This is a standard "gather resources" and "upgrade" time management game. It is however very user friendly and fun to play.
The characters move at good speed, you can multiclick your tasks, and there are many different bonuses.
You DO need strategy though quite early on as to how to use them and which upgrades to do first (if at all) which is quite refreshing rather than "upgrade everything" ...Show more

I play loads of Time Management games and especially enjoy the builder type. I had a lot of fun with this one. There were some twists in that you have to go a certain way or you run out of resources. I play loads of Time Management games and especially enjoy the builder type. I had a lot of fun with this one. There were some twists in that you have to go a certain way or you run out of resources. Had to start over a few times now and then, but once I got the rhythm of the game I really enjoyed myself. Unlike the other reviewers I liked the storyline and actually read the text (most games I just click through the dialog.) After I got used to the game I was able to go back at the end and get gold on all levels. Will definitely play this one again later. I also cracked up a bit when they referenced Elven Legend. :-) Show less

i do like this game a lot even though I do not think it is for beginners. Rather early you have to really think about what you are doing and how. So it can be challenging.

If you like TM games this is a goody! I was surprised find it more challenging than I expected. You have to think to get through some levels. Great fun!

I love this game. It is a TM but I found it quite challenging. The farther you go the more you must use the proper strategy. In certain chapters, if you go the wrong way or do not use the increase buttons at the bottom you will find you self starting over. This to me is a challenge. I loved it. The story is great you go through the game wondering if you will find her father and ultimately the storyline is more then that....I don't want to give it away so I won't spoil it for everyone. But the game is good you do need strategy to get through this game .........I cannot wait until the next one comes out

Since I like TM games and there are not a lot offered lately I am enjoying this. Some of us just want to relax with a game and this is doing that for me. This is a decent Time Management game, but there's nothing new offered. The graphics are okay, but the music is annoying, in fact after completing each level the music becomes uncomfortably loud for no reason.

Ann Windsdoe's father embarked on an archaeological expedition in Madagascar when she was just a child, but never returned. It has been 20 years since that fateful day and Ann has put together a team of her own to explore the same locations as her father before her, and hopefully, find the answers she's been looking for all those year's.

The tasks are the same as most other TM games, gather resources, repair bridges, clear paths, construct and upgrade buildings. There is a bit of strategy to apply, if you don't you will waste valuable time waiting for the right resources to progress, as you become stuck. Really, the only thing different with this TM game is that a helicopter drops unlimited amounts of food onto the landing pad. There is a bonus bar on every level that can be used once charged, to make the workers faster, give you an extra worker, freeze time or add resources, but these features only last for about 15 seconds. One of the locals joins your team as a guide, and he comes in handy to scare away any wild animal that wanders into your camp, once his tent has been erected that is.

As I said earlier, this is a decent Time Management game, but there's nothing different about it, even the story is the same. There's nothing that sets this game from the rest and really no incentive to purchase this game over any other Time Management game. Compared to a game like Incredible Dracula which is spooktacular, this game doesn't stand a chance. It certainly is worthy of a credit, but because I have so many other TM games, I'll probably pass on purchasing the game but I did enjoy playing the demo and hopefully you will too! Show less
