Fantastic game flow and story line. Did not even look to see if there was a jump map, but did look at the map. I had so much fun. I never wanted it to end. Goes to the tippy top of the to buy list.

The HO's were very well done and there was some sort of collectable water plant and lots of winged bugs to collect. I am partial to Dragonfly's. The only time I heard my voice is in protest to the ...Show more

The only time I heard my voice is in protest to the attacks by the evil ones. During dialog with others my voice is silent which would have added more flavor to the game if they had provided it. For some reason having a voice makes you feel more part of the story. Lots to do in this game. Puzzles not so new but they were good ones.

I loved this new series. Series seem to be what's trending these days at Big Fish. This edition is an eccentric tail from the ivory tower of mythology. Your friend is delivering a lecture on the famous Minotaur of antiquity, which everyone knows had gone extinct long before… or has he? At the lecture, a mysterious man makes the bold claim that the Minotaur is alive and well, only hidden away in his labyrinth where he awaits another birth. Once the Minotaur comes back, he has the full intention of causing all sorts of trouble. That’s where you step in. You play the role of Pamela, the Chosen One, descendant of Ariadne, who is the only human being who is able to stand up to this beast. Can you stop him before he does his evil work? It's up to you because you have been chosen by the Gods and given a torch granting you special powers. You will have the opportunity to reach out onto a hidden exotic island on a quest to find the supposedly fictitious beast, the Pegasus, in a bonus game that will knock your socks off! Throughout the Collector’s Edition, there are hidden flying insects(28) that you can collect along the way as well as morphing flowers (20) to pick up. Even the ones who are freaked out by the insects will do find with the ones in the game. Most of them are so pretty! There are some achievements (24) that you can earn and unlock as you go which have come down from the gods themselves. There are four difficulty modes: Casual, Advanced, Expert, and Custom. Map and Strategy Guide are provided as you play. The hidden object scenes are mostly lists and silhouettes (but are not limited to), but they are well thought through to engage you as much as possible. The HOP scenes are outnumbered by the mini-games that offer quite a variety of puzzles. I recommend this adventure for players of all levels. Enjoy.... Show less

I've been getting bored with many of the games released lately but this one really got me. I loved playing with this game and it reminds me of my vacation on the exotic island of Crete. The graphics lit up my eyes, the colors were bright and detailed. The locations have got this fairytale style. I also liked the story since I’m interested in Greek Mythology. I have been playing big fish games for at least 10 years and this is the first time I'm posting a review because THIS game has been full of color, great mini-games, and hidden-object scenes. I loved every minute of it and recommend it more than highly. Have fun! (Wish I could play it again without knowing where it goes - that's how good it was).

I bought this game after 20 minutes into the demo. when it was time for me to stop playing for the night I had a hard time stopping but it was nice to look foreward to continue playing the next day. sometimes I wish the games were a little longer. its a let down when the game is over unless there is a bonus chapter. you won't be sorry if you get this game.

OVERVIEW: May the gods be with you as you venture into a labyrinth of HOP scenes and puzzles in this gaming odyssey! As Pamela, the Chosen One, descendant of Ariadne, you must confront and defeat a monster, the Minotaur, who is “bullish” on creating strife. I LOVE this game. I like this developer’s games and feel this game shows a vast improvement from previous ones. The script for the game provides a new twist on the Greek legend of the Minotaur. The artistic quality of the graphics has also greatly improved from past games. There are more puzzles than HOP scenes; however both are creative and innovative. The pace is excellent with a variety of activities to perform.

HOP SCENES: The HOP scenes are varied. The scenes are primarily silhouette and lists of items to locate. However, the scenes are quite interactive and puzzle like. You need to perform a variety of actions to uncover some of the items. There is also a storybook sequence relating the story of the Minotaur with items listed in BOLD letters.

MINI-GAMES: The puzzles in the game are varied. Most are easy; however there are a few in the demo which are moderately difficult. The puzzles include two matching puzzles, a switch puzzle, a mathematical puzzle, a maze puzzle, two moving tiles puzzles, and storybook sequence with some mini-puzzles.

FAVORITE PUZZLES: I like most of the puzzles; however, my favorite puzzles are two moving tiles puzzles and a mathematical puzzle. In the two moving tiles puzzles, you must rotate tiles to recreate a picture. These are a little time consuming and require some strategy skills to complete them. In the mathematical puzzle, you must set tokens on tanks so that all the tokens on each tank added together equal 50.

Theseus never completely destroyed the Minotaur. He was lacking the crystals to infuse power to Ariadne’s Thread. Under a planetary alignment he will be reborn again to cause havoc on mankind. Only you can defeat him by locating the crystals to empower the Thread of Ariadne. Along the way you will need to deal with a cult of soul collecting, Minotaur worshipping, robed figures belonging to the Sect of Pasiphae. They will be trying to avert you from your quest to stop the rebirth of the Minotaur.

A. Locate items and interact with the scene to forward to the next item to locate
B. List of items to locate with some interactivity within the scene
C. Silhouette. After locating an item, use it to interact with the scene to forward to the next item to locate
D. Mini-HOP scene. Collect olives by interacting with the scene
E. Storybook with items listed in BOLD letters. Very nicely done.

MINI-GAMES:
A. Matching puzzle. Locate matching elements on books. EASY
B. Matching puzzle. Locate and interact with items in a storybook. EASY
C. Switch puzzle. Switch pieces of a family tree so that it completes the picture of a family tree. Pieces snap in place if they are in the correct location EASY
D. Mathematical puzzle. There are tokens and tanks. Move the token among the tanks so that the combined total of the tokens on each of 5 tanks equals 50. MODERATELY DIFFICULT
E. Maze puzzle. Move an ornamental piece from one end of a design to the other by moving tangram shaped pieces to create a path. EASY
F. Moving tiles puzzle. Recreate a picture by rotating tiles. MODERATELY DIFFICULT
G. Storybook sequence. Locate items listed in BOLD letters and interact with them in relating the story of how the Minotaur was saved by his mother. You must also choose between four to five items or characters in telling the story. There are two matching puzzles as well. EASY
