General Tips & Information
- Select “Change Player” on the main screen to add or delete player profiles (A).
- You may play this game in full screen or windowed mode by changing the settings in the options menu (B).
- You may adjust the volume of voice, music, ambient noise and FX sounds in the options menu.
- You may easy mode in the options menu which will give you hint sparkles.
- You may play in fullscreen or windowed mode.
- Select play to start your game (C).
- The options menu is accessible from both the main screen and the in-game menu.
- Once you complete sections of the game you will have access to videos from the game (D).
- Once you start the game you will have a brief tutorial, which may be skipped.
- Use the menu button to access options or to return to the main menu (E).
- The journal in the lower left corner will document your explorations as well as the valuable clues you find (F).
- You inventory is in the lower bar and will hide when not in use. (G).
- There are scroll buttons to move your inventory left or right (H).
- When playing a hidden object scene, your inventory will be hidden.
- Hints are unlimited, but you must wait for the mirror to reform.
- Hints during game-play will point you in the correct direction.
- The flashlight is in the lower right corner (I).
- When playing a mini-game click on the “X” in the upper right to exit (J).
- Mini-games can be skipped, but you must wait for the skip meter to fill (K).
Intro
- Take the FUNNEL and use it on the open fuel port (A).
- Note that inventory items will go automatically into your inventory at the bottom of the screen.
- Move the briefcase that is hiding the GAS CAN (B).
- Take the GAS CAN and use it on the fuel port (C).
- Look at the helm to learn that Angel put the start key in her purse (D).
- Click on the purse to open it and take the key (E).
- Try to use the key in the ignition, but it breaks off.
- Look at the sparkling picnic box in the lower left for a hidden object area (F).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The KNIFE will go automatically into your inventory.
- Use the KNIFE to pry open the ignition (G).
- Click on the wires to start the boat (H).
- Select the SNAKE FIGURINE to show Angel (I).
Chapter One
- Select the sparkling area of the boat on the lower right.
- Collect all the items on the list.
- The STEPLADDER will go automatically into your inventory.
- Look at the laptop case (A).
- Click on the case to open it.
- Take the FLASHLIGHT (B).
- Click on the laptop top open it up (C).
- Click again to turn it over and see that you need a screwdriver to open the battery panel.
- Look at the suitcase (D).
- You will need to find the combination.
- Look at the cave and use the STEPLADDER to gain access (E).
- Enter the cave and take the KEY (F).
- Use the FLASHLIGHT on the dark hole (G).
- Go down the hole and look at the large door.
- Look at the close-up of the niches around the door and use the SNAKE STATUETTE on the niche.
- Exit the cave and look at the chain link fence (H).
- Click on the sparkling area of the boat for another hidden object scene (I).
- Collect all the items on the list.
- The PLIERS will go automatically into your inventory.
- Use the PLIERS on the chain link fence.
- Walk through the fence.
- Read the flyer on the missing woman (J).
- Take the cigarette case (K).
- Walk to the ship (L).
- Look at the close-up of the fire and take the GRAPPLING HOOK (M).
- Use the GRAPPLING HOOK on the hole in the boat (N).
- Enter the hole in the boat (O).
- Look at the broken pink laptop on the bed (P).
- Look at the back of the laptop and take the MICROCHIP (Q).
- Note the painting on the left (R).
- Note the ashes in the fireplace (S).
- Walk forward through the door (T).
- Enter the door on the right and take the SNAKE STATUETTE from the stairs (U).
- Take the FUSE from the control panel (V).
- Note that something is under the bunched carpet (W).
- Note the far left door (X).
- Use the KEY on the center door and enter the room (Y).
- Select the sparkling area under the bed for a hidden object area.
- Collect all the items on the list.
- The CHISEL will go automatically into your inventory.
- Move the pillow aside and take the CELL PHONE (A).
- Read the newspaper on the bed (B).
- Look out the porthole (C).
- Use the CHISEL to open the locked nightstand drawer (D).
- Look at the close-up of the drawer and take the SCALPEL (E).
- Take the PHONE CHARGER and use it on the outlet (F).
- Place the CELL PHONE in the charger (G).
- Look at the cellphone and use the arrow keys to read all the messages (H).
- Find the photo of the suitcase combination (I).
- Note- the combination is random and will differ game to game.
- Exit the room.
- Use the SCALPEL on the bunched carpet to reveal a trap door needing three keys (J).
- Enter the far left room.
- Look at the jukebox and it will fall through the floor revealing a hot wire (K).
- Move the lever on the bar to reveal the area on the left (L).
- Click on the teapot if you are thirsty and take a drink from the glass of water on the bar (M).
