General Tips
- This is the official guide for Nevertales: The Beauty Within.
- This guide will not mention each time you have to zoom into a location; the screenshots will show each zoom scene.
- We will use the acronym HOP for Hidden-object puzzles. Interactive items will be color-coded and some will be numbered; please follow the numbers in sequence.
- The HOP lists may be random; our lists may vary from yours.
- Some inventory items can be opened to be combined or modified.
- Higher items or locations can be reached with the mechanical owl.
Chapter 1: At Home
- Open the drawer; take the phone (A).
- Remove 2 shirts; take the DRAWER KEY (B).
- Insert the DRAWER KEY into the lock (C) and turn the key twice; take GOLDEN PAGE 1/2 (D).
- Take the WRAPPED PAGE (E).
- Open the WRAPPED PAGE (E1); take GOLDEN PAGE 2/2.
- Put down the 2 GOLDEN PAGES (F).
- Activate the pages: 1, 2, 1, 1, 2.
- Open the drawer and take the family locket (G); remove the notes and take the CAR KEY (H).
- Take the TOY BALL (I); give the TOY BALL to the baby (green).
- Read the note (J).
- Solution: 1-4; you receive the BABY.
- Insert the CAR KEY into the lock (K) and open the door; take the SCREWDRIVER (L).
- Put down the BABY (M) and fasten its seat belt; insert the CAR KEY into the ignition (N) and turn the key.
- Remove the plants; take the STONE (O).
- Insert the SCREWDRIVER into the tree trunk (P); hit the screwdriver with the STONE three times and remove the broken wood.
- Play the HOP.
- Collect the 12 parts below the items (yellow).
- You receive the CAR KEY (Q).
- Insert the CAR KEY into the ignition (R); turn the key.
- Answer the phone call.
- Take the HALBERD (S).
- Open the car door; take the note half (T).
- Pull the gear closer with the HALBERD (U); take the GEAR (V).
- Remove the bushes (W).
- Solution: 1-4.
- Insert the GEAR into the niche (X); take the EMPTY TILE (Y) and close the top of the mechanical bird.
- Talk to the mechanical bird (Z).
- Take BROKEN TILE 1/2 (A).
- Move aside the ladder (B).
- Push the 3 insects into the cobweb (purple); take BROKEN TILE 2/2 (C).
- Insert the 2 BROKEN TILES into the EMPTY TILE (D) to create the TILE.
- Insert the TILE into the niche (E).

- Walk down twice.
- Put down the STONE SOLDIER (Z); take the WINDING KEY (A).
- Move aside the lantern; take the JEWELRY BOX (B).
- Open the JEWELRY BOX; take PEARL 3/5 (C).
- Move forward, turn left.
- Insert the WINDING KEY into the slot (D); turn the key twice.
- Collect the 7 fragments (green); take the OWL BADGE (E).
- Walk down.
- Insert the OWL BADGE into the slot (F); take the CLOUD (G).
- Play the mini-game.

- Turn left.

- Remove 3 eggs; take the FORTUNE COOKIE (B).
- Move forward.
- Put down the FORTUNE COOKIE (C); take the note (green).
- Play the mini-game.
- Solution: L, F, D, G, L, J, D, E, I.
- Take the ROSE BADGE (M); pull the rope (purple) and take the VOODOO HEAD (N).
- Walk down twice, turn left.
- Connect the VOODOO HEAD to the HEADLESS DOLL (O) to create the VOODOO DOLL.
- Give the VOODOO DOLL to the woman (P).
- Go to the Voodoo Hut.
- Play the HOP.
- Solution: 1-12.
- Take the WISH POTION (Q).
- Remove the stopper from the WISH POTION and pour the INK BOTTLE into it (R) to create the MAGIC INK.
- Take the PAPER (S).
- Pour the MAGIC INK over the PAPER (T) to create the MAP.
- Use the MAP to move forward (U).
- Play the mini-game.

