I loved this game. In fact I've replayed it 3 times and am thinking of starting it again. Lots of variety. Lot's of levels. Easy to manipulate through the screens. Challenging secret areas to find.
There is something about the 'coin treasure' games. There is NOTHING that i disliked about this game.

Let me start with what I didn't like about his game.....whoops, there isn't anything. Okay, so lets go with what I liked about it. First off, all the other reviews are pretty much spot-on. This game reminds me of 'Supercow' but IMO is far less 'glitchy'.

As with all BFG I suggest trying out the trial but if you're like me, it won't take long to realize what a perfect gem this game truly is.

I recommend this game!

I'm always on the lookout for games I can play using my USB game controller, and here's one! I must admit, I didn't like the game the first time I played it and couldn't wait for it to end, but there was one level I couldn't figure out how to finish and it bugged me. I've played that game in school when i was younger. I found it a few days ago on the internet and remembered how great it is. You're right. Sometimes the levels are boring but its still great! Its open source too! So you can mod it.

The graphics hold up well, up to 1024x768 resolution, the models and lighting effects are great. The music tracks are also fantastic.
My only gripe is that levels don't have much to differentiate each other, which makes them feel slightly blended together. Once most level setpieces and enemies have been introduced, you won't run into new ones for a long time. Show less

Jolly good fun except that (a) it doesn't tell you how many secrets you have to find before you play a level and (b) if you find you have missed a secret you cannot go back and do the level again. You have to either complete the whole game and start again or just start again without completing the whole game. I started again and made a note of all the secrets needed after I completed each level with a view to starting the whole game again from the beginning. So frustrating especially when it is all too easy to reach the finish point without wanting to do so (i.e. on some levels you can go straight past the end marker to reach new parts of the level while on others the end point means just that. Why oh why? Now I realise that this may be a very old game and nobody cared about such things when it first came out but it sure as (fill in your word) makes a difference to enjoyable gameplay now.
