I trialed this one not expecting to like it, but I played the entire demo and was really disappointed when it suddenly ended, so I've bought it with a GCC.

It may appear childish at first sight, but even on the easiest play level I had to use the hint button a few times.

If you, like me enjoy puzzles this is a wonderful game.
I agree it starts off very boring and slow but after about 20 minutes or so it is a puzzle geeks dream.

I have bought this and am now finding it extremely challenging, certainly not for children as some reviews would have you believe.

This is also different which I like and way better than recent different games we have been getting on here.

Apart from the hint button there are no clues, no sparkles to help you on the way. There are 3 modes which really only give you the hint button quicker and skip time quicker but what I like about it is you can change modes even in the middle of a level.
I am very confused re whats on offer for a CE and at the moment I just can't find any extras but I so enjoyed playing this game and being in Lockdown I wanted to continue with it.

If you like escape type games you will love this and please try the demo and see it through to the end.

You can skip the mass of dialogue which in the demo I encourage you to do as you need to see what this game really offers. The dialogue is not needed, well not as much as we are getting, thank heavens for the skip button,
I know for one, I am going to enjoy it. Show less

Thank you very much Brave Giant (and how happy I am that it's not another Domini game). I did not think this was a kids game at all. I loved everything about it (yes, it is a little slow moving).
Thank you for no ghosts, portals or dark story.
Very refreshing.

I really liked this game and I'm going to buy it. It is challenging.
The only thing I didn't like is it is slow to go to tasks. It is a fun game and I believe you will enjoy it.

This adventure is refreshing, fun, and colorful. I just finished the Demo.

Pros:
There are no dark, soupy pictures to try and squint at.
The puzzles are challenging enough. I would like to see sparkles around a hot item when I'm taking too long to find it.

Cons:
Loading screen time between each location.
Instead of clicking on the item I want her to walk to, I have to click on the arrow in the bottom, right-hand corner which loads a new screen/view. This is more loading time to wait through.
Instead of dragging an item from inventory to the item I want it to interact with, I have to click on the inventory item to highlight it, then click on the other item. This is slower, imo.

None of the "cons" are a big deal or a deal breaker. This is a really fun and pleasant game. A nice break from saving the world, evil persons ruling the world, bombs, poison, etc. I found myself taking a deep breath and smiling as I played.

I have been strictly an adventure gamer since the 80's. But recently I've been buying adventure/hidden object games as they are lighter weight, still making me do problem solving, but providing a way out with built-in hints and skip buttons. Show less

I am half way through this game and I am very pleased. Some levels are really hard and others are easy. It does tell whether a level is going to be hard or easy before you attempt it. It definitely gets harder as you go along. The easy ones are fun busy work to give you a break from the harder ones. I have had to skip a couple of the harder ones. KUDOS to Brave Giant and their fearless leader Boris! Fearless because he brought something new to the table.. a game that would be loved or hated.

Loved the tasks to go to rooms to find things….. but the puzzles kept getting harder to figure out and I skipped so many after several attempts to solve.
I was wishing for a guide to help me figure those out and learn how to do them but there’s not one.

It was one of the longest games I’ve ever played!! And I mean days……

So if you’re satisfied with the status quo and cookie cutter games you can be happy to wait for more of those but I’m so happy to have bought and played this unique little gem. Show less

I have played HOG games for years but I have found that this type of "escape room" games are really different and fun! Sadly there are not enough of them around. Another I found was 100 Doors Game: Escape from School. Loads of fun without the dialogue. I hope the developers responsible for these two games will continue to make more of these. It is nice to have something new, different and offer many different types of challenging puzzles to solve. The low ratings from some are not a fair portrayal for those of us that enjoy puzzle games. If you enjoy varying degrees of unique puzzles to solve, I highly recommend this game. Show less
