This is a great game for people like me. I am 75 years old and can't do the games where you have to go from room to room, etc. because I can't figure them out and I get very frustrated.

This match 3 game gives you the option of easy with no time limit. It has a variety of match 3s, traditional, group, etc. Plus the side games were a lot of fun and while I might have had to think a few times to figure out what it needed, I was able to finish them all. The puzzle pieces were fun too. It has quite a few levels so it took quite a while to finish the game. It had so much variety, it was totally enjoyable. I love it when the game gives options for people like me but also give options to make it a lot harder for more experienced (and younger <grin>) players. Something for everyone! I also appreciate Big Fish ... Their customer service is very easy to deal with and they are super nice!! Show less

I have nothing negative to say (I could do without the side building game, but it's not a deal breaker and unobtrusive) about this game! It's a perfect match-3 game! Combines traditional match-3 boards with group matching, and chains. Puzzles add a bit of extra interest, as well as learning a very accurate telling of the story of Jason and his Argonauts.

Fast game play, make matches as tiles are still in motion. Use "blessings from the gods" to clear rows, etc. Place bombs anywhere you choose. Collect special tiles to gain the "blessings," and match other tiles to unlock special items.

The background graphics are lovely, the tiles themselves very nice and fitting the game (olives, urns, grapes, fish), and the music and sound effects first rate.

If you get bored I don't think you gave it more than a board or two! Clear the colored tiles, collect the "blessings" feathers, make matches of special tiles (feathers, keys...), use bombs, break out blocked areas... there is not time to get bored! Show less

i played on the easiest level. it is mostly M3 with just a hint of HO thrown in and a "compare the pictures". hints were fast. no skips. the power-ups were good. you are matching at least 3 items together to get them off the board. you have a chain level, a swap level and a group level. you don't get to pick which one you use. the game does that. you are traveling in a ship that you get help from ...Show more

I bought and finished this game. I really enjoyed it. I did play it on the easy mode. I rated level of challenge with five bars because there are two more difficult modes that I may or may not try. Sometimes an easy game is just what the "doctor" ordered. You play it and have fun and don't agonize over it. You get lots of bonuses and the challenge level is low, but if you are looking for some mindless entertainment, it's a fun game, and I like how you learn the story of the Greek myth behind the game. This was an entertaining game. As other reviewers have commented, it is fairly easy. You get lots of bonuses and the challenge level is low, but if you are looking for some mindless entertainment, it's a fun game, and I like how you learn the story of the Greek myth behind the game. There are some minigames between some of the levels, including HOS, spot the difference, etc. There are, I believe, 10 levels (at least 9), and the boards are varied.

One gripe I have with the game is the tiles that take two matches to eliminate. The silver color is almost identical to the background level of the game board, so they are very difficult to spot.

I have played this game for over two hours, so I am fairly certain is never gets very difficult. It is fun, though, and can be made more challenging by using either of the higher difficulty ratings. I haven't tried those yet.

It is basically a match-3 with varied mini-games, some of which are hidden object scenes. The mini-games are not hard.

Unlike the majority of match-3 games, it does have a good story: an accurate rendition of Jason's journey with the Argonauts.

The match-3 scenes are varied in having different goals, and some are group mode or chain mode rather than swap mode -- you don't get to choose. An interesting feature is the fact that the emblems to charge the power-ups can be collected with a single click, so they provide a lot of opportunities for strategy because when to collect them can determine other matches. The power-ups fill relatively quickly, and so far are pretty standard varieties.

All in all, this is a comfortable and interesting game, but, at least in the low difficulty mode, not overly challenging. I hope someone starts with the very hard mode and posts a review comparing that mode. Show less

I enjoyed the demo, so I bought this little game. I find it interesting and a little different. And I enjoy earning to buy the buildings in a game, and this one is like that. :)

I will give this game credit, it has every possible variation of Match 3 available, Chain matches where you click and drag an entire chain of matches, Group matches where you click on groups of identical tiles, and the normal Swap matches. This game is available in Mortal (Easy) mode with no timer, Hero (Medium) with 500 seconds to complete a level and 60 seconds for the hint and skip options, and Olympian (Hard) with only 300 seconds to complete each level, 120 seconds for the hint to recharge and no available skip option.

The goal with most levels is to make matches over all gold and iron tiles, each level varies as to what type of Match 3 is required. Some tiles are blocked with fog, ropes, double ropes, wooden blocks and even brick which require at least one match on or nearby in order to unblock the tile. Large matches will earn bonuses on the board such as a bomb which can be swapped to detonate and clear several tiles. Some levels require you to collect items such as keys or feathers which are used to unlock and expose sections of the board. Bonus tiles only require a single click, when enough bonus tiles have been collected you can use the bonus anywhere on the board to clear out rows, columns or sections of tiles. The money you earn is used to purchase building that will appease the Olympian Gods who are helping you upon your journey. Show less
