You get to find the smallest fireflies for hints and to skip puzzles and yes hos are junk piles. Try it but be careful cause things go bump and crash in the night. Not for kids Show less

This is the second in a series of 3. I initially finished this game in 2011. I feel this is the best of the 3, but I loved them all.
The graphics are perfect. This game can also be challenging (in fact all of them in this series are).
I still love this series, many years later and highly recommend trying it!
I recommend this game!

This game kind of reminds me of The Emptiness. It is different and original and best of all challenging! It even has a little creep factor to it with eerie music while you are playing. You really have to look for objects in different rooms and sometimes they are hard to spot! I have played all three of Campfire Legends and this is the best one!
I recommend this game!

This is my first review of a game, but I had to say that I think this is my favorite one so far. What particularly pleased me was that the hidden objects were done so that it mimicked real life. I am sick of the games that have a storyline which is suddenly interrupted by a spot filled with all sorts of improbable items, like clocks, pineapples and plastic feet, that have nothing to do with the story. And you know that they are all to be found in that one spot so you just keep looking. NOT THIS GAME. The objects you are looking for happen to be things that you are going to need to complete a particular task, such as wires, a screwdriver, a soldering iron and so on. And those items are not necessarily to be found in one place. You may get one item from one room and the others from somewhere else. And the places where items are hidden are full of objects that you would expect to be in such a place. The kitchen drawer contains a beer opener, spatula, spoons, etc. Yes, some of the stuff is small and/or you only see an edge of the object, because they are drawn to scale. I hate games where you find a sock and an umbrella that are the same size.
I found a total of three "fireflies" which you need for hints or to skip a mini-game. I decided not to bother with them and just concentrate on finding the stuff I was supposed to, so I really used no hints and skipped no games.
For that reason, I found this game really challenging, but once you embrace the fact that it is not predigested for you, it's great. Most of the mini-games you get no instruction of any kind, except perhaps how to move objects. The rest is up to you, as it would be if you were faced with this situation out of the blue.
I always have to wonder, though, why places in most all of these games look like abandoned 1970's Russian technology. Show less

This game is great, and I never give reviews. Good graphics, throw in some eerie music, with a great story line, and some jump out of your skin scenes and you have a good game. Not the normal HO you have to find pieces to solve a puzzle, and some of these puzzles will challenge you. Through out the game you have to find fireflies to get your hints, but be frugal with them. There are places you wont find more, but usually if you use them you can find another close by. BUY ALL 3 and play them in order to get a good game flow. Hookman, Babysitter, then Last act.The great part about this game is you have the choice to start where you left off, or start over. I will play these more than once. three great games for your collection. Show less

This was a really creepy little game and I loved the very suspenseful music. There were a couple of surprise scares too that I enjoyed. I love being scared when I know it is only a game. Also, the storyline was quite good and followed through, making sense, plus it actually had an excellent ending, although very sad! I was surprised at how it ended, didn't expect that at all !
It was a challenging game and contained the old back and forth thing, looking for items and clues, etc. But I frankly did not care because I was really absorbed in the game. The items were pretty hard to find and the puzzles were not so easy. Instructions? Bare minimum if any at all, but that made it fun and NO HOPs to interrupt the flow of the game.
I was familiar with the hint system from playing the Hookman though this time it was tweaked a little. I knew when I needed another firefly all I had to do was backtrack into previous scenes and I would find one somewhere. They created no problems, I was never without a hint and I really had fun looking for them. Skipping a puzzle was easy as long as you remember you need 3 fireflies.
The graphics, color, characters, voices were all great. The scenes were very eerie with all the abandoned medical items and typical stuff found in hospitals and medical labs. I certainly would not have been a brave babysitter like Lisa. No way!!
The game was a good length and I definitely had a lot of fun playing it. I highly recommend it because creepy games with a good plot and good ending don't actually come along all that often. Especially ones with no blood, witches, demons, etc. This one just had a crazed, obsessed doctor to watch out for. I'm hoping the "Last Act", the final game of the series will be just as entertaining.
The ONLY negative I found to this game...there was no way to skip the intro scenes. So every time, you exit and return, you have to watch the opening scenes and it aggravated me a lot even though they took only a couple of minutes. Just felt it was an unnecessary annoyance.
Faith.... Show less

This is the 2nd game in the trilogy of Campfire Legends! It isn't as creepy as the first but it was full of horror none the less.
I loved also that you could play the diary after completing the main game.
I loved the graphics, nice and crisp, the house was fantastic. Loved all of the mini games in this of course that is all there is ...mini games.
I wish for more creepy games just like this!

This was so much better of a game than the usual so boring don't play to the end. There is more of a challenge to find things. More of a challenge to solve the puzzles. More fun all the way around. Plus bonus material after the main game. This game has some similarity to The Emptiness. I loved that game as well. I so wish there were more games like these! A great change of pace.

I played the Hookman series of this game and I was hooked(no pun intended) lol. So when I saw this one for sale I just had to try it, and it hooked me too.
