General Tips
- This is the official guide for Time Mysteries: The Ancient Spectres Standard Edition!
- You will not need to follow the exact path of this guide; however, some actions will need to be performed before you can complete another scene.
- Zoom into the sparkling areas to trigger a Hidden Object Scene. Throughout the guide, we will use the acronym 'HOS' for Hidden Object Scenes.
- The HOS are random. The screenshots in this walkthrough should be used as an example.
- Click on Options (A) to adjust music, volume, screen size and custom cursor.
Chapter 1: The Seal
- Open the front door (A).
- Take the PACKAGE (B) from the man.
- Place the PACKAGE on the desk (C) and zoom in.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Place the weight (D) on the scale (E) to reveal the 1 kg of salt.
- Place the chalk (F) in the mortar (!) and spin the pistol to get the white powder.
- Place the = (@) and the + (#) in the equation ($).
- Pick up all of the items to receive the SCISSORS.
- If you cannot find an item, you can click on the Toggle Game button (G).
- Break away the boxes (H) by clicking on pairs of three or more globes next to a box.
- One item will be located for you in the HOS for each set of boxes you clear away.
- Pick up the UMBRELLA (I).
- Zoom into the jewelry box (K) and pick up the MEDALLION (L).
- Zoom back into the box on the desk and open with the SCISSORS.
- Pick up all of the papers and photographs until you reveal the box.
- Place the MEDALLION on the lock (M).
- Pick up the SEAL and CRYSTAL HANDLE (green).
- Exit the door and take the carriage to the Mansion.
- Pick up the KNIFE HANDLE (N).
- Pull the SHORT ROPE (O) down using the UMBRELLA.
- Toss the SHORT ROPE over the gate (P) and climb over to the Fountain.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the OIL.
- Move forward to the Main Entrance.
- Zoom into the shutters (R).
- Move the bird away and pick up the SCREW (S).
- Return to the Fountain.
- Pick up the MATCHES (Q).
- Zoom into the knife blade (T).
- Place the KNIFE HANDLE and the SCREW as shown in the screenshot.
- Pick up the KNIFE (U).
- Return to the Main Entrance.
- Zoom into the shutters; open the latch (V) with the KNIFE.
- Enter the Dining Hall.
- Light the candles (W) with the MATCHES.
- Zoom into the table (X).
- Pick up the STRANGE MECHANICAL PART, the PAGE, and the DINING KEY (green).
- Unlock the door (Y) with the DINING KEY and turn the handle (A).
- Enter the Corridor.
- Pick up the PAPER (B).
- Zoom into the door lock (C).
- Hit the buttons in the following order: 2, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 2, and 3.
- Enter the Study.
- Open the curtains (D) and zoom into the window.
- Place the CRYSTAL HANDLE (E) to open the window.
- Enter the Balcony.
- OIL the hinge (F) and pull the ladder (G) down.
- Go down into the garden.
- Zoom into the crystal and place the SEAL (H).
- Pick up the PLANK (J).
- Zoom back into the SEAL for the code to the lock in the Study.
Chapter 2: Water Seal
- Return to the Study.
- Zoom into the lock (K) on the desk.
- Set the numbers to '259' to match those on the crystal under the SEAL.
- Place the MEDALLION on the lock (L).
- Zoom into the book (M); pick up the WOODEN FACE (N).
- Exit back to the Corridor and enter the Main Hall.
- Place the PLANK over the gap (O).
- Zoom into the crate (P); pick up the STRANGE MECHANICAL PART (Q).
- Zoom into the pillar's corner (R) to pick up the RUSTY SCREW.
- Move forward down the Corridor.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the ORNAMENT STAR.
- Pick up the RAG (R) and the PAPER (T).
- Zoom into the door lock (U).
- Rotate the tiles to form the storylines as shown in the screenshot.
- Enter the Study.
- Zoom into the window (V); pick up the STRANGE MECHANICAL PART (W).
- Clean the window with the RAG.
- Zoom into the family tree (X).
- Zoom into the gold shield (Y).
- Place the WOODEN FACE and swap the faces as shown in the screenshot.
- Click on the face with the seal (Z).
- Pick up the VENICE 1576 (A) and the NOTE behind it.
- Zoom into the desk lock (B) and set the dials to HITS from the NOTE.
- Place the MEDALLION on the lock (C).
- Pick up the TIME DEVICE (D).
- Follow the directions to arrive in the Dining Hall in 1830.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the CARVED CLOVER.
