INTRODUCTION

General Tips

• There is a good variety of puzzles in the game, but you cannot skip them. Some of the puzzle solutions are random. If you get stuck in a puzzle, you can look for the solution in the walkthrough.
• The game does not have a timer, so you do not have to worry about any time constraints.
• You cannot use the hints system when you are in a puzzle scene. Just read the instructions at the beginning of each level to know what you have to do.
• Your cursor will spin around wildly if you click randomly in the scene.
• Each time you play the game, you will be given new items to look for. However, the puzzles will mostly be the same each time, but some of the final solutions may vary.

Your Trunk

• Your trunk is located in the lower left side of the scene. It stores all of your inventory items.
• To access the trunk, simply click on the icon in the lower left side. Once the trunk opens, you can look at all the items that are stored in there.
• To close the trunk, simply click on any part of it and you will be returned to the scene you were working on.
• The items in your trunk will only be used during the puzzle scenes; you will never need to use them in any of the Hidden Object searches.
• While using your items during a puzzle scene, not all of the items in the trunk will need to be used. The game will automatically make available whatever you need for a particular puzzle.

Compass Hints/ Diamonds

• You will find a compass in the very first scene you encounter in this game. Use the compass to help you locate hidden items in a scene.
• You have unlimited hints with the compass, but you must wait for it to recharge before you can use it again.
• Click on the compass when it is recharged, and it will form a circle around an item in the scene.
• Since the circle is rather large, make sure that you click in the center of the circle to find the item you’re looking for.
• The item the compass shows you is random, there’s no way to choose the item you need help locating.
• If you want the hints to recharge faster, click on the diamonds that are scattered around the scene.
• The diamonds also earn you extra points each time you find them.
• There are plenty of diamonds throughout each scene. Look carefully around for them so you can increase your score in the game.
• Your compass will not be activated during any of the puzzles.

Walkthrough

• The walkthrough will give you the solutions, and explanations, for all the puzzles in the game.
• Please keep in mind that some of the puzzle solutions are random. We’ve included alternate solutions whenever possible.
• If you get stuck on a puzzle and you want to reset it, exit out of the game and you will start at the beginning of that puzzle. This will help you if you want to use one of the solutions in the walkthrough.
• In the Hidden Object scenes, we’ve circled all the items that came up for us during play. Your results may vary.

CHAPTER ONE

Platform 3A

• Before you start looking for objects, click on the large red and gray compass that is on the right side of the platform.
• Once you pick up the compass, it will go in the upper left corner of your page. You can use the compass to help you find objects.
• The compass needs time to recharge, but you can activate it faster by collecting the tiny diamonds that are scattered in each scene.
• Find the rest of the items in the scene.

Your Hotel Room

• The paper pieces are highlighted in green in the screenshot.
• Everything else on the list is highlighted in purple.

Fix the Map

• In this puzzle all you have to do is drag the map pieces around until you can piece the puzzle back together.
• You cannot rotate the puzzle pieces. Just place them around the outline of the board.
• Map pieces will lock themselves in, once they are in the right place.
• Please look at the screenshot for the solution.

Beneath the Bridge

• The three rings are highlighted in green in the screenshot.
• The five stones in the scene are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.
• Everything else in the scene is highlighted in purple.

Mysterious Stones Puzzle

• In this puzzle you have to arrange all the stones correctly on the wall under the bridge.
• Grab the stones from the left side of the scene and place them on the wall on the right side of the bridge.
• Pay attention to the lines on the stones; use the lines as your guide for placing the stones.
• Please look at the screenshot for the solution.
• Once all the pieces are in the right place, some keys will appear on the scene, click on them to end the level.

