Happy Halloween to me and everyone else who has been waiting for a decent Halloween-themed Jigsaw Puzzle. This developer may have had a slow start but he has hit the pond at blazing speed and has raised the bar folks! They have been listening to every suggestion we offer on the forum, good or bad, and this game proves that this developer lives to please and they know how to do it right!

The BEST PART is that you can download your own images, so even if you aren't interested in any of the images, you simply find images online and make your own jigsaws, it's a simple process, the game does the work for you, all you have to do is is find a picture online, right-click it and click "save image as" to save it to your download folder. Then you go to the +add your own images chapter and click the + sign which will automatically open the download folder, click the image, click open, ta-dah! I have been playing a similar game for years and I usually search for animal, nature, or landscape wallpapers on my search engine and then click the "images" tab at the top of the browser (under the search tab where it says images, videos, shopping, etc.) that's where I find the best-suited images for a jigsaw puzzle, but you can also use personal photos, screenshots, and similar images.

There are 5 Chapters, and a secret Mystery Chapter that requires Coins which you'll earn by playing some of the most beautiful HD Halloween and fall-themed puzzles you've ever seen. Each chapter has 36 Customizable images (we'll get to those in a bit), all of which are interesting and visually appealing, you'll literally have a hard time choosing which puzzle to do first!

You can choose from 7 different Puzzle Pieces including Halloween-themed puzzle tabs such as bones, skulls, and werewolf paws, and of course a traditional tab as well as my favorite tabless square tiles! There are several background colors to choose from, and you can Ghost the image or show a picture preview. There is a Hint feature, an auto-solve, border only, shuffle, and zoom feature as well. You can choose to use the left or right mouse to drag the board and you can adjust the brightness and warmth of the screen during the game, which was something you had to exit the puzzle to adjust in the previous games.

This is an automatic purchase for me, and if you are a Jigsaw Puzzle fan, I'm betting it won't take more than 5 minutes to convince you! Show less

This developer brought tears to my eyes and just for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. More on that later.

One thing that always makes me give praise is when a developer listens to what people say and actually put things right and Graphium Studios have done just that.

At first you may think where are all the options but they are there in the game and many of them. You can play from 30 to 1000 pieces and vary the shapes.

You can do many things to create a game the way you want to play it and even add bogus pieces for an even harder game.

The Halloween theme is done so well here with beautiful images but the best thing by far for me is you can add your own images so you have limitless puzzles to do.

I live thousands of KM away from my parents and now I have just done a Jigsaw of my parents which has made me so happy and that is what bought tears to my eyes. In these times of Covid something like this makes all the difference

I am also an avid photographer so now thanks to this game I can not only do the wonderful Halloween puzzles here but also my own creations.

I read the reviews, then gave the game a try. Up until now, Jigsaws Galore has been my favorite jigsaw puzzle game. It had so many options that none other I tried had. I would have to download holiday pictures to have holiday puzzles. It was a great plus because I could work any picture I had in my photos.

I read a review that said Sweet Holiday Jigsaws: Halloween didn't offer any of the options I was used to. I wanted a Halloween game, so downloaded the demo to try. The reviewer was mistaken. If you take the time to check out each of the buttons and click on each thing you see, it also has the features. If she had trouble getting out of the game, it was because you have to continue to hit the X at the right top of your screen instead of "exit" that we are used to. It also does save your puzzles. There are SO many to choose from.

Since I have played Jigsaws Galore for many years, it will take a little time to get used to Sweet Holiday Puzzles. I'm sure I will enjoy it just as much so I purchased it. If you enjoy jigsaw puzzles, try this one out. Take the time to walk through it. Show less

There is also the option of using your own photos or art to create puzzles.

Once you have chosen your puzzle, you can customize your experience with a number of options, such as number of pieces, background, cutouts (very seasonal - think “skulls”) and more.

The tutorial is well written and easy to understand and can be accessed without leaving your puzzle.

If you do leave, your progress is saved automatically and, when you return, you will see a window in the lower left hand corner, showing your last saved level and the percentage completed. Click on this window and you will be taken to your puzzle. If you're like me and have more than one started, you can find your other saved games in the chapters.

I have completed five puzzles so far and am loving this game. Thanks Graphium! Show less

If we gave prizes for responsive developers, Graphium Studio would certainly be high up in the competition. Each of their jigsaw puzzle games so far has included several new features requested by their players, and Sweet Holiday Jigsaws: Halloween Night is no exception. It has a number of the features I've always wanted in jigsaws - in addition to a large selection of puzzle images, you can join pieces anywhere on the board and they snap together with a reassuring thud, you have several options for how to arrange the pieces on the board (around the finished-picture frame or in a nice grid), the background can be modified to improve how well the pieces stand out, you can choose from a variety of connector styles (the triangular form is my favorite), and you can set the number of pieces from 30 to 961. You can also choose to show a ghost image of the puzzle, show the finished photo, or just show edge pieces only. You can move the board and zoom in or zoom out, to give you more room to work the puzzle or to separate pieces out and/or work on sections independently.

In addition to improvements to several of these features (including some holiday-specific connector types), this game also brings at least 3 new features requested by the players of the last game. The best - you can add your own photos! This is great fun as you can expand the set of images and also get the enjoyment of putting together photos that may mean something special to you. In addition, the developers have improved the ability to save away puzzles. If you quit a puzzle without finishing it, the game automatically saves it away & allows you to come back to it at any time. No more having to finish a huge piece-count puzzle in a single sitting, plus you can choose to work some smaller size puzzles in-between until you are ready to attack a large one again (or if you just feel like working with a different palette for a while). You can save away multiple puzzles and the game nicely marks them as incomplete for you on the puzzle selection screens. (And you can abandon a saved puzzle if you find, for example, that you do not enjoy working with some number of pieces or find you just are not having fun with one). A third enhancement for this edition is a significantly improved tutorial that shows you how the various features work - it is simple, concise, well-presented, and readily available when you first use a feature or at any time you may want a refresher.

All in all, a great addition to any puzzle-lover's library and yet another great step forward in responding to user requests! Show less

First I hardly ever write reviews for anything and if I do they are very critical. This puzzle game is perfect in everyway. You can change the size of the pieces and your progress is auto saved. The puzzle pictures are very colorful. I very much enjoy puzzle games and this one hits the spot. I have been searching for a good puzzle game, and I think I have finally found it. I am not really looking for anything difficult, but I can appreciate all the options that this puzzle game has, and the beautiful artwork. I wouldn't say that there is a storyline per say, but a theme. I also like being able to add my own pictures and turning them into puzzles, which I intend to do.

I recommend this game!

It looked like it would be fun so I downloaded it. Problem is, my mouse cursor floats all over the place and I cannot control it. Never had this problem with any other game. Maybe a restart will fix it. Hopefully.

I don't recommend this game.