- Zoom back into the TIME DEVICE (E).
- Place the STRANGE MECHANICAL PARTS and VENICE 1576 as shown in the screenshot (@).
- Travel to the Main Hall in 1830 (#).
- Zoom into the box (F); place the ORNAMENT STAR as shown in the screenshot.
- Pick up the CARVED CLOVER (G).
- Travel to the Garden 1576.
- Zoom into the posts (H).
- Place the MEDALLION on the lock; open the box (I) and pick up VENICE 1410 (blue).
- Zoom back into the TIME MACHINE and place VENICE 1410.
- Travel to the Garden in 1410.
- Zoom into the water barrel (J); click on its leg (green).
- Close the window and zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the HATCHET.
- Zoom back into the water barrel; use the HATCHET on the leg.
- Zoom into the dirt (K); pick up the CARVED CLOVER (L).
- Enter the Workshop.
- Pick up the SMALL LAMP (M).
- Travel to the Garden 1576.
- Pick up the SCREW (N).
- Enter the Workshop.
- Remove the sheet over the desk and zoom into the desk top (O).
- Pick up the SUN (P).
- Pick up the CARVED CLOVER (Q).
- Remove the sheet from the back wall (R).
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the COPPER DISK.
- Travel to Study 1830.
- Zoom into the trunk (S); place the SUN in the lock (T).
- Pick up the CARVED CLOVER (U).
- Travel to the Garden in 1576.
- Zoom into the light (V).
- Place all the CARVED CLOVERS on the lock.
- Hit the clovers in the following order: 6, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7.
- Pick up the WATER SEAL (@).
- Travel to the Garden 1830.
- Place the WATER SEAL (W).
Chapter 3: Lightning Seal
- Go to the Fountain.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the COPPER DISK.
- Go to the Corridor past the Main Hall.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the WOODEN FACE.
- Enter the Study.
- Zoom into the family tree and the next portion of the puzzle.
- Place the faces as shown in the screenshot.
- Click on the face with the seal (X).
- Pick up the MANSION 1796 (Y).
- Zoom into the TIME MACHINE.
- Place the MANSION 1796.
- Travel to the Fountain 1796.
- Pick up the NAIL (A).
- Move forward to the Main Entrance.
- Pick up the RUNG (B).
- Enter the Dining Hall.
- Zoom into the fireplace (C); pick up the NAIL (green).
- Zoom into the table (D).
- Pick up the NAIL (green) and LIGHTNING CATCHER (green).
- Enter the Corridor.
- Pick up the RUNG (E) and the SMALL LAMP (F).
- Zoom into the base of the statue (G) to pick up the SCREW (H).
- Move forward to the Main Hall.
- Zoom into the stairs (I).
- Pick up the NAIL (J).
- Zoom into the paint thinner (K).
- Pick up the NAIL (L).
- Place the RUSTY SCREW in the paint thinner; pick it up as a SCREW.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Dip the brush (M) in the paint (N) and paint the rose (O). (Hint: right click to release the brush).
- Clean the shoe (P) with the rag (Q).
- Use the strainer (R) to get the fish out of the bucket (S).
- Receive the SCREWDRIVER.
- Move forward down the Corridor.
- Zoom into the lighting seal case (T).
- Pick up the RUNG (U).
- Zoom into the base of the statue (V).
- Pick up the NAIL (W).
- Travel to the Dining Hall 1830.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the OLD CLOTH.
- Travel to the Garden 1410.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Shoo the fly (X) to attract the spider.
- Pour the cup (Y) over the pot (Z) to get the rose.
- Receive the HAMMER.
- Enter the Workshop.
- Zoom into the SPOOL OF WIRE (A).
- Remove the screws (green) with the SCREWDRIVER and take the SPOOL OF WIRE.
- Travel to the Main Hall 1796.
- Zoom back into the stairs.
- Place the RUNGS and NAILS.
- Use the HAMMER and fix the broken rung (green) with the OLD CLOTH.
- Pick up the LADDER (B).
- Travel to the Garden 1410.
- Place the LADDER (C) and the SPOOL OF WIRE (D).
- Exit back to the garden; place the LIGHTNING CATCHER on the table ledge (E).
- Attach the wire as shown in the screenshot.
- Close the window and wait for the lightning.
- Zoom back into the ledge and pick up the CATCHER WITH LIGHTNING.
- Travel to the Corridor past the Main Hall 1796.
- Zoom into the lightning seal case (@).
