General Tips
- This is the official guide for Saga of the Nine Worlds: The Four Stags.
- This guide won't tell you when to zoom into a location; the screenshots show each zoom scene.
- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. Only the locations of the HOPs will be shown.
- Use the Map to fast travel to a location.
Chapter 1: Seer's Hut
- Talk (A).
- Take ODIN'S SYMBOL PIECE (B).
- Place ODIN'S SYMBOL PIECE (C); go forward; play HOP; receive WINDFORCE BOW.
- Go right.
- Enter (D).
- Take MUSIC SHEET 1/5-5/5 (E).
- Walk down.
- Give MUSIC SHEET 5/5 (F).
- Go left.
- Give WINDFORCE BOW (G).
- Enter (H).
- Select papers 8x; take CONTAINER BUTTON (I).
- Take MOUNTAIN FLOWERS 1/5-5/5 (J).
- Place CONTAINER BUTTON. Select 5 buttons (K); take FIRE SALT (L).
- Place 4 bones (orange), FIRE SALT, and MOUNTAIN FLOWERS 5/5 into bowl (M). Select bowl twice; take PETRIFYING POWDER (N).
- Walk down.
- Give PETRIFYING POWDER (O).
- Solution (1-3).
- Go forward; take STURDY BRANCH (P).
- Use STURDY BRANCH 2x; take DRIED HERBS (Q).
- Open cover; place DRIED HERBS (R).
- Take LEAF SCROLL (S).
- Look at note; pull two left levers (T); take GIMLET (U).
- Select LEAF SCROLL; take GUARDHOUSE TOKEN and GUARD'S CLOTH EMBLEM.
- Take RESIN ENCASED ITEM (V).
- Place RESIN ENCASED ITEM (W); receive GATE ORNAMENT.
- Go (X).
- Take VINE and SUN EMBLEM (Y).
- Remove board; take GATE CLUE (Z).
- Walk down.
- Use VINE (A); receive DWARVEN METAL PLATE.
- Place DWARVEN METAL PLATE (B); receive GREAT SAW.
- Go (C).
- Use GREAT SAW (D). Play HOP.
- Place GATE CLUE and GATE ORNAMENT (E).
- Solution (@1): (B-E)-(A-D)-(B-D)-(C-F)-(D-F).
- Go forward.
- Select 5x; take WIRE, GUARD'S LOCKET, and WIND CHIMES 1/3 (G).
- Place SUN EMBLEM (H); take SWAN'S HEAD (I).
- Remove arrow and look at note (J).
- Place GUARDHOUSE TOKEN (K).
- Select statue (L); take FOREARM BRACE (L1).
- Place SWAN'S HEAD and FOREARM BRACE; position swans as shown (M).
- Take CURVED SPEAR (N).
- Use WIRE on lock and select twice; take FLOWER ORNAMENT and SHIPWRIGHT'S RING (O).
- Take NECKLACE ORNAMENTS 1/3 (P).
- Walk down.
- Use GUARD'S CLOTH EMBLEM on scene (Q).
- Solution one (R).
- Solution two (S).
- Solution three (1-22).
- Use CURVED SPEAR (T).
- Take WIND CHIMES 2/3 and OARLOCK (U).
- Select box (V); use SHIPWRIGHT'S RING, open it and take EMPTY LAMP (W).
- FLOWER ORNAMENT on GUARD'S LOCKET; open it and take WILLOW KEY.
- Use WILLOW KEY; select twice; take FREEZING CRYSTAL (X).
- Go (Y).
Chapter 2: Guardhouse
- Use FREEZING CRYSTAL and GIMLET; select envelope 3x (A). Play HOP; receive ILLEGIBLE INSTRUCTIONS.
- Take WIND CHIMES 3/3 (B).
- Go to Elven Gate.
- Place WIND CHIMES 3/3; select 1-6.
- Use ILLEGIBLE INSTRUCTIONS (C); take INSTRUCTIONS (D).
- Walk down.
- Place EMPTY LAMP; select top (E); receive BRIGHTBUG LAMP.
- Go to Guardhouse.
- Place OARLOCK and INSTRUCTIONS (F).
- Solution: G-Hx2-G-I-Jx2.
- Walk down.
- Enter (K).
- Use BRIGHTBUG LAMP on scene.
- Select leaves (orange).
