This is a straightforward old fashioned hidden object game smattered with mini games such as a jigsaw, mahjong, match the animals, and a chain type match to remove tiles game. In each scene there is a 'lazy turtle' to collect, and you will play the scene in standard word mode twice..then silhouette twice, then jumbled letters twice..and round in a loop as much as you like.
There is a good 'magnifier' to help, and the objects don't move around so you get quite good at it. There is a relax mode but also timed of 3 or 10 mins for those who like a challenge. Its a straight standard HOG, but no glitches and something to do when relaxing. I do wish I had a choice on speeding up the hint button..but its ok.
It is the only travel I too will do for a while as my city and state go back into lockdown..so enjoy your virtual journey and I will meet you under the clocks as we say! Show less

I will always reward a developer for improvements and this little turtle has definitely made some improvements over the last game. The graphics are much clearer and they have finally added a 3-Minute Challenge Mode to go along with the 10-Minute Timed Mode and of course the Relaxed, No-Timer Mode! (I found myself scrambling a few times!) It's like I always say, they can't possibly read minds, they won't know unless we politely say something...and Indies never let me down დ
So now you can play in THREE modes, a Relaxed Untimed Mode, 10-Minute Timed Mode, or a 3-Minute Timed Mode to complete each level. You will earn a single star on each HO location and the next location requires 2-3 stars to unlock it so you will need to replay the previous scenes in order to earn enough stars to progress.
Each scene has a Lazy Turtle to discover (once you find him he won't appear when you replay the same scene) and there are trivia facts before visiting each location. The Lazy Turtle was added a few games ago but I'm still going to push for the actual Lazy Turtle Logo to be used versus the plastic turtle because the Lazy Turtle Logo is one of the coolest logos I've seen. He's an adorable "lazy" turtle wearing a sombrero and leaning up against a palm tree. If they used a semi-transparent image of this logo and hid it in each scene it would be so much better and make much more sense! (free advertising too, never hurts) There are no misclick penalties and you can replay the scenes as often as you'd like, but each time the style changes between Listed Items, Silhouetted Shapes, and my favorite, Scrambled Letter finds. (which ain't as easy as you'd think folks)
My biggest complaint and one of the reason's I'm still leaning on a 4-star and not a 5-star rating is that the items remain in the same position every time you repeat the scene, and most of the time you are tasked with finding the same items over and over. Anyone can master a Hidden Object Scene if they stare at the same pattern 10 times in a row, right?

This game is very enjoyable if you have patience and good eyesight! A lot of the hidden objects are VERY hard to find - blend in the scenery and a lot of them very small but that makes the game challenging which I like. (Tasmania was a devil pun intended) and am sure as I progress will find some even worse. I always play casual mode when I first purchase a game to get a feel of it before I progress to a harder level and am so glad I did.
Object is to accumulate stars in order to unlock levels and hint button fills fast. Some of the scenes are very pretty and information is given on the history of the scenes.
Good game to kick back, enjoy a challenge and learn about Australia. Show less

The further you get into the game in the same scene and for me it gets easier not harder as the objects never change or move so you just automatically go there. The hint button seems to take forever to fill up' Same style to the other games but of course you have different scenery and info. Its a good game for something to while away an afternoon and you can play relaxed or timer levels .At the moment relaxed will suit me but I may up the ante. Try the demo and see what you think Show less

Have played 50+ HO games and as yet have not found any advertised mini games!. Unless someone else can tell me. The variety makes a difference as nothing but HO gets monotonous

There's a story? Well then it is hidden from me.
There are mini games? Again not so far in my game.
Have never been so bored with a game like now. Playing over and over hidden objects only became very tedious. Then the scenes are repeated - *shakes head* "no" not for me! I am so glad I used a free game code for this otherwise I would have been very irked.

I could say a lot more but I won't as hate having to pull a-part someone's creativity.
I do not recommend this game but do the others that have been released recently and will return to them once I have removed this *yawns* boring game. Show less

I cannot believe that several people liked this game. I thought it was unbelievably boring. You play the same scenes over and over and the items stay in the same spaces. I thought from the screenshots that there was variety between them, but the puzzles had to be unlocked too and weren't very challenging. I played for 5 minutes and deleted the game.
I don't recommend this game.
