Great graphics, clear, bright, beautiful scenes, good sound, great story. I like that I didn't have to change my screen resolution just click stretch screen in the option menu, nice choice. You also have the option of seeing the achievements you need at the start of the game. HOS's not to challenging but fun with some listed objects and some images of objects. You also have the option of seeing the achievements you need at the start of the game. HOS's not to challenging but fun with some listed objects and some images of objects. Mini games were enjoyable they didn't have me pulling my hair out. You also have a journal and a task list. Hint button recharges slow but is helpful if you need it. The cut scenes didn't seem to fit the game they should have been done better but it was no problem for me. I'm glad I bought the CE version it ws fun and you get to finish the story. Show less

Not only beautiful art, but challenging enough that I struggled to move forward in certain places. Some of the best concept art I've ever had the pleasure of easily downloading, then recovering on my C drive to include in desktop themes. I will look for more games from Specialbit...

Some puzzles of course but this is an older gem that really focuses on HOS.

Sonya's sister is one of the victims and she takes off after it dealing with smoking evil spheres, bloodthirsty bandits and other assorted monsters. The game really pulls you along! The art work varies between pastoral enchanted settings to grim caverns with spiders and assorted skeletons scattered about, some with and some without items you might need.

There is no map but you operate in smaller areas, so it's not hard to find your way around. The hint button resets in a reasonable time, and there are always things to see and do while it's resetting; sometimes I found the object before the time was up, so win!

The HOS are medium difficult and photo/drawn well enough so you can see what really is there. No "modern" items to jar you away from the game (are you listening, devs?)
In this case I advise getting the CE as the Bonus chapter is effectively the end of the game.

Puzzles are a mixed lot, some easier and others I had to skip, which it does allow you to do.
One thing that later on devs did that I appreciate - most of the hints told you exactly what to do, and I prefer to be just shown the area. Sometimes it directed me to a HOS and then I was able to continue on my own.

For all you hidden object gamers, this is a great buy. Show less

! did not care for the story line! It was in and out! Strong and weak! You had to travel back and forth so many times, confusing! I know Big Fish is capable of having better games than this!

I played the demo and wasn't impressed. I also read the Forum and noticed lots of glitches had been reported. The hint button works well but is a little slow to renew for me. I didn't see any collectibles; no voice overs; no map -- nothing to make me want to buy this game. I guess games since 2011 have just spoiled me.

I don't recommend this game.

The puzzles were ok. Instead of being able to find objects, you have to keep going back and look for the room that has sparkles, for a list of items to find. Then it gives you the item you need. I prefer the games that you have to search the rooms for the items you need.

I don't recommend this game.