- Place drops (L); take CRYSTAL CASE and NECKLACE ORNAMENTS 2/3 (M).
- Walk down.
- Use CRYSTAL CASE (N). Take NECKLACE ORNAMENTS 3/3 and BOTTLE WITH PIPETTE (O).
- Walk down.
- Place NECKLACE ORNAMENTS 3/3 (P); take BLANK PERFORATED TABLET (Q).
- Go to Tree Hall.
- Place BLANK PERFORATED TABLET; take TABLET WITH SYMBOLS (R).
- Place TABLET WITH SYMBOLS (S).
- Solution (1-10).
- Go (T).
- Select 1-2.
- Look at note (U).
- Go to Terrace (V).
- Take BALL OF TWINE and ETCHED TUBE (W).
- Select feathers 3x; take FALCON FEATHER (X).
- Walk down.
- Throw BALL OF TWINE; take KEY PATTERN (Y).
- Use FALCON FEATHER; take CRYSTAL KEY (Z).
- Use KEY PATTERN and CRYSTAL KEY (Z1).
- Select (Ax3-B)-(Ax2-C)-(A-D)-(Ax2-E).
- Take LENS (F).
- Go to Terrace.
- Place LENS (G). Play HOP.
Chapter 3: Ruins
- Take KEYRING (H).
- Place KEYRING (I). Select any three keys (@).
- Look at note (J). Place ink on paper (K).
- Use ETCHED TUBE (J); select paper. Take TURNING PINS (L).
- Take FOREST ESSENCE 1/15-5/15 (orange).
- Use TURNING PINS; select all latches (purple); take DEER LICK BLOCK (M).
- Walk down.
- Take FOREST ESSENCE 6/15-10/15 (orange).
- Take LEAVES 1/10-10/10 (light blue) (N).
- Walk down.
- Take FOREST ESSENCE 11/15-15/15 (orange) (O).
- Go to Terrace.
- Examne (P).
- Select bottles (1-3). Put down BOTTLE WITH PIPETTE (Q).
- (R-S)-(R-V)-(R-Tx3)-(R-V)-(R-Ux2)-(R-V).
- Use DEER LICK BLOCK; select mortar (W).
- Place FOREST ESSENCE 15/15 and LEAVES 10/10 in bowl (V).
- Use pestle (X) in bowl (V).
- Select jar (Q).
- Select cloak (R).
- Solution: Dx2-Ax3-B-D-Bx2-D-A-C-A-C-Ax3-D-Bx2.
- Take CHAIN, LEG ARMOR, Map, and MUSPELHEIM BRANDING IRON (E).
- Look at note; take CLAW (F). Take FIRELEAF (G).
- Go (H).
- Select wheel; use CHAIN (I).
- Place FIRELEAF on scene and pass it (J) over SYMBOLS (white); receive LEAF WITH SYMBOLS.
- Take HANGING STONE, CARABINER, and PUMICE ROCK (L).
- Walk down.
- Place HANGING STONE and LEAF WITH SYMBOLS. Select 1-2-3.
- Take TOTEM HORN and CLAY (L1).
- Go (L2).
- MUSPELHEIM BRANDING IRON on CLAY; receive BRANDED CLAY.
- Place BRANDED CLAY (M); receive MOLDED CLAY.
- Place MOLDED CLAY and LEG ARMOR (N); receive LOCK ELEMENT.
- Place LOCK ELEMENT (M).
- Solution (O).
- Play HOP (P); receive FIRE EMBLEM.
- Place FIRE EMBLEM and select (Q).
- Select all doors except for middle one, then select matching pairs (color-coded). Pull lever (R).
- Walk down. Go (S).
Chapter 4: Cave
- Select 3x; take TRIANGULAR TILE 1/3 (T).
- Use PUMICE ROCK (U).
- Place TOTEM HORN (V); take TRIANGULAR TILE 2/3 (W).
- Go (X).
- Swing right (A); take METAL SHARD (B).
- Look up (C); use METAL SHARD (D).
- Rotate skulls (E).
- Take TRIANGULAR TILE 3/3 and WAX CHUNK (F).
- Place TRIANGULAR TILE 3/3 and select; take DWARVEN GEM (G).
- Take LEATHER STRAP and SHIELD (H).
- Use CLAW (I).
- Solution (J-K)-(M-N).
- Receive NET and CROSSBOW STRING.
- Use NET (O).
- Walk down.
