It's your typical match 3 or more. If you match several, you get a power bomb that blows up everything nearby. I don't really care for the fact that the cursor can't be changed, but it's not that annoying. Neither is the music. The game plays smoothly and it's challenging even in limitless move mode. I love fun Halloween games like this. Not creepy ones. It was a buy for me.

The first few levels of this game were a bit off putting for me but then it steps up another gear and gets very interesting, for me anyway.
There is a lot going on here and its a bit different from the norm which I like different.

The first game in this series I had a real problem with the graphics as some of the tiles got lost in the black background but no such problem here.

The tiles are bigger and brighter.
Great Halloween theme which has come out at the right time not like some themed games that seem to pop up at any time of the year.

Others can explain the details much better than me. Its just a really good Halloween themed game. Enjoy.

Try the demo because we are all different so what suits some will not suit others. Show less

A Perfect October Match-3 (or More)

The game is perfectly balanced between easy and challenging so it's never dull and the wins outnumber the losses where it's never disgruntling. That is providing you choose a difficulty setting beyond relaxed comfy zenful impossible to lose casual mode. I personally like the number of moves difficulty setting for at least some sort of challenge and can minimize anytime on my pc and open it back ...Show more

I personally like the number of moves difficulty setting for at least some sort of challenge and can minimize anytime on my pc and open it back up, already running without any loss of place or time. If you've played other match-3's you might recognize the build. I'm pretty sure I've played other variations by Ironcode Gaming as this does seem familiar. That's fine with me as I'm a fan, and I'm not just blowing wind (get it, blowing wind, fan, never mind, I'm such a dork).

Another thing I want to give props to Ironcode is the music. The ambience of the game is enhanced wonderfully by the music scores that are simple yet well written and never irritating no matter how many times I hear them.

The story, well, I suppose there has to be a story. But so what, plus children might be intrigued. If's definitely family friendly.

May I just say that I absolutely love this game, would give it 10 stars if I could.

Casual play, lots of levels, it's a little different from many others, give it a try and see for yourself.

a typical M3. it has different playing modes. i played on timeless. not many power-ups but they seem to charge pretty fast. after awhile it will show hints where you can play if you don't move. you are rebuilding a place in the forest. it is set up for another one.

I loved this game. I did the timeless mode, and it fit me just right. It has some different aspects to three match I haven't seen before. Some of the non play graphics were not that good, but the game graphics were really colorful and different I would recommend this game

The reasons I was going to mark it low was I didnt like not having a cursor option (and still dont like it even though I have got used to it) At first it seemed the timer was over generous, but it soon ramped up on some levels (you can play relax, timed or limited moves) I felt the house graphics were a bit ordinary..and a bit expensive.

Why I upped my rating... There is a lot to this game, it becomes quite intricate and has a lot going on. There are caldrons to collect in order to build the house and must match next to them. Automatic fall of the tiles or explosions do not count in this game..the matches must be made manually.

There are the usual blocks and chains, but there is a feature that if you match next to the featured tile..helps you our by knocking a random piece off for you. Times when you must collect a certain amount of a shown tile to get it from blocking your way. You get a shuffle and a hammer quite early on, and large matches make explosives of varying strengths.

Then the mini-games were a lot of fun, if you are playing in timed..they too are timed. I had no trouble with them, (so far a jigsaw, a memory card game, and a slider)...but I did appreciate that you can toggle your difficulty in this game without losing progress or starting a whole new profile.

So I really warmed to the game as I went. Try the demo, see what you think and keep an open mind. It starts to become intriguing and fun IMHO. Show less

This is a fun Match 3 game with a few puzzles thrown in for variety. The background graphics have a nice 3D look and the music is very pleasant. Rebuilding the house after the Swamp Witch destroyed it is the main objective. It is nice to have options on how to play - timeless, timed, number of moves. It would be nice to know how much gold has been collected without going into the Repair the House ...Show more

After reading the reviews I was prepared to be disappointed with this game, but in fact I love it. My only criticism so far is the scoring - it's absolutely absurd to score more than a million points on one level!! Come on, developers, make the scoring more realistic please. Also, allow us to change the cursor please.

I only played match 3 mode and not the difficult setting. It is a challenging game that I found myself having to replay some levels.
I started out using the finger pad of my laptop and I couldn't get going well on some of the early levels so I switched to the desktop using the mouse with better results
