I've played a few of the Clearit games, many years ago, when they first came out...they were a nice way to wile away the time. I just now tried this new one and was happy that the dev has improved things to make it more challenging...as well as addictive!

I have bought all the ClearIt games, and this one is the best so far. The developers have improved it and it is very challenging.
I can't wait for the next one to come out.

I recommend this game!

I know we probably don't NEED a 12th ClearIt, but I really enjoy these games. Relaxing and I don't get carpal tunnel from trying to shoot fast or strain my eyes on another HO game.

Colors are vibrant and there are several new "helpers" in the game. It was worth a game credit for me!

I recommend this game!

Here's why: I love strategy without having to travel back and forth using a jump map or squint my eyes till my headaches looking for tiny hidden objects. I love hidden object games, but I enjoy I page strategy more.

What I wish the developers would do, is give us our choice of colors and shapes. Always add more level.
Honestly it would truly make the game so fresh

I recommend this game!

When I played 11 I was impressed with the improvements they made to the game as it was getting a bit stale.

Now along comes 12 and although it is a very good game and a challenge it is too alike 11 for me to give this 5 stars.

I read that some had glitches with 11 but I can say that I was lucky there as it ran very smoothly and so does this one.

Don't let me put you off this is still a very good game but I will not be purchasing as I already have most of this game in the previous one.

Just my opinion but try the demo and see what you think. After all we are all different. Show less

OK, it's the same Clear It formula, but Clear It 12 feels more optimized. Previous installments felt laggy on my PC, but not this one.

When I first started playing this series it worked really well but 4-5 games later it started becoming bogged down with orbs that moved in slow-motion. A few games later that issue was resolved and now games 11 and 12 have returned to the slow-motion scenario. I have a wicked fast computer with plenty of RAM, etc. and it's designed for gaming so I know that isn't the issue, and of course, I deleted and reinstalled the game with no improvements. I recently went back and tried Clear It 10 and it worked fine so something in the developer's program has changed since then that is making it incompatible with my computer!

Everything else works at normal speeds, the game loads quickly, the levels page appears almost instantaneously, the profile page, settings, even pulling up the chosen level instantly takes me to the level but the second I click an orb, things go haywire. Orbs have even rolled back towards the outer edge after hitting their target, before finally rolling in the correct direction. Other times I've clicked an orb directed towards a bonus orb and I hear the lightning noise and see flashing lights on the screen as if the 2 orbs collided, but the orb hasn't even left the chute! The orb can be seen finally leaving its comfy little nest after the lightning dissipates! It just weird, and I have to say I've never had any issues playing Quadrium games!

If you are a seasoned Clear It player you will probably want to bypass the first few normal levels and go straight to the multi-colored orb levels. There are 80 levels with 2 colored orbs, 80 levels with 3 colored orbs, 40 levels of 4 colored orbs, 15 levels of 5 colored orbs, 10 levels of 6 colored orbs, and a measly 5 levels of the super challenging 7 colored orbs.
The gameplay is simple, there is an unlimited number of colored Orbs located on all four sides of the board and the goal is to launch an Orb at an identical colored Orb(s) on the field until all Orbs have been removed. The Orb will travel in a straight column or row until it hits another Orb, Power-up, or Obstacle. If the selected Orb hits one or more Orbs of the same color, they are removed, and you may need to use a little bit of strategy to set up your moves, keep in mind that there is no timer.

Each level has Power-ups that appear briefly on the field or within the Orbs themselves, before disappearing and reappearing as a different Power-up in a completely different area. The Power-ups are activated when hit by an Orb or included in a Match.

*Rotation power-up: reshuffles and replaces the Orbs.
*Multi-colored Bombs: eliminates adjacent Orbs
*Spears power-up: replaces all border Orbs with Tridents *Fireball power-up: explodes and eliminates nearby Orbs.
*Lightning/voltage power-up: eliminates nearby Orbs in a cross formation.
*Star power-up: shoots stars to eliminate adjacent Orbs.
*Dynamite power-up: explodes to eliminate adjacent orbs.
*Numbers: choose 1 or 5 Orbs to eliminate via crosshairs.
*Gear power-up: eliminates all orbs of the same color.

Each level progresses in difficulty, as more orb colors are added, fewer orbs in the desired color along the edges are offered. Sometimes you just have to sacrifice and add a few orbs to the equation, to be able to get to the desired colored orb, but because there's no time or moves limit it doesn't count against you.

The rows and columns finally highlight after 11 games without this feature, but it doesn't do me any good if it will take me 5 hours to complete each level moving in slow motion?? The colors are brighter but nothing has really changed. If you want a REAL challenge, you'll have to opt for the multiple orbs levels but they don't offer as many levels.