Chapter 3: The Pirate Ship
- Turn around the cannon (K).
- Take PAINT 1/2 (L).
- Talk to the man; take the MATCHES (M).
- Insert the gunpowder (1) and the cannonball (2) into the cannon (3).
- Push them deeper into the cannon (4), connect the CHAIN to the cannon (5), and light the fuse with the MATCHES (green).
- Talk to the man (N).
- Insert the 5 PEARLS into the slots (O).
- Play the mini-game.
- Solution: (P).
- Enter the Inner Garden.
- Take the LOCK PART (Q).
- Take the note (R).
- Take ORNATE PLATE 1/3 (S).
- Take ORNATE PLATE 2/3 (T).

- Open the curtain (A); take PUNCH PIN 1/3 (B).
- Put the PHARAOH MASK into the slot (C); open the sarcophagus.
- Take the RED BOOK (D).
- Go to the Chamber of Whispers.
- Put the RED BOOK into the shelf (E).
- Play the HOP.
- Take the MAGNET (F).
- Go to the Adventure Section.
- Put down the MAGNET (G); take the ELECTRON (H).
- Open the chest; take the book (I).

- Enter the correct code into the DECODER DEVICE (J); push the button (K).
- Walk down.
- Cut the flowers with the SHEARS (L).
- Collect 8 flowers (blue); you receive the BOUQUET.
- Go to the Adventure Section.
- Put the BOUQUET into the vase (M); take PAINT 2/2 (N).
- Walk down.
- Put the 2 PAINTS on the PALETTE (O) to create the PAINTER SET.
- Put down the PAINTER SET (purple).
- Play the mini-game.

- Shoot the 3 FIREWORKS ROCKETS at the targets (G).

- Collect four gears (purple).
- Put down the four pieces; take the JANITOR'S PUNCH CARD (H).
- Insert the JANITOR'S PUNCH CARD into the slot (I); push the button (J).
- Take the SPACE BRIDGE (K).
- Collect the eight stars (green); you receive the STAR EMBLEM.
- Try to push the pedestal (L).
- Walk down, return to the Control Room.
- Push the pedestal (M).
- Go down to the Moon Council.
- Put down the PLANET PENDULUM (N).
- Play the mini-game.
- Solution: (O).
- Open the compartment; take PUNCH PIN 3/3 (purple).
- Shoot the cannons 1-2.
- Take the BROKEN GAUGE (P); turn the curtain and take the note (blue).
- Put down the SPACE BRIDGE (Q); put the ROCKET on the space bridge.
- Push the rocket; take the code (R).
- Remove two blueprints (purple); insert the JANITOR'S PUNCH CARD into the slot (S) and put the 3 PUNCH PINS into the device (T).
- Push the button (U), arrange the punch pins correctly (V), push the button (W), and take the ASTRONAUT'S PUNCH CARD.
- Walk down.
- Turn around the BROKEN GAUGE and insert the STAR EMBLEM into the slot (X); push the star emblem, turn around the BROKEN GAUGE, put the GAUGE NEEDLE into it (Y), and close the gauge to create the GAUGE.
- Insert the GAUGE into the device (Z).
- Enter the code '385' and push the button (A).
- Walk down.
- Insert the ASTRONAUT'S PUNCH CARD into the slot (B); pull the lever (green).
- Take the ASTRONAUT SUIT EMBLEM (C).
- Insert the ASTRONAUT SUIT EMBLEM into the niche (D); insert the GLASS DISC into the slots 1-5 to acquire the DECORATIVE GLASS.
- Go to the Control Room.
- Insert the DECORATIVE GLASS into the slot (E).
- Play the HOP.
- Solution: 1-54.
- Push the button (purple); you receive the SPACE SUIT.
- Walk down.
- Put on the SPACE SUIT (F).
- Play the mini-game.
- Solution: Press the buttons green, red, blue, yellow (G).
- Adjust the gauges correctly: 1-6.

- Pull the SUCTION CUP three times (K) to acquire it.

