I like it as a senior who loved paint by numbers but now whos hands cant hold a brush very good it is great please keep them up all the paint games

I own all previous releases and I wish BFG would catch up to the latest (#24) as there is little point in making criticism to features that have been implemented and/or improved since this release.

I own all previous releases and I wish BFG would catch up to the latest (#24) as there is little point in making criticism to features that have been implemented and/or improved since this release.

The pictures are not intended to look realistic; coloring the segments is intended as a way to relax while having a bit of a challenge. I don't understand why people bother writing a review for a genre they don't like... and negatively impact the overall rating: make criticism on a game genre that you like but that comes short of your expectations.

I, for one, will enjoy every minute I spend coloring/painting these canvases! The mechanics are simple and error-free. Show less

I first played Paint By Numbers 3 then jumped to this version and I instantly *loved* it! The images are interesting; the colours are (typically) varied and bright; and each puzzle can usually be completed in a few minutes (but since there are so many puzzles in the game, it will still occupy you for several hours).

I first played Paint By Numbers 3 then jumped to this version and I instantly *loved* it! The images are interesting; the colours are (typically) varied and bright; and each puzzle can usually be completed in a few minutes (but since there are so many puzzles in the game, it will still occupy you for several hours).
In addition to that, this game also has a "piece counter", so that as you do each colour, it tells you how many pieces have that colour; and how many you have found - at first, I thought this was cool and nerdy, but then I discovered that it is *really* useful. And if you get stuck finding really small pieces, the Hint function is *really* useful and doesn't have that annoying "recharge time" thing that many games have.
Lastly, I *really* loved the instrumental music - I found it to be just as relaxing as the game itself, so if (when!) you purchase this game, don't forget to check it out.
Anyway, have finished this, I'm off to get the next version! Show less

Again, I mean no disrespect to this developer but there's no comparison to the other Art By Numbers game. These images are boring and most of the paintings are just a single small simplistic design in the center of the page. It's a painting game, who doesn't want to paint the entire picture??

What really makes this game unappealing is the fact that the colors are ugly and drab not to mention the fact that there are basically no color variations from area to area they are just separated by huge black lines. The end result is a flat 2D image of basic drawings that one would expect to see in a toddler's coloring book. An artist would use several color variations to give the image depth and these colors neither represent a true-to-life color palette nor an abstract painting with wild and vibrant colors...I'm telling you the colors are dreadful so the game has no curb appeal!

The black lines are way too thick and because of that, some areas are practically non-existent. How many times have you searched for that last area in Paint By Numbers and finally found an area the size of a pencil nib...usually after giving up in frustration and using the hint? Now, how many times has this scenario happened in the "other Art game?? ZERO is the answer!

This may all sound brutal, and I realize there are still a few diehard Paint By Number fans out there but these are all facts and I urge this developer to buddy up with someone who has an artistic flair to at the very least figure out what colors to offer for each image. I get that there is a Freeplay section to allow the player to select their own colors now, but that doesn't do a thing when the images are unappealing and still have huge black lines!

In addition to the usual downside now it wants me to create a UNIQUE name, my initials which I always use are not acceptable. That is totally absurd!! As usual each set of pictures must be completed in order to unlock the next, which is more absurdity. Again the pics are ugly and the colors are not bright and pretty, they are mostly dark and drab. The images are centered and have no backgrounds to add depth or interest, and when finished there is no wow feeling or any bit of satisfaction. The painting is quick and easy for the most part. There is a Free Paint Mode but I doubt that my imagination and my own color choices would make an improvement on anything.

The pics are ugly, juvenile, single objects except for a few but there are never any that fill in the entire area. At least that is how it has been with all the previous games. Knowing that, I have no desire to rush through set 1 only to find more of the same not-fun stuff. It is important to know up front what we are getting. I can't plunk down my $$ on something that I can't see. Who wants to shop blindfolded and find the purchase a wrong choice, which can't be returned? I sure don't!

Paint By Numbers is fine if you are crazy about painting this art style with the heavy black lines. The process is easy and relaxing and can be enjoyed by children and adults. Great for kids because the images are simple and most are pretty large with little detail. The color numbers are easy to see, filling in the areas is quick since you don't have to click each same-color area individually. There are minimal features that make the game even easier and the hint instantly recharges. The Free Paint Mode adds to the length of the game, but each level has to be finished, just like in the main game, in order to reach the next. In spite of my dislikes I'm pretty sure lots of you will have a good time with Paint By Numbers. Show less

Don't write reviews much anymore and usually only when I find a game to be a huge WOW for me.

This wasn't it. This is the first time I've disliked something so much I had to post my review.

Single dimensional painting. Not fun or engaging at all.

Prefer Art by Numbers.

'Nuf said.

They are far superior to yours.
You should strive to compete with the best and they are.

They are far superior to yours.
You should strive to compete with the best and they are.
If you truly read these reviews, please take game users seriously and do a complete 180 on this paint by art game. The other has superior pictures, superior colors, then also allows the user to completely erase the entire thing and choose their OWN color scheme.
If you make some significant changes in the future, I will be more than happy to purchase your products. Until then? No. Show less
