I love detective games but in this one you belong to a secret division of the FBI investigating archives of highly classified (think paranormal) activity, so it's definitely not a CSI style game.

This is a challenging game. The story and plot is well done, even if once again we are stuck in an abandoned place (this time a ghost town, complete with resident ghosts).

I love detective games but in this one you belong to a secret division of the FBI investigating archives of highly classified (think paranormal) activity, so it's definitely not a CSI style game.

This is a challenging game. The story and plot is well done, even if once again we are stuck in an abandoned place (this time a ghost town, complete with resident ghosts).

Graphics are standard (high quality) for new games. Objects in the (many, many) scenes, are relatively clear and correctly labelled. The journal is excellent and necessary reading if you take an interest in the unfolding story. There is a map that is neither interactive nor marks your current location.

The hint system is first-class. It tells you where to check next and can take you there instantly, without using up the hint.

There is some back and forth but it's possible to use the hints to travel quickly to where you need to go. Most of the town is closed off to you early on and you gradually open up more areas.

Hidden object scenes are plentiful. They are of the usual dark and dreary abandoned junk pile variety, but nicely done with some great interactive items that are fun to solve.

Only 2 game modes. I played advanced in the demo and it is not possible to switch modes once started. I recommend the easier mode as I often missed things I needed, and I did not complete the demo in the allotted hour.

Puzzles are challenging but skip-able.

The developers of this game also made the Love Chronicles series so it's a definite change of theme for them. While some things felt overly familiar - abandoned gas station, abandoned diner - the great cut scenes and unusual story made up for the deja-vu in the setting.

This is a high quality game with a great plot. The cut scenes are movie quality and use real actors. Lots of voice-overs, a responsive cursor, fast animations and a helpful journal promise several hours of enjoyable yet challenging investigation. Show less

Just yesterday I was wishing for a science fiction mystery and here it is - and VERY well done!

I really enjoyed this and played it practically straight thru in about 6 hours.The gameplay is non-linear but reasonably logical. I hadn't done everything in the same order as was expected but the gameplay was unperturbed by my odd playing order.

All the animations were great throughout the game and the music was pleasant and nonintrusive.

Also, a satisfying ending most all loose ends tidied up.

I just finished my hour for this game & it's a definite buy for me! The graphics are excellent, the music is ok, but tolerable. I loved the hint button because it showed you what to do next. Other HOG's could take some tips from this game, unless it's a CE. Loved it!

I needed to use up my free game, so I got this game and hoped for the best. I was happily surprised to find that this game was challenging, entertaining, and beautifully drawn with great HOs. I really enjoyed it and couldn't stop playing it!
I highly recommend this game, I am a HOG snob so I'm kind of hard to please, but this one did!! I hope they make so more real soon - GO TOP SECRET FINDERS!

Sound and music are very good. Music is orchestral.

The hidden object games are slightly interactive and a lot of fun. These are not too hard to do as items can be seen clearly and you don't spend too much time on them. There are a lot of them though, but honestly I was having so much fun that I really didn't notice when playing them.

The mini-games have a very good challenge and I played every single one without skipping. Some of these took a long while to do. They are not too hard or frustrating, but some do take a while to get in the right order or to think about. However, you can skip them if you feel inclined. There are a lot of mini-games to play and there is a good selection of them.

The story line was good and easy to follow. The ending finished satisfactorily with all loose ends tied up BUT I WANTED TO CARRY ON PLAYING as I was having such a good time.

All up the game took me about 10 hours to play. I'm not a fast player and the mini-games certainly took a while to do.

The developers hit the target on this game. It is everything you want in a game - good graphics, great HOS and mini-games and a story line that you can follow.

Definitely worth putting in your collection. Happy playing fishies. Show less

I loved the music and wish I could have downloaded it but there is no collectors edition. I loved the graphics, the story line, the HO scenes, the puzzles, the voice-overs, the REAL actors, the violence, the uniqueness.

One thing I would warn is that this game might would need to be an NC17 game or rated MATURE, as there is a suicide in the game using a gun, it looks real and even blood splatters ...Show more

Then there is a dummy hanging in the bathroom, so 2 suicides, I wouldnt want my daughter to see that one scene(the gun), BUT I loved it, its like a movie, thats one thing I wish there was more of in these games. Real actors, with the words matching their mouths, them playing out scenes like in this one. Down and dirty, real life stuff, more cop/detective/real stuff. No more fantasy land like Princess, Kings, palaces, crazy dreams ect...More stuff like this game and like Angelica Weaver and New York Mysteries ect..
Eveything I want in a hidden object game, I got in this. There were no repeat HO scenes which I like, the hint system took you right to where you needed to be, no guessing....LOVED THIS GAME ...50 STARS!!! Show less

Well sort of, you're investigating a ghost town and its kind of a mystery how it got that way. I've played about 15 minutes, but I'm giving 5 stars, and I'm buying the game. I wish we got more games with these kinds of themes.

Tons of things to do, nice graphics, well done HOS, interesting puzzles, at least 6 hours of length and a good amount of backtracking. The only complaint are the sparkles for the HOS even in advanced mode.
Almost perfect.
