When it comes to match 3 games I often prefer quick moving ones. But I do also like a well designed moves counted game, which this is. Its got great graphics with bright colors, good sound, a variety of types (clear tiles, character path, dig gold, etc) and a sense of humor. That's always a plus when I look for a game. I really enjoy how the power ups are sea creatures that seem happy to help by zooming across a row (seahorses) or blowing themselves up (puffer fish) or whatever.
And I do like that the game explodes all the bonus items at the end. I play move limited games to relax so I just sit back and enjoy the show at the end of the level. :)
The first Trito had 275 levels. I'm not sure if this one has that many but I'm hoping so. One of the things I really liked on the first game was that the devs kept introducing new features all the way through the game. Not sure they could keep that up but I've already seen one new thing and have only played part of the demo.
When a game seems to be just like a previous one I often skip it, but I enjoyed the first so much that I am buying this one too. (although I waited for a sale)
Try it, you might find you like it. :)
Tips:
*if you use up all the hammers or switch fish (items on the left) you get a plus icon that lets you go into a shop and buy more with the gems you have earned
*if you want to start over the player data is located under: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Bluembo Show less
I recommend this game!

Not sure of the negative reviews unless they didn't play Trito Adventures 1. If you liked Trito Adventures 1, you'll like this one. Some new things but basically the same. I'm not a story or sound person, that's why the less than 5 stars, I turn down sound and don't read story lines. I just play. Show less

The limited movesis not really a problem, so far I am through to Level 430 on Tritos III on the PC and have built up lots of not too difficult.. I love the way if you do run out of moves then you can retry each level without a penalty..
I try and limit myself to no more than 20 levels a day - it's so addictive I get sidetracked from all of my other jobs..!

This is not a kids game, it might look that way, but isn't. It's alot of fun & very addicting. Yes, the levels get harder as you go. I honestly can't stop playing these games. You get a bang for your buck too. There are "several" levels. You can't go through these games in a few days. Don't know about the negative reviews either, these are great M3 games. Give them a try.

My biggest complaint is the 'award' for level of shells which you can only get by leaving a lot of moves left at the end of a level -- its silly in that of the 9 possible shells to pick you can have some shells with 3 gems and some with 30 gems. And there is literally no logic as far as I can tell on how that is all set up. Personally I would have removed that whole piece of the game.
There is a couple of places where I went huh, like on the episode numbering but I pretty much ignored it.
I am so far on level 162 -- given what I can see there is at least another 50 levels. For a free game (I used one of my game credits) -- 200 levels or so is not bad. Show less

I was really hoping that bluembo would add a Limited Time Mode to Trito's Adventure because I'm really not a fan of Limited Moves Match 3 games. I'm also not a fan of Match 3 games that have a ton of available Large matches which consequentially gives you a ton of Bonuses on the board resulting in a game that practically plays itself. I also believe that they need to have a better Tutorial because most of the key features have no explanation.
Tito's Adventure is a Limited Moves game with a "builder" aspect, you play levels to earn enough Lightning power to recharge Tito's Trident so that he can restore all of the houses destroyed by a tornado, as well as complete some side quests asked of little junior. This is the same exact storyline as the first episode, so I'm guessing the evil Stepmother Sorceress has Poseidon cursed to live a never-ending loop? The goal of each level is usually to clear all Sand tiles, but some levels may require you to remove a specified number of specified tiles, drop items to the bottom of the board, collect starfish, or clear a path to allow Octi to reach the treasure chest.
There are the usual Obstacles of Wooden Crates, Frozen Tiles, Stone Tiles, etc. that block the Sand Tiles. Large Matches will earn you Bonuses on the board such as Twin Seahorses that take out an entire row or column (depending on which way you activate them up and down or left and right) Explosive Crabs that explode to take out a small group of tiles, Pufferfish that blows up an even bigger area when he huffs and puffs, and Anglerfish that take out several horizontal and vertical rows. Trito's Trident will remove all of the same tiles as matched with once the Trident icon has been filled by creating and using Bonuses on the board. There are bonuses that can be used at your discretion such as a Hammer to take out a specific tile or Fishy Twins that swap any 2 tiles. Eventually, you will unlock Bonuses that can be used at the start of each level. Once you complete the Match 3 level, you get to choose up to 3 Clam Shells (depending on how well you did on the level) to earn various powerups, coins, lightning or gems) You can use the Lightning Bolts to complete side quests to help restore the houses destroyed by the tornado.
After completing the level you have to wait forever for the computer to play through any unused moves remaining as well as the Bonuses that those moves create. If I had the option to just click the board to end all that and quickly move on, it would be a nice touch. I also didn't like that you had to pay 75 precious gems to add +5 moves to the board (this # increases if you need to add 5 additional moves) which seems a bit steep, and that you can't replay levels whenever you want. Finally, I don't like that as you progress, it seems that the only way you can beat levels is to create and combine bonuses that wipe out the entire board. I actually like to try to beat levels without using power-ups and bonuses if possible.

I am probably being very generous with 3 stars. But I don't 'dislike' this game. Another adaption from the ipad Free to Play market? I actually prefer this to its cousins (artic story, or penguin rescue..etc..) A lot of effort has been put in to the cutscenes and side quests in this one.

It has really (and I mean REALLY) cute graphics, and the storyline would fool you into thinking this is a very young childs game. Then you get to the gameplay! On most levels you are actually doomed to fail often unless you spend your earned gems, or using your boosters a lot. In the FTP market I guess you can buy more with real money, (and I think the game is designed for this) However as BFG customers are never asked to pay up ...we just have to repeat a lot. (But its hard to get too frustrated when the screen so sparkly and friendly)
It took me a while to realise eventually the game will let you move on when it realises you are broke lol. The game itself is quite pleasant to play, almost addictive. Big tiles, bright colours, and big booster play and explosions.
I think I will play this late at night when I just am doing 'mindless' things, as there is not any real 'strategy challenge' other than charging your boosters by making specific matches of certain tiles so you can blow up your board. Luckily too if you really cant stand the abundant cut scenes and childlike dialogue..you can skip.
I did not see an option for untimed, nor another profile.
I am getting a little worried if this is the 'future' of M3's. They are becoming clones of each others style and this is yet another. But I cant say it isn't CUTE.
I cant commit to recommend this game, or not. It has a place, but I would only get it with a voucher or a good sale. Try the demo.

Love this and the first Trito's but again no reset on this game. I asked about this on the first game and was given directions to clear the saved data. However it didn't work. Please tell the developer to fix this!. This game is very challenging. I play with no sound and don't pay attention to the story line.