Unlock the Door

• Your goal in this game is to click on the keys in the right sequence so you can unlock the door.
• If you look on the right side of the wall, you will see some markings on the side of the door. Those markings show you the direction the keys need to be in to unlock the door.
• The top key turns itself and the middle key.
• The middle key turns all the keys in the same direction.
• The bottom key turns itself and the middle key.
• For the solution, number the keys from 1 to 3, starting at the top. The solution is random; it depends on the starting position for your keys. The screenshots shows you two different starting positions.
• Click on the keys in the following order:First Solution: 1-1-1-2. Alternate Solution: 1-1-1-2-2-2.

The Main Stage

• The six ropes are highlighted in green in the screenshot.
• The two paintings are in yellow.
• All the other items are highlighted in light blue.

Repair the Rope

• Your goal is to place the ropes on the left in the appropriate places in the scene.
• Keep in mind that the shapes of the ropes on the left are a mirror image of the ropes in the scene. The shapes will change once they are on your cursor.
• Grab the ropes from the left side of the page.
• Drag the ropes to one of the empty spots in the scene.
• Let go of the mouse when you find the right place.
• The ropes will attach themselves to the right spots. If they do not stick to a spot, just keep dragging them around until you find the right place for it.
• Once all the ropes are in place, the curtains will open. Click on the knife that appears behind the curtains.

Inside The Organ Repair Shop

• The three organ cards are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.
• The painting is highlighted in red in the screenshot.
• All other items are highlighted green in the screenshot.

Set the Codes

• The goal in this puzzle is to press the buttons on the organ according to the diagrams on the cards.
• The Roman numerals on the cards represent the numbers on the buttons.
• When you see a long line next to the numbers, that button needs to be in the up position.
• When the line next to the number is a short one, the button needs to be in the down position.
• Each time you finish entering a set of numbers, the current card will disappear and a new one will appear.
• Make sure that when you enter the numbers you are matching the correct color. The cards do not appear in the same order as the rows of numbers.

Red Organ Card Solution

Blue Organ Card Solution

CHAPTER TWO

A Mumbling Sound

• The five bouquets are highlighted in red in the screenshot.
• All the other items in the scene are highlighted in green, or yellow, in the screenshot.

The Flower Market

• All items on the list are highlighted in either red or green.

Flowers Puzzle

• Your goal in this puzzle is to place the right amount of flowers in each bucket.
• You have to pick the flowers whose numbers add up to the value stated on each bucket.
• Each time you add a flower to a bucket, the total amount will be shown on the sign attached to the bucket.
• If you make a mistake and you want to change the flower combination, simply click on the flower you want to take out. The amount of the flower you took out will be deducted from your total.
• Here is the solution for this puzzle:
• First Bucket: $1.22 +$1.67 + $1.99 = $4.88
• Second Bucket: $2.80 + $2.80 +$ 0.50 = $6.10
• Third Bucket: $1.22 + $1.99 + $0.50+ $0.50 =$4.21
• Fourth Bucket: $2.80 +$1.99 + $1.67 + $167 + $1.22 = $9.35

The Rijksmuseum

• The two paintings are highlighted in green in the screenshot.
• The two rings are highlighted in yellow.
• The rest of the items on the list are highlighted in red in the screenshot.

Replace the Paintings

• Your goal in this puzzle is to place the paintings back on the wall in their correct spots.
• Grab the paintings on the left and place them on the wall in the spots that have the same outline as the painting you are trying to place.
• To remove a painting that is in the wrong place, simply drag it to another spot.
• The paintings will not lock into a space on the wall even if they are placed correctly.
• Once all the paintings have been placed correctly, all the paintings will be highlighted on the back wall.

Place the Amulets

• In this puzzle your goal is to place the amulets on the map in their correct spots.
• In order for the amulets to be lined up correctly you have to line them up with the matching spots on the map.
• Once the amulets are in the right spots, they will have a faint glow around them and will lock into place.
• Place all five amulets to beat this puzzle. Please look at the screenshot for the solution to this puzzle.

Inside the Maritime Museum

• Please look at the screenshot for the location of all the items in this scene.

The Batavia

• The 10 code snips are circled in red in the screenshot.
• The rest of the items are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.

