General Tips
- This is the official guide for Punished Talents: Dark Knowledge.
- This guide won't tell you when to zoom into a location; the screenshots show each zoom scene.
- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. Only the locations of the HOPs will be shown.
- Use the Map to fast travel to a location.
Chapter 1: University
- Talk (A).
- Take DAMP MONEY, SAUSAGE, and PAPER CUP (B).
- Open door (C1); take POWDER (C). Look at clipboard and open case; take BANDAGE (D). Open glove compartment; take SCISSORS (E).
- SCISSORS and BANDAGE on PAPER CUP; take PAPER CUP WITH BANDAGE.
- Open grate; use PAPER CUP WITH BANDAGE (F); receive CAR KEY.
- Use CAR KEY and pull handle. Open compartment; take Glasses (added to UI) and ID CARD (G).
- Give ID CARD (H).
- Go (I).
- Talk (J). Select last line on video camera (K).
- Go (L).
- Select Glasses (M). Play HOP; receive TAPE.
- Take SD CARD (N). Select monitor (O).
- Lift rug; take SIGNET RING (P).
- Place POWDER (orange); use brush (Q) and TAPE on glass; take UNKNOWN FINGERPRINT (R).
- Place DAMP MONEY (S); receive MONEY.
- Walk down.
- Use MONEY (T); press 57 and checkmark (U). Open tray; take PACK OF PAPER (V).
- Use SIGNET RING (W); select twice; take CAMERA and STETHOSCOPE (X).
- Go (Y).
- Place STETHOSCOPE. Solution (@1): (R-D-R-U)-(R-U-R-U)-(R-D-Rx2-D-R-D).
- Take PRINCIPAL'S BAG.
- Walk down.
- Open PRINCIPAL'S BAG; take BATTERY CHARGER, STOREROOM KEY, and LOCKED PHONE.
- Use STOREROOM KEY; select key (A) and handle (B). Play HOP; receive BATTERY.
- Go to Principal's Office.
- Open two compartments on CAMERA; insert SD CARD (C) and BATTERY (D). Close both compartments; take CAMERA.
- Use CAMERA (E); receive CAMERA WITH PHOTO.
- Walk down.
- Open tray; place PACK OF PAPER and select (F). Place CAMERA WITH PHOTO (G).
- Push button (H); take FOOTPRINT PHOTO (I).
- Use FOOTPRINT PHOTO (J); receive FOOTPRINT PHOTO. Play HOP.
- Open bag; take AMBULANCE KEY (K).
- Walk down.
- Select LOCKED PHONE and use UNKNOWN FINGERPRINT; receive UNKNOWN FINGERPRINT and PHONE.
- Use AMBULANCE KEY and select; pull handle. Open bag and use PHONE (L); receive UNLOCKED PHONE WITH PASSWORD.
- Go to Principal's Office.
- Select UNLOCKED PHONE WITH PASSWORD twice. Use BATTERY CHARGER and UNLOCKED PHONE WITH PASSWORD (M). Take NEXT VICTIM (N).
- Go (O).
- Talk; give UNKNOWN FINGERPRINT and FOOTPRINT PHOTO (P).
- Place NEXT VICTIM (Q).
- Solution (R): press Next (S) after each selection.
- (Female)-(Age 20-25)-(Face Oval and 1)-(Eyes Almond and 1)-(Nose Normal and 3)-(Lips Natural and 1)-(Eyebrows Normal and 1)-(Hair Long and 1).
- Select 1 and 2.
- Play HOP (T).
- HOP solution (U).
- Take BROOM (V).
- Select bag and give SAUSAGE (W); take KEY CARD (X).
- Walk down.
- Use BROOM; take SCREWDRIVER (Y).
- Go (Z).
- Use SCREWDRIVER and select wires (A).
- Use KEY CARD (B).
- Enter (C).
- Select Glasses (D). Play HOP; receive RAG WITH CHLOROFORM.
- Take BLANKET, VIDEO CAMERA, and LIQUID NITROGEN (E).
- Walk down twice.