- Use DWARVEN GEM 3x (P); take WINDLASS (Q).
- Go (R).
- Place CROSSBOW STRING and WINDLASS; select windlass (S).
- Play HOP (T): receive GAUNTLET.
- WAX CHUNK on GAUNTLET.
- Set pieces as shown (U-V-W). Take FIREPROOF GAUNTLET.
- Go to Crossroads.
- Use FIREPROOF GAUNTLET; select twice (X); receive CHARGED CRYSTAL.
- Go (Y).
- Place LEATHER STRAP and CARABINER (Z).
- Place CHARGED CRYSTAL (Z1).
- Move along path (1) select obstacle (2); select (A).
- Move along path (3); select obstacle (4); select (B).
- Move along path (5); select obstacle (6); select (C-B).
- Move along path (7); select obstacle (8); select (A).
- Move along path (9); select obstacle (10); select (C-B). Exit (11).
- Talk (D).
- Take CHAINMAIL CLASP and TOTEM FRAGMENT (E).
- Use SHIELD and select (F).
- Walk down.
- Use CHAINMAIL CLASP (G). Select matching pairs (color-coded); take EXTENDABLE ROD (G1).
- Move pieces (H-I-J).
- Place TOTEM FRAGMENT (K); take WHIP and FRAME CYLINDER 1/2 (L).
- Go (M).
- Use WHIP (N).
- Place chain (O).
- Play HOP (P); receive BANNER.
- Go to Cave.
- Select EXTENDABLE ROD 4x; receive EXTENDED ROD.
- Use EXTENDED ROD (Q); receive FRAME CYLINDER 2/2.
- Go to Arena Entrance.
- Place FRAME CYLINDER 2/2; solution (R).
- Take ROCK and pull lever (S).
- Place BANNER; select 1-4.
- Throw ROCK (T).
- Go (U).
- Solution: A-C-Ax3-C-A-B-C-A.
- Take NOTE 1/3 and BUTTONS 1/2 (D).
- Remove four pins and cover (E); take ICEHELM FAMILY SIGIL (F).
- Go (G).
- Select winch (H); take CROSSBOW ARM (I).
- Take RAMROD (J).
- Open box; place cannonball (K) into cannon (L).
- Take CANNONBALL (M).
- Walk down.
- Use RAMROD; open pockets; take BUTTONS 2/2 (N). (Button will appear in last pocket you pick).
- Go to Waterfall.
- Place BUTTONS 2/2 (O).
- Solution (@3): G-G-H-L-S-O-R-R-S.
- Take SPREADER TOOL (U).
- Walk down.
- Place CANNONBALL (V); use SPREADER TOOL; take TINDERBOX (W).
- Go to Waterfall.
- Place TINDERBOX; open it and select flint (X).
- Go (Y).
- Take NOTE 2/3 (A).
- Solution: 18-14-15-6-5-2.
- 7-10-11-8-12-15.
- 16-20-23-19-13-17.
- 22-19-14-9-6-3-4.
- Take DWARVEN TOOLKIT and CODE (B).
- Take LADLE and GLOWING MUSHROOM 1/4 (C).
- Take GLOWING MUSHROOM 2/4 (D); remove book and look at page (E).
- Place ICEHELM FAMILY SIGIL. Solution (F).
- Take RUNE CHART and LIST OF LOYALISTS (G).
- Walk down.
- Select winch (H).
- Place CODE. Enter 41596 (I). Open doors; take NOTE 3/3 (J).
- Go to Hideout.
- Place NOTE 3/3. Find symbols (K-L-M).
- Take RUNE POEM (N).
- Go to Grove.
- Place DWARVEN TOOLKIT and open it. Use tools 1-2-3 on (0). Use rock (P) on last tool.
- Take CRYSTALS (O).
- Go to Waterfall.
- Place RUNE CHART and RUNE POEM (Q). Play HOP; receive RUNES.
- Go to Hideout.
- Use chalk located on scene and place RUNES. Select (R); place all items (S) on crowd (T).
- Select (U). Solution (@4): A-E-B-C.
- Select (V) and marked runes (W).
- Select (X).
- Select 1-8.
- Select (Y). Solution (Y1).
- Give CRYSTALS; take IMBUED CRYSTALS (Z).
- Go to Grove.