Crack the Code Puzzle

• This puzzle is divided into two parts. In the first part you have to assemble the pieces of paper. In the second part you have to decipher the code that appears above the puzzle.
• Drag the scattered paper pieces onto the board.
• When the right paper is in place, it will automatically lock into place.
• Once the puzzle is complete, a series of numbers will show up on top of the page. Your goal at this point is to solve the mathematical equations.
• If you look at the paper you assembled, there are three sets of numbers on it: 18, 56, and 5. If you look above the paper, there are three sets of equations to solve.
• The first equation has to add up to the first number on the page. The middle equation has to add up the middle number on the page. The last equation has to add up to the last number on the page.
• The solution is as follows:4 / 2 x 9 = 18 8 x 7 = 56 4+ 6/ 2 = 5

Cargo Hold

• The two rings are highlighted in green in the screenshot.
• All other items are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.

CHAPTER THREE

Hotel Reception

• The 12 keys are circled in red in the screenshot.
• The four hexagons are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.
• All other items will be highlighted in green in the screenshot.

The Key Cabinet Puzzle

• The goal in this puzzle is to place the keys in the right spots.
• You can see a faint silhouette of each key inside each spot in the cabinet. Look for the keys that match the shape and size of the outlines in each spot.
• When certain keys are placed in the right spots, you will see a light shine on all the keys that are correct.
• Pay attention to the keys that are being highlighted. Even though some keys may look like they are in the right place, they will not be right unless you see a light shining on them.
• Once all the keys are in place, click on the large single key that appears on the screen.
• Please keep in mind that the solution for this puzzle is random, so the solutions on the screenshots may not work for everyone. There are two separate solutions in the screenshots.

Your Hotel Room

• The four hexagons are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.
• The three rings are circled in green in the screenshot.
• All other items are highlighted in red in the screenshot.

Repair the Box Puzzle

• This is a simple jigsaw puzzle. Your goal is to fit the hexagon pieces on top of the box.
• Drag a hexagon onto the lid of the box.
• Left-click on a hexagon when it is over a viable spot on top of the lid, and it will rotate the hexagon.
• The hexagon will fall into a space once it is placed over the right spot.
• Once all the pieces are in the right places, grab the paper that comes out of the box.

The Diamond Store

• The four rings are circled in blue in the screenshot.
• The rest of the items are highlighted in red in the screenshot.

Ring Puzzle

• Your goal in this puzzle is to arrange all the rings in the box into the correct spots.
• Drag a ring to the spot you want it to go into and let go of the mouse once it is in the right spot.
• To remove a ring from a spot, simply drag it another spot.
• You have to pay attention to the numbers, symbols, and colors that are shown on the side and bottom of the box.
• In the spaces where you see the “I,” you have to place the rings that only have one stone in a particular shape. If you see a “II,” then you have to place rings there that have two stones.
• In the spaces in which you see a circle, a diamond, or a triangle, you have to place rings in those columns that have the matching shape.
• In the spaces where you see the blue outline, you can only place blue rings in those rows or columns.
• Please look at the screenshot for the solution to this puzzle.

Inside the Tower

• The eight candles are circled in red in the screenshot. The candles will be in different shapes and sizes.
• Some of the circled candles will have more than one candle in the screenshot, but they will count as one item on the list.
• All other items on the list are highlighted in green.

Place the Candles

• Your goal in this puzzle is to place the candles in the right places around the tower.
• To place the candles, simply drag them to the right spot and let go of the mouse when it is in the right location.
• If a candle is placed in the wrong spot, it will go back to the inventory box. If this happens, grab the candle and place it in a different spot.
• The skinny candles will have to be placed individually on the candle holders.
• Candles will light up once a group of them, or individual candles, are placed correctly.
• Once all the candles have been placed, click on the secret passage that appears on the right side of the scene.