- Use LIQUID NITROGEN and select twice (F).
- Go (F1).
- Use VIDEO CAMERA on scene (G).
- Go (H).
- Talk; give VIDEO CAMERA and RAG WITH CHLOROFORM (I).
- Select filter (J).
- Take SERUM OF WARMTH (K).
- Travel to Lake (L).
- Take PRUNERS (M).
- Select guitar strings 5x (N); receive GUITAR STRING.
- Take CORKSCREW HANDLE (O).
- Walk down.
- Use PRUNERS; take HOSE (P).
- Go (Q).
- Use GUITAR STRING and select; take GARDENER'S KEY (R).
- Go (S).
- Place CORKSCREW HANDLE; take CORKSCREW (T).
- Go to Lake.
- Use GARDENER'S KEY and select twice; take LADDER, ICE SCRAPER, and QUADCOPTER REMOTE CONTROL (U).
- Use CORKSCREW and select twice. Insert HOSE (V).
- Use ICE SCRAPER (W). Pull cord 3x (W1).
- Select statue (X). Use SERUM OF WARMTH (X1).
- Give BLANKET (Y). Select twice; take HEART MONITOR and recorder (Z).
- Walk down.
- Place LADDER and select (A); take BROKEN QUADCOPTER (B). Take LADDER back.
- Go to Room 202.
- Place LADDER (C). use SCREWDRIVER; take PROPELLER (D).
- Return to Lake.
- QUADCOPTER REMOTE CONTROL and HEART MONITOR on BROKEN QUADCOPTER (E).
- Remove broken propeller and place PROPELLER (F); take QUADCOPTER WITH REMOTE.
- Place QUADCOPTER WITH REMOTE (G).
- Solution: select (K) until (1) reaches position (2). Select (I) until (2) reaches position (3).
Chapter 2: Store
- Take LIGHTER (L).
- Open door; take STRING (M) and push button (N).
- Take JACK and EXTENSION CORD (O).
- Select LIGHTER 5x; receive WICK.
- STRING on WICK; take WICK WITH STRING.
- Use JACK (P). Play HOP; receive GASOLINE.
- Use GASOLINE on canister; open lid and use WICK WITH STRING (Q); receive GASOLINE-SOAKED WICK. Take CANISTER WITH GASOLINE (purple).
- GASOLINE-SOAKED WICK on LIGHTER; select 4x.
- Use CANISTER WITH GASOLINE and LIGHTER; take CROWBAR (R).
- Use CROWBAR (S); select twice.
- Enter (T).
- Remove cap; use CANISTER WITH GASOLINE (U). Replace cap (V); select switch (W).
- Take PLIERS and NEWSPAPER (X).
- Walk down.
- Use PLIERS (A); receive WIRE.
- Go to Store.
- Slide down (B); place NEWSPAPER (C).
- Slide up (E); use WIRE (F).
- Select newspaper; take SECURITY KEY (G). Slide up (E); use SECURITY KEY (F) and select; pull handle (H).
- Enter (I).
- Select cassettes twice (J); take EMPTY VIDEOTAPE (K).
- Take SCISSORS and GLUE (L).
- Walk down.
- Use EXTENSION CORD (M).
- Use SCISSORS and select (N).
- Use GLUE. Select twice (O); take FILM (P).
- Go (Q).
- Select both plugs (R).
- Select EMPTY VIDEOTAPE twice; place FILM and select 3x; receive VIDEOTAPE.
- Insert VIDEOTAPE (S). Press Play (T). Solution: press 389 and enter (U). Receive REGISTER CODE.
- Walk down.
- Place REGISTER CODE; enter 389 (V) and green button (W). Take COIN (X).
- Walk down.
- Use COIN (Y).
- Take COIN 1/2 (A).
- Open trunk; take CABLE (B).
- Select door handle (C); take CHEESEBURGER and SMARTPHONE (D).
- Place CABLE (E); select (F-G). Pull parking brake (H).
- Go (I).
- Take ICE SCRAPER and BROKEN MODEL PLANE (J).