- Place the CATCHER WITH LIGHTNING and attach the WIRE as shown in the screenshot.
- Pick up the LIGHTNING SEAL (F).
- Travel to the Garden 1830.
- Place the LIGHTNING SEAL (G).
Chapter 4: Replace the Seal
- Travel to the Workshop 1576.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Dip the paintbrush (H) into the paint (I) and paint the mask (J).
- Receive the HEX.
- Travel to the Workshop 1410.
- Zoom into the book (K).
- Place the HEX and the MEDALLION (#).
- Pick up the WOODEN FACE (L) and VIVIANA (M).
- Travel to the Study 1830.
- Zoom into the globe (N).
- Pick up MERLIN (O).
- Travel to the Dining Hall 1796.
- Zoom into the fireplace (P).
- Place MERLIN and VIVIANA as shown in the screenshot.
- Pick up the ROD (green) and FIREWOOD (green).
- Move to the Main Hall.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Dip the brush (Q) in the green paint (R) and paint the clover (S).
- Receive the SCREW.
- Zoom into the door lock (T).
- Place the SCREWS and turn each one (green).
- Move the dial (blue) along the (yellow) path to rotate the first pipe.
- You need to pass the next gear (red) two times from left to right, repeat for the last gear (pink).
- Follow the (green) path to insure that you do not spin the gears back and move the dial to the end (orange).
- Enter the Storeroom.
- Pick up the TIN DISK (V) and the SMALL LAMP (W).
- Move to the Main Hall 1830.
- Enter the Storeroom.
- Pick up the BOTTLE OF WATER (X) and the TILE WITH HOLE (Y).
- Travel to the Corridor past the Main Hall in 1796.
- Zoom into the door lock (Z).
- Place the TILE WITH HOLE and rotate the boxes as shown in the screenshot.
- Enter the Study.
- Pick up the INFINITY (A).
- Zoom into the book (B); pick up the TIN GOBLET (green).
- Zoom into the family tree.
- Place the WOODEN FACE and arrange all of the faces as shown in the screenshot.
- Click on the face with the seal (C).
- Pick up the SMALL LAMP (D).
- Go to the first Corridor.
- Zoom into the base of the statue and place the INFINITY (E).
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Open the box (F) with the key (G) to reveal the wreath.
- Open the next box (H) with the key (orange) from the first box to reveal the knight.
- Receive the COPPER DISK.
- Move to the Storeroom.
- Zoom into the door lock (I).
- Place all of the SMALL LAMPS as shown in the screenshot.
- Enter the basement.
- Pick up the MATCHES (J) and the TIN DISK (K).
- Travel to the Workshop 1576.
- Zoom into the desk.
- Place the TIN GOBLET on the anvil (L) and beat with the HAMMER until it is a TIN DISK.
- Pick up the TIN DISK.
- Travel to the Main Hall 1830.
- Enter the Basement.
- Pick up the AXE (M).
- Back up one scene to the Storeroom.
- Using the AXE, bust open the wall (N).
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Place the pepper (O) in the mill (P).
- Place the handle (Q) on the mill.
- Crank the handle and open the mills drawer to reveal the milled pepper.
- Drag the bow (R) across the violin (S) to create the music.
- Receive the PETROL.
- Return to the Basement.
- Zoom into the machine (T) and place all of the TIN DISKS and COPPER DISKS.
- Move a COPPER DISK on to the middle peg (2).
- Move the rest of the COPPER DISKS to peg (3).
- Move the TIN and COPPER DISKS to peg (2) as shown in the screenshot.
- Zoom into the smelter (U).
- Pick up the CHISEL (V) and place the ROD as shown in the screenshot.
- Zoom into the furnace (W).
- Open the oven drawer (X) and place the FIREWOOD inside.
- Pour in the PETROL and light with the MATCHES.
- Back up to the Storeroom again.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Place the spade (Y) in the boxes lock (Z) to reveal the coins.
- Move the fan (!) to reveal the anchor.
- Receive the EMPTY GAS CAN.
- Move to the Garden.
- Using the CHISEL, remove the broken SEAL (A).
- Travel to the Basement 1796.
- Zoom into the petrol (B).
- Place the EMPTY GAS CAN as shown in the screenshot.
- Once it is full pick up the FULL GAS CAN.
- Travel to the Basement 1830.
- Zoom back into the furnace and place the FULL GAS CAN as shown in the screenshot.
- Pick up the GYPSUM (C).
- Travel to the Workshop 1576.
- Zoom into the desk.