- Select the sparkling are for a hidden object scene (N).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The SCOOP will go automatically into your inventory.
- Walk down twice to return to the stateroom.
- Look at the close-up of the fireplace and use the SCOOP on the ashes (O).
- Take the FLASH DRIVE (P).
- Use the SCALPEL on the painting to reveal a safe (Q).
- Click on the safe for a mini-game (R).
- Use the up, down, left and right arrows to move the squares over the same colored space (U, D, L, R).
- Press the arrows: 2U, 3U, 4U, 1Lx3, 2Lx2, 6Dx3, 7R, 5R, 4R, 6Dx2, 5D, 4L, and 4D.
- Take the SNAKE STATUETTE and the BODY OIL from the safe (S).
- Exit the close-up of the safe and walk down three times to return to the beach.
- Look at the close-up of the suitcase lock (T).
- Enter the code found on the cellphone.
- Look in your journal if your forgot the number (U).
- Remember this code will be different for everyone.
- Inside the suitcase, take the SNAKE STATUETTE (V).
- Open the eyeglass case and take the SCREWDRIVER (W).
- Read the diary (X).
- Open the ring box and take the RING (Y).
- Look at the close-up of the laptop bag (A).
- Look at the close-up of the battery panel and use the SCREWDRIVER on the four screws (B).
- Remove the dead microchip and place the MICROCHIP in its place (C).
- Use the FLASH DRIVE on the USB port (D).
- Read the diary by pressing the arrows (E).
- Exit the close-up of the laptop.
Chapter Two
- Follow the path the kidnapper took and walk to the right.
- Take the LIGHTER from the ground (A).
- Walk forward (B).
- Take the AXE from the ground (C).
- Take the BELT from the PUMP (D).
- Take the SNAKE STATUETTE from the fountain (E).
- Make note of the fire, power box and newspaper machine (F).
- Take the right path (G).
- Note the fire hydrant (H).
- Read the newspaper (I).
- Click on the gate to open it (J).
- Look at the door on the crashed cart to learn you need to break the lock (K).
- Look at the board to see more missing persons (L).
- Use the AXE on the wooden door (M).
- Enter the building on the left.
- Select the sparkling truck on the right for a hidden object area.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The HEDGE CLIPPERS will go automatically into your inventory.
- Look in the file drawer and take the SNAKE STATUETTE (N).
- Read the missing persons files (O).
- Note the dartboard (P).
- Look at the jail cell and note the combination lock (Q).
- Move the helmet and take the ZODIAC TILE (R).
- Note the missing dial on the telephone (S).
- Exit the jailhouse and walk to the right through the gate.
- Look at the bottom panel of the statue base to see that it is loose (T).
- Use the HEDGE CLIPPERS on the dead roses (U).
- Take the KEY and the DRIED ROSES (V).
- Note the side window to the mansion (W).
- Take the path to the other side of the house (X).
- Look at the garden map (A).
- The map will be automatically noted in your journal.
- Walk to the cellar door (B).
- Use the AXE to cut the large branch from the tree (C).
- Use the AXE again to remove the smaller branches.
- KINDLING will go automatically into your inventory.
- Use the KEY to open the gate (D).
- Select the sparkling area of the cellar door for a hidden object area.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The HACKSAW will go automatically into your inventory.
- Walk down twice, then use the HACKSWAW on the grate covering the side window.
- Click to remove the bars, then enter the house.
- Open the drawer on the round table and take the REVOLVER (F).
- Look at the close-up of the fireplace (G).
- Place the DRIED ROSES (H) in the fireplace and use the LIGHTER to start a fire (I).
- Place the KINDLING on the flames (J).
- Look at the area the smoke moves to near the grandfather clock (K).
- Use the SCALPEL to cut the wall paper (L).
- Click on the wall to remove the wallpaper.
- Note the mini-game needs zodiac tiles (M).
- Walk up the stairs (N).
- Look at the close-up of the vent and use the SCREWDRIVER to remove the four screws and cover (O).
- Look inside the vent and take the ZODIAC TILE (P).
- Open the door to see the snake blocking the way (Q).
- Use the BODY OIL on the two left bannister balls (R).
- Turn the three bannister balls so the “E” symbol is showing (S).
- Take the SNAKE STATUETTE from the secret compartment on the stairs (T).
- Exit the house and go along the front of the house to the cellar door.
- Select the sparkling cellar door for a hidden object area.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The BUTTERFLY NET will go automatically into your inventory.
- Walk down three times and enter the jailhouse.
- Select the sparkling truck for a hidden object area.
- The NEEDLE & THREAD will go automatically into your inventory.
- Exit the jailhouse.