- Select ladder (K).
- Walk down.
- Play HOP (L); receive BOOT 1/2.
- Take BRANCH (M).
- Select CHEESEBURGER 4x; receive CHEESE.
- Use CHEESE (N); take AIRPLANE TAIL (O).
- Use ICE SCRAPER and SMARTPHONE (P); receive SMARTPHONE WITH CODE.
- Go (Q).
- Place SMARTPHONE WITH CODE; select 1637 (R). Select twice; take SUPPLY KEY (S).
- Walk down.
- Use SUPPLY KEY; select 4x (T); take BOOT 2/2 and KNIFE BLADE (U).
- Go to Dorm Hall.
- Use BOOT 2/2 (V).
- Use BRANCH (W). Select 3x (X); receive HEX WRENCH.
- Use HEX WRENCH (Y) and remove grate.
- Solution (Z).
- Take WRENCH (A).
- Use WRENCH (B); receive EAGLE AMULET.
- Walk down.
- Select EAGLE AMULET twice; receive COIN 2/2.
- Use COIN 2/2 (C); take METAL BALL (D).
- Place METAL BALL (E).
- Solution (F).
- Take SHIELD HALF (G).
- Place SHIELD HALF (H).
- Go (I).
- Take TWEEZERS (J). Select file icon (K).
- Go to Laundry Room.
- Use TWEEZERS (L); receive GLASS CUTTER.
- Go to Second Floor Hall.
- Use GLASS CUTTER; take RED BULB, MAGNIFIER, and TROPHY (M).
- Place RED BULB (M1).
- Slide down (N); take BROKEN CAMERA (O).
- Select BROKEN CAMERA 3x; receive CAMERA FILM.
- Place CAMERA FILM and MAGNIFIER (P); select 3x; receive FILM SCRAP WITH ROOM NUMBER.
- AIRPLANE TAIL on BROKEN MODEL PLANE and select; take MODEL AIRPLANE.
- Use MODEL AIRPLANE (Q); take RULER (Q1).
- Use RULER; take BLANK CARD (R).
- Use BLANK CARD (S) and FILM SCRAP WITH ROOM NUMBER (T). Take ROOM KEY CARD (S).
- Use ROOM KEY CARD (U); select handle (V).
- Select Glasses (W). Play HOP; receive BINOCULARS.
- Use BINOCULARS (X).
- Place TROPHY (Y); take INK CARTRIDGE and HAIRPIN (Y1).
- Select HAIRPIN 2x; receive IMPROVISED LOCKPICK.
- Use IMPROVISED LOCKPICK; take DRY PEN (Z).
- Select DRY PEN; place INK CARTRIDGE and select 2x; receive PEN.
- Take SLINGSHOT (A). Select paper (B); use PEN (B1); receive SKETCH.
- Place SKETCH; solution (C).
- Play HOP (D); receive KNIFE HANDLE.
- Go to Laundry Room.
- KNIFE BLADE on KNIFE HANDLE; take KNIFE.
- Use KNIFE and select; take LAUNDRY (E).
- Go to Students Room 115.
- Select LAUNDRY 4x; receive IMPROVISED ROPE.
- Select latches twice (F); use IMPROVISED ROPE and select (F1).
- Select 3x; take BROKEN BLOWTORCH and SHELF PART (G).
- Walk down twice.
- Place SHELF PART (H). Open book; take GAS CANISTER (I).
- Go to Shooting Range.
- Select SLINGSHOT 3x; receive TUBE.
- Select BROKEN BLOWTORCH twice; place TUBE and GAS CANISTER; take BLOWTORCH.
- Use BLOWTORCH (J); select.
- Solution (@1): (GR-Dx2)-(BL-L-D). (RD-Rx4-Ux2-Lx2-Dx2-Lx4)-(YW-U)-(RD-L-Ux3-R-U-Dx3).
- (YW-L-R-U-D)-(BL-U-Rx2-U-R-Dx2-U-L)-(GR-Rx2-L).
- Receive BROKEN BLOWTORCH.
