I just love the Dana Knightstone games. It has a spark over it that makes it different, ignoring the fact that most of the games are, sadly, too short and too easy.
This game, based on the demo, was fantastic. I didn't get to see much of the game, but it was lovely. It's definitely a buy for me.

This game, based on the demo, was fantastic. I didn't get to see much of the game, but it was lovely. It's definitely a buy for me.
The story is about Gabriela, a ghost who was murdered in what seems like a lighthouse. Gabriela's love, Silvio Torres, was accused of murdering her. But as we know from the other Dana Knightstone games, of course he didn't. You control Dana in the journey to finally free Silvio Torres' spirit from the endless burden.
The game starts out gory, not sure if it continues. You get a small jumpscare here and there, nothing to worry about.
Overall, this game was amazing. Show less

I was afraid after the previous installment that the Dana Knightstone was in danger of becoming a generic adventure'HOS game.
I was wrong.
It is back with its star-crossed lovers story, and murder. Back to jewelike backgrounds that are a treat to look at. Back to inventive HOS. Back to the Dana Knighstones we fell in love with.
Now I want a fifth adventure! And a sixth! And more!!!
I recommend this game!

I thought this was a great game. Not a lot of backtracking, inventory items used within a reasonable amount of time.
On casual, I finished in less than three hours, skipping two puzzles after multiple tries. Still worth the price. Nice story line.
I recommend this game!

The entire atmosphere was extremely relaxing. This is a slow-paced, take your time game. Sit back and enjoy this investigation-mystery.

SETTINGS, ART and GRAPHICS: Coastal and built on a cliff, a hotel from which you get great views of distant night lights shining in the water. Lovely distant views. Visit the bakery (was really hoping for a HOG there…but no such luck). Once you get to Montez Farm in Chapter 3, you’re treated to some extraordinary backdrops!
STORY: Murder! Why! Who? Is the ghost trying to lead you somewhere, to clues? A powerful family who own a famous vineyard are under suspicion. Lost a bit of momentum towards the very end. Nice interaction with characters.
MUSIC & SOUND: 2 divisions. Nice appropriate ambient sounds. Voices were done really well, but there’s no lip movement, if that’s important to you.
HOGS & PUZZLES: Medium amount.
HINT: Shows you where to go, what to use and portal.
MAP: Map will show image of place that action is required and you can use it as a jump-map.
TASKBAR: Stays visible.
LEVELS OF DIFFICULTY 3, which are NOT interchangeable once play has started.
EXTRAS: A Map shows you where tasks are available and you can use it as a jump-map. In addition, you get a journal.
I loved the scenes, locations, graphics and storyline! Show less

The visuals are beautiful and the characters are depicted in such a delicate way that reminds me of the anime I loved. The music is gorgeous and the storyline is clear to follow. The mini games are very enjoyable to play as well as the hogs. I love the element of flashback portal that reveals the past without interrupting the main storyline. The thing I love most is how each chapter is separate and stand alone on the map. This limits the back and forth search to only the current chapter and makes it much more pleasant to play! This game gives me a very classic feeling and I would strongly recommend it. Show less

Despite the spooky subject matter, Death Under Tuscan Skies: A Dana Knightstone Novel is not a jump-scare type of thriller. Rather, it is a gentle, somewhat romantic mystery that takes place in the ridiculously beautiful Tuscan locations. Nothing ugly, messy, broken down, covered with bugs, or cob webs just straight up real life beautiful scenery!
Haunting, lyrical tunes accompany the player through unbelievably gorgeous scenery, from the dark and somewhat spooky university library to a sun-drenched Tuscan village and a remote and mysterious monastery. The professor you meet and interact with through out the game is nice piece of eye candy, he made the game that much more enjoyable for me!
Each chapter is one location which cuts down on a lot of wandering back and forth,( which I hate!) while presenting yet another picture-postcard locale to be enjoyed. The puzzles are a nice mix. The hidden object scenes are sharp and clear, and are also a nice mix of the standard list-type as well as "find 20 of a particular item" and others where you must find objects based on pictures or silhouettes.
Fun and beautiful game that I only wish was a little bit longer. Give it a try, I think you'll like it!

Dana Knightstone has arrived at the beautiful grand opening of a motel at Cape Porto for a relaxing getaway, or so she believes. Dana has the unique ability to "see" the dearly departed and this ghostly adventure will have you snooping and spying on the hotel owner himself. Dana's visions give her the ability to travel back in time, and hopefully solve mysteries surrounding the untimely death of his beautiful wife, and the man accused of her murder. There are a lot of areas of interest in each scene, however, most actions are predictable and easy to figure out what to do. The HOS are interactive list finds but the poorer quality graphics make the items easy to spot. There were a lot of mini games and I did enjoy solving most of them such as re-constructing the family tree with photos to their correct positions as well as in either a male or female slot. If you aren't a fan of the murder mystery themed games then you probably won't enjoy this game but if you are, this one's interesting. Show less
