Hawaiian Explorer: Pearl Harbor is an exciting treasure hunt game where you will scour caves, beaches, shops, and shipwrecks in search for the legendary 800 year old Japanese Diamond Medal. You will be part of an extreme search and find team working for an eccentric multi-millionaire who has a passion for traveling and world treasures. This is a hidden object game based on lists of items. The game is divided into 5 "sets" of 3 missions. It is a timed game, and if you run out of time during a set, you have to start the whole set again.
The mostly aquatic scenes are nice, almost photographic, but I found many of the objects so hard to find I had to use hints. There is a 10-second penalty every time ...Show more

This is a hidden object game based on lists of items. The game is divided into 5 "sets" of 3 missions. It is a timed game, and if you run out of time during a set, you have to start the whole set again.
The mostly aquatic scenes are nice, almost photographic, but I found many of the objects so hard to find I had to use hints. There is a 10-second penalty every time you mis-click (yes, even the 1st click), so your timer can go down quite rapidly.
When I started, the "mission set" clock was at 8 hours to complete 3 missions... so I thought this will be an eezie breezy game. I was surprised however when the clock was down to 5 hours after I completed the very first mission in about 5 minutes; so despite having 8 hours to complete the set of 3 missions, that mission clock is not "real time". When I got to the last mission of the 1st set, my allotted mission time was 8 minutes, but my "mission set" time was 2 minutes?!?
Try it for yourself: I thought about half of the objects were fairly easy to spot, but the other half could be quite tricky... I play a HOG to relax, but this game was way too difficult: I couldn't finish the 1st set of 3 missions during the demo! Show less
