General Tips
- This is the official guide for Mystery Trackers: Mist Over Blackhill.
- This guide won't tell you when to zoom into a location; the screenshots show each zoom scene.
- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. Only the locations of the HOPs will be shown.
- Use the Map to fast travel to a location.
- Some interactions change depending on if the player chooses to bring Elf or not at the start of the game. This guide shows gameplay if the player brings Elf.
Chapter 1: Professor Xiao
- Examine scene.
- Take PIGEON EMBLEM, WIRE, SMALL KNIFE, and TOGGLE SWITCH (1/3) (A).
- Examine WIRE 3x.
- Take ELF THE DOG (B); use WIRE (C). Play HOP; receive POUCH.
- SMALL KNIFE on POUCH; open. Take WRENCH and MAGNET.
- Use WRENCH (D); open. Take TOGGLE SWITCH (2/3) (E).
- Use MAGNET (F); receive TOGGLE SWITCH (3/3).
- Place TOGGLE SWITCH (3/3) (G); open.
- Solution (H): (F-K)-(A-F-D-G-P-K-M-J)-(P-J-M-I-B).
- Take GREEN HANDLE (I).
- Take LED LIGHT (1/2) (J). Examine (K); use ELF. Take RUST REMOVER. Use GREEN HANDLE (L); take COIN.
- Take FIRECRACKERS and PAPER CLIP (M). Use COIN (N); take ROCKER SWITCH.
- Take BACKPACK (O).
- PAPER CLIP on BACKPACK; take newspaper, FIRE SYMBOL, and ELECTRIC TAPE.
- Replace ROCKER SWITCH (P); use ELECTRIC TAPE. Place switch; press. Open door.
- Play HOP; receive LIGHTER (Q).
- LIGHTER on FIRECRACKERS: receive LIT FIRECRACKERS.
- Use LIT FIRECRACKERS (R).
- Receive SMALL CASE.
- Examine SMALL CASE.
- Solution (S): (F-G-B)-(C-E-B)-(J-B)-(D-B)-(I-B)-(H).

- Take HATCH KEY.
- Use HATCH KEY (U).
- Go up.

- Walk down.
- Place FIRE SYMBOL and DANGER SYMBOL (Y); take GAS CYLINDER (Z). Use WIRE CUTTERS (A); receive BRUSH.
- Place BEAR EMBLEM (B); take LETTER S.
- Go up.
- Place LETTER S (C); take RAVEN EMBLEM.
- Use BRUSH (D); place PIGEON EMBLEM, RAVEN EMBLEM, and FALCON EMBLEM.
- Play HOP; receive ORANGE BUTTON (E).
- RUST REMOVER on BLOWTORCH; examine. Place ORANGE BUTTON and GAS CYLINDER.
- Use BLOWTORCH (F).
- Go forward.
- Examine scene.
- Take HYDRAULIC RESCUE TOOL (G).
- Take LARGE BUTTON PART (1/4) (H); use HYDRAULIC RESCUE TOOL (I). Take LARGE BUTTON PART (2/4) and HOT DOG EMBLEM.
- Take LED LIGHT (2/2) (J). Use ELF (K); take LARGE BUTTON PART (3/4). Place HOT DOG EMBLEM (L).
- Play HOP; receive TONGS (M).
- Use TONGS (N); receive KIOSK KEY.
- Take METAL CAT (O). Use KIOSK KEY (P); open. Take RULER and LARGE BUTTON PART (4/4).
- Walk down.
- Place METAL CAT (Q); take WRENCH EMBLEM (R).
- Examine (S); place LED LIGHT (2/2).
- Solution (T).
- Take RED LIGHT.
- Walk down.
- Place WRENCH EMBLEM (U); take FUSE (V).
- Go up, then forward.
- Place LARGE BUTTON PART (4/4) (W), RED LIGHT, and FUSE.
- Examine (X).

- Take SCIENTIFIC AMULET, SILVER MEDAL, and ATOM INLAY (B).

- Take CORD EXTENDER (C); place CODE (D).

- Place LIGHTBULB (G) and CORD EXTENDER (H); flip switch (I).
- Open (J).
- Play HOP; receive KEY CARD (K).
- Use KEY CARD (L).
- Walk forward.
- Take BRONZE MEDAL (M).
- Take METAL PART (N); place BRONZE MEDAL and SILVER MEDAL (O).
- Solution (P).
- Take CUP TROPHY.
- Take UV LIGHT and SAFE DIAL (Q).
- Walk down.
- Place UV LIGHT and SAFE DIAL (R).

- Read note; take VALVE HANDLE.
- Place VALVE HANDLE (T); turn. Use CUP TROPHY (U); receive CUP OF WATER.
- Walk forward.
- Use CUP OF WATER (V); remove ropes. Receive METAL PART.
- Place 3 METAL PARTS (W); take ORNAMENTAL INLAY.
- Place ORNAMENTAL INLAY (X).
- Solution (Y-Z).
- Take GLASS TREE.
- Walk down.
- Place GLASS TREE (A).
- Enter Greenhouse.
Chapter 2: Another World
- Examine scene.
- Walk forward.
- Take MITTEN (B).
- Use MITTEN; take GAS CAN and FISHING NET (C).
- Take LATCH PART (D). Use FISHING NET (E); receive LATCH PART.
- Take DUFFEL BAG (F).
- 2 LATCH PARTS on DUFFEL BAG; open. Take HOSE CUTTER and BRASS KEY.
- Use HOSE CUTTER (G); take PIECE OF HOSE.
- Use BRASS KEY (H); open.
- Play HOP; receive PROPELLER (I).
- Open barrel. Place GAS CAN; open. Place PIECE OF HOSE (J); take GAS.
- Open (K); pour GAS. Place PROPELLER (L); examine.
- Take 2 ARROW BUTTONS, MATCHES, PLANK (1/3), and WRENCH INLAY (M).
- Take CAT TOY (N). Use MATCHES (O); take AXE.
- Use ELF THE DOG (P); take ARROW BUTTON. Use AXE (Q); receive TRIANGLE KEY.
- 3 ARROW BUTTONS on CAT TOY.

- Place BLUE BADGE and RED BADGE (G); take LOPPER.
- Scroll up; use LOPPER (H). Examine Martha.
- Use STUN BATON on scene.

- Solution (J): stop target over red orb.
- Examine (K).
- Walk down, then forward.
- Examine scene; receive AMULET BASE.
- Take SCREWDRIVER INLAY (L) and GEAR INLAY (M).

- Use SCREWDRIVER; open. Take BLUE COMPASS INLAY (P).
- Walk right.

- Walk down, then forward.

- Walk down.

- Go forward twice.

- Open FANNY PACK. Play HOP; receive CLOCK HANDS.
- Walk down.
- Place CLOCK HANDS and BELL (G); take MICROCHIP (H).
- Place ARROW EMBLEM (I); take LIGHTNING BOLT.
- Walk forward.
- Place LIGHTNING BOLT (J); open.
- Play HOP; receive PUMP (K).
- Use PUMP (L); move wheelbarrow. Place SNOWFLAKE.