- Put the SUCTION CUP on the compartment (L) and turn it; take the EMPTY FLASHLIGHT (M).
- Turn the knobs 1-3 from the GALACTIC RADIO; take the BATTERY (N).
- Insert the BATTERY into the EMPTY FLASHLIGHT (O) to create the FLASHLIGHT.
- Light the scene with the FLASHLIGHT (P).
- Play the HOP.
- Light the 4 glow sticks (purple).
- You receive the SUN VISOR (Q).
- Turn left.
- Put on the SUN VISOR (R).
- Take the ACID NEUTRALIZER (S).
- Walk down.
- Pour the ACID NEUTRALIZER into the acid (T).
- Collect 8 planets (green); you receive the PLANETS.
- Turn left.
- Put down the PLANETS (U).
- Play the mini-game.

- Take HEART 1/3 (Y).

- Try to collect the element with the BACK SCRATCHER (S); remove four bushes, take the EARTH ELEMENT (T) and the BEANSTALK PART (U).
- Take the STONE RING (V).
- Move forward.
- Connect the STONE RING to the hand (W); pull the book closer.
- Play the HOP.

- Hold the HORN next to the creature (B); take the CHARGED AIR ELEMENT (C).
- Hold the MYSTERIOUS PAGE next to the lamp (D); take the complete note.
- Open the drawers: E, G, F x2, G.
- Take the WATER ELEMENT (H).
- Walk down.
- Put the WATER ELEMENT into the water (I) to acquire the CHARGED WATER ELEMENT.
- Move forward twice.
- Insert the CHARGED FIRE ELEMENT, WATER ELEMENT, AIR ELEMENT, and EARTH ELEMENT into the correct slots (J); put down the BEANSTALK PART (K).
- Turn the beanstalk parts: L x2, M x3, N x2, O.
- The solution may vary.
- Take the EARTH ELEMENTS (P).
- Insert the EARTH ELEMENTS into the slots (Q); insert the DE-PETRIFICATION GEM into the cup (R).
- Cut the branches with the GARDENING SHEARS (S); take the book (purple).
- Open the book, turn the page twice, and activate the portal (T).
- Go through the portal (U).
- Remove two bushes and take the handle (V); take the AXE (W).
- Take the HOOK (X).
- Walk down twice.
- Break the boards with the AXE (Y).
- Play the HOP.
- Follow the directions (blue and purple) to activate the gramophone.
- Solution: 1-15.
- Take the APPLE (Z).
- Go to Jack's House.
- Give the APPLE to the cow (A).
- Open the trapdoor (green).
- Enter Jack's Basement.
- Take ENIGMATIC DISC 2/2 (B).
- Open the crate; play the HOP.

- Walk down.
- Pour the ACID over the metal bars (I); take the DE-PETRIFICATION GEM (green).
- Go to Jack's Basement.
- Hold the DE-PETRIFICATION GEM next to the objects (J).
- Play the HOP.
- Collect 12 fragments behind the items (yellow).
- Take the MAGIC BEANS (K).
Chapter 6: The Cloud Castle
- Put the MAGIC BEANS into the soil (L) and put soil on them (M); pour the BUCKET OF WATER over the beans.
- Walk down, climb up to Cloud Castle.
- Take the DOVE ORNAMENT (N).
- Open the window (O).
- Walk down.
- Insert the DOVE ORNAMENT into the niche (P).
- Play the mini-game.
- To solve this puzzle, remove the symbols (purple) from the eggs.
- Take the SYMBOLS (green).
- Go to the Cloud Castle.
- Put down the symbols (blue).
- Solution: (Q).
- Play the HOP.
- Collect four knockers (purple).
- Connect the 4 rope pieces to the rope (R); take the ROPE.
- Connect the ROPE to the window (S).
- Fix the rope (T).
- Enter the Dining Room.
- Take the NEEDLE (U).
- Bend the NEEDLE twice (V) to create the MAKESHIFT HOOK.
- Play the HOP.
- Take the BOW (W).
- Connect the MAKESHIFT HOOK to the BOW (X) to create the BOW AND HOOK.

- Enter the Treasure Room.
- Connect the 2 ENIGMATIC DISCS to the lock (A).

