Mount Olympus is in trouble once again, this time the "Boss" has gone MIA. Zeus has disappeared, only his shoes remain at the helm of the mountain. Hercules and his wife Megara are embarking on a journey through Volcanoes, the brutal Winter, the Tropics and even Underwater to find their beloved ruler.

There are three different modes of difficulty, Relaxed, Casual and expert, and every level that is completed within Gold Time (3 stars) will reveal a part of the ancient underwater castle. Each level has a puzzle piece to find which looks like an ancient rune tile, I always look for the puzzle piece before clicking on anything which starts the game, that way I don't forget about the puzzle piece or waste time searching for it. You can then assemble each jigsaw puzzle once all pieces have been found, and I'm assuming the finished puzzle can be set as a wallpaper. You can replay any of the levels to try to get a better score or if you forgot the puzzle piece. There are several Achievements or Trophies to earn for tasks such as collecting a resource after completing the level tasks, completing the level without using bonuses or finding 10 puzzle pieces. (I counted 23 total spread throughout the levels) As you progress, different bonuses are made available that can be used each time the meter refills, such as more Resources, or Faster workers, but the effects are only temporary.

There are the usual tasks of building and upgrading farms, sawmills, goldmines, and even outposts that house workers that are far from home, clearing and repairing paths, and collecting food. Each task requires a certain amount of resources to complete and when you scan over a task, the requirements needed are shown as well as the resources you are lacking to complete the task. You can click on several tasks to have the workers complete, a checkmark will appear on the item for every available worker, and flags will queue the rest in numerical order until a worker is free. In Relaxed and Casual modes, the tasks available are circled in green, yellow indicates you will be able to complete the task once the resources collected are delivered to the base camp, red indicates the item is either blocked or you don't have enough available resources. Hercules is the go to guy for removing things no mere mortal could accomplish, and there's always an abundance of boulders and landslides in every game of the 12 Labours series.

This Collector's Edition has 9 Wallpapers, 23 (to the best of my knowledge) Trophies or Achievements to earn, (which can be viewed on the level map) Collectible Puzzle Pieces, Puzzles to complete once all the pieces have been collected, a built in Strategy Guide, 5 Bonus Episode and a Super Bonus Level enjoy! This is one of the few series, along with Weatherlord and some others, that I really enjoy. This time Zeus has been kidnapped by Poseidon who plans to win the election (not sure THAT makes sense) and flood Mt. Olympus to the ground.

The one thing I really like this time is the new music. It is so much fun to listen to that I don't even turn it off! ha ha. I played the demo and bought this, although I have to be honest and say that I don't know what makes this a CE yet.

I am so happy to play a TM game again that I am really really enjoying. Thank you! I have the other games in this series and this one is just as fun. So many TM games lately for me are too frustrating in order to get 3 stars. I don't mind replaying levels, looking up strategy etc. But when I am tearing out my hair to succeed it ruins the experience for me. This game gives a choice of difficulty ...Show more

I have played and own all the games of this series and I still find that each new version has some new and old favourite features. Hercules uses his muscles and the workers and his wife do all the rest of the hard yakka. Love that the birds can still be clicked on. Top Marks

If you liked the other Hercules games, you'll love this one. I haven't played it all the way through but I've thoroughly enjoyed what I have played thus far.

This is such a fun game, I have all of the 12 Labours games and this does not disappoint. Brilliant graphics, brill characters, brill sound.

The levels are so much fun and finding all the puzzle pieces and artefacts (probs not in the standard edition) adds to the fun. There are plenty of levels and extra bonus ones, again probs not in the standard edition.

Really enjoyable, just buy it!

I can't find whatever allows me to attain the puzzle option. I have found the two black monsters hiding. The Jar tells me that there are 2 options to find. I found them. I have played game oover 5 times, but can't find any other that will give me the puzzle icon. I am playing in the center game style HELP ...Show more

This along with Weatherlord are the few "collector" type games i really enjoy. Cute storyline and characters, quick gameplay with just enough challenge. Really enjoy it.

I absolutely love TM games and was excited to finally see another TM game on BFG. While I enjoy playing the game, it is no where near Incredible Dracula. I will order it with one of the specials, I will play it to the end, but I'm not excited about this game.

I know that TM games take hours and hours and hours of development and testing before release, so I give kudos to the development/testing team for spending the time to give us this game. And, for that I thank you.

I am afraid we will see fewer and fewer TM games because of the time it takes to develop this type of game. I'll keep looking for them and hoping for the best. In the meantime, I will play this one in hopes of a new TM soon.

Having said all that, I would rather have a mediocre TM game than the endless, same ol' HOG games that seem to be non-stop on BFG. Same people giving those games 5 stars every time, but if you read their reviews, they say they will wait for the SE game. Please, BFG, more TM games ... PUHLEZE!!! Show less