- Take PADLOCK KEY (K).
- Use PADLOCK KEY and select (L).
Chapter 3: Library
- Talk (A).
- Play puzzle (B).
- Solution (C).
- Talk (D).
- Select (E and F).
- Select Glasses (G). Play HOP; receive CLOTH WITH INITIAL.
- Go (H).
- Talk; give CLOTH WITH INITIAL (I).
- Select Board (J).
- Open trunk; take EMPTY CANISTER (K).
- Remove lid; use EMPTY CANISTER (L); receive CANISTER WITH ANTIFREEZE.
- Select 3x; receive SIGN (M).
- Take TRACTOR KEY (N).
- Use SIGN; take CROWBAR (O).
- Go to Sawmill (P).
- Use CROWBAR and select (Q). Play HOP; receive LEVER.
- Use TRACTOR KEY and select twice; take SNOW BRUSH, SCISSORS, and HOOK (R). Push button (S).
- Walk down.
- Use SCISSORS; take TAPE (T). Open doors; take ROPE (U).
- Go to Sawmill.
- HOOK on ROPE; select twice; receive ROPE WITH HOOK.
- Use ROPE WITH HOOK (V). Use CANISTER WITH ANTIFREEZE and SNOW BRUSH (W).
- Place LEVER and pull it (X); receive BOARDS.
- Walk down.
- Place BOARDS (Y).
- Take ICE SCRAPER and NEWSPAPER (Z).
- Walk down.
- Use ICE SCRAPER; take PUZZLE TILE (A).
- Go (B).
- Use SNOW BRUSH (@1); place PUZZLE TILE (C).
- Solution (D).
- Take WHEEL HANDLE (E).
- Slide down (F); take GAS CANISTER (F1).
- Walk down.
- Select BROKEN BLOWTORCH; place GAS CANISTER; take BLOWTORCH.
- Use BLOWTORCH; take CLINIC EMPLOYEE ID (G).
- Use WHEEL HANDLE and select (H); take FLAG (I).
- Go (J).
- Use FLAG (K). Play HOP; receive TAPE MEASURE.
- Walk down.
- Use TAPE MEASURE and open door; select and take CELL BATTERY 1/2 and HEX SCREWDRIVER (L).
- Go (M).
- Open door, use HEX SCREWDRIVER; select again and take CELL BATTERY 2/2 (N).
- Select panel; place CELL BATTERY 2/2 (O).
- Select screen; use CLINIC EMPLOYEE ID (P) and select screen.
- Solution (1-30).
- Go (Q).
- Take MAGNET and BROKEN MOP (R).
- Use BLOWTORCH and NEWSPAPER (S).
- Take FIRE EXTINGUISHER (T).
- Walk down.
- Select BROKEN MOP; place MAGNET and TAPE; take MAGNETIC ROD.
- Use MAGNETIC ROD (U); receive WHEEL 1/2.
- Walk down.
- Use FIRE EXTINGUISHER and select doors (V). Play HOP; receive WHEEL 2/2.
- Go to Clinic Corridor.
- Place WHEEL 2/2 (W). Select gurney (X).
- Go (Y).
- Select Glasses (Z). Play HOP.
- HOP Solution: (A-B-C).
- Select hands (D).
- Take AXE (E).
- Use AXE (1-2); select.
- Select tracks (F).
- Go (G).
- Select 5x; take TELEPHONE (H).
- Move sheet; take WET MATCHES (I).
- Take LATCH (J).
- Hang TELEPHONE (K).
- Walk down.
- Place LATCH and select (L); take SOLDERING IRON and ELECTRIC GRILL (M).
- Go (N).
- Use SOLDERING IRON (O). Select telephone.
- Place ELECTRIC GRILL (P); take VALVE (Q).
- Place WET MATCHES (R); receive MATCHES.
- Place VALVE (S); move tank to door (T) and use MATCHES.
- Go (U).
- Select 3x; take SYRINGE WITH ANTIDOTE (V).
- Go (W). SYRINGE WITH ANTIDOTE is automatically used.