- Place IMBUED CRYSTALS (Z1). Solution: D-B-D-B-D-B-D-C-D-B-A-B-A-B-A-C-A-Bx2-D-B-A-B-A-C-Ax2-B-A-
- A-C-A-B-A-C-A-B-A-C-AX2-B-A-CX2-A-C-A-C-A-B-A-B-AX2.
- Place LIST OF LOYALISTS; select icehelm (E).
- Place LIST OF LOYALISTS; select strongarm (F). Take ANTI-MAGNETIC GRAINS (G).
- Place LIST OF LOYALISTS; select bronzebeard (H). Take GLOWING MUSHROOM 3/4 (I).
- Take GLOWING MUSHROOM 4/4 (J). Use CROSSBOW ARM on each stone and then select 1-4.
- Place GLOWING MUSHROOM 4/4. Solution (K).
- Take BOTANIST'S BACKPACK (L).
- Go (M).
Chapter 5: Spring Gate
- Remove cobwebs on scene 4x.
- Take VIAL OF SPIDER ACID (N).
- Place LIST OF LOYALISTS; select giantsbane (O).
- Place LIST OF LOYALISTS; select hammergrip (P).
- Place LIST OF LOYALISTS; select ingotbelt (Q).
- Use BOTANIST'S BACKPACK. Use tool (R) 7x (S).
- Take GLOWING PLANTS (T).
- Walk down.
- Place GLOWING PLANTS. Solution (U).
- Go forward to Altar.
- Place LIST OF LOYALISTS; select oakborn (V).
- Place LIST OF LOYALISTS; select stormpike (W).
- Place LIST OF LOYALISTS; select earthaxe (X). Receive COMPLETE LIST.
- Select spike; use ANTI-MAGNETIC GRAINS; take METAL SPIKE (Y).
- Use VIAL OF SPIDER ACID; take GNOMON (Z).
- Go to Spring Gate.
- Use METAL SPIKE and place LADLE (A); receive FLAMMABLE LIQUID.
- Select barrel (B).
- Go to Altar.
- Use FLAMMABLE LIQUID (C).
- Play HOP (D); receive PUZZLE DISC.
- Select PUZZLE DISC and find items (E); take WOODEN SHAPE (F).
- Press in three pieces (white). Take TREE SHAPE (G).
- Walk down.
- Place WOODEN SHAPE; take DWARVEN BASE (H).
- Go (I).
- Place TREE SHAPE; select scene 3x; take TILE FRAGMENT (J).
- Go to Altar.
- TILE FRAGMENT on DWARVEN BASE; receive BROKEN TILE.
- Place BROKEN TILE (K); receive DWARVEN TILE.
- Go to Spring Gate.
- Place COMPLETE LIST and DWARVEN TILE. Solution (1-4).
- Go (L).
- Take BURNING CORE (M).
- Use GNOMON; place as shown (N); take CONTRAPTION PIECE (O).
- Walk down.
- Use BURNING CORE (Q). Play HOP; receive DWARVEN CONTRAPTION.
- CONTRAPTION PIECE on DWARVEN CONTRAPTION; select 1-4.
- Go to The Spring of Origin.
- Use DWARVEN CONTRAPTION (R).
- Try to go through portal 4x (S). Play HOP; receive STRANGE FRAGMENTS.
- Take WOODEN PEG, CHARCOAL, and TANGLED ROPES (T).
- Take MINING PICK ORNAMENT (U).
- Place STRANGE FRAGMENTS; select pieces (V).
- Use WOODEN PEG; pull out as shown (W).
- Open TANGLED ROPES; select matching ends (X); receive LONG ROPE.
- Go to Encampment (Y).
Chapter 6: Encampment
- Look at note (A); take DISC POINTER (B).
- Look at note; receive SCRIBES BELT (C).
- Take HELMET KNOB (D).
- Go to Storage Area (E).
- Select wrench; take AXE ORNAMENT (F).
- Take CLOAK (G).
- Place HELMET KNOB (H); take WRENCH ORNAMENT (I).
- Look at note (J); receive SCREW EYE and RUNESINGER'S NOTE.
- Look at note; take OIL CAN (K).
- Take NIDAVELLIR EMBLEM (L) for a puzzle.
- Solution (M).
- Take SPEARHEAD (N).
- Go to Yggdrasil Plain.
- Use SPEARHEAD (O); receive HAMMER ORNAMENT.
