No one knew Marion Ashworth better than her own parents, however, the students and faculty of the prestigious Belfort Academy of Dance, knew her as entirely different person. News of Marion's death came as quite a shock to her wealthy parents, and an ever bigger shock when they discovered that the victim wasn't their Marion. This imposter was so cunning, she was able to fool Ms. Compton, the headmistress, not to mention her classmates, this Marion was the only Marion they knew existed! Who exactly is the murder victim, and what happened to the real Marion? Did the murderer intend to murder the real Marion or the imposter Marion, and why?

This is a fantastic Whodunit/Whoisit investigative adventure with Madame White, hot on the trail of some mind bending and deceitful evidence. Your Evidence Board is located on the bottom right of the screen, which holds all the information, clues and bios you collect during your investigation. Some of the inventory items have plus signs indicating that further action is required before that item can be used, such as fixing broken items or combining it with another inventory item.

The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly interactive list finds, but there are unusual scenes as well, such as searching the murder victim for signs of a struggle, or finding a specific number of personal items. You can opt to play a Match 3 game in place of the HOP, which requires you to make matches of Codminions in place of the listed item search. The Mini Games are good, but I was surprised to find most of them just revamped puzzles, matching two related items, or using arrows to rotate several fabric buttons on a diamond shaped grid until the buttons were in their matching colored holes.

The Collectors Edition has 41 hidden Collectible Masks, Achievements, that allow you to receive Gold, Silver, or Bronze categories within those thirteen achievements. There are 10 Morphing Objects, but they are only available within the Hidden Object Scenes. To help you remember, there is an icon that will flash until you find the changing or morphing object. The Collectors Edition also has Souvenirs, replayable Mini Games and HOP's as well as Bonus HOP's once the Bonus Chapter has been completed, the Making of, Pictures which has both Wallpapers and Sessions, Movies, Match 3 games, Music, and a built in Strategy Guide, enjoy! I still don't understand the dialog boxes, but I guess they have their reasons. Music goes along with the situation and is rather enjoyable. Effects are right on spot too.

There are several different types of hidden object scenes. From the list to a picture, to... you name it they put it in there. I didn't much care for the mini games. They were a bit, no, a lot more difficult than I like to attempt, but I don't like any of them so that is no distraction from Eipix. Those who enjoy racking their brains will enjoy this one. There are numerous minis for you to ponder. Thankfully for me, the skip is nice and quick as is the hint. I didn't play the alternate game. Enjoyed the hidden objects. You have an interactive map which is great. There is a journal which to be quite honest I found useless. Still don't know why they even included it unless it was to have something to hit when I was aiming for the map button.

You can read about the story, but I can tell you it is consistent. No holes... well written and executed. This series has been awesome. I can't wait to play it again. There is so much to enjoy about this game I'm sure I left something out. Give it a try and see if you don't agree it is good. Show less

I really enjoyed playing this game versus some of the same old, tedious fairy tales that are so common. This is a good mystery with an interesting story that is well told. You collect evidence along the way in a journal. Game play is good with good HOS and puzzles. The HINT button works well. I missed what others complained about, the "Think" thing. I played lots of hidden object games, and kinda sick of dark and creepy pictures.

This game has pleasant settings and pictures, even though the subject is still murder. Not at all scary, but still interesting!

I do agree with the absurdity like finding faucet in the windcharm, but I guess that's typical for all these games!

I still recommend this game to people who enjoyed Nevertale series. They are another series with not too creepy pictures. Show less

you have been asked to help solve the murder of a ballerina and when the parents are brought in to identify the body the dead woman is not their daughter. now, as a detective, you have been asked by the parents to find the missing daughter. not too many HO scenes but they have great graphics and are very clear. there is a custom level. an interactive map and a journal. it is an enjoyable game.

I recommend this game!

Sorry I purchased the Reg edition, would have liked to play a bonus chapter. This game really played like a cc edition. It was very long, good mini games, interesting storyline and nice graphics.

This is my new favourite game. I adore the plot written here. A proper mystery with a plot twist that is discovered right near the start.

Lovely artwork, many sensible object discoveries and it's great to have a match-3 version that takes over "hidden object finds". I prefer to find objects but know that it's not for everyone... it's clever to have something different available.

I recommend this game!

To me, this was the best of the series. Compelling mystery, engaging characters and psychologically true. The story never got bogged down with interacting with objects. Goes on my favorite games list.