- Place the GYPSUM in the box (D).
- Follow with the BOTTLE OF WATER.
- Pick up the stick (E) and stir the mixture.
- Place the BROKEN SEAL in the mold.
- Travel to the Basement 1830.
- Zoom back into the smelter and place the BROKEN SEAL.
- Pick up the CRUCIBLE (F).
- Zoom back into the furnace.
- Open the oven (G); place the CRUCIBLE inside to receive the CRUCIBLE MELTED.
- Travel back to the Workshop 1576.
- Pour the CRUCIBLE MELTED in the mold to receive the SEAL.
- Travel to the Garden 1830.
- Replace the SEAL.
Chapter 5: Earth Seal
- Move to the Corridor past the Main Hall.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the SHOVEL.
- Return to Home 1830.
- Zoom into the planter (H).
- Use the SHOVEL on the plant (I).
- Travel to the garden 1410.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Dip the paintbrush (J) in the blue paint (K) and paint the duck (L).
- Open the helmet (M) to reveal the ant.
- Move the fern (#) to reveal the hedgehog.
- Receive the BRASS LEAF.
- Zoom into the soil (N) and SHOVEL out a hole.
- Travel to the Garden 1576.
- Zoom into the raw soil (O) and SHOVEL the dirt.
- Enter the Workshop.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Place the arrow (P) in the crossbow (Q).
- Receive the WOODEN FACE.
- Travel to the Corridor past the Main Hall in 1796.
- Zoom into the base of the statue and place the BRASS LEAF (R).
- Open the box (S) and pick up the VENICE 1797 (green).
- Enter the Study.
- Zoom into the family tree.
- Arrange the faces as shown in the screenshot.
- Click on the face with the seal (T).
- Pick up the ACORN (U).
- Zoom into the TIME MACHINE and place the VENICE 1797.
- Travel to the Garden 1797.
- Enter the Workshop to receive the OAK KEY.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the MASK KEY.
- Pick up the BOX THIS FEATHERS (U).
- Travel to the Garden 1410.
- Plant the ACORN in the soil.
- Enter the Workshop.
- Zoom into the masks (V).
- Place the BOX THIS FEATHERS as shown in the screenshot.
- Move the masks to the BOX THIS FEATHERS.
- Open the chest with the MASK KEY.
- Pick up the RED STAR (W) and ROBOT HEART (X).
- Travel to the Basement 1830.
- Place the ROBOT HEART in the robots chest (Y).
- Go through the door (@) to OAK HALL.
- Back up two scenes to the Storeroom.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the CROWBAR.
- Exit the Dining Hall to the Main Entrance.
- Remove the boards from the door with the CROWBAR (green).
- Pick up the PLANKS WITH NAILS (Z) and the STICK (A).
- Travel to the Garden 1576.
- Zoom into the tree (B); HAMMER the PLANKS WITH NAILS.
- Zoom into the Treetop.
- Pick up all of the ACORNS (green).
- Travel to the Garden 1797.
- Zoom into the Tree House (C).
- Zoom into the ropes (D); unscramble as shown in the screenshot (E).
- Receive the ROPE.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the BLUE STAR.
- Enter the Bedroom (F).
- Pick up the TORN PAGE (G) and the CORK (H).
- Travel to the Bedroom 1576.
- Remove the sheets.
- Pick up the SECATEUR (I) and the WOODEN FACE (J).
- Travel to the Study 1796.
- Zoom into the book (M); place the TORN PAGE.
- Zoom into the family tree.
- Place all of the faces as shown in the screenshot.
- Click on the face with the seal (K).
- Pick up the CRYSTAL HEART (L).
- Travel to the Dining hall 1830.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the DYE BOTTLE.
- Move to the Main Hall.
- Zoom into the box (N); place the RED STAR and the BLUE STAR as shown in the screenshot.
- Pick up the PEACOCK FEATHER (O).
- Move to the Oak Hall.
- Place the ROPE on the tree (P).
- Zoom into the SEAL (Q).
- Go ahead and place the ACORNS in the basin (R).
- Travel to the Workshop 1576.
- Zoom into the desk and place the DYE BOTTLE as shown in the screenshot.
- Mix the YELLOW and BLUE DYES (green) in the DYE BOTTLE to get GREEN DYE.
- Pick up the GREEN DYE.
- Travel to the Workshop 1797.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the GREEN STAR.
- Go outside and enter the Tree House.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the SPIGOT.
