Wow! I am really quite surprised by the negative reviews...I love the Travel Mosaics games and this one does not disappoint! I especially love the graphics..the music is catchy and I am not a perfectionist so I am not so critical of the game...love it!!!! Alot of work goes into the making of these games and I applaud the Developers!!! Kudos, JetDog Studios!!! Keep them coming!!!!!

I love all the games of Travel Mosaics series, but this one is something special for me. It helped me to get into the Christmas spirit! How does it happen? You just play the game, look at the nice winter pictures, listen to the joyful melody of “Jingle Bells”, read about holiday traditions in different countries, and suddenly find yourself in a festive mood.

Now about the game. As always, there are 3 difficulty modes (easy, normal and hard), 20 chapters including 7 nonograms where you have to draw a picture using the numbers and your brain, + 1 bonus puzzle (they are different), “hammer”, “lightning” and “bomb” power-ups, and quiz questions if you need an additional “heart”. What new is there? The Walkers look funny in their costumes under the snow. Every chapter is dedicated to a new town (not sightseeing places of one town like before), has its Christmas picture and description. You can choose the form of squares and empty spots on the field; it makes the game more interesting and unique. It's quite fine with me to use default forms and sizes of these squares during playing, but something new is always good.

Gameplay is quite easy and understandable (especially if you already played this series). About 20 first levels are simple. You can play them really fast. But I think that’s fine for the new players so that they can understand what they do, what for, and how. For me it was just a warm-up. Btw, I like that all the pictures we open are thematic, i.e. there are Christmas trees and socks, presents, elves, snowman etc. The last levels are much harder. I wouldn’t say they are super hard but you need to rack your brain here and sometimes replay if you want to get all 3 stars (it’s possible if you don’t use the hints and don’t make any mistake). That’s exactly what I expected: relaxed game and challenges, all in one.

I’m sure this game will be perfect for children and adults wishing to have fun, learn something new and get into festive mood! Show less

I liked the Christmas-themed puzzles but I did find them to be fairly easy, which isn't a bad thing, if you're like me, you like these games because they are relaxing. I don't really care about the storyline which is a good thing because there isn't really a story to follow, again, not necessarily a bad thing.

I don't really care about the storyline which is a good thing because there isn't really a story to follow, again, not necessarily a bad thing.

Besides the 5 options for crossing off cells, there are 5 Tile options to choose from, my favorite Bubble look, a Square with rounded corners, a Princess Cut Diamond shape, and a multi-faceted tile and a lunar-style. You can play in an Easy mode which crosses off cells for you and applies the appropriate colors, a Normal mode where you have to cross off cells that aren't available, or Difficult mode which only crosses off squares when the entire row and column has been completed.

As you fill in tiles, you will earn coins, lives or Power-up recharges. Power-ups can be upgraded twice from the initial base, and you can also buy various Presents in the Shop.

There are Power-ups such as a Hammer, Sun, Lightning and even a Bomb, which start out with very little area coverage and increases with each upgrade. There are 7 Achievement Trophies to earn as well.

Each of the Locations has 6 main levels, 1 bonus level, and 1 additional puzzle (jigsaw variations) You must earn at least 2 Stars on each main level to open the bonus level, and you must earn a minimum of 2 stars on the Bonus Level to open the additional puzzle. You also have to earn at least 1 Star in each of the main levels to unlock the next location.

Each level starts with 2 Hearts or lives, and as you fill in cells correctly you will earn more Heart Lives. There is a Book icon on the bottom left that gives a brief description of each location, which will come in handy if you make too many mistakes because you will be asked some questions about the locations as a chance to earn another chance to play.

I love the Travel Mosaics series. Especially having the puzzles at the end of every level. I really enjoyed the puzzle where the squares 'drop', very challenging but fun! The reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because of the 'fireworks' levels. It's very distracting and I almost felt like passing those levels altogether.

I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed the mosaics in Travel Mosaics 6: Christmas Around the World. I found the puzzles had a level of difficulty that got more challenging as I progressed through the levels. I enjoyed collecting the ornaments, and getting the achievement awards. It also has plenty of levels to get your teeth into. Would recommend for anyone who enjoys mosaic games.

I have tried travel mosaics before and did not like but thought I would give it another chance. Nope still not even close to the level of other mosaic games that are similar.

Third and last objection, these become quite difficult fairly quickly but you have to get 2 or more stars are every mosaic to advance.
Unlike my two favorite mosaic games there is nothing that is created. Just the same thing over and over. Definitely a no buy for me. Show less

nanograms are my fave game,, and most levels are great fun, BUT , stop with the constant fake fireworks in some levels, makes the whole game darn near unplayable.

The mosaics are easy. The pictures are not recognizable and the Christmases are not accurate. Sydney is in the middle of summer at Christmas. There has never been snow recorded in Sydney, yet every mosaic featured snowmen and snow. For us in Australia, the Christmas spirit is about warm weather. Please research. Disappointed.

I realize that BF developers must have a lot of pressure to crank out games. However, this is just the last straw for me. Very boring! Too easy. A lot of annoying bits. I play without sound,so i have no idea of that. Come on. Give us a game which is a challenge. I don't need a storyline as long as the images are good! Don't spend your money on this game or the series.
