A young boy is visiting his Grandparents when he discovers a chest in their attic. Inside this chest is a magical globe capable of mimicking things on earth and other planets as well. The boy decides to use this globe to rearrange a few elements as he sees fit, to make the world a better place. This all sounds interesting so far, and the game begins with the elements of nature on planet earth. The tutorial isn't that helpful, basically it shows you that you can click on two of the available elements, which at first is water, earth, air, sun and stars. You combine the two elements by either dragging one element to the other, or by clicking on both elements, and hopefully you will create a new element. There is a meter at the top which slowly fills as you create new elements (I'm guessing at this because no further instructions were given or available that I could see) There is a store that will allow you to purchase a single hint, a hint that shows an available element (but not which elements need to be combined to create that element) or you can purchase a full package of hints. There are icons for a single hint that takes about 2 minutes to recharge, and an icon that shows an available element, and this too must recharge before it's available. There is also an icon for a book or journal, that shows you the elements, and tells you something educational about that element, each new element will be added to the book, which helps you keep track of which elements were combined to create that element. Take a good look at the "educational information" written in this book, page one alone had so many obvious spelling errors, that you have to wonder if anyone bothered to do a spell check!

I played this game for the entire 60 minute trial, it's neither good nor bad, nothing super exciting, yet nothing horrible either (cept for speling lol) SPOILER ALERT: I will list the combinations I was able to find, mostly by trial and error, in the following paragraph so read no further if you want to discover them for yourself.

Water & Earth=grass, Grass & Water=swamp, Swamp & Grass=bamboo, Grass & Earth=bush, Bush & Swamp=moss, Swamp & Moss=fern, Grass & Sun=flower, Bush & Earth=tree, Sun & Stars=meteorite, Meteorite & Sun=Moon, Moon & Sun=lunar eclipse, Meteorite & Earth=earthquake, Water & Meteorite=stones, Stones & Earthquakes=mountains, Water & Sun=clouds, Water & Clouds=rain, Clouds & Rain=wind, Wind & Rain=heavy rain, Wind & Water=waves, Heavy Rain & Wind=tornado, Rain & Mountains=snow, Snow & Wind=blizzard, Wind & Water=waves, Snow & Waves=iceberg, Heavy Rain & Clouds=thunderstorm, Thunderstorm & Wind=tornado, Thunderstorm & Heavy Rain=lightning, Lightning & Tree=fire, Tornado & Wind=cyclone, Blizzard & Water=iceberg, Waves & Earthquake= typhoon, and now I'm just getting confused about what I have and haven't listed! Hopefully this will help you get the idea of how the game works, or at the very least you can compare my list to your's for new ideas or to list other combination's to help out the next person, enjoy! 15 years ago, the 3-D graphics would've been stunning, but there have been such great strides, that the artwork in this game is just pathetic. Add to that, there are just too many spelling errors that this can't even be described as an educational game. As much as I wanted to enjoy a game that wasn't another dark HOG, this is not that game.

I don't recommend this game.

Based on less than half the demo time played. Maybe it's just me, but I found this game to be very crudely made and extremely boring. It took almost an entire half hour to download - the longest of any BFG game I've played - so I expected so much more. The graphics are blocky in places, like an out of date game. There is no real tutorial and I don't see any gripping point to the game. You combine 2 elements to create and discover new elements. Discover all the elements to complete the level? I guess. There's no explanation to let you know what exactly the aim is. If you've ever played Tales of Lagoona 2, this game seems to be exactly the same as one of the mini games to create new elements. There are coins to purchase hints or to show you where an unknown element is going to be located - In the short amount of time I played before I realized I was on the verge of falling asleep, I never learned how you get a coin. I only learned by pressing random menu buttons how to spend them. lol

This would be a mediocre game for a child learning about the environment in school. Show less

I prefer puzzles that require logic, not brute force. It looked like this was all you do in the game and I can't imagine doing this same thing over several levels. This game is a bit different, You have to join things together in order to make the next thing. Some joins are logical others are not. The professions level is sexist in that there is just one woman and she is a seamstress - what no tailor? There are a few spelling errors but they can be forgiven. But my overall opinion is don't waste your money. Iwas glad I got it with a credit voucher

I had heard so many wonderful things about this game, even on the Pond Video, but when I tried to play it? AWFUL!

I "think" the gist of the game is to rebuild the world using a magical globe found in an old chest. Okay. Sounds reasonable and fun.

There is NO tutorial. NO help whatsoever. So, what do I do when I get the globe? I finally figured out how to get to an area I could "work" on. A little pond of water showed up and then a patch of grassy earth. Put one on top of the other and grass grew totally in another area. I tried this several times and the same grass ..... well ..... didn't even grow! I tried this in several areas but it just created grass in the same place the initial place where it grew earlier.

I found a button to click and an entire list of images showed up but no instruction as to what did what and what I should do next.

The potential for an amazingly fun game is definitely there but in actuality, there is not enough of a tutorial or help to play it.

With no idea what to do, this game is definitely NOT for me. I don't recommend it for beginners. Maybe Experts can figure things out. But .... not me. If you can make it through the demo ..... props for you! Show less

You are basically clicking on things to discover elements to pair together to create an additional element (water and earth = grass).

As you create new elements, they are entered into a journal that gives you information about that element. Information about some things were left unfinished, which I found odd. For example, when I combined things to make the desert, the journal had two paragraphs, ...Show more

As you create new elements, they are entered into a journal that gives you information about that element. Information about some things were left unfinished, which I found odd. For example, when I combined things to make the desert, the journal had two paragraphs, except the second paragraph started out with "Deserts are sometimes classified as" and that's it. Nothing further. Unless this is going to be filled in later on? Same thing with a couple of other elements.

It's a really boring game without a point to it. Just pair things together until you find a match to create something new. Some things are obvious to pair, and there's a hint option if you get stuck.

Graphics are clunky and the new age type music is a snooze.

I'll pass on whatever this is supposed to be. Show less