- Look at the door of the crashed truck.
- Use the REVOLVER to break the padlock (U).
- Use the NEEDLE & THREAD to repair the bag (V).
- Take the BAG and the ZODIAC TILE that is hidden underneath (W).
- Exit the close-up and return to the second floor of the mansion.
- Use the BUTTERFLY NET on the snake (X).
- Use the BAG to capture the snake (Y).
- Enter the study (Z).
- Look at the cabinet and take the ZODIAC TILE (A).
- Look at the zodiac wheel on the chair (B).
- Note the balcony door's missing handle (C).
- Exit the study and walk downstairs.
- Look at the area by the grandfather clock.
- Place the four ZODIAC TILES into the slots below the tile on the wall (D).
- Select the tiles for a mini-game.
- Move each tile so that it is next to the proper element (E).
- Refer to your journal- red is a fire sign, blue is water, white for air and green for earth.
- Look inside the compartment and take the SNAKE STATUETTE and the MONKEY WRENCH (F).
- Exit the mansion and return to the cellar for a hidden object area.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The HOSE will go automatically into your inventory.
- Walk down three times until you are in front of the jailhouse.
- Use the HOSE on the hydrant (G).
- Use the MONKEY WRENCH on the hydrant (H).
- Walk down to the fountain.
- Take the hose end and use it on the fire (I).
Chapter Three
- Go forward on the left path twice.
- Look at the map on the ground (A).
- Walk left, left, forward, and right.
- Take the SNAKE STATUETTE from the ground (B).
- Walk forward twice to arrive at the dock area.
- Walk forward to enter the docks (C).
- Select the sparkling area on the right for a hidden object area.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The KEY will go automatically into your inventory.
- Walk down five times, then go forward on the right path.
- Use the SCALPEL to open the teddy bear (D).
- Take the KEY from the teddy bear (E).
- Note the church and the gear on the bike wheel (F).
- Select the sparkling area on the left for a hidden object scene (G).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The SUN will go automatically into your inventory.
- Walk to the church.
- Look at the photo of you and your sister (H).
- Note the plaque and the cemetery (I).
- Use the KEY (with the cross) to open the church doors (J).
- Select the sparkling bell for a hidden object scene.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The HANDKERCHIEF will go automatically into your inventory.
- Use the HANDKERCHIEF on the font (K).
- Use the WET HANDKERCHIEF to clean the stained glass window (L).
- Take the book from the window (M).
- Note the altar (N).
- Walk down four times, then take the path to the right.
- Return to the mansion and enter the first floor.
- Look at the fireplace and take a COAL.
- Walk upstairs and enter the study.
- Place the SUN on the front of the globe (O).
- Take the SNAKE STATUETTE and the BOOK from the globe (P).
- Look at the cabinet and place both books on the shelf (Q).
- Place the books in chronological order (R).
- Enter the secret room (S).
- Look at the desk and take the STENCIL (T).
- Look at the window and take the BROKEN PENDANT (U).
- Note the porcelain cat (V).
- Click on the bed curtain to move it to the right (W).
- Look at the top of the chest for a mini-game (X).
- Number the squares from left to right, then down.
- Click on: 2x2, 3x3, 4x3, and 1.
- Inside the chest take the PAPER.
- Note the diary with the heart indentation.
- Make note of the bricked doorway (Y).
- Exit the mansion.
- Walk to the cellar for a hidden object scene.
- Locate all the hidden objects on the list.
- The SLEDGEHAMMER will go automatically into your inventory.
- Exit the cellar door.
- Walk forward twice and take the SNAKE STATUETTE (A).
- Walk left, then forward.
- Look in the tree and use the key on the chest (B).
- Take the DART (C).
- Walk down twice, right, forward, then right.
- Look in the tree and use the key on the chest (E).
- Take the DART and the SNAKE STATUETTE (F).
- Walk down and forward.
- Look in the tree and use the key on the chest (G).
- Take the DART (H).
- Walk down seven times and enter the jailhouse.
- Select the sparkling area of the truck on the right.
- Collect all the items on the list.
- The other half of the broken pendant will go automatically into your inventory.
- Exit the jailhouse and return to the secret room on the second floor of the mansion.
- Look a the the chest on the bed.
- Place both BROKEN PENDANT pieces into the heart shape on the diary (H).
- Click on the diary to open it and take the diagram (I).
- Use the SLEDGEHAMMER on the bricked-up door.
- Take the STRANGE DISK (J).
- Exit the mansion, then walk down twice.
- Walk forward on the left path, then forward on the right path twice to end in front of the church.
- Place the PAPER on the plaque (K).