- Go to Jack's Basement.
- Inflate the balloon with the BELLOWS (H); take BALLOON 3/3.
- Go to the Treasure Room.
- Connect the 3 BALLOONS to the device (I); take the KNIGHT FIGURINE (J).
- Walk down.
- Put down the KNIGHT FIGURINE (K).
- Play the mini-game.

- Take the BOTTLE 10/10 (Q); open the mouth and take the MECHANISM PART (R).
- Walk down.
- Connect the MECHANISM PART to the device (S).
- Arrange the mechanism parts correctly (T).
- Play the HOP.
- Open the book (purple); take the BEAKER (U).
- Put down the BOOK OF PASSAGE (V), the 10 BOTTLES (green), and the BEAKER (blue).
- Play the mini-game.

- Put the MAGNIFIER on the book (W); take the code (X).

- Cut the bushes with the GARDENING SHEARS (D); take the STETHOSCOPE (purple).

- Take the BAG OF INCENSE (G).
- Walk down twice.
- Hold the STETHOSCOPE next to the safe (H).
- Solution: I clockwise, J counter clockwise, K clockwise, L counter clockwise.
- Open the safe; take ORNAMENT SHARD 2/3 (M).
- Move forward.
- Pour the BAG OF INCENSE into the pipe (N) and light the pipe with the LIT STICK; take ORNAMENT SHARD 3/3 (O).
- Move forward.
- Insert the 3 ORNAMENT SHARDS into the slot (P); push the ornament and take the SWITCH LEVER (Q).
- Connect the SWITCH LEVER to the box (R); pull the switch lever.
- Play the HOP.
- Take the HERCULES STATUE (S).
- Move forward.
- Take the book (T).

- Take the WHETSTONE (A).
- Sharpen the BLUNT GARDENING SHEARS (B) with the WHETSTONE to acquire the SHARP GARDENING SHEARS.
- Move forward.
- Tap the bells in the following order: 1, 3, 2, 3, 1, 2.
- Cut the vines with the SHARP GARDENING SHEARS (C); take the FANTASY PAGE (blue).
- Move forward.
- Take the ORNATE COVER PLATE (1).
- Walk down.
- Take the box and insert the ORNATE COVER PLATE into the slot (2); assemble the correct picture (3) and take the DOOR PATTERN (4).
- Move forward.
- Take the note (D) and insert the DOOR PATTERN into the niche (purple); play the mini-game.
- Rotate the pieces into the correct position (E).
- Put down the FANTASY PAGE (green); push the pages F, G, F x2, G.
- Open the drawer; remove two objects and take SILHOUETTE PIECE 2/3 (H).
- Open the box and remove the cloth; collect the four shape pieces (purple).
- Use the pencil (I) and try to use the chisel (J); sharpen the chisel with the WHETSTONE.
- Use the chisel; take the WOMAN SILHOUETTE (K).
- Turn left.
- Play the HOP (L).
- Open the compartment; take the WEDGE (M).
- Walk down three times.
- Insert the WEDGE into the crack (N); hit the splitter with the stone (O) and take SILHOUETTE PIECE 3/3 (purple).
- Assemble the 3 SILHOUETTE PIECES correctly (P); apply the STICKY RESIN on the silhouette (blue) to acquire the MALE SILHOUETTE.
- Go to Pierre's Room.
- Remove the tie; open the book (Q).
- Collect the 7 fragments (green); take the GLASS STORK (R).
- Walk down twice.
- Insert the GLASS STORK into the niche (S); take the BABY SILHOUETTE (T).
- Go to Pierre's Room.
- Insert the MALE, the WOMAN, and the BABY SILHOUETTES into the slots (U); take the HEART (V).
- Insert the HEART into the slot (W).
- Put three rose pieces (green) into the slot (X); look at the rose.
- Collect four roses (purple).
- Go through the portal (Y).
- Put the 3 fragments (blue) into the cradle (Z); look at the cradle.
- Collect four hearts (purple); tap the photo (A).
- Go through the portal (B).
- Put the four compass pieces (green) into the compass (C); tap the compass.
- Collect four claws (blue); touch the hand (D).
- Go through the portal (E).
- Talk to the creature (F).
- Tap the hand three times (purple).