- Travel to the Corridor outside of the Dining Hall 1796.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Open the box (S) with the key (T) to reveal the sparrow.
- Receive the FILE.
- Travel to Home 1830.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Place the chalk (U) in the mortar (V) and click on the pistol to grind the chalk into white powder.
- Receive the GLASS CONTAINER.
- Zoom back into the flower pot.
- Place the SEEDLING (X) in the GLASS CONTAINER.
- Travel to the Garden 1576.
- Zoom into the raw dirt (Y) and plant the SEEDLING.
- Use the SHOVEL to fill in the dirt and place the STICK to hold the SEEDLING up.
- Travel to the Garden 1797.
- Zoom into the grapes (Z).
- Cut all three GRAPES (green) with the SECATEUR.
- Travel to the Storeroom 1796.
- Zoom into the wine press (A).
- Place the SPIGOT and EMPTY BOTTLE as shown in the screenshot.
- Place the GRAPES inside the press and spin the handle (B).
- Zoom into the BOTTLE and place the CORK to receive the BOTTLE OF WINE.
- Place the WINE BOTTLE on the shelf (@).
- Travel to the Main Hall 1830.
- Zoom into the box (C) and place the GREEN STAR.
- Pick up the GLOVE (D).
- Enter the Storeroom.
- Pick up the BOTTLE OF WINE (E).
- Go to the Oak Hall.
- Zoom into the basin and place the PEACOCK FEATHER, GREEN DYE, BOTTLE OF WINE, and the GLOVE.
- Receive the MAGIC GLOVE.
- Pick up the EARTH SEAL (#) with the MAGIC GLOVE.
- Move to the Garden.
- Place the EARTH SEAL (F).
Chapter 6: Heart Seal
- Go to the Fountain.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Use the peeler (G) on the potato (H).
- Open the bottle (I) with the corkscrew (J) to reveal the letter.
- Move the towel (K) to reveal the grapes.
- Drag the brush (!) over the painting (@) to get the two dear.
- Receive the BRASS LEAF.
- Travel to the Workshop 1797.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the SLICE.
- Go to the Tree House.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the WRENCH.
- Travel to the Corridor outside the Dining Hall 1796.
- Zoom into the door lock (L).
- Place the SLICE in the lock.
- One possible solution is to hit the dials in the following order: 3, 3, 4, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, and 3.
- Enter the room.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the BRASS LEAF.
- Travel to the Mansion Gate 1830.
- Remove the VIOLET STAR (M) with the WRENCH.
- Go to Home.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Receive the KNOB.
- Place the KNOB on the dresser drawer (N).
- Open the drawer and pick up the ACID (O).
- Return to the Mansion.
- Zoom into the chain (P).
- Pour the ACID over the chain to open the gate.
- Pick up the TIME DEVICE (Q).
- Move to the Main Hall.
- Zoom back into the box (R) and place the VIOLET STAR.
- Cut the bars (S) with the FILE.
- Pick up the HEART (green).
- Move back to Home.
- Zoom into the box (T).
- Place both HEART PIECES in the rattle (U).
- Pick up the HEART SEAL (green) when the rattle opens.
- Return to the Garden and place the HEART SEAL (W).
- Go to Oak Hall.
- When to game spits you out in the Main Hall pick up the BRASS LEAF (X).
- Travel to the Basement.
- Zoom into the door lock (Y).
- Place the BRASS LEAVES on the lock.
- Push the top green button (!).
- Push the white buttons in the following order: 4, 1, 5, 3, and 2.
- Set the rings, as shown in the screenshot, in the following order: (#, @, $, and %).
- Enter Oak Hall.
- Open the chest (Z) with the OAK KEY.
- Pick up the SIGNET (A).
- Move to the Balcony.
- Zoom into the machine (B).
- Open the lock with the MEDALLION.
- Place the SIGNET (C).
- Move back into the Study.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Open the door (D) to reveal the doll, shoe, and the Taj Mahal.
- Receive the GLASS PIPE.
- Move back to the Corridor.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Place the horn (E) on the horse to make a unicorn.
- Receive the GLASS PIPE.
- Go to the Main Hall.
- Zoom into the sparkles to play a HOS.
- Dip the brush (G) in the green paint (Z) and paint the spade (H).
- Receive the GLASS PIPE.
- Return to the Balcony.
- Zoom back into the machine and place all three GLASS PIPES.
- Rotate the pipes to create a path as shown in the screenshot.
- Congratulations! You have completed Time Mysteries: The Ancient Spsctres!