- Use the COAL on the paper to make a rubbing (L).
- Look at the paper to see a series of symbols (M).
- Enter the church.
- Look at the close-up of the stained glass window and place the STENCIL in the lower left pane (N).
- Use the RING on the stencil (O).
- Exit the close-up and look at the floor (P).
- Flip the lighted squares (Q).
- Walk to the altar (R).
- Look at the compartment that was under the altar (S).
- Use the STRANGE DISC on the device for a mini-game (T).
- Refer to your journal for the correct sequence of symbols (U).

- Exit the altar area.

- Look at the file that was under truck (W).
- Take the NOTE with the phone number (X).
- Use the three DARTS on the dartboard (A).
- Take the PHONE DIAL once the dartboard falls (B).
- Place the PHONE DIAL on the phone (C).
- Place the NOTE at the bottom of the phone (D).
- Dial the numbers from the note.
- Look at your journal if the numbers are hard to see.
- Exit the jailhouse and walk up to the statue in front of the mansion.
- Look at the base of the statue.
- Use the HAMMER on the loose panel (E).
- Note the lock (F).
- Take the KEY (G).
- Enter the mansion.
- Take the SNAKE STATUETTE from the phone (H).
- Walk upstairs to the secret room.
- Look at the window.
- Use the HAMMER on the ceramic cat (I).
- Take the COINS (J).
- Exit the mansion.
- Walk down twice to the fountain area.
- Use the COINS on the newspaper machine (K).
- Look at the newspaper after it falls from the machine (L).
- Take the KEY (M).
- Walk down twice, then up to the ship.
- Return to the Doctor's middle cabin.
- Select the sparkling area for a hidden object scene.
- Collect all the items on the list.
- The KEY will go automatically into your inventory.
- Exit the cabin and look at the hatch on the floor.
- Use the ship KEY on the left keyhole (N).
- Use the helm KEY on the upper keyhole (O).
- Use the anchor KEY on the right keyhole (P).
- Take the SNAKE STATUETTE from the compartment (Q).
- Exit the ship and walk down to the beach.
- Exit the ship and walk down to the beach.
- Enter the cave and climb down the hole.
- Place all the SNAKE STATUETTES into all the niches around the door (R).
Chapter Four
- Walk forward through the snake door.
- Try to open the hatch (A).
- Note the hook overhead (B).
- Exit to the beach.
- Select the sparkling area on the right for a hidden object area.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The WEIGHT will go automatically into your inventory.
- Exit the beach and take the left path to the ship.
- Enter the ship, exit the stateroom, then enter the left door.
- Select the sparkling area by the stage for a hidden object area.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The ROPE will go automatically into your inventory.
- Exit the ship and return to the beach.
- Enter the cave, climb down the hole and enter the snake door.
- Use the ROPE on the hatch (C).
- Take the end of the rope and use it on the hook (D).
- Use the WEIGHT on the hanging end of the rope (E).
- Enter the water (F).
- Move the rocks on the right of the gate to find the wrench (G).
- Look at the control panel and remove three pieces of seaweed (H).
- Look at the panel to see you are missing parts (I).
- Exit the cavern and the cave.
- Walk forward then take the right path.
- Walk forward again, then take the left, then right paths.
- Use the WRENCH on the bicycle wheel to get the gear (J).
- Walk down five times, then enter the cave.
- Return to the water filled cavern and look at the control panel.
- Use the BELT (K) and the GEAR on the panel (L).
- Pull the lever down (M).
- The gate is stuck.
- Exit to the beach.
- Staying to the right, walk forward until you reach the crashed truck.
- Take the JACK (N).
- Return to the water filled cavern and use the JACK on the grate (O).
- Dive into the hole to swim under the grate (P).
- Swim up to leave the water.
- Take the bracelet from the ground.
- Walk forward, then take the forward left door.
- Walk forward, right and forward.
- Look down the grate in the center to see Angel (Q).
- Note the indentations around the grate. (R).
- Note the headless snake (S).
- Look at the markings on the ceremonial dagger (T).
- The sequence of symbols will be noted in your journal.
- Walk down until you reach the beach.
- Return to the statue in front of the mansion.
- Look at the base of the statue (U).
- Using the sequence from the knife (see your journal), press the buttons in order (V).
- Use the lever to reset if you make a mistake (W).
- Numbering the buttons 1-5, from left to right, our sequence was 5-3-4-1-2.
- Your sequence may differ.
- Click on the revealed circle for a mini-game (X).
- The object is to move the symbols to the circle it is related to.
- Animals go with the paw, machines with the gear, plants with the leaf and insects with the bug.
- This puzzle is random, our solution is above.
