Why Is It Called 1001 Jigsaw If There's Only 500 Puzzles?

fromOne of the trophies is earned for completing a 1000 piece puzzle but even modifying the largest puzzle only has 355 pieces?

It's no secret, I'm a jigsaw puzzle freaky geek, my favorite series is 1001 Earth Chronicles because I prefer the earthy nature type picures. This puzzle has a large variety of pictures ranging from nature and animal pictures to landscapes, people and places from all 50 states, how cool is that? It's no secret, I'm a jigsaw puzzle freaky geek, my favorite series is 1001 Earth Chronicles because I prefer the earthy nature type picures. This puzzle has a large variety of pictures ranging from nature and animal pictures to landscapes, people and places from all 50 states, how cool is that? You can even choose a resolution that will make the pictures pop on your computer screen. There are 5 different boxes available, and each box contains 100 puzzles. The boxes aren't categorized into types such as state locations or nature pictures which is unusual.

You can earn Trophies for reaching goals such as playing a certain amount of hours, joining up to a million pieces, scoring a certain amount of points, solving a puzzle without making a mistake, solving various sized puzzles, or solving a puzzle without using hints, sorting, or pocket features. There are also Top Scores and personal Best score tallies.

Any of the puzzles can be modified with the number of pieces, the cut shape of the pieces and whether or not you want the pieces to rotate. There are 4 different backgrounds to choose from, pink, green, blue and grey, a box to store extra pieces until needed, a Sort option a Border only option, a Hint option and an available Magnifying glass to enlarge pieces. You can also ghost the image of the puzzle to the background or hang a picture in three different sizes.

For the first time ever, they have changed the music to a native american type soundtrack which is so much better than the previous soundtrack that is offered in just about all puzzle themed games! Enjoy my fellow puzzle geeks! Show less

I played for about 15 minutes. I was not sure. My autistic son came and saw what I was doing. He started playing it. We ran out of time. I bought it. He plays it. I enjoy the glow in his eyes. I highly recommend this game for every one. from beginner to experts. What I like about it the most is no lost puzzle pieces.

1001 Jigsaw World Tour is a lot of fun because you have several different pictures you can choose from and they can get pretty challenging, even at the early levels. You get puzzle pieces and you have to put them together. If you get stuck and the board becomes too cluttered, there's an area where you can store the puzzle pieces until you're ready to put them on the main board. Likewise, if you get stuck, there are a few hint types you can choose from. One is the border, where it'll take away all of the pieces except the border pieces. Overall this is a great game and I thoroughly enjoy it. Show less

i have now purchased three of these games and still haven't completed all of them. they are fun and some are quick and some are complex. i have always enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and this is a great way to play one quickly or over time. The puzzles are great.

But the color of the pieces is awful!
Example
Blue Leaves
Blue Treebark
and many more colors that aren't the same as the pictures

I like 8 floors' jigsaw games. The music is same for every jigsaw games, but it makes me feel like " I'm playing the game I know well, there will be no surprising nor scary things".
As other mentioned, the size of jigsaw are quite small. It will be hard to play for my eyes soon. The 8 floors should release the games for the people who needs reading glasses.

Meaning there was a small space which made it seem you had the wrong piece in the wrong place. I also selected no rotate on each puzzle but the pieces would rotate and needed rotated anyway. What's with the colors on the puzzles. I've never seen blue french fries and blue lettuce. Purple meat, blue tomatoes...I don't get it. Other than that, these are some good puzzles.
