this is the best series out there for time management. how can anyone who plays this series rate it lower than a 5 star. It is very challenging and may frustrate at times but theres no beating it. if anyone knows of the next one comeing out date please post. i look for the next one to come out every day to the point of being pathetic.

I am not going to pretend this is as groundbreaking and amazing as, say, Royal Envoy was when it first came out. But this game is at least on par with the other Hercules games, which I like.
I am not as impressed with the story line, the creators took some creative chances and in my opinion missed the mark a little bit.

Per some other reviews, I guess if you can't handle blowing up pretend cartoon animals as one minor component of a game, then this game is not for you. Otherwise, if you liked the other games in the series, then this one should be given a try. Show less

I liked it okay. But who is the horrible person who decided that making us click on animals, blowing them up and making them yell was a good idea? And you have to sometimes in order to get the H piece. I never did after the first time, I couldn't take it. It's fine to click on the bushes to find it but not to pop an animal. I used to believe in the review system at BF until this developer started posting their own reviews on their own games. Since when is it okay to allow developers to review their own games? (that same screen name was used to introduce yourself,,, remember?) Look closer, seems to be a pattern of "all Jet Dog" reviewers" as well, hmmm? Put that together with a 12 am Thursday morning completed 7-hour HOPA game and it does make you wonder what goes on behind closed doors? Can you hear me now?

There are several things I didn't like about this game and very few things I liked. I thought the CE Strategy Guide should show me where the Puzzle Piece is located, especially when the puzzle piece is hidden under bushes, sheep, etc. and it should tell show me step by step moves of which resources to gather in which order. A hint feature is a wonderful addition but should be an addition, not THE only form of a strategy guide.

The tasks were the same over and over, they all seemed to involve the same goals, they just added more resources to each level. They had to add the stupid giant speed pills again? What a stupid feature, have you no imagination, no creativity? Lastly, a Note to the developers: it's not really cool to automatically enter my full name in the profile section, it seems rather creepy and totally invasive.

If you do decide to click on the so-called Strategy Guide, annoyance is the only word to describe the barrage of blue arrows that take over the screen to keep redirecting my line of sight. I can see if it were a gentle nudge to say "hey, don't forget to grab this cheese wheel that's the size of Herc's giant speedball just in case you may have missed it" but I'm talking about enough flashing arrows to make you want to grab a few speed pills and run as fast as you can towards the exit button....which is exactly what I did!

It's a shame when developers who used to be good suddenly get lazy and throw out garbage just to make a buck. THEN sit on game sites and give "no's" to people that don't love their games.
This is a mess and the fact that you blow up animals is a definite one star rating for me. The whole game is bizarre and reminds me of Frankenstein...lots of different parts all sewn together and none of them ...Show more

This is a mess and the fact that you blow up animals is a definite one star rating for me. Stupid blue arrows, big pills (which I think the Dev was taking when he made this), odd characters that don't fit and have no meaning and the same, drab old gameplay with every level the same as the last.
Don't waste time, money or credits on this one. Show less

When I reviewed the Collector’s Edition I said I had mixed feelings on this version of Hercules but now playing the SE version I just find the whole thing annoying. Not a fan of the pills and certainly don’t get the reasoning behind having three in a row (all the same) that you have to click on to move forward in the level rather than clicking on them when you need them. Seems like laziness on the part of the developers, rather than put any thought into obstacles let’s just throw pills out there. Not crazy about the little girl and her paintings. Sorry, I just don’t get it or find it as cutezee as they must have meant it to be. At level number 10 I have all gold and then this level seems impossible which brings me to the uselessness of the strategy guide. Again laziness on the developer’s part. Rather than step it out so you can read it and work out a strategy you want with the guide as a helper they, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that they need no help from you and instead use annoying blue arrows pointing to what you should do next. By the way, blinking blue arrows just in case you miss what they are pointing at. Try it and decide for yourself but I mourn for the old fun Hercules before the developers felt the need to give us the “new and improved versions”. Final thought “Please get rid of the Pills”!! They are irritating.. Show less

I only play Time Management games, I love them.

I absolutely hate this game. I'm playing it on experienced but not hard, whatever that is called.

All you do in the game is wait. And wait, and wait.

So, if your idea of fun is staring at the screen and waiting, buy this game, it won't disappoint.

Back to my Royal Envoys which I play over and over.

I don't recommend this game.

I do not think that anyone within reason can call clicking on an item to have a character walk/run over to pick it up & then doing that over and over and over dozens of times, level after level after level can really honestly be called a "game". It's not. It's more like some sort of computer animation exercise.