- Take the STONE HEAD that is hidden behind the mini-game.
- Return to the ritual chamber.
- Place the STONE HEAD on the snake body (A).
- Look in the large snake's mouth and take the BADGE (B).
- Look in the center pit to see it is too deep to jump (C).
- Exit to the beach and return to the jailhouse.
- Look at the jail cell.
- Place the BADGE into the matching niche under the dials (D).
- Enter the number from the badge onto the dials (E).
- Once the cell opens, click on the skeleton's arm (F).
- Take the START KEY that falls to the floor (G).
- Exit the jail and walk down once.
- Take the upper left path twice and go right twice.
- Go forward four times to reach the crane.
- Use the START KEY on the lock (H).
- Take the CROWBAR from the seat (I).
- Look at the control panel (J).
- Place the START KEY in the ignition (K).
- Click on the key to power up.
- Press the windshield wiper button (L).
- Move the right control to the right once (M).
- Move the left control down (N).
- Press the hook button (O).
- Move the left control up.
- Move the right control left twice and up once.
- Move the left control down then press the hook button.
- From the docks, walk down nine times to return to the beach.
- Enter the cave and continue until you swim under the grate.
- Walk forward, left, forward and left.
- Use the CROWBAR to open the chest (P).
- Take the LOCKET from the chest (Q).
- Walk down, right and forward.
- Look at the well in the center of the room.
- Place the LOCKET into the indentation (R).
- Once the platform rises, take Angel (S).
Chapter Five
- Leave Angel by the fire and return to the docks.
- Use the CROWBAR on the crate three times (T).
- Take the BATTERY from inside the crate.
- Note the boarding ramp (U).
- Select the sparkling area on the right for a hidden object area (V).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The VALVE will go automatically into your inventory.
- Use the boarding ramp to access the ship.
- Use the VALVE on the door (W).
- Click on the valve to open the door.
- Use the HAMMER to break the window (X).
- Take the ROUND KEY PIECE (Y).
- Select the sparkling area on the deck for a hidden object area (Z).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The DOOR KNOB will go automatically into your inventory.
- Exit the docks and return to the mansion.
- Walk upstairs to the study and look at the terrace door.
- Use the DOOR HANDLE on the door (A).
- Click on the handle to open the door (B).
- Take the SPADE (C).
- Exit the mansion and return to the churchyard.
- Look at the close-up of the graveyard.
- Use the SPADE to dig the object out of the ground (D).
- Take the ROUND KEY PIECE (E).
- Leave the church area and return to the docks.
- Use the ramp to access the ship and enter the door.
- Walk down the stairs.
- Select the sparkling area on the left for a hidden object scene.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The FUSE will go automatically into your inventory.
- Look at the safe and use the two ROUND KEY PIECES in the hole (1).
- The safe will automatically open.
- Take the yellow fuse (2).
- Walk through the right doors.
- Remove the spike in the console (F).
- Open the second drawer on the right and take the fuse (G).
- Use the CROWBAR on the top left drawer and take the fuse (H).
- Look at the panel the spike was in and use the SCREWDRIVER to remove the four screws (I).
- Click to remove the current fuses and place the five fuses from your inventory into the color coordinated slots (J).
- Look at the panel to learn you need an access card.
- Exit the room.
- Exit to the deck and select the sparkling area for a hidden object scene.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- The ACCESS CARD will go automatically into your inventory.
- Return to the control room.
- Look at the control panel and use the ACCESS CARD in the slot (K).
- Select Power Supply (L).
- Select Emergency Power Off (M).
- Exit the ship and walk down times and take the red HOSE.
- Return to the docks and enter the ship.
- Walk down the stairs.
- Look at the lock to the wet dock.
- Four numbers are more worn than the others (N).
- Determine the code by trying different combinations.
- The first number will be green if correct.
- The first will turn red if you enter the second number incorrectly.
- Press the back button or reset button to try again (O).
- Our number was 4816- yours may differ.
- Take the plug and place it in the outlet (P).
- Use the HOSE on the PUMP (Q).
- Press the button to start the pump (R).
- Take the end of the hose and use it on the open doorway to the wet dock (S).
- Enter the wet dock.
- Open the O2 port on the submarine (T).
- Take the end of the hose and use it in the port (U).
- Remove the hose and close the port.
- Flip the switch on the left wall (V).
- Exit the wet dock and go to the control room.
- Look at the control panel.
- Select Floodgate Control (W).
- Select Lower Submersible (X).
- Exit and return to the wet dock.
- Enter the submarine.
- Open the battery compartment (A).
- Remove the old battery (B).
- Place the BATTERY in the compartment (C).