Reconstructing the Maze

• There are two steps that have to be followed in order to complete this puzzle. First, you have to put the maze in place, and secondly you have to navigate through the right doors in the maze.
• Click on each section of the maze and you will see two arrows appear.
• Click and drag each maze piece until it locks into place. You can drag the maze pieces around by clicking on the up or down arrows.
• Hold the mouse down when you want to move the maze pieces faster. To slow down the movement of the maze, just click slowly.
• You will know the maze piece is in the right place when you see a light shine over that area. Once that happens, that piece of the maze will no longer be movable.
• Since most of the maze pieces look alike, you will have to move the pieces around slowly until they lock into place.
• Please see the screenshot so you can get a better look at the positions of the maze pieces.
• Once the maze has been assembled correctly, the door on the lower left side will open and the footprints will enter the first part of the maze. The arrows next to the footprints show you the directions you can move in.

Navigating the Maze

• This section will explain how to navigate the maze.
• To move the footprints around the maze, click on one of the arrows next to them. The footprints will move in the direction you clicked on.
• The footprints will stop as soon as they reach an intersection.
• When the footprints reach an intersection, click on a door to see if you have access to it. If you do, the door will open and you can enter through it.
• If you do not have access at an intersection, the door will not open. You will see a tiny lock appear at the door. When this happens, choose a different path and try to go through another door.
• Once you reach the other end of the maze, click on the door at the end of the path to exit the maze.

CHAPTER FOUR

Underground Library

• The 14 letters are highlighted in green in the screenshot.
• Some of the letters can be very hard to find, keep clicking in the area shown in the screenshot until you find it.
• All other items are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.

Solve the Word Jumble

• Your goal in this puzzle is to form the correct words by placing the letters on the board.
• Drag a letter to the spot on the board that you want it to be in.
• Let go of your mouse when the letter is in the right place.
• To remove a letter from the board, simply drag it to another spot.
• The solution is: “FLYING DUTCHMAN.”
• Once all the letters are in the right place, the board will move aside and a hole will open up in the ground.
• Click on the hole in the ground to exit the scene.

Underground Canal

• The boat parts will all be highlighted in yellow. This includes two oarlocks, two boat oars, a bench rest, a bow, a bench, the ribs, and a rope.

Assemble the Boat

• Your goal in this puzzle is to put the pieces of the boat in the right places.
• Place the ribs on the back right side of the boat.
• The bench rest goes in the back of the boat.
• The bow goes in the front part of the boat.
• Place the ropes on the bow.
• Place the two oarlocks on the side of the boat.
• Place the two oars on top of the oarlocks.
• The bench goes closer to the back of the boat.

Solve the Puzzle

• To solve this jigsaw puzzle, click on two squares to swap their positions.
• Once a piece is in the right place, it will lock into position.
• Please look at the screenshot for the solution.

A Shipwreck

• The three coins are highlighted in yellow.
• The three crosses are circled in red in the screenshot.
• All other items are highlighted in green in the screenshot.

Open the Latch

• This is your basic slider puzzle; in this case you have to move the latches around until the four knives in each corner are no longer showing.
• Drag the latches around the board. The latches can only be dragged from left to right, or up and down.
• Please look at the two screenshots and follow the order shown. As you drag the latches around in order, make sure that you are dragging them in the direction of the arrow.
• Make sure when you follow the direction of the arrows that you drag the latch as far as it can go.

A Treasure

• Please look at the screenshot for the location of all the items on the list.

Assemble the Knife

• Your goal in this puzzle is to assemble the knife in a particular order, or the pieces will not fit correctly.
• Assemble the items in the following order:
• Place the tip of the knife at the end of the blade.
• Place the emeralds on the holes of the blades of the knife.
• Place the pommel at the end of the knife, and the handle will turn around.
• Place the crosses on the handles. The latches for the guards become extended at this point.
• Place the guards at each end of the knife.
• Place a coin on each side of the guards.
• Place a coin on the blade of the knife.
• Place the brooch in the space between the handle and the blade.