- AXE ORNAMENT, MINING PICK ORNAMENT, WRENCH ORNAMENT, and HAMMER ORNAMENT on NIDAVELLIR EMBLEM. Select 1-4. Solved image (P). Receive RESTORED EMBLEM.
- Go to Encampment.
- Place RESTORED EMBLEM (Q); take DISC (R).
- Go to Storage Area.
- Place DISC POINTER and DISC (S).
- Solution (T).
- Play HOP: receive DWARVEN INSTRUMENT.
- Walk down.
- Use DWARVEN INSTRUMENT and RUNESINGER'S NOTE on scene.
- Solution: A-C-B-C. Place rune (1).
- Solution: B-C-A-C. Place rune (2).
- Solution: A-C-B-A. Place rune (3).

- Place LONG ROPE (D) and attach it (E).
- Take STAFF FRAGMENT (F).

- Walk down.
- Place handle on lever (H).
- Use OIL CAN (I).
- Use ENGINEER'S WRENCH (green). Select four levers (purple).
- Go (J).
- Take EXTINGUISHER PARTS LIST (K).
- Place EXTINGUISHER PARTS LIST on scene; take EXTINGUISHER PARTS 1/9-3/9 (L).
- Walk down.
- Place EXTINGUISHER PARTS LIST on scene; take EXTINGUISHER PARTS 4/9-6/9 (M).
- Go to Storage Area.
- Place EXTINGUISHER PARTS LIST on scene; take EXTINGUISHER PARTS 7/9-9/9 (N).
- Take EXTINGUISHER PLAN (O).
- Walk down.
- Place EXTINGUISHER PLAN and EXTINGUISHER PARTS (O).
- Solution (P).
- Take EXTINGUISHER.
- Go to Platform.
- Use EXTINGUISHER on scene. Put out each fire (Q).
- Use CHARCOAL (R); take BURNING CHARCOAL.
- Take BUG REPELLENT (S).
- Look at note; place SCRIBES BELT. Look at scroll (T). Use SCREW EYE (U-V).
- Solution: (U-W)-(V-W); select page (W).
- (U-W)-(V-W); select page (W).
- Take REVEALING FLUID (V) and RUNE PATTERNS (orange).
- Open cover; take ASGARDIAN CRYSTAL and BOX INSERT (W).
- Walk down.
- Place BOX INSERT; take ARMOR DRILL and BLACK BURNER SAND (X).
- Go to Storage Area.
- Use ARMOR DRILL; remove cover; take PASTE (Y).
- Go to Yggdrasil Plain.
- Place PASTE and ASGARDIAN CRYSTAL; take IMBUED CRYSTAL (Z).
- Go to Platform.
- Open top; place BURNING CHARCOAL (A), RUNE PATTERNS, and IMBUED CRYSTAL. Solution (1-13).
- Open top; place BLACK BURNER SAND (B), RUNE PATTERNS, and IMBUED CRYSTAL. Solution (1-16).
- Take SHARP SCALE (C). Press ball when in red zone (D) three different times.
- Take TRIANGLE BUTTONS 1/3-3/3 (E).
- Use BUG REPELLENT; select all buds (F); take SKULL FRAGMENT (G).
- Use SHARP SCALE; receive ARROW FEATHERS (H).
- Go (I).
- Place SKULL FRAGMENT (J); take other pieces (K-L-L1) and place as shown.
- Take Y KEY (M).
- Use CLOAK (N). Play HOP; receive ASGARDIAN CORE.
- Use REVEALING FLUID, ARROW FEATHERS, and ASGARDIAN CORE; select symbols (1-3); take PILLAR CRYSTALS (O).
- Walk down.
- Place TRIANGLE BUTTONS 3/3 (P) and select.
- Remove cover; slide pieces as shown (orange).
- Use Y KEY (Q); take DWARVEN AXE (R).
- Go (S).
- Use DWARVEN AXE (T); receive GIANT SPLINTERS.
- Walk down.
- Use GIANT SPLINTERS and go (U).
- Take antlers from each animal (1-4). Receive ANTLERS.
- PILLAR CRYSTALS on ANTLERS; receive IMBUED ANTLERS 3/3.
- Use IMBUED ANTLERS 3/3 three times (V).
- Solution (W).
- Press (1-2).
- Find runes (X).
- Solution (F-B)-(B-C-E)-(C-A)-(B-A-E)-(D-E-F).
