Walk down twice, go forward, enter the hole, go forward, and select the door.
- Place the STAR on the door.
- Drag the stars so no lines cross.
- There are 2 levels to complete (1-2).
- Walk left.
- Take the 2nd GEM and the GREEN MONK (P).
- Select the debris (Q).
- Play the HOP to earn the FLOWER (R).
- Walk down 4 times, go left, and forward.
- Place the FLOWER on the statue (S).
- Take the GOLD COIN (T).
- Walk down and left.
- Place the 2 GEMS in the openings to earn the AMULET (A).
- Use the GOLD COIN on the slot and take the 1st RUNE (B).
- Walk down twice, go forward, enter the hole, and select the rope ceiling.
- Play the HOP to earn the DRUMSTICKS (C).
- Walk down twice.
- Use the DRUMSTICKS on the drum (D).
- Take the 2nd RUNE (E).
- Walk forward, enter the hole, go forward, left, and select the debris.
- Play the HOP to earn the COTTON SWAB (E).
- Walk down twice.
- Use the COTTON SWAB on the ear (F).
- Take the 3rd RUNE (G).
- Walk forward and left.
- Place the 3 RUNES on the panel (H).
- Refer to your journal for the code (I).
- Press the runes in the order of the code (1-6).
- Take the STAFF (J).
- Walk down.
- Place the MAYAN ARTIFACT in the indentation (K).
- Place the AMULET in the center of the artifact (L).
- Place the STAFF in the center of the amulet (M).
- Move the crystals to direct the light to the right (N).
- Press the crystals in numerical order (1-4).
- Take the MAYAN ARTIFACT (O) and the SOUTHERN TREE (P).
- Walk down twice.
- Place the SOUTHERN TREE in the yellow circle (Q).
- Recreate the 5 discs in the correct location (C).
- Swap touching pieces or those that are connected by lines.
- Walk forward.
- Place the RED MONK and the GREEN MONK on the urn (D).
- Lift the lid and take the JAGUAR TOTEM (E).
- Take the EAGLE TOTEM (F).
- Walk down twice, go left twice, and select the debris on the left.
- Play the HOP (G).
- You will earn the WOLF TOTEM.
- Place the EAGLE TOTEM, JAGUAR TOTEM, and the WOLF TOTEM in the lid (H).
- Take the SPEAR (I).
- Walk down twice and go forward twice.
- Place the SPEAR in the statue's hands (J).
- Place the MAYAN ARTIFACT in the indentation (K).
- Congratulations! You have completed Mayan Prophecies: Cursed Island!
