This is a charming game perfect for children and the young at heart. The game flow and cute graphics are flawless as you match three or more of a variety of cakes to fill your customers orders. This is a charming game perfect for children and the young at heart. The game flow and cute graphics are flawless as you match three or more of a variety of cakes to fill your customers orders. These customers are patient and never leave in a huff and are just happy to have cake in their lives. This is a limited moves game but an enormous amount of moves are given that it doesn't seem to become an issue at least in the demo. This is not a challenging game just something to relax to. Good game for relax. Boosters themselves fall out. If I'm tired of the level, I can use a couple of bombs and go next.

My first thought was that the ramblings between the 2 PPLE was a bit OTT but when I tried to play the match 3 is a little small

This is a cute Match 3 game, that would be great for kids to play, but I was bored after about 10 minutes of the demo. This is a cute Match 3 game, that would be great for kids to play, but I was bored after about 10 minutes of the demo. This is a Limited Moves type match 3 game, requiring you to make a specific number of matches of each particular cupcake that the customers order. The customers arrive at the top of the match 3 board or counter, and the match 3 board is located underneath, which means that all of the boards will be small enough to fit, which will certainly be a problem for those who have impared sight or cannot see small items (happens to us all eventually lol!)

Another feature I hate is that after you have fulfilled all of the customers orders, you have to wait until all the bonuses do their bonus thing, which seems to take forever, then you have to wait for the score to tally, then you have to wait until the level map appears, then you have to wait until the Monty the raccoon and Elly the girl discuss the next cupcake recipe, eventually you get around to playing the next level...eventually!

If you make large matches, you will receive bonus cupcakes on the board such as:

-Match 4=Line Bombs either vertical or horizontal depending on which way the match 4 was made.

-Match 5=Rainbow Cupcake that removes all of the same cupcakes depending on which cupcake you choose to match with it.

-T Shape Match=Circle Bomb that destroys cupcakes in a circle around the cupcake bomb.

-L Shape Match=Diagonal Bomb which blows up two intersecting lines of cupcakes.

-4 Across 3 Down Matches=Magnet which collects cupcakes of the same color and turns them into a Bomb.

Eventually you will earn Power-ups that can be used anytime such as:

-Cross=This activates a Cross Bomb wherever you place it.
-Magnet Booster=Places magnets on the board.
-Spatula=Removes a single cupcake of your choice.

As I said earlier, I think this would be an ideal Match 3 game for kids because it's a very easy Match 3 game. Because it's so easy, I'm not sure adults will enjoy it as well, or at least not for very long. Show less

Despite the lovely graphics this game has very limited game play, very frustrating to play as there are too many dialogue pop ups and tutorials and no real story or use for your points (I stopped after level 10). Almost feels like the game plays itself, no real challenge. Disappointing.

I don't recommend this game.

Way too much waiting for the characters to talk about a stupid story. Way too easy to start then gets impossible. Powerups all of a sudden stop and there are no more when you really need them. Explanations about the different things in later levels are horrible and you can't figure out how they work. Very frustrating!!

Here is another M3 that feels like it was designed for a phone or tablet.
The goal is to serve 3 customers at a time that appear at a counter and you serve them various types of cupcakes. Over time you need to match NEAR items, as well, such as whipped cream and cookies in order to make them appear and fulfill that customer's order.
Graphics are very clear and cartoonish. I didn't like the goofy style of the characters either.
The boards are VERY small at first, 4 tiles x 4 tiles and get bigger with levels. By level 10 the tiles get smaller and it's around 9 x 9. The game itself does not fill a PC monitor. To see what I mean- refer to the 3 little descriptive windows on the games Title Page. For PC there is blurred space on either side of the monitor and on a larger monitor, like mine, there is 14" total of useless space. It is obvious this would not be the case if it was only required to fill the small vertical space of a tablet. The map shows there are 90 levels of gameplay.
LIMITED MOVES: I can't stand a M3 that has limited moves and no other options of gameplay choice in the Options Menu. The first time you'll notice the limited moves is in Level 1-10. This gives the entire game a feeling of it being a lower budget compared to many other PC M3 offered here.

If I was actually reviewing this game for a tablet/phone I guess I'd give it a rating of 3 but since it's for a PC with the higher price tag... I'd say save your money or buy it for your smaller device. There are just way better M3 out there to spend your time on.
Of course demo it, just in case, you may love it, but this one is a no buy for me on all fronts. Show less
